Finally, we get a story for Johnathan Gage! I have been dying to see what this author would give him, and just like the last two, could be read as a stand alone, full of spice, and action. I’m so happy he got his happy ending, because it was so sad for me in the last two books watching him start to pine for a woman only to have her fall in love with his friends. Overall, I think this is my favorite from the series, and it’s for sure one I’m going to read again.

Overall I enjoyed the story, it was a short read but the author didn’t really make it feel rushed nor did it lack any attention to detail. The main characters Zenni and Colton were interesting to read about. I really liked Colton, he was quite relatable and I have to admit at the beginning of the story I wasn’t too sure I would like him but I definitely grew to love him as the story progressed. Zenni was an intriguing character for me because she was actually nothing like I anticipated she would be, I imagined shed be all for the tearing down of something that represented pain and suffering to so many people in history but I could also understand her point of view in wanting it to remain. I could definitely feel the sexual tension between the two of the characters, that was for sure! I did enjoy the story, I really do love this authors work so I look forward to more from them in the future.

Marvel is quite the character. Very gruff and doesn’t trust any woman. He teases the other members relentlessly for having an old lady. I like his attitude and you learn all about why he is the way he is. Virginia is a woman who has been through hell and then some. I couldn’t even begin to imagine how I’d deal with her situation. Marvel and Virginia meet at a very unlikely place and in a scary situation. This book will keep you reading long into the night. This author never ever disappoints.

This book was beyond epic! I was captivated by the story, and the characters that it had possessed. I loved the action, and the whole good vs evil concept as well. There was defiantly some strong character growth as well. I loved the characters and really felt a connection to them, and I will be for sure reading the next installments in the series! I am very much looking forward to it! The whole story itself was captivating. Throw in the strong-willed characters that the book contained, and you truly have a masterpiece! I was astounded in moments as I read, for there was moments where I was not sure what to expect or a clear resolution how to get out of a situation. Linh was a character impossible not to love. She was a great lead to the story, and I loved her heart of never wanting to give up. To have a good leader, you need an enemy as well. This book had that and so much more! The book was a thrilling rollercoaster, and a adventure I am glad to say I took part on! Loved this book! If you’re seeking an adventure that defies the normal genre of an adventure, then look no further! This book had its own level of awesomeness, and it was a must read! Truly do highly recommend reading!

I have enjoyed reading this series from the start. I enjoyed how the author’s writing skills and attention to details made the stories pop. I am sad to see this series end but excited to see what is next for this author. This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up as I know that I am in for a non stop adventure. This is a series that I highly suggest reading from the beginning. It will help you enjoy this series, the characters and this author’s writing style. This book is no different. I enjoyed being pulled into the story by the characters from the start. They are connectable, creative and supportive of each other. They took me on a nonstop adventure that was hard to put down. Dahlia finds herself in a race against time and dealing with the dragon inside that is itching to get out. You don’t want to miss what happens with her. She is a great character that truly makes the story for me. She is a strong character that brings the story to life and had me coming back for more. This is a fast paced story that is entertaining and easy to read. This is a great story that I highly recommend. A great series that you don’t want to miss by a great author.
I enjoyed this young adult fantasy story. This is a newer author for me which I enjoyed her writing skills as well as her attention to details that made the story realistic. I found this story to be creative and well written. The characters pulled me in from the beginning. They are connectable and have great growth throughout. A story that is full of action, betrayal, survival of life, abductions and you don’t want to miss the assassins. This is a fast paced, engaging story that was hard to put down. The plot had great growth which made the story easy to read as well as entertaining. This is a story that filled my afternoon with adventure and action. I really enjoyed this story and I highly recommend it.

This is a book young adult fantasy fans may enjoy. A little time travel, a bit of rival kingdoms and a conflict that will bring hard decisions. Linh and Ruarnon must work together to solve this dilemma. I found this story interesting. The story had lots of details. The characters were very well written and their personalities were pretty well-defined. The plot was intense but choppy at times, a bit hard to follow. Over all, fantasy lovers will enjoy this book.

A fun, witty romantic read was just what I needed this week and this more than delivered for me! I fell in love with the wonderful characters right from the first few pages and couldn’t wait to see what fun and havoc was going to come their way. I just knew right from the start that Melodie was going to be the one to shake things up for Isaac. This read left me light hearted and hopeful. What a wonderful author to create such feelings in her readers.

Wow this is so far from the last book I read by Melinda but then again, she is a multi-genre writer. Her Rom Com books are quick to read. Unabridged had me laughing at this romance and the wit in which Melinda writes her characters. The story is told in the Heroines POV. I would have loved to get the male POV as well.
Being rich and handsome are not everything, although they certainly help but it was time for Angelina to move on. Blade had his heart broken and decides he needs a change of pace. However, they soon realise how bittersweet it is that they cross paths once again. Then the fun begins.
If you are looking for a little feel-good afternoon escape grab a copy and enjoy.

This is the first book I have read by this author and didn’t realise that it was the second book until I was over half way through. I didn’t feel like I missed anything because Winter gave us enough information from the first book. So, reading as a standalone is no problem. It is a crime thriller that is suspenseful and intriguing. The story is told in third person and has intense thrills, spills and chills and has a lot of grit. It is a haunting tale of murder and mayhem, vengeance and power, mystery and obsession that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat. The mixed cast of characters are complex and fully realised and likeable.
This is one series you don’t want to pass by. Prepare to be captivated by Winter’s writing skills.

Oh my goodness, this is book 2 of the Evil Sushi series. Sashimi is a wicked evil mermaid type monster and Aileen is out for revenge. It’s hard to to keep up with who’s more trouble-General Talbot (idiot military) or the Evil Sushi (creeping ocean and more). Aileen, Rod and Ned are facing challenge after challenge. Susy is part of that challenge. They do their best to come up with ways to stop it but it seems their is some evolution going on? Man, I’m loving this story. Aileen is already pissed because Sashimi snacked on her brother Charlie and left him all but dead. Aileen is pretty badass and strong. She’s going to get through this. She has one more brother to protect. She find’s out Susy is being naughty and calls her out. Go, Aileen! Rod deserves better. The writing is such that you root for these guys while hoping the worthless military that is left get eaten. The characters are great. Ned is your average older man just trying to make a living and now disappointed in his kid. Aren’t most of us? The plot flows smooth for going back and forth a bit. The theme throughout the story is conservation and I love how the author took that and ran with it. That ocean life fight back. I can’t wait for book 3 in the series. This book also has a creepiness factor because it just might make me not want to put my feet in the ocean. It’s a really good book and I recommend it. So good and so creepy at times. It will make you think about things.

This book has just become my favourite of the series, so far- but it ends on a cliffhanger- so I really need the next book STAT. A Tormented Man’s Soul: Part One is the fifth book in the Grimm Wolves MC series by D.M Earl. As the title would suggest, this book will tug on your heartstrings, as we follow our tormented MC. I really felt for him, but there were times I wanted to shake him. His past and secrets reallly weighed heavily on his soul. He has such an intimidating and scary reputation and appearance- but inside he is in turmoil. Secrets can be so toxic as we discover, add plenty of tension, danger, angst, and heartaching emotion and this story kept me completely invested in all the developments, right till the end- leaving me clamouring for more. The story is set to continue in the next instalment, so I will be diving into that as soon as it hits my Kindle. I really recommend reading the previous books in the series before embarking on this journey, as there are recurring characters and pertinent information, backstory, and important information contained there that will help you to better appreciate this story… and any yet to come. If you love intriguing MC romance with an original spin- emotion, drama, danger brotherhood, bonds, tension, and banter- then this is definitely the story/series for you. Happy Reading!

I didn’t know what to expect when first opening “Springs Calling” by Sarah Biglow. I have to say Sarah did not disappoint. Springs Calling is an urban crime fantasy with tons of twists and turns that keep you on edge. After losing her mother to a murder that everyone pretended did not happen, Ezri Trenton vowed to solve the murder herself. Now as a Boston rookie detective she is finally has the resources to do it. Solving her mothers murder is not easy especially when Sarah is hiding that she is a Witch and if she doesn’t already have enough on her plate, she is trying to solve a string of murder which seem to be related to a prophecy that just so happens to declare Ezri as the Savior. Ezri has amazing character development and must learn how to trust others. After a bit of a slow start, I couldn’t put this book down and have already started the next one View all my reviews

This was a quick, cute and jam packed read! For such a short novel it was very descriptive and immersive. I felt drawn into the story and with the characters from the beginning. While I enjoyed it I felt it was pretty predictable. And saying that, because I felt itbwas predictable, it was a fun time killing read. I did enjoy this book and I can’t wait to read more from the author in the future!
A romantic comedy that will draw you into its pages and make you laugh, gasp and feel everything your characters do. I enjoyed this story and really loved the characters. In my opinion stories are always better if you can bond with the characters. My only complaint (and the reason I gave it four stars) is that the story line was missing those little details that rounds out a really great story. I am hopeful the next in this series will be the perfect blend of storyline and lovable characters.

After reading the synopsis I was really looking forward to reading this book. I am not sure if I hyped it up so much that I let myself down but I found the book to be a bit blasé. The details were not impressively laid out and the storyline didn’t draw me into the story. That said the characters were good but needed fleshed out and some of the background information seems to make little connection with the story. Ezri could be a lot more than she is and I have hopes that the second book will have all those amazing, unique details that bring a story to life. I can see how this could be a really magical, suspenseful and captivating series. I truly hope book two will bring this interesting story to life.

This was a great 5 star read. This is Marvel and Virginia’s story. They meet when Marvel is in the bank and a robbery occurs, bringing these two together. While hiding and waiting for help they talk to each other and share things about their pasts. Little does Virginia know that being caught on camera will change things for her and bring Marvel to her rescue. Will he be able to help her? Can they find happiness together?
Overall this was a great read. The characters had great chemistry and I really enjoyed their story. The author does a great job with her writing and you are done before you know it. I continue to enjoy this series and I can’t wait to read more from this author. 1-click and get started today.

I’ve never read a book like this. It pits God against God or mythical creature, all to prove a point. This book shows the arrogant and dismissive nature of gods and how they run the world to entertain themselves and for their own pleasures. Can Cupid prove his job is too hard for Mother Nature? Or will he lose on his first chance to prove himself? Read this book if you enjoy fantasy and amusement.
I am thoroughly enjoying this series. This is Chains story, he is the Enforcer of the Grimm Wolves MC. Chains has been through a lot in his life from growing up in an awful foster home which has left him scarred. Jackson and Winnie are the two people who helped through the hardest time of his life and the three of them are extremely close. Chains has been hiding a part of his life from his MC family. This book is full of emotion, suspense, love, family, danger and so much more. This author draws you right into the story and keeps you entertained through its entirety. I cannot wait for the next part because I am now hooked and need to know what happens. This is a book and series you don’t want to miss out on.

Finding Melodie and The Wedding Boxset by Laura Rossi was an enjoyable romantic comedy! It was an entertaining romance and the perfect blend of sweetness and spice with some really great humor sprinkled throughout the book.
Can I just say how much I loved our heroine, Melodie, aka Pixie! She really was like a magic fairy who sprinkled magical dust into the lives of those she loved and cared about. Her quirkiness and happy outlook complemented good guy, Isaac, aka Office Boy. I loved how she helped him remember the joy of living and how he gave her the security and trust she craved.
The first book, Finding Melodie, tells the tale of how Melodie and Isaac fell in love. It’s somewhat a friends-to-lovers and fake relationship romance. The story itself is sweet with some dashes of spice. The book opens with her telling us how she has been crushing on Issac or as she calls him, Office Boy, for many months. When he acknowledges her for the first time, it isn’t in the way she was hoping. However, she doesn’t realize at the time that this is the first step towards her own HEA.
The second book, The Wedding, opens with their engagement and not long after, Melodie, meeting his parents which is quite memorable and hilarious. Let’s just say our Pixie’s magic dust does not work with Isaac’s mother AT ALL! The events leading up to the big day made me laugh but also made me angry at some of the characters. Rossi nails the stress of wedding planning and future in-laws. As with the first book, multiple characters narrate the book which gives readers more insight to their personalities.
I enjoyed the way the writer wrote in both books. It was like the characters were casually talking to me over coffee about how they came to fall in love and all the hilarious and at times, painful and frustrating events leading up to their wedding. I was quite sad to tell them good-bye. And, Rossi gave us one more little surprise, a sneak peek into the story of Melodie’s parents, Agatha and Stephen. I cannot wait to read that one!!!!

Spring’s Calling is one of the absolute BEST books I have read in the last couple years!! It is the perfect blend of relatable characters, action, & mystery! You can’t help wanting to be friends with the sassy female lead and root for her!! Not only is the story absolutely awesome, but the character development is a work of art. It is wonderfully written as well! I cannot recommend this book enough! Seriously, I have already ordered the next three!!

Once again our author delivers us a wonderful book full of pain, heartbreak, suspense, and so much sorrow that you better have a box of tissues on hand. Much like the previous books in this series this book is a definite page turner and of course I find myself wanting more due to this one ending in a cliff hanger. The plot is perfectly written and the character development is incredible. Personally this is becoming one of my favorite series and I can’t wait to see what our author gives us next.

I always enjoy this author! I really love how her books flow and keep you reading to know more! When Cupid makes a bet things get interesting. Even more when Mother Nature thinks his job is easy. Spring gets caught in the cross fire without even knowing it. I love Springs go with the flow personality and caring heart. I really like watching Mother Nature grow and discover that things aren’t always as they seem! I definitely can’t wait to read the others in this series!

A Tormented Man’s Soul-Part 1: Grimm Wolves MC Series (Book 5) by D.M. Earl Five Stars
This is one of the best series I have read in a long time. The characters are amazingly strong with depth and heart. You wouldn’t think it about a MC club, but I love how they interact with friends and family. Don’t get me wrong, there is plenty of violence and mayhem. This is Chains, Winnie and Jackson’s story and it is wonderfully thought out. I feel the character’s pain and triumph. I couldn’t put this book down. My only disappointment is I have to wait a little while for Part 2. Truly Excellent Read!

Ezri grows up knowing that she has a prophecy to fulfill. When her mother is murdered tragically, and everyone seems to be fine with sweeping it under the rug, she vows to find her mother’s killer. Once she becomes a detective, she sets out to find out more about her mom’s death. However, murders around the Vernal Equinox begin happening around the city and she has to solve them first. Can she solve the murders before she has to fulfill the prophecy? Or are they part of it? Will she be able to find her mother’s murderer?
This is my first time reading this author and I really enjoyed it! The story flowed smoothly with the backstory interspersed at the right moments in the book. Ezri is a very angry, hurt person that has to move past her feelings of self-imposed isolation and allow others to help her fulfill her destiny. Past friends and family that she cut off come to her aid and show her grace in their assistance. I feel like the author did a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life in my mind. I enjoyed the way they interacted and related to each other.
This book was a good, clean language, detective-fantasy book!

Eros Cupid is the god in charge of love, he is one of many deities who live their everlasting lives and sometimes, that can mean boredom and resulting ramifications on humanity, but not everyone appreciates how difficult his job is, so when he goes to a club just for immortals, to play some cards, he finds that the others there cannot resist a good bet. The history of the outcomes of these bets isn’t always positive, they have led to wars, suffering and these tricks were all a matter of pride and achieving the gods place in the hierarchy.
As he plays his hands, the conversation turns to him and his lifestyle, as it usually does, however when his role is disparaged yet again, Cupid decides that he wants that to change and so he challenges the other gods and a wager is placed, four of the players decide that they will bet that they can do Cupid’s job with their eyes closed, so the bet is taken and each challenger is told that they have to unite a couple of mortals and see that at true love match is made.
As there are four challengers, it is decided that each will have a session within which they have to complete the challenge, so the seasons are dealt out and as Spring is the first season up, it is natural that Mother Nature takes it on. Will this challenge go for or against Cupid and will Mother Nature find love as easy to cultivate as plants? This is a paranormal romance where gods play and humans are the pieces, but with magic and feelings involved, this is one story which will plant roots and grow your enjoyment as the story progresses.

A Tormented Man’s Soul Part One (Grimm Wolves MC Series Book 5) By DM Earl 5 Stars
I was so happy to finally get a book about Chains. We’ve been learning bits and pieces about him throughout the series. In the last book, we found out more about his past that left me intrigued to find out more. Chains has a hard time melding his two worlds together. As the enforcer of the MC, he believes that he should be tough and without weakness. If his brothers ever found out about his other life, he fears that they would never accept him. He’s terrified that he would lose the only stability in his life, his brothers. Keeping secrets is never a good idea and in his case it is life threatening.
This book is definitely a page turner. Filled with drama and suspense, pain and devastation. I was on edge the whole time. The author added some surprises in this book and a twist to the ending. Warning: this book is heartbreaking and ends on a cliffhanger. I’m anxiously waiting for the next book.

Spring’s Showers (Romantically Seasonal Series) by C.A. King 4 Stars
Out of all the gods, Cupid is the most ridiculed. The other gods believe he is the weakest amongst them and has the easiest job. Uniting two people in true love takes skill and Eros plans to prove it. Placing a bet with four gods, he challenges them to do his job in their respective seasons. The rules are simple: find two people, help them fall in love without using magic. Respect is at stake. If they are unable to accomplish the task, they must admit that Eros has the harder job and pay him the respect that he deserves.
In this book, Mother Nature is up first. Spring is her season and she’s sure she’s going to win. Finally settling on a town, she finds her target. She soon realizes that’s it not as easy as she thought. Love flows throughout the book and lessons are learned. This is a cute story and a good start to this series. Looking forward to see how the other gods will take on the challenge.
