This is the first book I’ve read by MacDonald. MacDonald knows how to keep readers entertained and coming back to read more. I’ve got to say Tears of Boabdil is an amazing first read.

This is the first book I’ve read by Lynn. It won’t be my last. The Untold Stories Series is a Fairytale retelling of Captain Hook and Little Mermaid. Can be read as a stand alone.
Captain James Hook is looking to revenge the death of his son. Tinker Bell becomes his fairy friend while Red becomes his wolf buddy. Peter needs to taken care of, but will a mermaid change his mind. This is another great read by Holmes. She writes Historical Fiction and knows how to keep the readers coming back. Book Four of the Empire at Twilight Series, but can be read as a standalone.

Professor Valentine: A Student-Teacher Contemporary Romance Novella (Kirk University #1) by Diana Vale
This is the first book by Vale I’ve read but it won’t be my last. Vale knows what she’s doing and keeps readers interested in the book. Professor Valentine is a great start to a new series.
Cassie is a freshman at Kirk University and is trying to accomplish her dreams. She wants to work in child psychology and is working her way to it. Her Professor is not the old type, but younger and hot. The quote I chose for Cassie is: “Nah, I’m still recovering from last night.”
Diego Valentine is the youngest professor to date and he is hot. When one student catches his eye things change. He does what isn’t allowed and loves every moment of it. Cassie is the best student and a great person. The quote I chose for Diego is: “Don’t mention it. The staff do have cleaners. I just told them that one of my students was a little sick. Don’t worry, I didn’t say who.”

This isn’t the first book I’ve read by Nemechek. Nemechek knows how to keep readers coming back to read her work. Short, sweet, and funny.

Strings Attached: A Braebeach Rock Romance by Loriana Cappello
This is the first book I’ve read by Cappello and I must say this is a great introduction to a new author to me. She had me hanging on the edge of my seat the entire time. It really felt like I was sitting right there watching it all happen.
Calla thought Ash didn’t notice her, but she never thought that an accident could cause them to become close. After sitting there and listening to him play she realizes he’s the one. The quote I chose for Calla is: “Jesus, I didn’t have a clue. Like I said, one minute we were good friends, at least, I thought we were. Best of My Love (Love in Emerald Creek #1) by N.D. Jackson
This isn’t the first book by Jackson I’ve read and it won’t be my last. Jackson is a fantastic author and Best of My Love is a great book. The characters had me laughing and crying.
Andrea aka Dre is amazing with computers. Has been since she was little. When her mom passed away things went downhill when her dad didn’t show up. When he finally came home things really changed. Dre never expected to be back in her hometown, but when she comes home her ex comes back into her life. The quote I chose for Dre is: “A little understanding? I put my life on hold to come help you Shayna. I’d say that’s pretty damn understanding. I’m helping out the best I can and you’re bitching because you have to miss one soccer game! Christ if it’s so important come and watch from the car.”
Erick messed up big time in the past and now he’s got a beautiful little girl due to the situation. He didn’t think Dre would come home and when she does he isn’t sure what to do. Erick keeps messing up, but he wins her back after all. The quote I chose for Erick is: “What don’t we have to talk about? You never used to avoid confrontation.”

Another fantastic read by Amy McKinley. She certainly knows what to do to bring the readers back. Twisted Secrets is a great book, but Bound by Secrets is amazing. Can be read as a standalone.

This is the third book by McKinley that I’ve read. I thought Dom and Mason had hot stories. Mindy knows what to do to draw readers back. I really hope this isn’t the last time we see the characters.
Sebastian is known for his jazz music. For his band and of course his last name. He doesn’t think he’ll meet his match like his brothers. Going in to do something new changes his thoughts. The quote I chose for Sebastian is: “Are you sure you’re alright? There’s quite a lump. Is there someone I can call? I could take you to the ER.”
Maelie is a music teacher and loves her violin. When she meets Sebastian she doesn’t know what to think. As she gets to know him the more of a decent person he seems to be. Adams has made my heart break with this story. Learning to Live is an amazing tear-jerker. It’s a great read and I can’t wait for the next one.
Ciera is in her senior year and has a brain mass. No one outside her mom knows she’s dying. Oregon is the one state where she can assist suicide. She’s chosen a date and falls in love. Topher is the jock popular guy who picks on others. When he finds that his girlfriend is sneaking around with his best friend things change. He knows Ciera and he’s picked on her. This is the first book I’ve read by Wade. It won’t be my last and I’ll definitely be looking into the other books. Gunner is a fantastic way to start off a new author.
Lacey was once upon a time a model, but now she’s a designer. She is missing Gunner, who saved her at her friend’s wedding. When she runs into Gunner then things change for the best. The quote I chose for Lacey is: “I’m so sorry I blamed you. You’ve been shoved into untenable positions and done your best to keep everyone safe with no thanks and no support. You’re a good man, Gunner Ramberg, and I truly hope you can forgive me because I love the bones of you. Every single part of you has won over my heart and it belongs to you now.”
Gunner has nothing left. Or so he thinks. Running into Lacey is, what he thinks, the worst thing to happen to him. When she’s threatened he changes and sees her for what she is. The quote I chose for Gunner is: “I’m sorry, Pax. I’m so damn sorry for what I allowed to happen.”

This is the second book I’ve read by Mindy. I thought Dom’s story was good, but darn if Mason didn’t pull me in. This is the second book of the Adams Brothers Series.

When her ex-husband shows up it threatens everything she wants. The quote I chose for Gabi is: Okay, yes, he’s hot. Those shoulders alone make my knees feel funny. He really should be a model or an actor, not stuck behind a lathe all day long.”
Mason is the middle boy of the Adams boys. With his oldest brother’s wedding coming up he isn’t sure what he wants. When Gabi enters AdamsMade for the first time he knows he wants her. Things go from great to worse in a matter of seconds. The quote I chose for Mason is: “I still can’t get used to you like this, and for the record, f*ik that. I don’t need to be tied down for any reason. The business keeps me busy at all hours, and at the end of the day, all I really need is a good f**k.”

Another great read by Mellett. She knows how to keep her readers coming back to her books. Stormy’s Thunder is a great book.
Cat meets Stormy when he’s on the run from the club. She doesn’t know he’s in a club until she sees his tat. The quote I chose for Cat is: “You’re the good guys? But isn’t that like the FBI or something?”
Stormy is a Utah Member of Satan’s Devils and he’s been on the run. He took something from the San Diego Chapter when shooting someone. Road Tripped (Satan’s Devils MC Utah Book 1) by Manda Mellett
The third book I’ve read by Mellett and I’ve got to say her series just keep getting better and better.
Road is heading out to the Utah chapter of Satan’s Devils unannounced. He is there to find some things out. When he gets there things aren’t quite like they seem. The quote I chose for Road is: “I’ve not heard anything from you. I don’t know what makes you tick. I got disrespected on my arrival starting with the prospect, Gears. Have I seen anything I like here? Have I learned sh** about you to be able to say I’d lay down my life for the club ? Like f**k. Right now, I’m feeling the opposite.”
Swift is the only female in the Utah Chapter. They’ve got some things they’d like to keep on the DL. When Road shows up Swift gets more than she bargained for. The quote I chose for Swift is: “If you want someone to partner up with Road to see what he’s made of, then I’m up for it.”

Askew Ever After: A Limited Edition Romance Collection (Paper Love by Aubrey Wynne)
This is the first book I’ve read by Wynne. It definitely won’t be my last. Wynne is an amazing author and I can’t wait for the next one.

Twisted Secrets (Deadly Isles Special Ops #1) by Amy McKinley
I’ve read several books by McKinley. This one is better than the last, but then again I say that about all her books. If you love romance with a hint of danger then this is your book.
Riley is a grad student who works at a coffee shop. She is dating her advisor, but things go south when she finds out a secret. She then finds herself attracted to Seal. The quote I chose for Riley is: “Since my stomach seems to be eating itself, that’s probably a good idea.”
Xander is injured and when he’s released he’s mad. He finds something out and is trying to piece together the last mission. His gut is telling him something wasn’t quite right. He meets Riley and things change drastically. The quote I chose for Xander is: “I’ve got it. If you can take my bag, we’re good to go.”
Heartbeats and Roses: A Small Town Valentine’s Day Romance (A Hartwood Holiday Romance) by Jae Dawson
Another great read by Dawson. Hartwood really sounds like a magical place. I highly recommend this for romance lovers.
Rose is a flower shop owner in Hartwood. She is missing a certain someone. When her landlord tells her that he has a guest coming. The said guest arrives and it throws Rose off her game. The quote I chose for Rose is: “I survived losing you once, and I think I can do it again. But if you were ever my friend, if you ever cared for me, you will do this for me now. Make peace with Mae.
