The author knocked it out of the park again. I loved this book just as much as the first one. It is my suggestion that you read the first book before diving into this one. This book had the same great characters and added some more. There is action, suspense, and unexpected twists and turns. Dylan is so awesome, her mouth and curiosity gets her in trouble more often than not. I found this story to be unique and entertaining. Once I started reading this book I found that I couldn’t put it down until I got to the end and once I reached the end I was left on a cliffhanger, losing my mind!! I cannot wait to read the next one, I have no doubt it will be just as awesome. I highly recommend this book.

Testament of Feats: Book of Sorrows (Book Two 2) by K.H. Jones is a dark fantasy story and a very compelling read. KH writing is very vivid and detailed and it seems as though you are a part of the journey right along with the characters. The world KH has created is intricately woven and all the moving parts come together nicely to keep you intrigued right until the end. I look forward to reading what comes next

License to Bite by Carrie Pulkinen is the first book in her new series New Orleans Nocturnes. I had read her Crescent City Ghost Tours so I knew I had to pick up License to Bite. It is a bit different from the Ghost Tours as it ventures even deeper into the paranormal world but as she has written other paranormal stories then I was not surprised at all how much I liked the story. Add to this that it was a paranormal COMEDY then you can just imagine how much fun one could have with it! License to Bite gives us Ethan Devereaux who has been a vampire for quite many years and he thinks that his heart will never beat again as he lost his fiancée before he was turned. But then enters Jane Anderson, Governor’s daughter, who seems to be Ethan’s fiancée reincarnated but … well, that is not the case when she wakes up sober (after Mardi Gras and all the drinking she had done the night she met Ethan) and on top of that, she has a huge aversion to blood that is an absolute no-no for vampires … and so our romantic paranormal comedy commences, with bells and whistles and with a deadline of three weeks or … So, if you like paranormal, romance, comedy and New Orleans, then this book AND series if for sure for you so buckle down and here we go!

This is a Fae Paranormal Romance and the first in the ‘High Fae Academy’ series by Kaylin Peyerk. Our heroine Tiana, is a ‘Halfling‘, half human and half Fae and so begins her schooling at the ‘Supernatural Academy for Gifted Children’. Tiana discovers that there is a prophecy about her being ‘the chosen one’, destined to end the war between the Light and Dark Fae. Once at the High Fae Academy for Gifted Supernaturals, Tiana meets five sexy male Fae all of whom she feels a connection too but sadly she must choose between them. This is made more complicated as her magic allows her to control all of the five elements and each facet of her magic pulls her towards each of the men, to the element’s perfect match. As well as having to concentrate on getting good grades in her lessons Tiana also sets off on a dangerous ride in order to bring peace to a war ravaged world. I liked the characters in the story, I found Tiana a strong female lead and I enjoyed seeing how her relationships developed with each of the five Fae competing for her affections. The storyline flowed well and I found myself happily immersed in the story and felt invested in the characters. I look forward to continuing Tiana’s adventures throughout the series of books.

Romance In Rehoboth Box Set Books 1-3 Music Man A Single Dad Rock Star Romantic Comedy (Romance in Rehoboth Book 1) By K.L. Montgomery ☆☆☆☆☆ What can I say about this book? It’s a full length Romantic Comedy with a twist of Rock Star. This book can be a standalone. Although I don’t think it will be for many people. My review is on Music Man.
Jack loves his music. Sense he can follow his dream at the moment, he settles for the next best thing. Teaching Music! But let’s not forget that little cutie Mariana, Jack’s daughter. The two have a special bond, one of love and for Jack’s dedication.
Claire has the gumption to get it done. She is also strong in her conviction. If she decides on something, she follows through. Learning to play the piano. Is really where she wants to be. Feelings are shared and this story is off and running.
K.L. Montgomery is a fabulous writer! The Jack and Claire story is just one example. Her characters are just everyday people, making the best out of life. The women are strong and not whiny, the men are real people. I love this story and can’t wait to read the series. I have read many of K.L. Montgomery ‘ s books and find this series is becoming my “Can’t wait for the next one” series. Well Done!

Releasing Her Power Within (Fae Shifters Book 1) By Madilynn Dale 5 out of 5 stars
The story Releasing Her Power Within (Fae Shifters Book 1) by Madilynn Dale is a paranormal fantasy book. It is a story that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. I loved reading about the character of Liz. She loves her job as a Physical Therapy Assistant even if she feels overworked. She finds herself moving to the cabin left to her by her mother and taking a new job. She finds that her new home and surroundings revealing a story that she was not expecting. What does the future hold for Liz? Will she find the answers to the mysteries behind her heritage and the cabin she now resides in? Read this book to find out. I grew to care about Liz with each chapter that I read and wanted her to be happy. I also liked that her character is thoughtful and looks to understand what is going on around her. I enjoyed reading about the additional characters that interact with Liz. I especially liked Liz’s best friend. The story had me wondering what was going to happen next. This is a book that is exciting and entertaining. I would highly recommend reading it.

I might have liked this one even better than the first, which is saying a lot because I really liked the first of this series, which also says alot about this author because I’m not really that crazy about this genre but when you have a character like Dylan and her snarky attitude I couldn’t help but get hooked. This author transported me right into the story and I enjoyed every second of it.
I love the way vampires and voodoo weaved through this story and where better than in New Orleans. Where better also to help Dylan realize there really is more going on than she realizes or wants to believe.
The ending was almost the end of my kindle and needing to get my hands on the next now is a must.
I can’t wait to read everything by this author. Awesome style and perfect flow of her stories.

I give Endless Night (Dylan Hart Book 2) by RM Gilmore, 5 stars.
I didn’t really know where the author was going to go next or if she could top book one. I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised at this book. I love the balance it plays between suspense and romance. Taking Dylan and company to New Orleans was great too, because it now shows us how she reacts when out of her element. The relationships she has with her people are changing too, and she has to deal with that on top of everything else. I’m not sure if I personally like all these changes, but I can understand and anxiously await to see where they lead in the future.
If you have read book one, you know that Dylan attracts trouble like no other. So needless to say, she is in it again, without even trying. This part of the story is where the suspense part comes in, but true to the series, there is dark humor and sarcasm all throughout the book. It would not be a Dylan Hart book without her plus sized attitude. Although she is still endearing because she does have a heart and a softer side.
If you like a suspense book with snark, humor, attitude, and a wonderful cast, this book is for you. It can be read as a standalone since the author does a great job of reminding us what happened in the past, but I highly recommend reading book one first. Either way, you will not regret picking up this book.

This is the second book in the series. We again are following along with a Friday Fitzsimmons on her life at Hero High. We get to see some old characters in here that we met in book 1. Friday is moving along with her Hero job and now she has runs across a couple syringes. She is trying to find out where they came from and who is using them. Meanwhile she is working with her mentor to improve her skills.
This is enjoyable and a fun read. Poor Friday gets into all kinds of trouble while on her quest.

Read Between The Lines is the first book in Belinda Williams’ Freshwater series. It follows television host Kat and obstetrician Matt from their first encounter, through the broken partition on their adjoining balconies, as they get to know each other. Both are eager to get to know each other, but both have aspects of their own lives they would rather not share. I particularly liked Kat’s development over the course of the story. She was always quick to judge people, deciding how she felt about them even before she’d met them in some cases. This was a skill that helped her in her interviews, leading her to ask the right questions. But, as she got to know people and let them in to her life, she began to see that people were more than her first assessments of them. From the reader’s perspective, this meant we also had our own assumptions about characters put into question and were reminded not to judge characters, and people, we don’t really know. The setting was lovely – by the sea in Australia. I haven’t read many books set in Australia, so it was lovely having something that had a bit of local colour to it. The characters spend a lot of time looking out over the waves, or exercising on the sand. Perfect escapism! For me, this is a five star book. A really enjoyable read. I felt properly invested in the characters and enjoyed getting to know them as they became comfortable enough to reveal a bit more about themselves. Would definitely recommend to romance fans who enjoy characters with busy lives and loveable friends!

I really like this author so I picked this book to read without reading the blurb, now I am not a fan of m/m books so I wasn’t sure I was going to like the story but I actually really did. I skipped over some of the parts but it didn’t make any difference to my enjoyment of the book. The authors writing as usual is magical and mysterious, she uses wonderful and vivid detail that helps you to imagine what you are reading. There was a good amount of romance and some suspense which really added to the story. I thought the pace and flow as good and the characters were really well developed. A really good read and one that I would highly recommend!
Southern Promises: The Complete Collection is a box set which contains the 3 full length novels which make up the Southern Promises Collection by K.G. Fletcher. These novels are: 1. Georgia Clay 2. Georgia On My Mind 3. Georgia Pine K.G. Fletcher was a new author to me when I read Georgia Clay and I can now say that she’s up in my list of top authors now. I’m now a huge fan of her writing. One thing I ensure now when reading her books is that I have tissues available as they are usually required.
Georgia Clay Katie and Clay meet again at their high school reunion 10 years after leaving high school. Katie remembers Clay as a very quiet, shy boy who only came alive when he sang at a school concert. Clay had a huge crush on Katie at high school. Now Katie is very successful in her job in insurance and Clay is now an award winning singer songwriter in Nashville. Both of them are so busy with their careers that there is no room in their lives for any social life or for romance. However Clay realises that his crush on Katie has not gone away and Katie is definitely attracted to Clay. This is a very well written romance novel with fantastic characters that you can connect with and will fall in love with. I have to admit that Clay is an awesome character. He’s got everything you would want in a man. He may still be quite a shy person but he’s a totally different animal in the bedroom. There are some rather steamy encounters between our 2 main characters. Of course, the path to true love never runs smoothly and there are some obstacles in the way. How will Katie and Clay overcome these and get their HEA?
Georgia On My Mind Our hero in this book is Hartford Parker, brother of Katie who was the heroine of book 1, Georgia Clay. Hartford, or Hart as he’s better known, is living at his sister’s house in Atlanta, having been fired in disgrace from his high powered job. At a friend’s birthday he comes to the rescue of Gia Bates who is the Marilyn Monroe party entertainer. There’s an instant chemistry between the 2. Gia is struggling to keep her dance studio business afloat and is working as an impersonator to earn extra cash. I really loved both of these characters. Gia is so head strong and will do everything to keep her business from going under. I loved her grit and determination. Hart is an adorable guy who just wants to everything he can to help her.
Georgia Pine In Book 2 we meet Stephen Kaufman who is Hart’s boss. We know that he’s a cheating scumbag with a beautiful wife and 4 gorgeous daughters. The book is the story of his, now ex-wife Jessica. Jessica is heartbroken by the breakdown of her marriage and is now doing everything she can to raise her 4 gorgeous daughters on her own. Tim McGill is the gardener to the homes in the posh suburban area where Jessica lives. Hiding behind a beard and long hair, Tim is making a new life for himself, using a fake surname. In reality he’s Tim Ryan, huge star of the NFL whose mistake cost his side the Superbowl. When Tim catches Jessica having a breakdown the day her divorce papers arrive, he becomes her knight in shining armour, helping her with the girls. As Tim and Jessica spend more time together they finally give in to the huge attraction they have for each other. This however causes a lot of friction in Jessica’s life. Her snobby parents and ex-husband are mortified that she’s lowered herself to be involved with such a lowlife as a gardener. Again K.G. Fletcher has given us amazing characters. Jessica’s guts and determination to raise her little girls and make others see that Tim really is a good guy is endearing. Tim is just the most adorable man. The love he has for, and the way he treats her daughters makes my heart melt. Will Tim’s secret get out? Will Tim and Jessica get the happily ever after that they deserve? I’m not going to answer those and spoil the story. Dig in and read for yourself and find out how it all ends.

Book 4 is Badge Bunny and its about Chris & Brynne who are such fun characters. Brynne is a Doctor but she seems to always fall for the wrong guy, especially guys with badges! She even has the nickname “Badge Bunny” which she hates but knows she has probably earned. Once she meets Chris who is a State Trooper at a wedding who has had a thing for Brynne since the first time they met. Will she be able to loose her nickname this time? In thefifth book Wedding War the kids of rival families are trying to save their mutual Wedding businesses. Endless Night (Dylan Hart Book 2) by R.M Gilmore 4 Stars
Vampires, Voodoo and extreme drunkenness; just another weekend in New Orleans. Tatum convinces Dylan to go to New Orleans to keep her company during some vampire convention. Dylan figures it’s the perfect opportunity to do more research for her book. Dylan is unwittingly sucked deeper into the world of vampires and in perfect Dylan style accumulates more enemies. What should have been a party filled weekend getting drunk ends up by being a weekend where she’s fighting for her life.
I really enjoyed this book. I was hoping Tatum would redeem herself in this book but unfortunately I still can’t stand her. I loved the fact that we saw more of Cyrus. I know Dylan doesn’t trust him but I like him. Sometimes Dylan is too stubborn and stupid for her own good. She gets into a lot of trouble which adds excitement and danger to this novel. All her beliefs are crumbling and the story ends on a cliffhanger. Now I’m left hanging until the next book.

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 1-3): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L. Montgomery is a great series! The first book in the series is Music Man and was a fun read. So realistic and deep in feelings. K.L. Montgomery is great with creating characters that pull you along and they feel more like friends than characters. I loved Claire, she was independent and strong but also vulnerable. Jack wore his flaws on his sleeves and they had to work to be together. It’s relatable to how relationships really are. The Flip and Plot Twist were also great reads! You can definitely see the effort that is put into all of the books. While they are standalone its nice to have them together for one super long reading session!

Omg this book was even better than the first one. It was gripping and a page turner.
We are back with Dylan Heart on a new adventure researching the lives of vampires.
Dylan has been invited by her friend Tatum and Cyrus away for the weekend. However a weekend that was supposed to be fun changed her life. In a bad way.
Dylan gets on the wrong side of a preistess who curses her. Now she is starting to see images of dead bodies and bleeding wounds. Dylan is scared to death and she flees leaving Cyrus caught in the preistess trap.
Can they solve this and break the curse she is under or will she be stuck seeing dead bodies forever.

Here’s a bit about Toya and what she’s up to in her crazy author world right now. She writes mainly paranormal and contemporary romances. She’s married with one grown up son who works on cruise ships and has a cat called Masai. She lives near Ipswich in Suffolk, originally from Essex.
At present, she is writing two series. A Paranormal Romance Series, which she is self-publishing. Book three, Sweet Salvation, The Protectors Series will be released 10th April. She is also four book in to a Beach Reads series, which is with a publisher.
She’s also working on a new paranormal romance series called Hybrid Lovers and is partway through Captivated, which is book one. This one is a ménage between two Hybrid angel/vampires and their human fated mate. No release date as yet. A contemporary romance/comedy Christmas Novella is also planned for this year.
Writing has been her passion since a very early age when her mum encouraged her to use her imagination. Sadly, it wasn’t until the death of her mum, who was also her best friend, in 2009 that she started to take it seriously. Her mother’s wish was to see her published, which didn’t occur until 2014. And now, each book she publishes is dedicated to her.

Do you love a really well written story with a serial killer, murder, danger, mystery, the paranormal- as well as a sexy MM romance? Well that’s what you will find between the covers of this sublime story. Natalina Reis delivers yet another wonderful book- and having read all her works to date, I can honestly say that this is one of my favourites of hers, so far. Aiden and Nael are such great characters- their chemistry is intense, adding an extra element of spice t the story. With Aiden’s past and the fact that Nael is a merman grabbed my attention right from the get-go. Then throw in the serial killer aspect, with an intriguing storyline, some suspense, danger, and dramatic developments- and I was hooked! I read this story in one sitting as I couldn’t put it down till I’d read every last word. Looking forward to more from Ms. Reis!

Testament of Feats is the 2nd book in the Book of Sorrows series by K.H Jones. At first I was bummed that it seemed like a whole new story. It did not pick up where book 1 left off, and for that I was sad. I wanted to know what happened with Scream and Mina. But, since I enjoyed the first book, I kept going. Glad I did, because they are later in the story. I had a hard time keeping things straight for a good portion of this book. Its several stories going on independently, then they all come together in the last 1/4 of the book. The author is very talented! There is so much going on, so many characters, and their worlds and backstories are all so detailed. I don’t normally enjoy this genre, but I really enjoyed this series. If there is a book 3, I will be reading it also! Highly recommend.

Testament of Feats: Book of Sorrows (Book Two 2) by Kimm Jones, Marshal Jones was a great 4 star read.
We pick up where we left off on the first book, so make sure you read that book first. Night Scream continues to look for his friends and encounters quite the adventure and danger. He also encounters others that have their own plans.
Will Night Scream find the Rangers? Will other agendas interfere?
Overall I really enjoyed this read. We have so many great characters in this exciting world. We get romance, suspense and so much more along with twists and turns. You get pulled right in and don’t want to stop until you are done. This world is so fascinating and the characters make it so much better. I like it when a story surprises you and this one kept me on the edge of my seat. If you’re looking for a great read I suggest this series. 1-click and get started today.

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L. Montgomery. This author knows all the right words to keep me coming back for more. Once again I’m excited to have another box set. Box sets are a great way to get to meet so many characters to love. In each of these amazing stories there’s characters that completely draw you into their world. I love the mix of comedy and steamy romance. This author just gets everything I’m wanting in a story. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. If you haven’t read them already make sure you get the first box set because you don’t want to miss any of these fantastic reads. I try not to have favorites but I think my top favorite from this set is Badge Bunny I just loved Chris and Brynne. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

This is the second book in this series so if you havent read the first one, you definitely need to. The picture painted on this book is intricate and vivid. The imagination it took was remarkable! Creativity is absolutely not in shortage for this book! And the names! They are so odd but they work! The whole book works remarkably well! A truly well done read!

Testament of Feats: Book of Sorrows (Book Two) by K.H. Jones
This book took me on an adventure that was so full of emotion. This is the second book in this series and let me just say that you should read the first book if you haven’t already for the best experience. The author did an exceptional job in writing with such detail that I felt like I was along for the adventure with the characters. In this book there is danger, twists and turns, romance, sorrow, and let’s not forget an original array of characters and world building. I truly enjoyed the first book but I have to say that I liked this one even better! I highly recommend this book. I can’t wait to read what’s next.

K.L. Montgomery’s Romance in Rehoboth boxed set 1 is so cute!!
Book 1 – Music Man I really enjoyed Music Man, the first book in the Romance in Rehoboth series! One of the more unique things I enjoyed was the timing of the beginning of the story. Instead of it starting before the two characters meet each other, you enter when they are still fairly new, but been together for about six months. I was a little skeptical at first, but it really allowed the author to take the story a step farther.
Jack Reilly is a high school band teacher. He has a young daughter he doesn’t get too see much and is currently exploring large with your heroine, Claire Sterling. When she dates him to entera small singing competion aft the restaurant they were dining at, who knew their lives would change forever.
Claire is a writer, working on a self help book and had a column in The New York Times. She had a teenage son and some crazy neighbors.
I quickly adored the chatacters in this story. Some were quirky, some you didn’t like at first, and some you didn’t like at all. The wonderful writing helped with that! Great job with this story! It had all the feels and I couldn’t put it down!
Book 2 – The Flip I loved the second installment of the Romance of Rehoboth series! We met Drew, or Andrew, in the first story as a member of Jack’s buddy and bandmate. This book was fun and witty. The banter between Andrew and Sonnet was something else! I found myself laughing out loud a lot!
Sonnet Jayne is a Rocket Scientist, literally. She is a great example of what women interested in the sciences can be! I loved that the author made her an awesome role model like character. She has changed a lot since her high school days when she new Andrew.
Andrew Clark hasn’t done much with his life since high school. He bartends in town and plays in a band. Sounds pretty cliche, right? But as Sonnet finds out, there is much more to Andrew. But has he changed since high school?
Andrew and Sonnet inherit a house from Andrew’s Aunt Penny in Bethany Beach. They both have lots of memories with Aunt Penny and at that house. Can a sunmer together flipping her house bring them together?
I truly enjoyed this book and cannot wait for the next one!

Montgomery Review by Kari Williams
This is the first series I have read from this author and now she has a new fan. I absolutely love small town romance but these books exceeded all my expectations. This box set includes the first three books of the series. The first book is Music Man, then The Flip, and the third is Plot Twist. You can read these books as stand-alones. These books have no cliffhanger so you get to know what happens in all of the books. I loved every book and I can’t wait to read more.
Music Man
Claire is turning the big 4-0 and she is not afraid. She has her new Rockstar boyfriend. Claire is a well known author but she can’t get into her writing. When she sees a singing contest she enters Jack into it. Claire is so excited for him to live his dream. She is in complete shock when Jack goes on a small tour. Claire quickly realizes that Jack is changing but is it his choice? Will Claire’s choice backfire and break them apart or will it make them even more close?
The Flip Sonnet can’t stand Andrew and it all started in high school. She always had to be better than him at everything. Sonnet and Andrew always competed to be better than one another. Ten years later Sonnet is made heir to her great aunt’s property. She is so excited until she finds out Andrew is also in the contract. Sonnet has to get along with her high nemesis. This cabin needs work so they set aside their differences to get it ready to sell. Will they be able to flip this house or is there another reason they got put together?
Plot Twist Lindy Larson has a beautiful voice that would make her a star but she rather be behind the scenes. Her friends tell her to try out for a show that another friend wrote. You might remember Claire. Lindy gets a part that she is happy about. She is loving her life but she is missing something, love. Lindy never dated because she is taking care of her older parents. She is also plus sized and most guys just want to be friends. Lindy meets the handsome Meric Chandler and she gets these feelings she is not used to. They slowly get to know one another and become very close. Lindy feels the chemistry but does Meric? Meric tells Lindy about his past and that he doesn’t want a relationship right now. Will Lindy change his mind about love or will she be just another friend?

Montgomery – Review by Heather Bass
I adored each of the stories in this boxed set by K.L. Montgomery. Music Man is the first book in the Romance in Rehoboth series, and was by far my favorite story in the set. This book portrays Claire and Jack’s story in a very romantic but comical way. Claire has just turned 40, a momentous occasion in any woman’s life, and now finds herself falling in love with a rockstar. But you can’t really blame her, with Jack’s passion for music and his rockstar look, who wouldn’t fall for him. Then there is his relationship with his daughter Mariana, I couldn’t help but fall in love with him myself. I found myself rooting for Claire and Jack as they faced bumps along their road of a relationship. The author did a wonderful job describing each character and making the overall storyline flow.
