A Gentleman’s Stipulation (The Scarlet Salon Book 4) by Jean Wilde is a historical romance story where the characters usually start out not liking each other and fall in love. I really enjoyed the banter between the two and found myself wanting them to have their HEA. I like something where there is a little sugar and spice and the women are sassy and equal to their partners, well as much as they can be in this period of time. The story is well written and kept me intrigued throughout. There were times when I was extremely frustrated with the characters but I did enjoy it. I did start through the series so I will now have to go back and read the others. I am intrigued to read Isabelle’s story.

A Study in Spirits is the second book in the College Fae Series by Byrd Nash. Although I didn’t read the first book in this series, I had no problem jumping right into this story. I enjoyed this book so much, I will be going back and reading the first book. This book was filled with magic, mystery and adventure. The world building was great and the characters were well developed. Brigit, Logan and the rest of the gang took me on a wonderful adventure that I couldn’t put down until I read the last page. Byrd Nash has a wonderful imagination and a great ability to put her thoughts into amazing stories. I highly recommend this book, series and author. Review by @sunbarn

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set is by KL Montgomery and include 3 books: Music Man, The Flip and Plot Twist. I loved every one of these books and I’m beginning to think of this author as one of my favs because I have loved every single one the books I’ve read and these 3 are no different. They’re witty and fun to read and what makes them even better is they’re all standalones. All three books have couples that have obstacles they have to overcome and struggles they have to deal with. The dreams they thought were never possible will hopefully come to true and finding love in the unexpected places. This boxset is perfect for those that love romance and I would recommend this to a friend. Happy reading.

The party continues and Dylan Hart DOES NOT disappoint. My heart deeply loves Dylan’s character and Gilmore’s writing style is proving to be an awesome adventure every single time. For full enjoyment this book should be read in series order. But Gilmore’s literary skill would allow someone to pick up this book and enjoy it thoroughly without reading the first. A fantastic adventure. I cannot wait to pick up book three!

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L. Montgomery
5 Stars
Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L Montgomery is a really fun read- and great value for money. Three books in one #WINNING!!! The boxed set is comprised of Badge Bunny (Book #4), Wedding Wars (Book #5) and Stage Mon (Book #6)- all are full-length, standalone stories, and each book centres on its own particular characters/couple. The stories differ storyline, feel and tone- but they all are set against the backdrop of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
Badge Bunny (Romance in Rehoboth Series Book #4)
Brynne Miller is a busy ER Doctor, who has a penchant for a man in uniform, dating so many that she’s earned the nickname of “Badge Bunny’ (which she hates). But, Brynne has decided that they’re all the same, full of themselves- and has sworn off them all.
Chris Everson is a State Trooper who is a bit of a man’s-man. There is a lot more to him than meets the eye. His job means he frequents the ER on ‘business’. He’s immediately attracted to Brynne, but she is quite prickly and doesn’t give him a chance.
Brynne’s first impression of Chris was less than impressive- he annoys and frustrates her. But these two find themselves at the same wedding- and a major crisis demands that they work together to handle the situation.
With them both keeping things close to their chests, what happens when everything is revealed? Will Brynne let go of her first impression of Chris, admit that she’s attracted to him, and give him a chance? Does romance ever stand a chance of developing?
Wedding War (Romance in Rehoboth Series Book #5)
Jason Friday`s family operates a local business catering to grooms. They are the sworn enemies of Hannah Robinson’s family- who owns the local Bridal shop. The feud has been on-going, but what happens when a wedding one stop shop chain store sets up shop in town? These two will need to come together to take on the big business, and find a way to work together to save both their family businesses. What happens here makes for a funny and very romantic story! Definitely one of my favourites of the series, so far!
Stage Mom (Romance in Rehoboth Series Book #6)
Larissa is a single mother with a special needs daughter who is participating in the Little Miss Rehoboth pageant. Larissa is determined to ensure that her daughter is treated like all the other children in the pageant.
Mateo is the new director, his family have been running the pageant for years, but this is the first time that Mateo has been trusted to oversee the whole thing by himself. He has a lot riding on this. He has some radical ideas for improving the show- but not everyone likes change.
The chemistry between the two starts to sizzle as these two try to hide their attraction. Getting involved will only complicate things even more. Won’t it?
Such a great story!!!
As I have said so many times before, I love all Ms. Montgomery’s stories- she really is a gifted storyteller, and is easily able to pull readers into her ‘world’, keeping them connected and captivated the whole way through. I love how her stories depicts characters who are realistic, relatable, and entirely believable.
This box set really is worth your time and money, not only is it a great buy, you get three wonderful, full length stories to enjoy. #WINNING!!

Romance in Rehoboth boxed set book 4-6 was a great collection of books you don’t want to miss out on. These books all focus on different couples and every reader gets to decide which couple is their favorite or which book is your favorite. I really enjoyed this set of books. There was the romance and the teasing fun that kept me going in these books. My favorite had to be Chris and Brynne. I think they are one of my top 5 favorites. The characters are ones you can relate to and will find yourself loving throughout the books. The author did a great job as always giving the readers characters we can love.

Love is What You Bake of it (The Meraki Series Book 1) by Effie Kammenou
Pastry chefs have a very special place in my heart, my older daughter is one and I know the work and dedication it takes to be successful. Kally has worked extremely hard to have a successful business and the pride she has in that comes through.
Max is starting over in his hometown. He got my respect early on when I found out a little more about him and as I learned more my respect for him grew. He is definitely the type of guy any parent would be happy to see their daughter bring home.
I believe it’s the little details that add so much to a book and Ms. Kammenou did a great job with the little details about each of the characters and their stories. I really loved learning a little more about the Greek culture and cuisine and I look forward to getting to know the Andarakis family more and watch each of them develop and grow.

The story Testament of Feats: Book of Sorrows Book Two by K.H. Jones is a dark fantasy book. It will pull you in until the very last page because you become hooked. Like in the previous book the author has a way with the description that brings the characters and pages come to life in such a unique way. You can’t help but feel you are there in the book experience these with them. I highly recommend this book for the adventure it will take you on.

What a great read! I loved this book and the characters in it. Kally and Max both bring a lot to the table separately and their story just hooked me and didn’t let me go. I really felt like i was in the book with them and Max’s daughter, I loved her from the instant we met her. This book really has it all and I will be reading more from this author in the future.

Midnight in the House of Lang, by Bree M. Lewandowski is a sweet little romance. There is sadness in it, but isn’t that like real life. I especially like the way the author describes grief, because that’s exactly what it feels like. There is so much hope in this story and so much happiness that the grief doesn’t bury you. The romance between Thea and Irek is a precious thing to behold, but the love between a man and a woman isn’t the only kind of love and this book makes that clearly evident. There is humor, there is drama, there is adventure, and plenty of action. This story has it all. Ms.Lewandowski has a new fan.

Just when I thought it couldn’t get better boy was I wrong I think this one knocked it out of the park. Wow is an understatement. I’m going to say if you haven’t read the first book in this series do it you won’t regret it. I can’t tell you how much I I freaking love the character Dylan Hart she’s such a bad ass and love her snarky attitude. So in this story we find Dylan being invited to New Orleans by a old acquaintance .Once there she finds she has a new foe. Is she in danger? How much danger? Will she survive this trip? I found myself on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what happens next and times I was laughing out loud while shaking my head. Find out what happens next in this suspense story that is a must read. I can’t hardly wait to get my hands on the next book.

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 1-3): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L. Montgomery
I loved all three books in this series. Each of these are standalone stories and wonderful in their own way. These books have wonderful heroines and great male characters as well. Each of these stories are not without obstacles but those are overcome and there is romance and love to be found. This author warmed my heart and made me laugh with her ability to draw me into these relatable stories and got me invested in the characters. I highly recommend this box set, it has a little bit of something for everyone in each of these books.

This isn’t my typical romance read with the historical twist to it but I most certainly was not disappointed in this novel from Jean Wilde. I have also not read her other work but for some reason the teasers pulled me into this novel and I was determined to see what would play out for these characters. I loved how this may have been an historical romance but it felt fresh enough that I did not find myself bored. The characters have some serious love/hate scenarios that kept me hooked to the kindle to see how things would play out and if they would end up loving each other for who they were in the long run and happy. You will have to read the story for yourself to find out but I can assure you won’t be disappointed you did. This is also the fourth book in a series but I didn’t have any issue reading it out of order and am now intrigued enough to see what the first three books entail as well and seeing if there will be more in the series to come!

I had no idea what I was walking into with Midnight in the House of Lang by Bree M Lewandowski. She is a new author to me and dystopian novels usually don’t get to the top of my reading list. I had to know what this book was all about once I saw the cover and the blurbs that came with it. I love the idea that steampunk plays a heavy role in the story as this normally fascinates me. I am so glad that I gave this one a chance and a read as this book was nothing like what you would expect. I normally struggle with an overt amount of details that we are bombarded with in most dystopian books but in this one it was as if a beautiful painting was being done in front of me of this magnificent both scary and gorgeous new world that Lewandowski has created. I imagine the colors are vibrant with the dusty hues of the old days when things felt safe. We find ourselves following Thea through and adventure in the year 3034. Thea is starved for a less fancy and ruled life and craves both freedom and normalcy. She may not get exactly what she asks for when she meets the handsome man who will be the center of her attention. I loved so much about this story and I am anxious to see what will come next from Bree M Lewandowski!

Anger by Mina Chara is the second book in the Hero High series. This is a series that needs to be read in order. This book carries on right from where the first book finishes. It is full of intrigued and mystery. It is such an exciting book to read. I was absolutely hooked right from the start and it really felt like the pages were turning themselves. This is such a brilliant series and one that I am genuinely enjoying. I cannot wait to see what else is to come.

I have fallen so deeply for Gio and Serena. Their story so far is full of so many moving parts and it’s not over yet. I just don’t know how Serena is still holding it together because her adventures in these books have totally worn me out. It must be love LOL
The action and suspense is nonstop and I felt like I was right there during all of it. That’s just how this author writes, she reels you in and then doesn’t let go even after you have read the last word, especially knowing there is more to come.
I had some questions after the 1st book and the ones that mattered were answered for me in this one. I love how so many characters we have met as far back as the first series are still weaving in and out as well as meeting some new characters along the way.
This was a perfect addition to this series and you might want to have a fan handy while reading.
As usual I can not wait for the next and if you have not read any of these books yet, look them up and go all the way to the start of all of these stories..I promise you will not be sorry!

A Study in Spirits: A College Fae Magic Series #2 was an interesting read. When Brigit, a fae princess, is accused of stealing the answers to a test and she sets out to clear her name. However, in the process of uncovering who really did it they start to uncover some mysterious goings on within the college library. The group of friends must utilise their special skills to uncover the truth and stop all the knowledge being removed from existence. This book is perfect for those who enjoy a good fantasy novel, the group of characters work well together and have a strong bond, when new girl Emma joins them, she seems to find her place. The supporting characters are also quite interesting, I hope to find out more about them in the next book.

Let me just start this review off by saying I enjoy reading to my boys. I have 2 sons: A 5-year old and a 4-mo.-old (close to 5) months and they love learning and enjoying time together just as much as I enjoy reading for them and to them. This book did not disappoint and I wanted to read it because lately my son has been having a problem with being obedient as he’s growing into his own. Anyway, here goes what I got from the book: Jake, the dog, is off to a new environment (daycare) but he doesn’t know what to expect. He’s on alert because he’s in a new place and he has to try new things. He’s trying to prepare but he needs help. Maybe something familiar can help ease his mind in this setting. He’s pretty comfortable where he’s been: At home with his comfy bed, his great friends, and his daily walk on his favorite trail. He’s worried about how the other pups will see him and get to know him. Scared, Jake runs away, as he doesn’t want to leave his home for someplace new and scary. Little does he know his best friend, Neet and his family are there to comfort him. Jake is gonna try to embrace the new place and try out new things. Turns out he’s not the only one feeling uneasy in this new situation of his. Everybody needs friendship and empathy and that’s just how Jake’s family comforts him.

Love Is What You Bake Of It is the first book in the Meraki series by Effie Kammanou. Effie Kammenou is a brand new author to me and I’m now wishing that I had discovered her work sooner as I absolutely loved this book. In this book Kallyope (Kally) Andarakis is loving life as the proud owner of coffee shop ‘The Coffee Klatch’. She has a wonderful, supportive, if not a bit overbearing, family who she adores. One thing she doesn’t have is the love of a good man. Having struggled to get over the loss of a man she loved years previously, she has sworn off men. Max Vardaxis has moved back home with his young daughter Athena following the tragic loss of her mother. He wants to start a new life for him and Athena and provide her with some stability in her life. That certainly does not include a woman. Well, that is until he comes face to face with Kally. This is a great romance story that has so much packed into it’s pages. It takes us back to the past to witness events from years ago, not just for Kally and Max but also other family members whose stories are essential to add to the plot of this one. The story is very well written with a great flowing storyline and really great, realistic characters who all add so much to the story. Max and Kally’s story will provide laughs and tears and drag so many emotions from you. As with any true romance, the path does not go smoothly. There are misunderstandings between the 2 and also parts of their pasts that come back to cause problems. I’d definitely recommend that you read this book if you like a good romance novel.

A Gentleman’s Stipulation is the 4th book in the Scarlet Salon Series by Jean Wilde. Each book in this series can be read as a standalone. I had not previously read any of the other books in this series before this one. In fact this was my first book by this author. I did not feel as if I was missing any necessary information to enjoy the book although I’d like to read some of the others now since I enjoyed this one very much. A Gentleman’s Stipulation is a regency romance novel with a good bit more steam than many other regency romances I’ve ever read. I though the author did a great job of setting the scene in regency England and I was drawn into the story from the very beginning. The story involves Lady Victoria Gilbert who is looking for a husband before she gets any older and is considered too old to marry and Blake Hall who is not looking for a bride yet. When a situation brings the 2 of them together Blake does the gentlemanly thing and announces Victoria as his fiancé. There are a few major problems: One, she doesn’t like him and two, he has a few stipulations to add to the deal. Can Victoria and Blake put aside the fact that Victoria doesn’t like or trust him? Can Victoria agree to the stipulations that Blake has added? I suggest you read this great book and find out for yourself. I guarantee that you won’t be disappointed. It’s a really great read.

Forbidden Desires: Taken by her Son’s Best Friend (Confessions of a Trophy Wife Book 1) By L.M. Mountford 5 out of 5 stars
The story Forbidden Desires: Taken by her Son’s Best Friend (Confessions of a Trophy Wife Book 1) by L.M. Mountford is a steamy older woman/younger man story. It has plenty of passion and desire. In the story, you are introduced to Elizabeth Clarke who seems to have a perfect life. Looks however can be deceiving. She feels trapped. She also finds herself interested in Hugh Becket. High is Elizabeth’s sons’ best friend, forbidden. Read this book to find out what happens. The story kept my interest all the way through. It is a short tale that pulled me in, and I found myself reading it all in one sitting. I loved the characters of Elizabeth and Hugh. I found myself wanting to know more about them. I would recommend reading this book.

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series By K.L. Montgomery 5 out of 5 stars
The stories in Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L. Montgomery are books that I loved reading. They have amazing storylines and characters that come alive as you are reading. I love the back and forth banter that occurs between the main characters as well as their interactions between the other characters in the stories. These books are romantic and had my emotions going up and down. I felt like I was right there with the characters and I found myself caring about what happens to them, always hoping that they find happiness. Will Chris and Brynne, Jason and Hannah, as well as Larissa and Mateo all find their happy ever after? Read these books to find out. There are times when reading that I would be laughing out loud at what happens and there are also heartwarming moments. I was always wondering what was going to happen next. Don’t miss out on three amazing stories in this incredible series. I highly recommend them.

This is not my first book by this author but it is my favorite. This author is fast becoming one of my go to author’s when I am looking for something steamy. This is a well written story that has characters that brought the story to life. They bring forbidden romance and steam. Elizabeth had it all except for a cheating husband. Just when she thought she would never get rid of her caged up feeling her son’s best friend comes back to town. Problem is that he is forbidden but will she be able to stay away from this hot, steamy, sexy guy? This is a shorter story that will heat up any night. It is a fast paced, engaging story that I couldn’t put down and read it in one sitting. I highly recommend this book and this author.

In this book, we find Lady Victoria Gilbert who is battling her heart and mind, her needs and her desires, but which will she choose? She’s not gonna settle for the detestable Mr. Blake Hall nonetheless. Heir to a million dollar throne, doesn’t have a desire to settle down. After being turned down, he’s given up on trying to impress the likes of the debutantes in London’s high society. Lady Victoria is a spitfire for Mr. Blake Hall who seems smitten with all she has to offer. The two are thrown together by unexpected circumstances as their unlikely union shapes and throws them together. Embark on this cynical and steamy that will definitely be a page-turner! You won’t regret it.

She sees fit to get to know more about her new neighbor, Matt Goodridge. Matt works long hours in a demanding career and doesn’t like to converse about his former life. He’s interested in his new neighbor but she’s been asking a rapid amount of questions that he hasn’t been able to get a word in edgewise. Kat has a damning secret that could ruin her onscreen life and her personal life. Will she expose her hand or keep it all bottled in? This book is juicy and steamy from start to finish. Great characters. Great dialogue. Very impressive read!

The intrigue and mystery of this one will catch you by your bootstraps and keep you hooked from the beginning. Miri’s grandma has passed but she died with a secret. After such a heartbreaking blow, she’s left alone and isolated in a boarding school in a new state. Miri discovers she’s special in a very magical way when bullied at school that her grandma’s secret didn’t die with her after all. In the first of this series, we meet and go into the adventures of the Partnership for Animagi, Werewolves and Shapeshifters, better known as P.A.W.S. of St. Louis. Adorable character, Kally Andarakis sweeps us off our feet as she’s heavily indebted in her cafe business, The Coffee Klatch. Kally never believed she deserved love or the happiness it brings. That is until she meets an addictive stranger who is above her means but he comes with challenges. Kally is heartbroken and ill-trusting after some secrets are revealed during a misadventure. Eight years down line, we find Kally living the life as it is as perfect as she’s always dreamed of. That’s when she meets Max Vardaxis, an unexpected stranger, others bring her life into a tailspin from meddling relatives arguing back and forth to an energized grandma. Kally is also trying to solve the mystery of what happened to her grandfather while balancing Max is a whole other story. In this book we find out if Kally is to take another risk (all for love) or shut it down as she’s done in the past. I enjoyed reading this one. So many unexpected and unpredictable turns. Kally’s life is as unpredictable as ours is in reality. Juicy read. Another page-turner. I may have to re-read it!
