Again the cover-art is just amazing ♥️ I’m even more excited to dive into this book than the previous one ! #truestory#

Anton is the golden boy , he has all his desires , fame , fortune , wealth , career and he’s at the top of his game both in career and life , he really does seem to have it all 🤷‍♀️

Elsa , comes from a wealthy family , blue blood if you like and it seems she’s won the heart of one our very delectable Titan men …

All is not as it seems and every fairytale has a villian or a dark side and our folks are no exception to the rule . Sometimes life has to bring us to our knees , to humble us to make us realise what we have , wake up and smell the roses grab life and love , live and love it , every day is a gift and should be treated as such .

This was a hard read for me and there were a few triggers that one should be aware of . It was a real and real read and I almost don’t want to share their story and all they’ve been through . I cried hard but loved even harder ❣️

Just the cover has me in goosebumps !

I just have this feeling I’m going to need a jar of ice chips and a fan for next week or so just to make sure I don’t overheat 😉🤦‍♀️😂🔥😱

So Caspian is the first brother I’m about to be acquainted with and he’s our typical bad boys , beautiful cars , beautiful woman and a life of luxury in general but he could loose this all if he doesn’t meet the requirements set by his uncle …..

Paisley , shame girl life just keeps throwing her curve balls , no roof over her head , no money , no work , a mother who is ill and medical costs are accumulating and funds are running out , she’s in real dire straits and beyond desperate , my heart just shatters for her …..

That’s ladies and gentlemen is where theirs paths cross … Desperation +convenience = chaos and drama 🎭🔥🤦‍♀️

What was convenient soon becomes very real and very inconvenient, as per the norm of matters of the heart 😉❣️

Don’t be fooled there’s more to Caspian than meets the eye and under all those layers is a man with heart ❤️ Paisley is a tough cookie and in my eyes I think they’re the perfect match .

Did I cry … yes …. Did I want to punch someone … yes …. Did I enjoy every page … YES !!!!

The end did leave me a little WTH 😱 you have been warned 😉

Victoriously Yours (Titans Of Manhattan #4)Victoriously Yours by Anise Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ms. Anise Storm is back again with the fourth book in the Titans of Manhattan series. She again had me on the edge of my seat excited in anticipation on what’s about to happen next. I was not able to put the book down long enough to do anything, I had to read the entire book in one sitting. She has quickly become one of my favorite authors.
Jonas Courtland is a hotel developer; he is one of the most notorious Titans. He’s more than content with his playboy reputation, and after watching various friends fall in love, he has no interest or desire to follow in their footsteps. His focus is on just two things:
– Add more properties to his portfolio
– Add more notches to his bedpost
He allowed himself to care about someone once before, and he has no plans to do it again.
Mackenzie Broderick is a preacher’s daughter, she allowed herself to be deceived by her high school’s biggest playboy and has suffered for it since. Years later, she lands an audition for a life-changing opportunity. To further her career in the culinary world, she only has to:
– Beat out her competition for a restaurant contract
– Not fall victim to her ex-boyfriend’s charms
When playing games, there’s always a winner and a loser, and each is intent on triumphing over the other. Neither is prepared for what comes next when old feelings resurface. Before they can even think about a happily ever after, secrets are revealed and the rules of engagement change. Who will emerge the ultimate victor?
I’m excited to read other books from the author in the near future.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ms. Storm is back again with the third book in the Titans of Manhattan, and she again did not disappoint. Her style writing is uniquely hers and hers alone. The way she has with her words makes you feel whatever her characters are feeling in the moment. This book is just as amazing as the last 2 books of this series were.
Mason Steele
As one of the city’s most eligible bachelors and owner of the hottest new nightclub in the city, Mason’s fame and fortune were amassed by following two cardinal rules:
Always keep sex casual
Never mix business with pleasure
Following the rules had never been a problem until he hires a new dancer who turns out to be a recent notch on his playboy bedpost. Drawn to her in a way he’d never been to anyone else, will he be able to keep her that way?
Rhyann Ward
After being awarded a ballet scholarship to an exclusive arts school, this Midwestern girl trades one Manhattan for another, moving from Kansas to New York, ready to follow her dreams with two goals in mind:
Maintain her scholarship
Land a spot in a world-wide production
Quickly learning it takes more than passion, Rhyann discovers she also needs money. Convinced by her roommate to pole dance at a local club, she realizes her new boss is none other than the man she’d had a one-night stand with.
Her life begins to unravel when she is pulled into a new and dangerous world. Lust, intrigue, seduction, and temptation have consequences. As the pieces begin to fall apart, his past and her future pull together to create something neither can resist.
I’m excited to see what the next book in the series is like. I look forward the reading more of her books in the near future.

Ms. Anise Storm is back again with the second book to the Titans of Manhattan Series. She has quickly become one of my favorited authors. She had me curled up in my bed with my bed reading this. I had to be far enough away from everyone to read this amazing book.
Anton Kingston was one of Hollywood’s biggest heartthrobs, he has everything he ever imagined. A career, fame, fortune; he is sought after worldwide, and at the height of his stardom. His personal life has also aligned, and he finally has the things he’s wanted for a lifetime.
Elsa Fitzgerald was raised in New York City’s high society, she has landed herself one of the Titans, and things couldn’t be better. Elsa is one of the most successful real estate agents in the entire city, and has the devotion of one of Hollywood’s leading men. All that’s missing is the two things she desires above all else.
Their love story is one for the ages, or so she thought. Just when it seems as if everything she’s ever wanted is within reach, tragedy strikes and threatens to tear it all away. As their fairytale starts to unravel, choices have to be made. There are consequences when chasing perfection. Will they be able to live imperfectly ever after? Or will their choices destroy those dreams forever?
I’m excited to see how she continues this series with the next book.

This is the first book in the Titans od Manhattan series by the author Anise Storm. Conveniently, this is the first book that I have read from this author, and I was not disappointed. The authors style of writing is very unique and interesting. She was able to transport me into her world she was creating and have the power to have her readers feel all of the emotions the characters are experiencing.
Caspian Archer can only accomplish those two paramount tasks that will he secure his inheritance. What he needs is someone willing to agree to an arrangement of convenience and spare him the emotional ties of settling down.
Paisley Fischer was evicted and broke, she didn’t think things could get worse. Then… they did. With her mother in a coma, and the insurance benefits running out, Paisley will soon be strapped with the financial responsibility of her care. She has no idea how she’s going to provide for both of them until a childhood friend comes to her with an unconventional offer.
All she has to do is pretend to be happily married, but a lot can change in 365 days.
I’m excited to see what the author has instore for this series.

Victoriously Yours (Titans Of Manhattan #4) by Anise Storm

This is not the first book I’ve read by the author. In fact it’s not the first book in the series that I’ve read. Victoriously Yours is the fourth book in the Titans of Manhattan Series. This time we get to see Jonas.

Jonas is a successful businessman now and has an endless amount of women walking in and out of his life. He is looking for a chef and when he runs into the one person he hasn’t forgotten what will happen. The quote I chose for Jonas is: “Good evening. My name’s Jonas Courtland, and I’m with the Courtland Hospitality Group.”

Kenzie has once been fooled by Jonas Courtland once before. She runs into him when she is supposed to meet with a group of chefs applying for the same job. What happens when she sees him? The quote I chose for Kenzie is: “Dear Lord, please tell me that you’ve at least gotten your stuff packed?”

Highly recommended for Contemporary Romance lovers.

Victoriously Yours (Titans Of Manhattan #4)Victoriously Yours by Anise Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Mackenzie was just a preacher’s daughter that thought Jonas really loved her. One bad decision at prom ruined her life and changed it forever. She never saw Jonas again until that fateful cooking audition at CHG Seaport with her bestie, Reece. Jonas, always one the lookout for another notch, made a bad dare with his best friend that prom night. One he has always regretted. He never got to see Kenzie again until she showed up at the CHG Seaport. The sparks were still there and they were still flying. The problem is that the emotional baggage from prom night really hurt Kenzie and left something that is both a blessing and a secret that Jonas has not idea about. There is a lot of hurt to get over. Can they get over that? Jonas has a lot of his own issues to get over, he comes to figure out as he talks to his friends, The Titans. The story is very intense in spots. There are areas that may be triggers for some people. This is possibly one of the best books I’ve read yet. The author covers pretty realistically what happens but also the joy and the good parts. The romance has its roller coaster ride of emotions (and you’ll feel them). Kenzie wants to do what’s right for herself and Tori. i also like the fact that when Jonas is being kind of a jerk, Kenzie has a support network behind her. The story, the characters, the plot are all so good, This has been my favorite Titan book of the series yet. It is steamy. Just the way I like my romances. I would give it more than a 5 if I could.

This book is book four of the series. I’ve enjoyed the other books in this series so I had no doubt I would like this one and I was not wrong.

Jonas is content being the playboy he’s been labeled. There’s been no shortage of falling in love all around him but he’d really rather not. He got close to someone once and that was more than enough. He’s got enough on his plate he doesn’t need to worry about relationships. Mackenzie fell for the wrong boy once and has paid for it ever since. Now she just needs to land this restaurant contract. Little does she know the contract just so happens to be for her worst nightmare/enemy. Will old feelings resurface or has the damage been done? One things for sure, when it comes to games, there’s usually only one winner.

I enjoyed this book. There were lots of emotions and more than just surface stuff going on. It was well written and the characters definitely had chemistry you couldn’t look passed.

Conveniently Yours is the first book in the Titans of Manhatten series. This book follows Caspian Archer and Paisley Fischer. Caspian is a CEO and Paisley is struggling and financially down on her luck. This book follows the fake marriage troupe which has been done repeatedly within romance and in my opinion is extremely difficult to do well. This author did this well and I would recommend this. Paisley is such a genuinely lovely person you cannot help but love.

I continue to love this series and Jonas’s story did not disappoint. This was a great 5 star read. All I can say is be prepared, this is an intense dark story and my emotions were all over the place. These two have a history and when fate brings them together again watch out. Kenzie is a chef and Jonas needs one for his hotel. He will not stop until he gets what he wants. But…we get some huge twists once secrets start to come out. I really don’t want to say much more, I don’t want to give anything away. Overall I think this has become my favorite in the series. If you’re looking for a great 2nd chance romance this is the book for you. Even being part of a great series it can be read as a stand alone. I can’t wait to read more from this author. 1-click and get started today.

Uhhhhh-mazing!!! The best of the series. Steamy. Emotional. Fantastic. Wonderful. Brilliant.

This is my favorite of the series so far. The story made me feel all the feels and heat. Kenzie and Jonas had a rough start that ended in disaster. After a decade apart where each had rebuilt their lives, they have a chance meeting. Kenzie is one of the many chefs vying for a position as a head chef in one of Jonas’ new hotels. The fire, the spark, the desire, the emotions, the connection is all still there but they just can’t stop hurting each other. Once again, ending in disaster.

When Jonas finds Kenzie after she disappeared from their latest disaster, it looks like there could be a new beginning. The last secret that Kenzie had been holding onto surfaces causes a rift that might be impossible to come back from. Third strike for the couple. It could be their last. Are either willing to try again? Can the last secret destroy more than just them? Can they move past their history of hurting each other to finally find love?

The author finds a way to throw in more twists when you think all the twists have been undone. I love this series. I loved Conveniently Yours, but this one is my favorite. Everything about this story was great, from the prologue to the epilogue, I was hooked on each word. Fan-dam-tastic. I haven’t read a single thing by this author that has disappointed. Looking forward to the next Titan (again!)!!!

This is the 4th book in a fantastic contemporary romance series that I have loved every book so far. Book 4 is just as good, if not better than the previous three, all of which were 5 star reads in my opinion.
In this series we are getting the stories of 5 guys who are named as the Titans of Manhattan, all successful billionaires in their chosen fields. This time we are getting the story of Jonas Courtland, major hotel developer who has absolutely no inclination to join his three friends in committing to just one woman. Well, that is until Mackenzie Broderick comes back into his life. Mackenzie is the preachers daughter who he seduced at high school as part of a bet with his friends. Little did he know just how much his actions had changed her life.
I loved reading Mackenzie and Jonas’ story. It’s quite angsty, which I love. Watching Mackenzie, who is determined to hate Jonas, fight the feelings she still has for him, makes for some great reading. I was really gripped by their story and hated real life for getting in the way and making me put this book down.
We still have one more titan to go in this series and I can say that I’ll be very sad to see this series end. I’ll just have to read it all again sometime.

Victoriously Yours is the fourth book in the Titans of Manhattan series. Holy Heck what a ride! This book sucked me in from the first page and there was no stopping until I finished. I’ve read several books by her and each one gets better and better. I highly recommend reading this series in order as each book is about a different Titan and the characters overlap plus you get to read about hot rich sexy men. This is Jonas’s and Kenzie’s story and what a ride. These two are so different yet the same. They went to high school together where a bet turned bad you can say . A decade later Kenzie finds herself in a competition for a chef position at a restaurant in a building owned by the one guy who shattered her heart back when they were in school. These two will take you on quite the emotional rollercoaster ride and there may be some things that may be a trigger . I absolutely loved reading this book as I was patiently waiting for Jonas’s story. I don’t want to give up to much. So I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. Can there past be forgiven? I can not wait for the next book in this series.

A playboy, with a past that explains so much and makes you want to cuddle the man until the world comes to an end. I have read three of the four books in this series thus far, and by far, this one is my favorite. Their past holds so many emotions, good and bad, and ones that hold on for the entirety of their lives, but I suppose I will let you read and find out what’s to come from Jonas and Kenzies’ reunion.

This author has yet to disappoint me when it comes to character development, pulling at heartstrings, and bringing the story to life and before the reader, the story ends, because it’s just that worthy of a binge read. I will be reading this series, and specifically this novel again, as mental health is huge in today’s society, and I don’t think anything helps more than to read of those that also are coping with them, be it within literature or in real life. It’s also nice for this author to remind folks that it’s not just those that struggle that struggle with mental health issues, rather they aren’t picky, they affect everyone. Well done, and you know I’ll be highly recommending this read!

I absolutely love this author and her ability to make one want to feel the love that vibrates off these pages. I have enjoyed getting to know the Titans of Manhattan thus far, and I have to say, the fact that Mason has made it his life’s goal to provide the women that work for him safe and protected in their lifestyle is incredibly inspiring and though it’s a work of fiction, the way that he does so makes me so happy. I know that in real life it’s still quite difficult to find a spot where you are well taken care of in that line of work and not have to worry about one’s personal safety.

I also love that Rhyann proves that just because women elect to work in that line of work doesn’t mean that they don’t have a side story and that being a dancer is hard, in all aspects of the job/lifestyle/career. What really made me smile was the way in which Rhyann and Mason come together and show their vulnerable side, at first with difficulty, and then the way it just comes naturally. Read to find out how naturally it comes! I very much look forward to the rest of this series, as these stories just seem to get better and better. Well done!

Victoriously Yours (Titans Of Manhattan #4)Victoriously Yours by Anise Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book has all the feels and the author does a beautiful job at tackling hard circumstances. She beautifully navigates the issue of mental illness with love and understanding. As someone who has a personal battle with mental illness this is a tough issue to read about but I was very appreciative of how the author handled it.

At the start of the book we meet Jonas who has an unfavorable past and a line of conquests a million miles long. He takes on a dare to not only make the unpopular girl more presentable but also to deflower her. Mackenzie thinks that he could be the one until she finds out her transgression has been broadcasted to the entire school and from there it seems her life is on a downward spiral. Jump to the future and both Jonas and Mackenzie have moved on, Jonas as a titan/hotel mogel and Kenzie as a chef just trying to land a huge contract. Unfortunately, fate seems to have other plans as the contract Mackenzie wants just so happens to be working for Jonas, the seemingly devil himself.

Unfortunately there are no winners in this game they play. As secrets are unraveled and the past exposed it seems that the past may not be all it seems. With everything on the line can Jonas and Mackenzie find their happy ever after? Or was their relationship doomed from the start?

As I started reading the book I truly did not like Jonas at all. Not his character or his moral compass. Yet by the end of the book I could begin to understand him more as well as soften up my feelings towards him. That is a feat in and of itself for an author to successfully do. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. If you like mystery, suspense, and what seems like a love gameshow then you will love this book.

Kenzie is a chef. At the moment, she is doing catering gigs out of her small 1 bedroom apartment with her roommate, but she has experience as well as finely honed skills. The only thing she doesn’t have is the money or right connections to really accomplish her dreams. When she hears of a competition for CHG in Manhattan where the prize is an exclusive contract, she knows she and Reece have a chance to really make it! Little does she know, the “C” in CHG belongs to Jonas Courtland – the boy who broke her heart and upended her life in high school.

Jonas is a notorious playboy and proud of his status as both a bachelor, and as a Titan. His sucker friends all got taken down by women, but not him. He was an ingenious businessman in the luxury hotel world, as well as a man who has a different woman in his bed every night. Jonas is a very busy man with a very busy social life, but when he sees McKenzie again, everything becomes a little less clear.

This book has such a wild range of emotions and series of “are they or aren’t they?” keeping you on your toes. Several times I thought there wouldn’t be any more surprises, but I was wrong every time. Jonas and Kenzie kept me interested.

I’ve been in love with series since book two, but let me tell ya, book four just HITS DIFFERENT. This book was over the top awesome, exceptionally, astounding, marvelous, sensational and sensual book that she’s had so far in the series. I’ve been waiting for this book to come out, and I was ecstatic when it was released. This author does not disappoint, and I’m already dying for book two. The chemistry between the characters was phenomenal, and I love the parallel between a specific character and the name of the book.

Victoriously Yours (Titans of Manhattan Book 4) by Anise Storm. I love this series and I have been anxiously waiting on Jonas’ story. Jonas came across as the most stuck up, conceited jerk of the whole group. Life has not been easy on Jonas and instead of becoming softer he’s even more of a jerk but when he reconnects with an old flame from high school he’s different. He’s not exactly butter but he’s a little less arrogant. Kenzie has come a long way from High school and the girl with the broken heart. Kenzie has had her share of hard knocks but she’s on a great career path and when she goes to interview for her dream job of Chef she never in a million years dreamed the one interviewing her would be Jonas. Try as they may can they stay away from each other except for a professional relationship? The chemistry is crazy between the two of them and Kenzie may be able to soften Jonas more than anyone!

WOW, I received this book and devoured it in just a few hours. I have been waiting for Jonas’s story. I am hooked on this delicious series. Anise did not disappoint in fact she went beyond my expectations in this amazing heartbreaking fourth book in the Titans of Manhattan series. Anise certainly puts her readers and characters through their paces but in this one boy she went all out.

Jonas is arrogant he is powerful and he is a playboy what he wants he gets. He works hard and plays harder, one-night stands, no strings. But in this story, we get to see a much different side of him when his past is staring him in the face.

Mackenzie wants this, no she needs this but at what cost? When she walks through that door all the painful secret’s that destroyed her, scarred her, left her devastated, lost and defeated all come rushing back.

I can’t wait for the next book.

I already enjoyed the other book in this series so it was a no-brainer when I chose to read this one. I was looking forward to seeing who the next ‘Titan’ would be. I was excited for it to be Jonas. I have to say he was a bit of an alphahole and not in a good way but I did enjoy watching him change as his story progressed with Kenzie. Kenzie…I loved her. But your girl had some baggage she had to let go of. I loved seeing her overcome things from that her past that were causing her problems in her life. I did enjoy this story the chemistry between Jonas and Kenzie was very delicious. I definitely recommend this for a quick read.

Victoriously Yours (Titans Of Manhattan Book 4)

Well she did it once again.  We get to see another Titan fall and it was so entertaining.

Let’s be honest,  of all of the Titans, Jonas came across as the most arrogant jerk of the group.  As we learn more about him I think jerk is too nice of name.  He  was not a good person in his younger years, end of story.

Flash forward ten years, he hasn’t changed a lot. If anything he is even more arrogant now.  But a chance encounter with an high school flame changes everything.

Kenzie has come a long way from the girl who was heartbroken in high school.  Full of confidence and on the verge of a successful career as a chef she is floored when she sees him again.  Thankfully her best friend and sous chef Reece is there to help her in life and in the kitchen.

I’m a amateur foodie and love watching the cooking competition shows.  All I could think of was a steamer version of Top Chef.  Not sure why that popped into my head, but once it popped in I couldn’t get it to leave.

Loved this book and everything about it.   Can’t wait for the next one.

Victoriously yours is my first Titan read ever, and hot dang. I could not put this book down. This book is like the movies she’s all that meets 50 shades of grey. I loved the spin, angst, and plot twists at every corner. This book has me on the edge of my seat so many times! This book was filled with lots of drama and hard times for both main characters. I like that we learned about their pasts and see how it’s molded them to who they became later on in life. Per my title there’s a LOT of spicy parts, and I mean a lot. However it was not overbearing or repetitive IMO. This author has a way to hook you and reel you in. Seriously a good read and glad I found this book! This is the second book in the Titian series and concept of the Titians is better fleshed out than in book one. Unlike the other books this one begins with the main characters, introduced in book 1, already as a couple. The author does a great job at drawing you into the story. It isn’t usual that I would cry reading a book from, what I would consider, steamy romance genre but the author makes it into so much more than that. She knows how to break your heart before slowly mending it back together.

This is the first book in the Titians series. I started with the 3rd and liked it so much I read the others. This doesn’t really introduce the Titians at all and is the one I’ve liked the least. It’s a good story and I like how the author is able to tell the story without making the conflict seem annoying simple to solve. The characters were well developed and likable. I look forward to reading the last book in the series when it comes out later this summer.

This was the first Titan book that I have read. It was a pretty quick read and I enjoyed it. Jonas is a jerk and you can’t change my mind. He grew on me towards the end but he’s not my favorite. Kenzie is strong to overcome everything that has happened in her life. She found a healthy outlet for it by cooking. I was really hoping for more interactions with the rest of the friend group just to see how well they all got along.

Victoriously Yours is the 4th book in the Titans of Manhattan series by Anise Storm, this series is just fantastic, it doesn’t hide from the big issues and doesn’t pretend that everyone in a novel like this is perfect touching on issues such as mental health and childhood traumas. Kenzie is a flawed character, she has been hurt in the past and this has affected her view of relationships, when she goes to audition for the job of a lifetime, she doesn’t expect her potential employer to be the same boy that broke her years ago. Jonas is a successful businessman, a playboy about town, but no one realises the extent of his struggles. This was a really enjoyable read; the main characters are very likable and the story keeps you engaged. I am very much looking forward to book 5 in the series.

This is the second book I’ve read in this series. Initially I was annoyed with the main male character, he was a stereotypical arrogant ass. However, over the course of the book his character development was pretty impressive and by the end I actually liked him. Overall this story had more depth then many in this genre and I really enjoyed following the characters through their journey of self discovery. I look forward to reading the other books in this series.

This Author never disappoints, and this series only gets better. Jonas and Kenzie have become my favorite couple, and their story took me by absolute surprise. Together they have a painful and emotional history that bleeds as gainfully in their present as it did in their past.
Kenzie was a girl who suffered from the heartbreak and betrayal by the teenage boy she gave her innocence to.. Feeling mentally defeated and lost she takes the only avenue she feels she has left causing a destructive domino effect.. Jonas and Kenzie were people who were disappointed and hurt by not just each other, but the people around them. As they are reunited at this present time in their life it becomes clear they never got over each other. Trying to understand what’s between them and if there can ever be more only brings up their difficult past and the secrets that are still between them.. As truth comes to light you feel the hurt, heartbreak, love, lust and insecurity that is between them and wonder if they can ever move on.
