After having read the first two Prentice Brothers books, I was eager to read this one and discover Trey’s story! We had only heard a little about him in the past two books so there was a whole story to uncover! And Nicole Flockton did not disappoint! I love the way she creates new and interesting characters who make you fall in love with them and invest in their stories! Highly recommended!

A Merry Texan Christmas (Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge, #3) by Nicole Flockton was a fun 5 star read and once I started I couldn’t put it down.
Trey has retired from baseball and moved back to town. He has bought a bookstore and to get attention he decorates the storefront for Christmas. In doing this he has caused some hard feelings from Maggie.
Maggie is the school librarian and she loves Christmas. Her biggest joy is decorating all the store fronts. On her way to work she gets a shocker when she sees a crowd in front of the bookstore. She discovers that her high school crush Trey is back in town and is now her biggest competition for storefront decorating.
Trey is immediately drawn to Maggie, they both have the same love for Christmas and they have a connection. Maggie brushes the connection off thinking it’s nothing but her crush showing. As they spend more time together she starts to see more in Trey.
Can they have more together? Will Trey reconnect with his family?
Overall this was a great read. There were several things going on in Trey’s life along with pursuing Maggie. Their connection was great and you could feel the connection coming off the pages. I had some LOL moments and really enjoyed Maggie and her little dog. If you’re looking for a fun holiday romance 1-click and get started today. I look forward to reading more from this author.

This is the third book of the Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge. We already know we love the small town, but it doesn’t take long to get lost in the story of Maggie and Trey and their love obsession they each have for Christmas . If you are looking for a sweet Christmas romance, this is the book for you, Nicole Flockton doesn’t disappoint.

A Merry Texan Christmas (Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge Book 3) By Nicole Flockton
I loved this book and this series as a whole. I enjoyed getting to know all the Prentice Brothers. This is Trey’s story, he has moved back home after retiring from his baseball career. He is now a bookstore owner and since he loves Christmas so much he decided to make a Christmas window display. Maggie, who is also known as Miss Christmas and when she saw his window display she was not happy because doing the town’s window displays is her thing. These two end up having to work together, the chemistry between these two is off the charts. The banter between these two had me grinning while reading this wonderful story. Now that Trey is back he also wants to be closer to his brothers. What will happen between Maggie and Trey? Will Trey get closer to his brothers? This is a must read, I couldn’t put this romantic, fun, holiday story down. I highly recommend this book.

A Merry Texan Christmas was an absolutely adorable read! It follows Trey Prentice, the oldest Prentice brother, on his journey to a new chapter in his life after retiring from professional baseball.
Maggie Watson is the school librarian and all around Christmas lover. Known as Miss Christmas during December, she is ready this year to make her window dressing business the most successful it has been. That is, until Trey Prentice might ruin it all.
Trey Prentice has a secret that no one really knows. After living in New York so long playing baseball he has developed a huge love for Christmas. He never thought decorating his new shop window would chsnge his life forever though!
I absolutely love Trey and Maggie! Maggie has something to prove to herself and Trey as a family to reconnect with. Can they do their own things together? I absolutely adore Sweet Ridge, Texas! I hope there is more from this lovely Texas small town someday!

A Merry Texan Christmas by Nicole Flockton is the third book in the Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge series. This book can be read as a stand-alone as does not need to be read in order. This is such a fun Christmas romance I absolutely loved it! It matched the perfect level of lightheartedness with an amazing story. While it never seemed to take itself too seriously the story line was just a well developed and interesting. I don’t usually like too many holiday romances as I find them a bit too cliche this one was entertaining and just great from start to finish. The characters worked so well together and made the book amusing. This is a great book to add to the series and probably me favourite so far.

A Merry Texan Christmas is the 3rd book in the Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge series by Nicole Flockton. Each book focuses on a different brother and contains a full story, therefore each book in the series can be read as a standalone. I have read several of Nicole Flockton’s book so far, including the 2nd book in this series and I’ve always enjoyed them. This book carried on the tradition as I thoroughly enjoyed this book too. As the title suggests there is a Christmas theme to this book and it plays a very large part in the storyline, particularly as the heroine of the story Maggie is called Miss Christmas by the residents of Sweet Ridge. When baseball star Trey Prentice retires and moves home to Sweet Ridge is he about to steal her title from her and become Mr Christmas? I loved the characters of Maggie and Trey. Maggie is super sweet and adores her role as Miss Christmas. Trey is also a super sweet character. His little gestures of hot chocolate and donuts for Maggie shows a more vulnerable side to his character. Added to the adorable characters is Chester, Maggie’s adorable pup who she dresses in matching Christmas outfits to match her own. This book is a great read and as it’s not a very long book I managed to devour it in a few hours. I would definitely recommend this book.

This was a really enjoyable and engaging contemporary romance with added Christmas spirit which put me in the festive mood. I have enjoyed the two previous books in ‘The Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge’ series and I also loved this one. As usual the author brings us great characters in,Trey and Maggie. Former baseball star Trey Prentice is happy with his new life as a bookstore owner in his hometown of Sweet Ridge, Texas. Although he loved his competitive and elite lifestyle in New York he is enjoying a more quiet life and being able to spend time with his family and friends. In the lead up to Christmas Trey excitedly decorates the bookstore and joins in with the town’s holiday traditions but soon finds himself doing battle with Sweet Ridge’s own Miss Christmas. Miss Christmas is actually Christmas loving librarian Maggie Watson who each year decorates the shop windows and spreads Christmas cheer around the town. Maggie is unimpressed when she discovers she has competition in cocky Trey and is determined not to let him take away her Christmas crown. However, when the couples verbal sparring turns into flirting Maggie wonders if there’s more to life than books and Christmas but her past insecurities threaten to get in the way of her happiness. This is a wonderfully heartwarming romance between two very likeable and relatable characters and I was cheering them on hoping they would get their happy ending. The storyline is full of romance and Christmas vibes and the narrative flows well making this a lighthearted and easy read. A great book to get anyone into the Christmas spirit!

A Merry Texan Christmas (Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge #3) by Nicole Flockton
Trey, the eldest and baseball player, finally comes home to settle down. Thing is though, he never thought about finding love. He comes to find that he’s not the only one who loves Christmas. The quote I chose for Trey is: “I’m not going to deny I was a little taken aback, but it’s not something I’m going to keep bringing up. I’m also sorry you had to find out about this contract the way you did. I’m going to discover how it happened. I don’t like that it’s out like this. The Stars now believe that I’m going to play with them and I haven’t even given serious thought to what I’m going to do.”
Maggie, school librarian and towns’ window dresser, finds herself in some competition. What happens when her crush from school moves back? The quote I chose for Maggie is: “You’re right. I need to go. I love him. I don’t want to go through what I’ve gone through the last few days without him nearby. I’ve got to suck it up and find out what he has to say.”
Highly recommended for contemporary romance lovers.
I am so sad this series is over but what an amazing series this was. This book follows Trey, a retired baseball player who is now a bookstore owner and Maggie the town’s librarian. These books all have amazing characters and each with their own unique personality and so relatable in their own small ways. If you want a quick read and even a Christmas read, this is the book for you.

A Merry Texan Christmas was a great read from the very beginning. Maggie Watson also known as Miss. Christmas will have her work cut out for her this year when she wakes up and sees a crowd gathering around a book store. When she sees the window that was decorated beautifully she is beside herself. Trey Prentice Is a retired baseball player who has moved back to town and now owns the local used bookstore. Not only does he own the bookstore but he can create an amazing Christmas display. Will the towns shop owners now want Trey to decorate their windows? Trey and Maggie were both attracted to each other but will Maggie ever give Trey a chance? This book had some flirting, some banter and some romance. This was a perfect holiday read to get you in the spirit. You definitely won’t want to miss out on this one.

5 stars Such a perfect book to read at this time of year to enter me into the Christmas season and boost my Christmas spirits. I quickly became lost in the story, and couldn’t wait to see what would happen at each turn. Trey and Maggie’s chemistry is awesome! It is really sweet that Maggie “used” to have a crush on him, but we all know she never lost that crush. The love she has for Christmas is everything I wish I was. Their little rivalry is cute and had me smiling. Trey seems like the perfect man to me, he is retired from baseball and now runs a book store and it doesn’t hurt that of course he is good looking. The fact that he can decorate a window for Christmas doesn’t hurt either. Watching these two grow in their relationship and in general is sweet and fun to watch. I really enjoyed this series, and I’m sad it has ended. Are you sure there are no other secret brothers we can add in?

A Merry Texan Christmas is book 3 in the Prentice Brothers series by Nicole Flockton. I am yet to read the other books in this series (although I will definitely put them on my ‘to read’ list now), but this book can be enjoyed as a standalone read. Maggie Watson is a librarian in a little town in Texas, the type of place where everyone knows your business and your neighbours are your friends. I always love books that have that small town feel, full of characters not just people. Trey Prentice is a former baseball star who is now back in his hometown and running the local bookstore. He bonds with Maggie over their enjoyment of Christmas lights and decorations, and when the mayor calls upon ‘Mr and Mrs Christmas’ to join forces they soon become more than friends. This is a lovely Christmas read, and the perfect way to spend your afternoon if you’re looking for a feel good read. The characters are a joy to read, and really bring the story to life.

A Merry Texan Christmas is the third book in the Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge seriesby Nicole Flockton. This is a sweet, small town contemporary romance, with plenty of fun, all the Christmas feels, and just enough drama to keep things interesting. I really loved this Holiday Romance, and as expected it is a wonderful addition to the Prentice Brothers series. Trey Prentice has put aside his baseball career to take on life as a bookstore owner- embracing life in Sweet Ridge. With Christmas fast approaching, Trey can’t wait to decorate and make his shop a little Christmas wonderland. But he is going to have some stiff competition in the form of Maggie Watson, the local librarian, and Sweet Ridge’s resident Christmas decorating guru. Her knack for all things Christmas has even earned her the tittle of Miss Christmas. Let the competition begin. But she’s not going to go down easy- especially to the arrogant newbie. With plenty of Christmas shenanigans and fun, what happens next makes for a really great read. If you are looking for a Christmas story that will captivate you right from the beginning, then this is definitely the book you have been looking for.

I have read a few books from this author and she continues to blow my mind. This is the third book of the Prentice brothers of Sweet Ridge series. It could be read as a stand alone but there are previous characters in this story as well. I love a good Christmas story but this author exceeded all my expectations. I was so excited to read this book I stopped everything and started to read it immediately. It only took a few hours to devour this incredible book.
Trey Prentice is now living in his hometown for good. He has decided that it was time to retire from baseball. Trey is loving his new life as a bookstore owner. He loves Christmas so much he decides to do some window decorating. Trey is so happy that the whole town loves his window except Miss Christmas,Maggie Watson. He didn’t want to make her mad. Trey and Maggie are asked to work together but can they put their differences aside? When they get to know each other will they find a miracle they thought was never possible, love?

Trey was the one we didn’t know that much about but this Christmas-themed romance was just perfect for Trey and Maggie. Besides Trey finding his HEA with Maggie, he also mended his relationship with his brothers. Loved this trilogy and can’t wait to read more book by Nicole.

I loved reading all of The Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge books by Nicole Flockton! The characters are lovely and just makes your heart melt. They have been especially great for zoning in and forgetting the craziness of 2020. In the third book Trey, the oldest Prentice brother, comes back home to Sweet Ridge after retiring from his baseball career and buys the local second hand book store. He’s okay with the knowledge that he’s back home but still a little unsure he made the right decision. Will he stay in Sweet Ridge or head back to play baseball?

This is the 3rd book in the Prentice Brothers series and I have loved them all. This one is especially special as it is full of Christmas spirit and joy. It such a magical time of year to find love.
Trey Prentice was a famous baseball star until he decides to retire and move back to his home town of Sweet Ridge. He takes over the local bookstore and sets out to show everyone how much he loves Christmas with his window display.
However his display ruffles someone’s feathers. That someone is Maggie.
Maggie is the towns Miss Christmas who decorates the towns windows every year. So when she sees her competition she isn’t happy.
However the attraction between her and Trey is so strong that despite the competition they find themselves drawn together. Will they fall in love and become the towns Mr and Miss Christmas or will their being competitive with each other ruin any chance of romance building.

A Merry Texan Christmas (Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge Book 3) by Nicole Flockton
The third and final Prentice brother is back home in Sweet Ridge, Texas after many years away. There is so much he has to do now that he’s home and around his family.
If you have read the first two in this series you know about the history with the Prentice Brothers. Trey is the missing piece in this family puzzle. He is so different from the boy who left Texas for baseball. Will the man find his way?
Maggie is everything I usually don’t like. Not much of a Christmas person and those happy Christmas people drive me insane normally. I loved Maggie. It could be my cynical heart has started to thaw after this crazy year or I’m desperate for happiness. Who knows, but I really enjoyed reading this book.
I got the impression that this is the final in this series, but would love to see more stories from this amazing small town in a State I love so much

These two are just the cutest! Their cute fights to their serious job issues. Trey had all around problems. From his family to his job then the girl he doesn’t have. He needs to work on a lot but he keeps irritating Miss Christmas with his window dressings. Maggie loves her jobs. Town librarian and she does the window dressings for Christmas…until pro baseball player, Trey, starts doing the window of his new business. These two have amazing push and pull.
One of my fav things in a book is that all important first kiss. I feel it sets the tone of the couple for the story. The first kiss between these two is amazing and give me tummy flutters. I think I read it a couple times.
Overall it’s a great Christmas time story plus the final book of the Prentice brothers. The story is fun and romantic. It has nice flow and the characters are good. It’s is nice to see his brothers and their fiancées.

I have loved each book that Nicole Flockton has brought to this series, and this one is no different. This is an amazing holiday romance read that puts you right in a cosy mood ready to sit back and thoroughly enjoy this read. This book has brilliant descriptions and it really captivates you and draws you into the story. It gives you all that you need from a great Romance book, the romance, the ups and downs, the banter and everything in-between! I loved following Trey & Maggie’s story from beginning to end and I know you will too! This is one not to be missed!

A Merry Texan Christmas (The Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge Book 3) by Nicole Flockton is a fun and sweet contemporary romance. This is the story of the eldest and last Prentice brother, Trey. Returning to his home town he suddenly (unbeknownst to him) finds himself pitted against the town Christmas queen and the fun begins. Assumptions are made by both characters and the tug of war begins and ends up not at all how they assumed it would once they unwrap each other layer by layer to see the true person.
