IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE is a sweet and fun romance anthology from so many wonderful authors you really can’t go wrong! I have loved reading several of these ladies for quite some time but and delighted that I have also had the chance to discover a few new ones to love. I mainly scooped this up for the Two Hearts inclusion from Tamara Ferguson so that will be my in depth review below but the others were just as fabulous to read and I look forward to finishing out the last few novels included soon! Anthologies always make the season going on around me that much more special and often make great gifts. I found myself enamored enough to gift a few of these this love season of Valentines. Two Hearts Reconnaissance by Tamara Ferguson is a sweet additon to her Two Hearts series that I have long loved now. This one brings us back to Crystal Rock and tells the story of Eve and Harry. Life and time has seperated these you loves but now the present brings them home and gives them a much needed second chance at love. Will they find the happily ever after they so desire?

This collection is an amazing set of stories all based around love. While each story gets to the happily ever after or Happy for now, they all take different ways to get there. Something for everyone in this and I will be recommending this collection to many. I initially got this for 2 authors I follow and ended up finding some new to me authors that will now be on my to look out for list.
Irresistible Valentine anthology is a collection of works by some fantastic authors. I have read all of these authors previously and could not wait to get my hands on these stories. I really enjoyed how these books were all different from each other. They had the same feel and yet there was never a risk of them all “becoming one” as I often find is the issue with anthologies. Each authors voice was distinctive and easy to hear. The stories were all varied but well developed. There isn’t one that I didn’t like. This is a great anthology and one that I would recommend.

Will the magic continue in the place they met? Tamara never lets me down with her stories and this one is just as good as all the others.
Cupid’s Quest: Natalie Ann, is the tale of two damaged souls from their pasts that come together through a common goal. Ruby has walls around her heart and doesn’t let anyone in easily. Josh is looking for a home he can make for his family, now he just has to convince her that they can be together. This is a captivating story and one of my favourites in this anthology.
A Little Change of Plans: Suzanne Jenkins, is a great story where Geri is new to the fire station and is driven for a career and will not let anyone stand in her way. All it took is one look and Jake was in love, now he needs to prove it to her.
All Night Long: Cynthia Cooke, is fun and had me laughing as I read about these wonderful characters. Phoebe wants to make her own way as a wedding planner and Beau just wants to keep the bar and hotel in the valley and make it his own. If only he could convince her to stay. A great story to get lost in.
Never Lovers: Alicia Street, is an emotional tale of two people torn apart by a tragedy. Now after many years apart they are forced to share accomodation when wanting to get away from their day to day life. Will true love find its way back to them? A good read.
The Player: Jacquie Biggar, is the story of Roy who made a bad decision in the female department and now it is affecting his game when this stalker won’t leave him alone. Patience who is a PR person and is hired to make Roy look good after a crazy ex tries to get him back but destroying his game in the process. What neither of them expect is the lengths she will go to and what they find with each other. I really enjoyed this story and would have loved more.
Unexpected Packages: Stacy Eaton, Lexi is mortified when a package is delivered to the wrong address and is then brought to her. What was once total annoyance turns into something more than they ever thought possible. All the feel goods came out with this one. I would actually like to see more of this couple.
First Class Flirtation: Susan Jean Ricci, Melissa is looking forward to the extra room she booked on her flight but an altercation changes things and now she is stuck with a grumpy stranger. However these two unlikely people soon learn they cannot live without each other but they may not get their happy ever after when tragedy strikes.
Serendipity Falls: Patrice Wilton, There is something in the water at this unsuspecting town in the snow, Devon doesn’t believe it and he loves his life being a one and done kind of guy but when Tara comes to town he finds she has something he can’t seem to stay away from. Cupid does love love now if only he could find it too. This is a nice and easy enjoyable read.

5-Stars Irresistible Valentine Anthology was an excellent collection of stories. The were all organized and written well. I lived each one of them. They all had excellent plot and climax. There was significant backstory and the characters were developed well. The story that stuck out to me was by author Tamara Ferguson. Two Hearts’ Reconnaissance was heartbreaking and sweet. The start of the story had me in tears. I really enjoyed that story and felt it was my favorite out of the collection. I highly recommend this anthology.

I loved reading the story Two Hearts’ Reconnaissance by Tamara Ferguson. It one of my favorite stories in this anthology. I loved reading about the characters of Eve Loughlin and Harry Giordano. They met when they were teenagers. They were survivors and at first, there was a close friendship. Their feelings for each other was strong. They went separate ways because of their careers. What does the future hold for Eve and Harry? Will they find their way back to each other? Is their love for each other still strong? Read this story to find out. This story is emotion and mine were going up and down the entire time I was reading it. The book does deal with a serious subject matter however it also has Eve and Harry, with help from others, overcomes their past. I grew to care about what happened to Eve and Harry and wanted them to find happiness. I also enjoyed reading about many of the other characters that are in the story and how they interact with Eve and Harry. This is a story that you don’t want to miss out on reading.
The Player By Jacquie Biggar 5 out of 5 stars
I enjoyed reading the story The Player by Jacquie Biggar. It is a story that had me laughing at times and then there are moments where you want to say “Aww.” I loved the two main characters. From the back and forth bantering to the feelings of romance that was totally unexpected. There are moments that you wonder what is going to happen next. I grew to care about what happened to the characters and wanted them to be happy. The story flowed smoothly and I found myself not wanting it to end. The author does an amazing job of making a story that is both romantic and entertaining. It is a story that you don’t want to miss out on reading.
This is a great anthology full of short stories that will warm your heart and keep you warm on a cold night. This is full of great authors, some new to me and some are my favorites. They are engaging with characters that pop off the pages and into your heart. My favorite is by Tamara Ferguson. It is a story about two teenagers, Eve and Harry, who have overcome so much but now life is taking them in separate directions. Will fate bring them back together? I highly recommend reading this book, I know you will find your favorites like I did.

I give Love in the Lowcountry (A Winter Holiday Collection Book 1), 4 stars.
This is a great collection of Christmas romance stories. What makes it stand out is that there are multiple subgenres of romance, such as contemporary romance and paranormal romance. This makes it even more interesting in my opinion, you never what what you’re going to get next.
While there are many good stories in here, I want to focus on Poinsettias for Carly by Michele Sims. It takes two main characters who were really close when they were young, but tragedy separated them. Now she can’t stand him, especially after this latest move. But he seems to want to forgive and forget. Is she willing?
Not a very long story, the author is able to tell us so much about these characters’ pasts while explaining what is happening in the current day too. This felt like a complete story to me and while I would love to read more about these people, I did not like I was left hanging. The author is a great storyteller and it really comes across in the story.
If you like variety in your romance short stories, this is the perfect anthology for your holiday season.

This Winter Holiday Collection has a little bit of everything!
Poinsettias for Carly by Michele Sims is a pretty ok and sweet story. It’s a quick short story about 2 kids growing up together until a tragic accident and a few misunderstandings cause hurt feelings and repressed love. All this information is gathered in flash backs. Those same kids are grown-ups now and are meeting again for the first time in many years. As they reminisce, they rediscover their love for each other.
The story flowed well but I didn’t seem able to connect to the characters. I could definitely see how their situation could have been different with some good old fashioned open communication. I like Sims writing style to keep reading her stories. While there seems to be something missing, Sims is a writer to be watched!

What a wonderful collection of winter time stories! There is definitely something for everybody in this anthology – from paranormal to sweet romance. One of the stories I particularly enjoyed was Poinsettias for Carly by Michele Sims. I enjoy second chance romances so this one was always going to be a great story for me and throw in Christmas time and it ticks every box! Although this was a short story it wasn’t lacking in anything at all – it was well written with characters that were developed nicely. I loved Carly! I thought that she was a great character. She’s been through some tough times but she absolutely stands up for what she believes in! Even if that means standing up to the man who she shares a past with! This really was a lovely story and well worth a read from this anthology!

Love in the Lowcountry: A Winter Holiday Collection was a great 5 star read. We get a great mix of14 winter themed stories from several great authors, paranormal, 2nd chance romance and so much more.
Hoodwinked for the Holidays This was an interesting read. Sarah runs ghost tours and she has a couple of ghosts working for her, but is it really a good idea? One evening her ghost’s cause some issues for her and she is worried that Saxon, her competition will find out. The other problem for Sarah is sparks fly whenever they see each other. When he shows up to take Sarah’s ghost tour things get interesting.
Mistletoe and Mayhem – We start with Penelope (Penny) trying to get a job at the magic shop. She meets Jamison while talking to Minerva about the job. I had lol moments at Penny’s thoughts. When Jamison sees her, he seems interested in her ring. There is something about him that sends shivers up Penny’s spine, is it good or bad?
Poinsettias for Carly was one of my favorites. I was pulled in from the beginning with this short story. This is Carly and Mason’s story that involves past and present. Carly returns home to help pack up her mom’s home, while packing she relives some of her memories. Mason left town after an accident that involved Carly’s brother. Now that they are both back can they rekindle their lost love? My emotions were all over the place. Do they get a HEA?
There are several other great stories in this collection. I enjoy reading these collections because it gives me an opportunity to read authors I have never read before. There is something for everyone in this collection. Each story was just the right length. My emotions were all over the place. Love in the Lowcountry (A Winter Holiday Collection Book 1) is a varied and exciting collection of books by some fantastic authors. This collection definitely has something for everyone and Ioved how from story to story you got something entirely different. I started out reading this anthology mainly for Michele Sims. This is an author that I had read previous works of and have always enjoyed. However, once I got the book I couldn’t stop myself from delving into the rest of the work and I can definitely say that I am pleased I did. Not only did I discover books that were well written, engaging and well paced, I also discovered some new authors that I hadn’t heard off before. Even if you aren’t interested in all the books I would recommend buying this anthology as I am sure you will find more to like than initially expected.

Its a second chance love story about a girl named Carly who finds out her old home is being torn down and she confronts the one guy who still has her heart. Its a story so full of emotion and love that you will zip through it so fast. Its a feel good Christmas story so get you a cup of cocoa and a blanket and settle down for the sweet love story.

What a brilliant collection of stories, that will hold you captivated and hooked right from the start. Each story brings you along on a journey that you can’t help but not want it to end. Reading a collection of stories helps you find new authors that you will come to love, one of mine was Michele Sims read, Poinsettias for Carly. This isn’t my first read by this author but this one really had my emotions on a rollercoaster. I couldn’t deny the grin I had while reading it. I loved Carly & Mason’s story, I was hooked from the start, even though it was a shorter read, it definitely wasn’t lacking in content, amazing characters and an even better storyline.

Love in the Lowcountry is a sweet and heartwarming collection of winter themed stories conveniently in one nice package deal. I loved the vast array of novels that cover many genres from paranormal to the second chance romance. I am going to leave a little tidbit about the sweet second chance romance novella, Poinsettias for Carly by Michele Sims, an already favorite author of mine.
I loved that the title, Poinsettias for Carly also mentions A past unresolved is never the past… I feel like that gives you a good indication of what you are in store for with this little read. I love that while this was a short and fast paced read I never felt slighted or bored and like I was missing pieces. Carly was a fun character who brought the emotion to life in the tale of her finding the spirit of Christmas and dealing with a past that has come back to face her in the future. Will she get her second chance at love and a happily ever after? For that and more fantastic other reads you will have to pick up this set for yourself!

Poinsettias for Carly is one of the many stories in A Winter Holiday Collection .I’ve read several books by Author Michele Sims and I’m never disappointed. I was hooked from the beginning although this is a short story it grabbed me from the beginning and I couldn’t stop reading till I finished. I felt like I was on a emotional rollercoaster ride at times, it’s heartwarming at times. I loved the characters Carly and Mason. These two knew each other in the past, and now in the present. This sweet contemporary romance finds two people have both gone through a divorce and are both passionate about their callings. But when Carly finds that her childhood home is being torn down she decides to confront the man she once loved. What she finds is a nice Christmas rekindling the past and hopefully a new future. The story is well written and is a lovely second chance tale.

The story that I want to review is Poinsettias for Carly by Michele Sims. It is a book that intertwines the past and present. It is a story that had my emotions going up and down the entire time that I read it. This is a book that although isn’t very long, had my attention from the beginning to the last page. It has heartwarming scenes and I found myself with a smile on my face when reading it. It gives you “the feels” all the way through. I loved reading about Carly and Mason. They are two characters that I found myself caring about what happened to them and wanted them to be happy. Don’t miss out on this amazing story that is part of this anthology. I highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed this collection of stories. It felt like a complete set and covered a full spectrum of scenarios from paranormal to historical to straight romance. All romance lovers will enjoy this charming collection set in the heart of the south, with all the charm you would come to expect. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a great collection of stories that will warm your heart right to your soul. There is a little bit of everything from romance to paranormal. Each story is unique, engaging and well written. You will find stories about keeping secrets, about confronting the past, second chances and more. You will find a favorite among these as well as meet a new author or two. I highly recommend this holiday collection set, they will keep you warm on a cold night.

This whole collection is one that I will reread every year around Christmas. Many of the authors in this anthology are ones that I already follow on a regular basis but there were quite a few that this was my first read by them and this is what I love about anthologies like this, You come because of authors you know, but you stay because the others also draw you in and won’t let go.
I believe Id give 4 or 5 stars to every story in this collection and can’t wait to check out more from all of these authors.
If I were to pull out just a couple stories it would be Allyson R Abbott and Tamara Ferguson and this is not easy because there were so many I loved, but these two are absolute go to’s for me when I need a comforting read. Miss Abbotts was a bit different than I’m used to from her and I was impressed at how she handled it, and Miss Ferguson gave me the sweetness I love reading during the holidays.
I can not recommend this whole collection enough, it has everything and there’s no way it won’t satisfy everyone who loves to read in one way or the other.

1/8 hearts of a hunk anthology: A Kiss Under A Blue Christmas Moon (Daydreams and Dragonflies 4) written by Tamara Ferguson. This is a cute short story that has some familiar people and places if you have read any of Tamara Fergusons Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Series. Dragonfly Pointe is a magical place and is said to help along true love, Mia and Noah are no different than anyone else who has experienced true love at Dragonfly Pointe. Mia and Noah are cute characters and you watch them quickly grow up from high school strangers to friends to lovers to strangers again. Until Noah comes home and Mia comes home, and Dragonfly Pointe is not letting them get away again. I love the idea and stories behind Dragonfly Pointe and all the stories this one included. It’s a sweet story that had some heartbreak, anger and loss and of course love. Foxxy Christmas written by Allyson R Abbott this story has it’s ups and downs as you go you feel bad for Foxxy and her life. Then as the story goes you realize you feel bad for the people who have wronged her because she’s a lot stronger than anyone gave her credit for, including herself, until she feels like she has nothing and no one left. So why not make a new life for herself. I liked Foxxy a lot as a character she had her moments of weakness but we all do. Then there’s Richard and Jerry, they are quite the pair with their story and how they randomly show up in Foxxys life. Overall the story was well written, it flowed good and I enjoyed it.

Heart of a Hunk: A Limited-Edition Collection of Bad Boy, Billionaire and Hunk Romance Heroes is a hot collection of 24 holiday romances by various writers! I have read some of the writers before so I knew that I will have some good time ahead of me when I needed to have something short and sweet (and hot) to read during holidays! The stories are not connected so I can start wherever you want and obviously I started with the writers that I had fallen in love before – Tamara Ferguson and Allyson R. Abbott (and then went for Kris Jayne and Stephanie Queen and Jane Blythe and …). I love picking up collections time to time as it is a great way of being introduced to new writers! I will touch more upon Tamara Ferguson and Allyson R. Abbott’s stories in more detail though I do think that every one of the stories has something to give! A Kiss Under A Blue Christmas Moon by Tamara Ferguson was a sweet story that took us back to Crystal Rock, Wisconsin, where we meet Mia Michaels and Noah Erikson and we keep our fingers crossed for Christmas miracle! This couple had their chance for happiness torn away from them six years earlier when Noah left for the Air Force. Neither of them has been able to move on so join them in the magical small town where other miracles have happened! Foxxy Christmas by Allyson R Abbott is another one of her heartwarming Christmas stories providing us with a dash of suspense, revenge, drama and romance … and let’s not forget about destiny! What should happen will happen … or will it now? The story has quite a few triggers so be forewarned, if you feel through the story you get a raw emotional read that doesn’t leave anyone unmoved!

Heart of A Hunk is an anthology put together by some amazing authors. I enjoyed almost every story. I like how you get to sample an authors work. From an anthology you can find new authors to enjoy. These books were well written and the authors presented something different. Not any story was the same. The men and women represented a rang of characteristics and emotional strengths and weaknesses. I also like the thought of reading shorter chapters and short stories. You get just the right amount of romance and not the lengthy filler pages. The story that stood out the most was Foxxy Christmas by Allyson R Abbott. It was full of sass and realness. I also liked A Demon’s Gift by Jocelyn Dex. I found that story to be entertaining and creative. All the stories had many good points and I will be checking out more of these authors works.

Heart of a Hunk: A Limited-Edition Collection of Bad Boy, Billionaire and Hunky Romance Heroes by various authors is a hot collection of holiday romances that will melt your holly.
A solid collection of 24 stories, there is something for everyone. Two of the stories that I will be touching on are by authors that I have already had the pleasure of reading books by. Allyson R. Abbott and Tamara Ferguson. Being as these are all different stories you don’t need to read them in order, so start where you want and end were you want.
Foxxy Christmas by Allyson R. Abbott, was a different read for me, as I don’t normally venture too much into the escort type books. But being as I like Allyson’s other books, I fell right into her easy rhythm and found myself pulled into this raw emotional read. This read, will get you in the feels and if you are sensitive to assault, then I suggest maybe passing over this story as it does touch of some triggering scenarios. But the plot around revenge was intriguing, engaging and is what hooked me.
A Kiss Under A Blue Christmas Moon by Tamara Ferguson was a sweet romance that has all the heart meltyness of a hallmark movie. Like this author’s other works, I loved the characters and their interactions. I was rooting for these two from the start, and I didn’t want this story to end. A fast moving read, nothing was spared or compromised. This read was on par with Tamara’s other works.
Overall this collection is worth your time, and it is a limited time special edition so I highly suggest you take my high recommendation and my stamp of approval, and get your hand on this anthology before it’s gone.
