Another hit by one of my favorite authors! I love how in this series she has focused not only on the main members of the mafia but also some of the siblings, which is exactly what she has done in writing about Trey in this book. We met Trey in previous books, but I really enjoyed learning more about him and watching him find love in this book. As always, she has written the story of this couple beautifully, making it easy to see the connection between the two of them from the moment they meet. From what I can see, there isn’t a next book in the series, which makes me sad, so I really hope the series continues!

This is the sixth book of the Mafia Elite series. It Follows Trey and Haileys story and an interesting one at that. With him living two lives one as an amazing sweet doctor and the other as a member of the Mafia which he is not all too fond of since it cost him his first love. Now he has to use those connections to save Hailey from her kidnappers but being who he is, he knows there’s more going on than meets the eye. Will he fight the chemistry between them or give in. You have to read to find out and I highly recommend you do.

This was an OK book for me. Was it my favorite in the series? No. But I still like it. This was a second chance mafia romance that was sweet as well. You can read this book as a stand-alone, or as part of the series. You should give this book a try and see how you like it.

Born in Darkness is the third installment of the Mafia Elite Books. This one’s my favorite one yet😍. The story follows Emiliana and Stefano from their stolen kisses to their HEA. Also I thought Emiliana was strong before but after what happened to her she became more fierce and I love how Stefano is with Emiliana. Where can i find one 🤣I cannot stand Stefano father at all😡. This series has me so enthralled that I can’t put them down. I’m going to read the next one right now. I would highly suggest you read these books.

Stefano’s story was oh so good. This was a quick read for me, and I wish there was more, but it was still a good book. This series just seems to always have me wanting more with each book I read. I was lost in this story, and didn’t want it to end. I can’t wait til the next book.

Loved Enzo and Sofia’s story! This was a really good book the author did an amazing writing job on this one. This was an action-packed story that I didn’t want to end. Their connection from childhood until adults is hard to come by, but they were meant to be, and stood the test of time.
Yes!! Another alpha couple and I love it. The Blood oath is the second book in the Mafia Elite series. It was just as good as the first one. I enjoyed reading it. It follows Sofia and Enzo (love that name ever since vampire diaries🤣) on their emotional ride love story. I for one couldn’t put it down, finishing in one day. On to the next book. I now have to read all of them to see what happens with the other characters. P.S I loveeeee Katya she’s kick ass!

Another fantastic read by the author. Collateral Damage is the sixth book in the Mafia Elite Series. This time it’s Trey’s turn. Only this time she might not die.
Trey might just be getting his second chance at love. Hailey has done nothing wrong and she tugs at his heart. Will Trey be able to save her in time? The quote I chose for Trey is: “Be careful how you talk to me, Allen. You won’t like the repercussions. Make it happen with the board, and I’ll see what I can do about your daughter.”
Hailey goes to meet her dad, only she doesn’t call Allen her dad. She falls for Trey but can’t let it be known as she doesn’t want to get her heart broken. The quote I chose for Hayley is: “So you took on his crisis rather than tell him to shove it? He could have gone to the cops. I don’t understand why you got involved. It seems like this is more of a headache for you.”
Elena and Marco are back again in book 4 of the Mafia Elite series. They had that amazing instant connection that makes every woman jealous. Again, this is book 4 in the Mafia Elite Series and Ms. Amy McKinley did not disappoint. The characters are amazing and very well written. The storyline is phenomenal as always. The author has a way with her words that causes the story to come to life right before my eyes, I read the entire book in one sitting, only stopping when necessary. I’m excited to read the next book in the series.
This is book 5 of the Mafia Elite series. I highly recommend reading the other books in the series first as you would be confused if the books were read out of orders and some things would also be spoiled. This book focuses on the relationship between Luc and Summer. I enjoyed summer’s strength and her ability to stand on her own two feet despite life throws many curb balls at her. I also enjoyed Luc’s character arc and seeing him grow from self-made businessman into a mafia heir who has a family and is one of five families who run the Chicago mob scene. I’m excited to see what the author has in store for this storyline in the near future.
Elena grew up as a princess to the Chicago Mafia, a member of the Five Families. She was adopted by Nicole Caruso, wife of the head of the Caruso family after her mother was murdered by the Bratva, and another attempt was made as she grew, leading to the death of another one of the Five Families kids. As an adopted kid, she always felt a little…less than the rest of them, despite her strong relationship with her mama and friendships with the other daughters. As the families grew older, she was promised to marry Enzo. After another attempt on her life Elena decided to run and remove the target from her family and friends, leaving behind everything she knew. In an effort to keep them protected, she didn’t even search for information about them online, changed her name, continued to change her appearance and keep her skills sharp.
After she was located by the Bratva, Elena was lucky enough to get a warning and grabbed her go bag to run – just to find her childhood crush, Marco La Rosa at her door. Elena and Marco grew up together, but as they got older he began to distance himself from her and then thought she was dead when she disappeared and covered her tracks. He received word she was alive and came to bring her home himself, and was in time to save her life.
On the way back to Chicago, Elena learned she had a new brother running the family, some of the members of the families had been murdered, and that her new brother Max Caruso is the new head of the family and arranged a marriage for her to Marco. While she spent much of her life with feelings for Marco, she has no clue of his feelings for her or that this is anything other than a marriage of covenience. What she finds out is that he has loved her for a long time, drew away due to her arranged marriage to another of the families, and thought he had lost her once. Marco refuses to let her out of his sight or into danger again without him by her side.
This book has lots of action, and I love how much the women are included in decisions and how tough and capable they are! Elena thought she not only didn’t fit in exactly, but that everyone would hate her for lying to them and running away, but after 5 years away she has found how much she missed everyone and how much they’ve missed her. Being back in Chicago, she is able to spend time with Nicole again, learn about why the Bratva is so determined to find her, learn about the relationships amongst the new heads of the families and find her relationship with Marco. Neither wants a marriage with no love involved and make an effort to be open and honest with one another. After so much time lost, Marco and Elena are a real force to be reckoned with and have lost time to make up for.
As with the rest of the Mafia Elite series, I love the relationship and world building in this book. The passion is obvious, the action is exciting, the mystery is intriguing, there is lots of twists and turns. While these books are all great standalone stories, they’re even better when you read them all.
McKinley doesn’t disappoint with the fourth installment of this Mafia series. I got to find out about new characters Elena and Marco. This book has a lot of twists in it, and I was unable to put it down. I was glad to see answers from previous books, all while leaving it open to keep the story going. I am really loving this series. It is interesting how each of these characters find true love. These men love these women and will lay their lives on keeping the save and that includes Elena and Marco. This book can stand alone but I would recommend reading the previous books to better understand the other characters. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
No Way Out by Amy McKinley is the first installment of the Mafia series. I really liked how the series started. This was a book that left opens for more stories to come. I hope the continue reads will answer the questions that are left unsaid in this book. I was surprised at how things twist in Max and Lil’s story, it made interesting to see what was going to happen next. I couldn’t put this book down once I got past the slow begin. I am ready to continue reading this series to find out what happens next with this character loaded book.

A great continuation to a great series! I was absolutely hooked on every word of every page. The author has put so much depth and character development into Luc and Summers story. Romance, Drama, Action and Suspense- the perfect combination written to perfection.
Elena and Marco have an interesting relationship. Elena returns and needs protection and Marco is quick to volunteer. Follow this couple as they face the startings and possible endings of war. They find out new things not only about each other but themselves as well. As we continue this journey things start to get a little crazy and this point I have no clue what’s gonna happen next but I’m excited. Amy is an amazing author and I am fully entrigued and obsessed with this series.

This book focuses on Stephano and Em the third couple on this crazy drive. I absolutely love how this book focuses on toxic families and how you can choose your family. As these books progress more of the storyline makes sense and you get glimpses of the entire picture so I highly recommend reading in order. I absolutely love this series and it should be on everyone’s TBR. Amy is an amazing author and I can wait to see what happens next.

This story focuses on Sofia and Enzo, however, our favorite characters from book one are all present. I absolutely loved how strong of a character Sofia while still keeping her femininity. They face many trials in this book and even with a HEA there is still many problems ahead of these characters leaving you with a cliffhanger that you can’t be mad at. The more Amy writes the better her books are and I can’t wait to see where this series goes.

I can’t decide which mafia princess I like more! Em is such a strong female. She has been through so much and Stefano had always been there for her and kept her safe. Enzo and Sofia’s story is so great. Their story together goes back to their childhood where Enzo took a blood oath to protect Sofia. They path to each other is not easy, Enzo just wants to protect her but she also has her own secrets putting her in danger. I was just pulled into the story. Blood Oath brought out a few new mysteries and story lines as well. Elena comes into the picture (since I didn’t read these in order I already know what happens, definitely keep reading the books!) It was nice to have her introduced. And who is the Rat? I have my suspicions :).

I did not start with this book for this series. It was a accident but I knew after reading Savage Secrets I had to come back and read the other ones! I am a complete sucker for a mafia romance and this one did not disappoint. Mac and Lil have such a great story. With out even knowing each other they knew the other was going to be hard to stay away from. Amy does an amazing job at balancing the romance, suspense, and action throughout her books! Can’t wait to move on to the next one!

Once again this author makes me want to stay in the story world she created! Hailey and Trey stole a piece of my heart and I’m pretty sure it’s lost forever, I wouldn’t want it any other way. They each brought this story to life in different ways and them together is just an all around good time. These can be read in any order but I honestly feel like in the written order is best for a better overall storyline experience. The characters are complex and relatable, they have also become some of my top favorites. This book and this author are 5 stars all the way and highly recommended!

This is the 6th book in the series and it did not disappoint. There wasn’t as much action as in pervious books in the series but don’t let that sway you from reading it because the twists and turns are there. This book is like walking through a haunted maze in the middle of the night with only the light on your phone. I was constantly sitting in the edge of my seat. I couldn’t get to the end of each page fast enough or turn to the next page even faster. The push and pull between the two characters in the book is a vibe in itself. I don’t normally go for the back and forth with characters. However, with this book I couldn’t get enough of it. I needed more banter and more jabs. It is so, so good. The friendship that builds between them makes it even better when they fall. This book is an easy to read, page turning, won’t want to put down, can’t sleep till it’s finished, and will leave you wanting more. Elena, with the help of some friends, faked her death to escape a psychopath in the Russian Mafia who was hellbent on ending her life. Having found some peace and a mostly humdrum existence in New Jersey for the past several years, her instincts kick in when Marco, her longtime crush turned somewhat enemy, shows up to take her back to Chicago. She’s not sure if she can trust him, but with the Russians on to her whereabouts, she doesn’t have much of a choice.
Marco, despite his own longtime crush on Elena, acted out against her during their teen years because she was already promised to another through an arranged marriage. With that contract null and void, and years having passed since she disappeared from his life, he’s more than willing to take on her safety as his own personal responsibility. The trouble will be convincing her that she can actually trust him and trying to win her over to make up for the attitude he gave her during their youth. If you’ve read previous books in the series, this book fills in more details about the story behind Elena’s disappearance, secrets from her past, her place in the Five Families, and her future. Don’t worry, though, if you haven’t previously read any of the other books in the series; you can literally start with any one of them and enjoy it as a standalone. But, be prepared to be sucked into the mafia world and wrapped up in the many characters that make up the series. One thing I love about the series is how you get introduced to most of the characters from the beginning, but then get to watch different stories from each of their lives unfold as you get further into the series. I’m totally hooked, and this addition is no exception.
Since the very start of this series I have been waiting for Trey to have his story told as he was a character I fell in love with early on even though we had only seen him a little bit and this definitely did not disappoint. While at times I don’t think it was as tense as previous books of the series I was still on the edge of my seat the whole time and so did not see a major twist that came our way coming. Not even a hint of the twist anywhere! That is a great author if you ask me. Trey and Hailey are so meant to be and these wonderful characters take us on a fun wild ride! I am totally addicted to this series and I can’t wait for more!!!! Do yourself a favour and read it now!
