After Hurricane Nina, Rand’s Resolution (Hot Hunks-Steamy Romance Collection) By Tamara Ferguson. This author always grabs my attention and this time was no different. From start to finish I was rooted to my seat. I love an author that can take a not especially long story and give readers every they could want and things we don’t even know we want. There’s plenty of twists I didn’t see coming and I loved it. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Characters are complex and relatable. It’s told in dual POV which is kind of a favorite of mine because we get a much fuller picture of all things happening. If you’re looking for a great story that keeps you glued to your chair this is it! Five stars all the way and I highly recommend it.

This is part of the Hot Hunks Steamy Romance Collection. Each book can be read as a stand-alone. This is the love story between Rand and Ciara. The story takes place in Bali where two old friends cross paths again. They met 15 years prior, each going their separate ways to make a career in the military. Meeting again in Bali, the spark that started when they were young, ignited into an inferno. There is a side story with Rand trying to catch some terrorists which added some suspense to the story and the hurricane which added some danger.
Though it is a short novel, it is well written and interesting. It grabbed my attention fairly quickly and kept it throughout the end with the suspense. It is an intriguing yet sweet romance.

After Hurricane Nina, Rand’s Resolution , is action packed and romantic. Main characters Rand and Ciara meet as kids briefly and are reunited later in life. Rand left a significant impact on the young Ciara that led her to the path she is currently on. Both are high ranking members in the service. Rand has been under cover for several years and has developed the persona of a trust fund lazy millionaire to hide what he is doing. Truly being a trust fund recipient from his grandparents who raised him, he really is pretty active in many things. Ciara has a feeling there is more to him and try’s to figure it out. She has an interesting background herself and was an easy female lead to love. I love how the two worked together to rescue and help people after the hurricane. They had amazing personalities. I also felt that the storyline was easy to follow and full of excitement. Their romance was beautiful to watch as it blossomed. The ending was definitely my favorite part and I highly recommend this novel.

While this may be a quick read, it sure packs it all on there! Another fantastic read by this author, she has me flipping pages faster and faster every time.
Rand was raised by his grandparents and was never good enough in his dads eyes, no matter what he did. When he met Ciara he was just drawn to her, and bestowed some wisdom to her. When they meet in an unexpected place years later, that’s when things get interesting. I loved this book, and everything written by this author, i can’t wait to read more in the future!

And that, my friends, is the basis for Ferguson’s Dragonfly Pointe magic! Love IS enough!
Ferguson’s writing style keeps you turning the pages, keeps you guessing for that happily ever after. You might expect the happy ending in her books but the broken road to get there is the beautiful journey of Ferguson’s words!
I really liked this story. I love how each story refers to the Wounded Warrior center in Crystal Rock and uses the center as a base where eventually every one works or recovers.
Ferguson’s stories can be read as stand alones and I recommend you pick this one up.

This one is written by Tamara Ferguson. I love her work, and am a big fan, so I obviously loved this book too. This is Rand’s story following Hurricane Nina hitting Bali Indonesia. He is working for the U.S. Embassy while living in Bali, under the cover story of living off his inheritance. He met Ciara when he was a teenager, and fate seems to have brought them together in Bali years later, while she is on vacation with friends. They instantly hit it off again and end up working together to rescue people after the hurricane hits. I love that all of Ferguson’s books seem to center around soldiers or wounded warriors, and all have a tie to the Dragonfly Inn. While each book is a stand alone novel, the characters overlap and build on each other. Highly recommend this book, and any of her work to others!

After Hurricane Nina, Rand’s Resolution is the first book in the Hot Hunks-Steamy Romance Collection written by Tamara Ferguson was awesome. This isn’t the first book that I have read by this author and it won’t be the last. The characters are well developed and amazing for what they have seen and done. The storyline was amazing we had romance, love, intrigue, espionage. We also get to see a few of our people from Drangonfly. Ciara and Rand knew each other as teens. Now both adults Rand has a reputation as a trust fund playboy. But everything isn’t what it seems with him he living in Bali and working for some covert work. Ciara made her dream come true. All these years later they meet up in Bali while Ciara is on vacation. They get to reconnect and see where this connection they feel towards each other goes. Now they face a tropical storm and in the midst of that a terrorist bombing plot is exposed. They want a future together but, Rand just found out he is on a ISIS hit list and has to leave. What does the future hold for this couple? Can they overcome this dilemma and have a happily ever after? You will need to read this book in order to find out. I highly recommend this book…. Well this story is lovely. I really loved meeting Rand and Ciara. They are two people who make you feel “love” is real. Their insta-attraction draws you in but the intensity of it is what keep you reading more and more. This is not only a romantic story but it is filled with danger and the lovely Bali. I enjoyed this story and the characters. Even the secondary ones were fun and interesting. Making me wonder about their stories…Nick and Emma..I’m talking to you!
This is a love story between Rand and Ciara. They originally met when they were kids after Rand protected her from bullies.
Fast forward to them being adults, both work in the Airforce however Rands job is a bit more secretive. They meet up again in Bali and fall madly in love.
Its a nice story full of romance and some advertures as their professional careers mess with their personal lives. Definately worth a read.

I have read every single one of Tamara’s book so I was very happy to discover another one of her Crystal Rock/Dragonfly Pointe stories! I promise you that you will fall in love with her writing and will go looking for the other stories in the Crystal Rock universe! After Hurricane Nina, Rand’s Resolution is filled with suspense, action, secrets, intrigue, terrorists, tension, chemistry … and romance! We meet Rand and Ciara who met on a beach in Crystal Rock when they were 15 and 13 years old respectively. Thirteen years passes before they meet again, on Bali… on the surface Rand seems to be the opposite of what Ciara remembers, the reality is something completely different! The sparks fly, the passion ignites, the storms hit and the bombs blow … It is a very quick read and if you have read her other books, you get even more pleasure out it! Of course you could say that it is a too simple of a story as it all feels so predictable but I would say why not! Sometimes we need something simple and sweet with a little bit of a twist on top of it! I cannot wait for the next story in her Crystal Rock universe and it seems that we are getting Emma and Nick next, yey!

This is a short read but full of suspense, romance, and twists. This is not my first book that I have read by this author and it definitely won’t be my last. This author writes with exceptional detail and always pulls me in from the beginning and this book was the same. I was captivated throughout the entire book. At times I was reading faster so I could find out what was going to happen next. The chemistry between Rand and Ciara could be felt jumping off the pages, but this book had so much more than romance. I found myself so intrigued with this story that I am definitely going to read the other books in this collection. I highly recommend this story, it is a definite must read.
Holy wow ya’ll this book took me by ‘storm’! I adore Tamara Ferguson and the sweet romances that she writes so it was a no-brainer for me when it came across my feed and I one-clicked this book on the spot. I do think this was a tad bit of a step outside the box for Tamara a titch and I LOVED it. Rand’s Resolution is one part of an eight part series from a collection of authors that have come together to give one massive collection of steamy books. As soon as I found out that this was part of a series I ran and one-clicked all the rest of them. No worries if you haven’t though, this can be read as a standalone and all about Rand and Ciara. Theirs is one you won’t want to miss!

I’ve given up on counting how many of this authors books I have already read, I’m slowly but surely making my way through all of them and will continue with anything and everything this author comes out with.
This one just might have edged out all the rest for me, I’m not sure exactly what it was but this one grabbed a hold really quick and I finished it in one sitting. I think one of my favorite things about this author is how she continually revisits places and brings back those that I have loved from other books.
This one seemed to have a few more twists and turns then normal and Im a sucker for being caught off guard, and I love the meeting when they were younger and then seeing each other again many years later. I can not recommend this book enough and I will at some point read the others in this collection as I love the whole concept of this story and love finding new authors.
Love this book, and as always love this author, it always kind of feels like coming home when I read her stories.

Not my first read by this author, I was excited to get my hands on it, I was not disappointed. Well written and easy to read, I fell right into this book, and I didn’t want to leave.
Coming in at 175 pages this isn’t an overall long read, but it though it was short it managed to dig its claws into you. Told in dual POV we get both sides of the story. I like knowing what each was thinking, and seeing the way Cara changed her mind about Rand was intriguing and realistic. Just goes show, that you should make your own observations before forming an impression on someone. The serendipitous meeting was a nice touch, and it just makes you root for them all the same. I have to warn you though this book start out sweet there is a turn, dark, tragic, and a little suspenseful. When I say this little read packs a punch, it does.
Overall this book is a soil read, and it gets my super high recommendation and my stamp pf approval.
Ferguson continues to be a must read author and this latest endeavor further reinforces my opinion. The characters are richly detailed and relatable. The plot flows seamlessly. As with her other books, I immediately felt connected and invested with the characters and couldn’t put the book down until I finished. Wonderful book.

This can be read as a standalone and you will not feel like you are missing key information. This book is about Rand. He has a reputation as a trust fund playboy. Now he is living in Bali and working for some covert work. Ciara has arrived and remembers Rand from their teen years. She cannot believe he has changed as much as she has heard. I like the characters of Rand and Ciara. Both are interesting and I like the military backgrounds of both. I have read this author before and like her storytelling ability and how the stories always have a good flow. This book was no different. Everything is not always an easy, cheesy rom-com but with an actual plot and substance to the characters and story. I will be looking for more from this author in the future.

I enjoy reading Tamara’s work and I know she will never let me down. In Rand’s story we see two military people who run into each other in Bali and realise that they first met as teenagers, at a place called Crystal Rock and fate had a hand in bringing them back together. We know from Tamara’s other series that anyone who kisses at Crystal Rock is fated to be, but will Rand’s job keep them apart?
The other authors in this unique collection have written their own story about a different super sexy man, eight in all, who realise that their lives need to change. Each one is hot and steamy and the main characters range from Military to Rock stars and everything in between.

I love how the author developed the relationship between Rand and CeeCee. She is a very tough character and I like how the author portrayed her. Rand is pretty awesome as well. You could see the dynamics of their relationship through the hole story. The author has given us a great series of books to read. Everyone is great alone but even better together. You can piece together the stories and find common ground. It’s really crazy that people actually live this way. I hate that feeling of being watched so I would be freaking out if I did this work. You have to look behind you all the time. You never know when they will strike. I liked that CeeCee didn’t give up. She kept her faith in Rand through it all.
This author is a one-click author for me, no questions asked. I wasn’t sure if this was a whole collection of stories in one book or how it all worked out, but I didn’t care. Turns out this is a really cool concept. EIGHT different books written by EIGHT different authors all with one common thread. All stand-alones.
RAND’S RESOLUTION is classic Tamara Ferguson. It has all the elements that I have come to enjoy in her stories. Meet-cute, reunion, a bit of drama and suspense, romance, great dialog and a quick pace.
This is one of those stories that I was able to rip through in no time and enjoyed from beginning to end.
I loved this book! Rand and Clara’s story is well written and engaging. They are connectable, true to life and made the story come alive for me. They crossed each other’s paths growing up only to cross their paths once more when Clara went on vacation to Bali. What will fate have in mind for these two? What will happen when their two world collide? I found myself hoping they would get their HEA, they have such great chemistry together. One of my favorite by this author yet, a must read.

The book was so easy to read because the author has created such great, loveable characters. I really enjoy books that involved two people meeting years later and rediscovering things about each other. This book was engaging and at times intriguing and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Rand’s Resolution by Tamara Ferguson is part of the After Hurricane Nina Series: (Hot Hunks- Steamy Romance collection). It is a fantastic contemporary romance, with plenty of action, adventure, drama, danger, secrets, intrigue, terrorists, suspense, tension, chemistry, spice, and wonderful characters. As I have said before, Ms. Ferguson is one of my ‘one-click- no questions asked’ authors- as I know that she will always deliver a story that will captivate and entertain me. They are stories that I can lose myself in (in a very good way)- becoming part of the story as everything unfolds around me- and this story was no exception. This became quite an intriguing and suspenseful read, and as the story progressed, I found myself reading as fast as I could, completely under her spell, flipping the pages to discover what would happen next. Rand and Ciara have a history, meeting on the beach as teenagers (he was 15 and she was 13). Now, 13 years later they will run into each other again on Bali. He’s got a reputation of being a player and living quite the luxurious lifestyle after inheriting some money. She’s an Air Force Lieutenant holidaying on the Island with her friends. There is recognition, and chemistry- and soon sparks begin to ignite. But we soon learn that not everything is as it seems and there is much more going on than first appears. Danger threatens, and lives are put on the line. And so comes Rand’s Resolution. This is a very quick and easy read, with a great pace and a smooth flow. I devoured it in less than two hours. I love Ms. Ferguson’s attention to detail and all the interconnected elements she adds to her stories. While some aspects of her stories can be a little predictable, such as a guaranteed wonderful romance and engrossing, well written story- but then she always adds little twists or surprises that add an unpredictability and keep me guessing. This book is part of a series- a collaboration by eight talented authors who each contributed an original, standalone story about a life changing moment which leads to a resolution that ultimately leads to love. I enjoyed this book so much, of course I wouldn’t expect anything less from Ms. Ferguson- but the premise behind this collection really intrigued me into wanting to discover what the other stories contained, too- so I went on a one-click frenzy and brought them all to explore asap. Looking forward to whatever Ms. Ferguson does next.

It pulled me in from the very beginning and I found myself not wanting to put it down until I had finished the last page. I loved reading about the characters of Ciara and Rand. They face a tropical storm and in the midst of that a terrorist bombing plot is exposed. There is an attraction between them that can’t be denied. He wants a future with her. He finds himself on an ISIS hit list. What does the future hold for Ciara and Rand? Read this book to find out. I grew to care about Ciara and Rand with each chapter that I read. I wanted them to find happiness. There are moments that I wondered what was going to happen next. There are other times when you can feel the romance between Rand and Ciara. There are additional characters that are introduced and I enjoyed reading about them and the interactions they have with Rand and Ciara. Don’t miss out on a wonderful story that has amazing characters. I highly recommend reading it.
Another fantastic 5 star read from this author and not that I expected anything less – I absolutely adore her stories and every single one never fails to captivate me from beginning to end. This book is part of an 8 book collection by different authors but can be read as a standalone. I really was hooked into this story straight away; the way in which the author had written it had me turning the pages faster than I could. I connected with the characters straight away, I could feel everything that they could, it really felt like I was there living the story with them. Even though the other books in the series aren’t by this author I would absolutely love to read them also and I think that if you are a fan of Tamara Ferguson then you will in no way be disappointed with this new release from her.
