Ways to Improve Bailey by Cori Cooper – Review by Ashley Hasting

Ways to Improve BaileyWays to Improve Bailey by Cori Cooper
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

It all started with a list. Dayton has a list of imperfections for Bailey. Bailey ends up on a little date with Tanner at Froyo. This actually leads to more. There’s a cute, clean romance here. I love the whole story and kind of wished for more indepth of the characters like Tanner, but overall a great read!

You’ve got a nice period piece with MMF. This all happens I’m San Francisco when Suzette enters the city. Isaac and Walter have always been there for each other, and have always had this connection. When Suzette came in, she brought up the connection and had them all come together. Then her past comes in with a vengeance. So much happens and it’s great! I didn’t know it was part of a series, so this is a great stand alone!

He basically has to choose between going back to Earth, or stay in the magic realm, and help keep magic alive. He has to go through a lot of adventures to find his way, figure out his destiny, his magic, and figure out his love for Katryna. This was a great third book for the trilogy. This is the fourth installment of the series. Please make sure to read all of the books beforehand, as I missed a book, and got lost for a second and had to go back. It worked for a good catchup though, because it made this book so much better! Will and Maggie are trying to adjust in the future after escaping their death. When they find a past item from Dylan asking for help, they know it can’t be good. They must help fox the rent in time. The only problem is they don’t have a way back yet. They then go into their adventure to make it happen. Dylan also has his own problem in the past. It’s a great story that I had to keep reading to finish!

Obedience (Ties That Bind Book 1) Audiobook by Liza Snow – Review by Ashley Hasting

There is SO much romance, drama, and suspense in this one book alone! You’ve got Cassandra, who has grown up to one day, become an aerialist like her inspiration, Chandler Monroe. She ends up meeting and working with him at the Dreamers Academy, and there is really where their true story unfolds. I truly kept myself at the end of my chair reading this and couldn’t stop. I’m so glad I found this book, and can’t wait to read the next!

God of Fire: Greek Myths A New Retelling Audiobook by Helen Steadman – Review by Ashley Hasting

As a fan of Greek Mythology it was refreshing to get a viewpoint from a Greek God that’s played a pivotal role in Mythology, but often left to the wayside. Their are hundreds if not thousands of different versions Greek myths have been told and this retelling was a great rendition of some truly classic tales. The author as well as the narrator do a fantastic job in breathing life into these classic tales just as Prometheus and Hephaestus breathed life into the clay structures of man.

How To Write A Historical Novel And Love It by TL Clark – Review by Ashley Hasting

How To Write A Historical Novel And Love ItHow To Write A Historical Novel And Love It by T.L. Clark
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

As someone who has often debated and wanted to write a history text TL Clark lays out the fundamentals in a clear and concise way anyone can follow. One of the best parts of this book is that it serves as a blueprint for how to write a historic novel while giving examples from their own writings. The author even gives tips and tricks for after you have finished writing your novel on how to navigate the tricky world of marketing and getting your novel published. I would highly recommend this book to anyone that would want to get their feet wet and dabble in the field of writing their own novel whether it be a historic novel or any other genre.
