A Merry Texan Christmas (The Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge Book 3) by Nicole Flockton – Review by Lianne Probert

A Merry Texan Christmas (Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge, #3)A Merry Texan Christmas by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A Merry Texan Christmas is book 3 in the Prentice Brothers series by Nicole Flockton. I am yet to read the other books in this series (although I will definitely put them on my ‘to read’ list now), but this book can be enjoyed as a standalone read.
Maggie Watson is a librarian in a little town in Texas, the type of place where everyone knows your business and your neighbours are your friends. I always love books that have that small town feel, full of characters not just people.
Trey Prentice is a former baseball star who is now back in his hometown and running the local bookstore. He bonds with Maggie over their enjoyment of Christmas lights and decorations, and when the mayor calls upon ‘Mr and Mrs Christmas’ to join forces they soon become more than friends.
This is a lovely Christmas read, and the perfect way to spend your afternoon if you’re looking for a feel good read. The characters are a joy to read, and really bring the story to life.
