This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Revenge Honeymoon was a funny little read. Going on a friend’s honeymoon because an ex leaves her would be fun. I got to live that experience by reading this.
Emily is on a cruise with her best friend. Not just any cruise. A Honeymoon Cruise. Newly wed couples. Now Emily is stuck pretending to be Ruby’s wife. This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. Dream-Shifter is the first multi chapter book that I’ve had the chance to read by the author. My daughter absolutely loved this book.
Gwendolyn is the one who dresses like the olden days. She likes to be old fashioned, but she didn’t expect to be a dream shifter. She bugs Wally and lets him know what is going on. The quote I chose for Gwendolyn is: “Let’s start with you telling me the whole process from the beginning. What happens when someone dies?”
This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. The Rom Com Movie Club is amazing. The book had me hooked from the beginning and I loved it. I never want the love for Ryan and Lisa to stop.
Lisa has been in several foster homes and no one has really stuck by her side. Her friends are the only ones she can really count on. Then her friend’s soon to be brother-in-law comes walking into her condo. Things start to escalate from there, but then she gets hurt. She isn’t allowed to see him anymore. The quote I chose for Lisa is: “I’m not creeped out. Aaron is a stellar guy, or we wouldn’t be letting Tina marry him. I’m going to give you credit for being a stellar guy too, since you share genes with him. But, if you prove me wrong, I’ll wreck their marriage.”
Ryan is back home and he isn’t sure what he’s going to do. When he meets Lisa he decides that he wants to befriend her. He then finds that he can’t keep away from her. This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. The Final Bite is a short little read and won’t take much time out of the day. I enjoyed the read and if you don’t like male and male then this isn’t for you.

Lucas the Spy Cat: A Children’s Mystery Adventure with Creativity & Imagination Boosting Activities (Jake the Growling Dog) by Samantha Shannon
This is the first book I’ve read by the author. My daughter absolutely loved this book. Any book about animals always catch her attention. Lucas the Spy Cat is part of the Jake the Growling Dog Series.
Lucas’s owners decide to put a spy camera on his collar to see what he gets up to at night. They make up all kinds of situations their cat may get into. There wasn’t a quote I could choose for anyone, but I can say that they get surprised at the end.

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Raine Down is the first book in The Shadow Guardians Series. This book was fun to read and it was hard putting it down. I will definitely be looking for the next book.
Raine almost has a suspect when an FBI agent gets in the way. She gets hurt in the process. Now she has to answer questions. She finds that she could be with him if she were fully human. This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. Devlin is a great read. Office romances have always held a place in my heart, but this book makes the top of my list.

Hot for Teacher: Shakespeare Made Us Fall in Love by Felicia Carparelli
This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Hot for Teacher is a short, steamy read. A modern day twist on Romeo and Juliet. I love that the teacher’s name is Juliet.
Juliet teaches college courses and finds that she’s got herself a Pirate Romeo. When a former student corners her one night her Romeo comes to the rescue. She finds herself in a dangerous situation. Then she finds that she’s falling for Jim. The quote I chose for Juliet is: “For Thursday night, please read the next twenty-eight pages , that will take us up through the wedding of Romeo and Juliet and the fight between the Montagues and the Capulets resulting in Tybalt and Mercutio’s deaths. I have a question sheet for you to take home tonight. It will help you with your reading.”
Jim is a ex Marine and his sons said he needs to get out and about. He decides that a college class about Shakespeare will be a good fit. This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. I’ve read every single book in the Mafia Elite Series. Defiant Princess is the very first book in the series. I loved this book and can’t wait for more.
Liliana is the daughter of the five families. When she finds out that her friend is engaged to someone they can’t trust she gets a sick feeling in her stomach. Can she and her other friends save Marissa? The quote I chose for Liliana is: “That might change. At least you have friendship to use as a base.”
Emiliana is doing a little better after everything, but she doesn’t feel right about any of this. Her and her friends want to save Marissa but they don’t know how. This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. A Crossbow Christmas is a fun little read. It seems to hit home for the Covid pandemic. It talks about the loss of family members and friends.

When she and her husband get Covid they are hit rough. Then she is told that she needs to get away without her husband. This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. The Brass Compass is the first book in the Cold War Series. The author captured my attention from the beginning. It was a hard book to put down and I really didn’t want it to end.
Lily wants to go home to the states, but it’s not in the cards for her just yet. She finds that being a spy is a dangerous job. She also learns that some things are meant to be. This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. Dia’s Lure is the third book in the Solstice Quartet Series. This book captured me from the get-go. I had a hard time choosing quotes for everyone. Dia and her friends are amazing.
Dia aka Dane is hiding out from hunters. She is traveling with a Samaritan Group which helps people out. When an explosion happens and she is thrown out of the vehicle, she runs. Then she’s found by others hiding out. Her ex shows up and she finds herself falling for the one who saved her. The quote I chose for Dia is: “You’ll have to try hard, dingo. This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Ember’s Secret is a great read and an easy one at that. The next book is something I’m looking forward to.

This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. Order of Vespers is the first book in The Vespers Chronicles Series. I’ve read the third book in the series so they can be read as standalones. This book was very entertaining and I didn’t want it to end.
Jasper has a power where she can explode like a bomb. Her family has powers as well. Her twin can manipulate the wind. Her sister could mess with memories. When they are killed she runs. Then she’s found by the Order. The quote I chose for Jasper is: “Dying is not on my agenda, so cross your fingers and hope I’m wrong. But… I wish you a long and happy life. You deserve it. Thank you for everything.”
Jordy is the human side of Jordan, but they’re one in the same. He doesn’t expect to find himself falling for the new girl. Things go south when she loses control and he doesn’t speak to her for a while. When he finds that someone he thought he could trust is going to hurt Jasper he jumps into action. This is the first book I’ve read by the author. This book was a short, fast read. A happy ending at that. Finding Bryce is the first book in the Green Brotherhood: SEAL Team XII Series.
Pippa decides to go to a Halloween party with her friend. She gets a call saying her ex-husband is in prison. When she gets to the party she finds that she can’t talk to any of the guys. Then she meets her gladiator and has a lovely night. Nine months later her son was born. The quote I chose for Pippa is: “I mean, he seemed like the kind of guy you could introduce to your parents and might want to marry. I really liked him. And there was something magical about our lovemaking.”
Tanner is a SEAL member and is gone a lot. When he and a bunch of friends are in town they all decide to go to the Halloween party. There he meets Pippa, or fairy, and they make love. This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. The author has become a favorite of mine. I fell in love with the first book I read. Petty’s Crime is the third book in the Satan’s Devils MC Las Vegas Chapter.
Petty is a biker who has been keeping a secret. When his wife calls him up and wants to come home things go south. He’s got a job to do, but can he focus on the job? The quote I chose for Petty is: “F*** knows what I’m doing, Prez. But Brit and I can’t immediately jump into playing happy families. Getting out working? Well, time apart will give us a chance to learn about each other again without being smothering.”
RoseLyn is being stalked and threatened by her ex. She needs a bodyguard to protect her. She wants to walk away, but she can’t with her life on the line. The quote I chose for RoseLyn is: “F*** no. The Protector: A Brother’s Best Friend Romance (The Freemasons #4) by Nicole Flockton
This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. The author knows how to keep readers coming back. The Protector is the fourth book in The Freemasons Series. I absolutely loved Renee and Delcan.
Renee has been gone for three years. Being taken, held captive, and being forced to do things she normally wouldn’t. Once rescued she finds that everything has changed. She isn’t the same person anymore. She also wants more with Declan, but she is scared that she’s broken. The quote I chose for Renee is: “I’m tired of everyone looking at me like I’m about to break. Looking at me with pity. I know what I went through. I lived it. I don’t need their pity. I don’t need them to feel sorry for me because I got taken. I want them to look at me and see me.”
Declan is best friends with Jude and stays at a cottage near Renee when she’s rescued. He doesn’t want to leave her behind. He wants to be more than friends, but isn’t sure she’s ready. Can he protect her like he said he would? The quote I chose for Declan is: “Look at me, Ren. You did nothing wrong. You’re recovering from a traumatic event. There are always going to be things that will trigger what happened today. But I know you’ll work through those things. It’s going to take time.”

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Ice Dance is a lovely read and I look forward to more by the author. The book draws you in and keeps you hooked.

Yasmine isn’t exactly from this realm. In her realm she is a princess and she witnessed her father’s death. Now the one wanting to take over is chasing her. The quote I chose for Yasmine is: “Yes. The Dwarves’ Dilemma: A Science Folktale (Science Folktales) by Lois Wickstrom
This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. The Dwarves’ Dilemma is a Science Folktales novel. This author sure knows how to keep kids entertained and my daughter can’t wait for the next book.
The Queen is fair and she tries to do what is best for everyone in her kingdom. When the Dwarves come in and they are fighting. She finds that her mirror no longer shows the fairness sparkle in her eye. The quote I chose for the Queen is: “The problem was my mistake, not yours. From now on, I will pay all my servants.”
This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. Pardon Me, Please is a fantastic read for families. This book was short and sweet. The author has a way with words.
A family goes to a Turkey farm to get their Thanksgiving dinner. When they get there they find that the President has pardoned his turkey. The little girl wants to know if they can do the same. I couldn’t choose a quote for any of the characters.
This is the first book I’ve read by the author. The Perfect Mrs. Claus is a great Christmas time read. It does show that the second Halloween is over with Christmas starts coming into the stores.
Matthew is the director of the holiday sections at a local hardware store. He sees a woman who could be the perfect fit for Mrs. Claus. When he goes to introduce himself he falls on her. The quote I chose for Matthew is: “Oh, it’s not a pickup line or anything like that. It’s a proposal, a job proposal I have for you, if you are interested, and I hope you are.”
Savannah has been to the hardware store several times. From her childhood to that of her son’s childhood. With her son living somewhere else and her husband dead she finds that she’s in a rut. The quote I chose for Savannah is: “Mr. Buck, I’m a woman in my early fifties, and I have no problem letting the world know that’s what I am. Age is a gift not given to many, or something like that. I don’t look back and wish I was younger. I look forward to everything that’s yet to come—my son getting married, giving me a grandchild or two, and retiring to my namesake city. I try to look forward, not to look back. So go on. Why me?”

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. The Sacrifice is the first book in the Dragonpets Series. This book took me a couple hours to read. The author sure knows how to capture the reader’s attention.
Rilla is put out for a sacrifice. She is told that she’s going to die by the dragon. When the dragon gets there she finds that she can hear the dragon speak in her mind. As the time passes by she finds herself falling for the dragon. The quote I chose for Rilla is: “Vidar, are you all right? Can I help you in any way?”
Vidar is the dragon meant to get the cow. Only it isn’t a cow he gets, it’s a human. A beautiful, strong willed, and brave human woman. He marks her so she’s able to enter his home. Then he marks her as his wife. He’s a little shocked that she marks him. The quote I chose for Vidar is: “You’ve given me a dragon mark.”
Stumble & Fall (A Legacy of Silence Book #2) by Amy Rivers
This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Stumble and Fall is the second book in A Legacy of Silence Series. This story follows Kate and her sister Tilly. It’s a hard book to put down once you get into it.
Tilly is a nurse and is good at her job. She is back in New Mexico and the feelings are back as well. She isn’t sure what is going on with her, but she knows that she has to do this. The quote I chose for Tilly is: “Fair enough. It’s a small world after all. We’d better get back to the clinic.”
Kate is still living in the town she was born in. She bought a house and will be starting her own business. In her want to help girls she may be putting them and herself in danger. The quote I chose for Kate is: “I feel like I’m running on adrenaline. More likely caffeine. I haven’t been sleeping well, so I may have overcompensated this morning.”
