The Man in Black by L.R. Liverpool. I really enjoyed this Western Novel. It is a bit long so be prepared for that but the story is very good. Its the story of Fenimore who is leaving the life he’s always known behind to go and be an outlaw. He thinks its going to be like the books but what he finds is not that. He ends up joining the Red Evans Gang and becomes Simon Shaw. As members of the gang begin getting murdered he’s not to sure he made the right decision and debates going back home. He also discovers while he’s on the trail with the gang that he has feelings for one of his fellow members leaving him confused and frustrated. This book is very emotional and will rip your heart out in spots. Trying to find out who is trying to kill all the gang members and dealing with Simon’s feelings it gets to you in spots. This is a very good Western Romance with murder and mystery along with romance.

This is the first book in the Heart & Hand Series. I really enjoyed being transported in time with this read. The author writing was captivating and really enveloped the reader in the world they had created.
This is a historical fantasy romance but it is full of action and adventure as well which make its different from a typical historical romance. There is danger, secrets and betrayal as well as a romance between 2 people who meet by accident but never forgot each other.
Anna has been married to Roger. However her marriage isn’t what she was expecting and when Roger goes missing for long periods of time she enjoys the peace. But things arent what Roger leads her to believe. He has a plan, a plan that would make him and everyone associated with him a traitor including Anna.
Larkin has been made aware of a traitor in their mists so he sets out to find and rid the kingdom of this traitor and their supporters. So imagine his surprise that when on his search he finds the woman that has never left his mind. Can it be true that she is part of this and being a traitor also or is she just an innocent pawn in a much bigger game her husband is playing.
Can Anna prove her innocence? Would Larkin believe her? And what happens the pair are reunited after all that time?

This is a very enjoyable read and i can’t wait to see what the author has next for us.

As someone who has been working off and on to write my own book over the past few years, as I have time to do so, this book had some great tips and advice. I liked that the advice was laid out by different topics, and then by individual authors as well. This book is easy to pick up, read a few things rather it be just to get out of your own head, to learn something new, or to learn from those who have come before you on a specific topic. I would definitely recommend this to new authors or anyone who just wants to hear the advice of others.

This BOOK you guys! Absolutely amazing. The characters, flow, and the SMUT were all perfect. I loved reading about the tension between Vaughn and Xena. Especially in the beginning!

They had this undeniable chemistry but neither of them know what to do with it. They both know what they WANT, but they aren’t sure what the other does, and for Xena, it seems out of the question. Why would a sexy billionaire want to end up with her, even just for a night? Meanwhile, Vaughn can think about hardly anything else after their first spur of the moment meeting in his office.

I definitely recommend this book if you need a hot, easy read!

With plenty of steamy scenes and twists and turns to keep you pulled in, this book is one of the best I’ve read so far this year. Giacomina Marconi is awakened and rushed out of the only home she and her daughter, Viviana know and unceremoniously dropped into the laps of the Hawke family she had previously only known by reputation. What Mina doesn’t know until that moment is the family is also that of the man who fathered her daughter on a long ago weekend away with only fake names and more steamy time together. Mina’s mom runs one of the mafia families of Chicago, while Isaac’s family is legitimate, but has some…questionable business interests and ties.

What an awesome read. This had me devouring every word as I related very closely with Emily. The author really understood the daily struggle someone with anxiety faces and at several times I thought she was writing about me. Aging can make people realise things about themselves and others with so much more clarity. Such a beautiful ending, I even shed a tear. This book is not to be missed. Highly recommend!

Shameless Love is the second book in The Bennetts of Langston Falls Series by K.G Fletcher. I have read and LOVED all her books- and she is on my automatic one-click, no questions asked author list- so it was a given that I would snap up a copy of this latest release and I was really excited to dive in and immerse myself in the story.
As expected from Ms. Fletcher, the story and characters were fantastic and comes with an emotional wallop that I’ve come to expect from her. She has a knack for making my heart ache and go pitter-pat all at the same time.
It’s a wonderful, contemporary opposites attract romance with plenty of emotion, small town, chemistry, sizzle, forced proximity, family, finding love unexpectedly, and more.
Can’t wait for the next instalment!

I always love this author’s stories. They always entertain the children and they also give you (as a parent or teacher) a way to impart real knowledge to those children. In this story we learned all about the lifecycle of a caterpillar. We are also taught how to acknowledge the difference between male/female butterflies. Last but certainly not least is all the wonderful information about migration of monarch butterflies, complete with maps. Not to mention the illustrations are always beautiful! You won’t regret buying these wonderful books for your children.

Ruthless Hawke is the first book in the new Hawke Family Second Generation series by Gwyn McNamee. It follows on from Night Hawke (the prequel) and is every bit as brilliant as I thought it would be, and then some. But we are talking Gwyn McNamee here- and she sets the bar incredibly high, so this book/series was always going to be stellar! But even knowing and expecting greatness, she still blew me away!!
As I mentioned in my review for Night Hawke, which is where we first meet Isaac and Jack, I am a HUGE fan of the original Hawke series….. so I was really excited when I discovered Ms. McNamee had plans for this second-generation series. I absolutely FLOVE the original Hawkes with such a fiery passion, but this new series- starting with Isaac and Jack- OMG #newobsession #addicted #needmoreSTAT- this book is EVERYTHING!!!! And finding the family tree at the beginning- made my heart so happy- and I am beyond excited for the (potential)l books to come!!!!
Seriously, I cannot recommend this book/series/author highly enough! You NEED this book in your life.

The first full novel for the second generation did not disappoint. The number of twists and turns made this a fast-paced exciting book. I do recommend reading the prequel to this book first as it makes each revelation all the more shocking. I loved how action-packed this book was while maintaining an air of sexiness. I also enjoyed seeing how the first generation grew up and continued to work together, all while still embracing those that are blood and those that are not. Proof that even the mob can not keep this family from keeping each other safe. I’m ready for the next book, especially with the final sentence

I had never read anything by this author before I picked up Chatroom with a View so I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into but the synopsis really drew me in. As a fan of psychological thrillers, this book really piqued and kept my interest. Chatroom with a view was a dark rollercoaster ride with a strong storyline. The characters had depth and the feelings you have toward them shifts throughout the book. I felt like this was one of those novels that has you second guessing your thoughts and feelings and while entertaining, the book really did play into my emotions. I would definitely recommend this book and will be looking into more books by this author.

This was a good 5 star read. I was excited to read this rockstar romance. You could feel the chemistry between Adam and Cristy coming off the pages. When Cristy goes on tour with Adam and his band things get very interesting. As he gets to know her more, Adam feels himself falling for her. They connect on some deep levels with their history. We get several twists and turns, my emotions were all over the place. Will these two get a HEA? The author does a great job with her writing and pulls you right in. I look forward to reading more from this author and series. 1-click and get started today.

The storyline is about an introvert living in an extroverted world, and the main character, thirty eight year old Emily Parker still feels as awkward and anxious as she did at eighteen. However, as a young adult other people accepted this, and even reassured her that it was an expected part of growing up, and things would improve. For Emily though her insecurities have only gotten worse, and she now feels she has to hide her feelings and put on a fake smile for everyone.
She has gotten used to making excuses and avoiding situations, but when this doesn’t work she then spends more time trying not to make a fool of herself, that she never actually enjoys herself. Emily is now familiar with her ‘inner critic’, the ever present and getting louder voice telling her she doesn’t fit in, and making her worry way too much. The author writes so honestly and sensitively about real issues that many women feel, that reading this book makes you feel like your not alone. It definitely took me on an emotional rollercoaster, but it was worth it for the uplifting message that comes across in the skilful writing.

This was my first book from this author, but I am absolutely looking forward to reading her previous and future works. Overall I found this to be a very sweet and sexy romance novel with some suspense twisted within the story. Elyse and Walt were electric from the start and their chemistry was palatable from the moment they saw each other. I loved the secondary story line regarding his sister Becky’s online cooking show which helped bring them together. I thought Becky was a wonderful character and absolutely enhanced the story. The Bennetts of Langston Falls is definitely a wonderful series and I can’t wait to see what happens to the rest of the family. It’s an easy read that kept me reading straight through until the final page.

Cole comes from a wealthy background where all that glitters is definitely not gold. These two meet at a party and sparks fly leaving them and the reader on a cliffhanger that makes you want to jump straight into the first full length novel. March 30th cannot come soon enough.

I have come to really enjoy reading about the Hawke’s. The Hawke’s have always been about protecting their family, their legacy and this book was no different. Isaac is no different when it comes to being a protector, but when a blast from the past shows up with a child in tow that could only mean one thing. He knows from the moment he looks into her eyes that she is his and he will do whatever ot takes to keep her safe. But why has Jack shown up out of the blue after all these years? If you want to find out whether there is a happily ever after for these two you will have to read the book to find out. You won’t be disappointed.

What was meant to be a one night stand has turned into something much more. First of all, let me say that I absolutely loved Night Hawke, which was the prequel to Ruthless Hawke. It definitely starts the series off on the right (steamy) page, so if you haven’t read that one yet, pick it up! I love the entire Hawke family and this one is no different. Gwyn McNamee has such an extraordinary way of grabbing your attention, making you speed through the book without realizing it. The amount of natural chemistry pulls you in and feels more like being a part of the story instead of just looking from the outside in. I HIGHLY recommend this book as well as anything else Gwyn writes because her talent is just incredibly powerful. They have never disappointed me yet!
