Savage Start (Hidden Valley Elite Prequel) by Isla Vaughn – Review by Ashley Hasting

Savage Start: A High School Bully Romance: Hidden Valley Elite PrequelSavage Start: A High School Bully Romance: Hidden Valley Elite Prequel by Isla Vaughn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

With only 55 pages, this prequel pulled me in, and I’ve already gathered the next books to be on my list! Riley has always been on the go with her mom, but her mom swears this might be their last time. Cole is having trouble with his parents and his relationship with his brother. Riley and Cole meet at a party and end up kissing intensified. So much drama, relationships, and more drama happens in so little pages, that you have to go straight to the next book! Thank you for making this series!

True Colors (Landry’s True Colors Series Book One) by Krysten Lindsay Hager – Review by Ashley Hasting

True Colors (Landry's True Colors #1)True Colors by Krysten Lindsay Hager
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is about Landry and the middle school dramas we adults can remember going through. She had two friends, they went to do a tryout, but when she made it and they didn’t, they got jealous and started bullying her. Then the peer pressure was there when they pressured her to do the tryout to begin with. I had bullies, peer pressuring, and so much happen to me in middle school. I hope I can say that any middle schooler should read this book and learn what to avoid and how to get out of situations. It was a good book to read with so much information!

There is much adventure, drama, relationship, and friendship in this book. I loved it all! The ending was great too!!! 🙂

This was such a fun read! You’ve got Rhia! She’s like a tomboy in my book. She’s taller and stronger than the other girls in her village. Her dad, the mayor, has agreed to marry her to a Prince of Wales. She wasn’t ready for who she thought she can forget. While they learn from each other, other events happen in the village. The drama, saving, and peace they gain in this book is simply beautiful!

Chasing Redemption (Quimby Grove #2)Chasing Redemption by Shannon Nikole
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This has been one of my recent favorite series out there. The story continues on with Max and Marley. We all know how he mentioned the girl on the beach and hoping one day he may see her again. Well thanks to Ellie, his dream came true. It came with more than he imagined though. This connection they have is just as amazing as Ellie and Beckett. I can’t wait for another book!

Can I just start with wow. Troy had a dark life, and it impacted how he led his life as well. Veronica also had a mental health issue. The waitresses knew something would catch up one day. I haven’t had a thriller hit my emotions so hard. If you’re a thriller reader, here’s your book!

Madame Chalamet is known as the Ghost Talker. Her adventure continues with the duke. He gets her invitations to the Food competition between wide known chefs, including the one at her hotel. My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was definitely a cozy book to read during the Christmas season. A lot of people use this time to learn how to love again and get back in the Christmas spirit. Max still lives in Buckeye Falls, Ohio, and misses his Ex-Wife, Ginny. She comes back to visit her Dad after he had surgery. This became Max’s moment to get her back. He tries to win her over with Quesadillas and Christmas spirit. Ginny wanted nothing to do with Christmas, but was ringed into helping the town this year, and with Max. It was definitely a cute romance! 🙂

Nite Fire: Exit Strategy Audiobook by C.L. Schneider – Review by Ashley Hasting

Dahlia will forever be one of my favorite characters from a series as amazing as this! 🙂 We are at the final book and man, what an amazing ending! So much has happened with the other 4 books, and so much was added to this one book alone. Half of her team went to another world to retrieve Creed’s brother, as well as tackle what they can. While they are there, the apocalypse happens on Earth. Dahlia struggles with the dragon in her heart, I will always remember this series, and might even binge listen again! 🙂

Joker’s Fool (Satan’s Devils MC #8) Audiobook by Manda Mellett – Review by Ashley Hasting

Joker is hiding more than a couple things from everyone. He is now in Tuscon Chapter, and they don’t know the true reasoning there too well. We also have Lady’s Man, who is on Joker nerves. Lady’s man is his chance to be himself again. The problem is Joker himself. So much happens. It’s different than the other books in the series, but just as great!

This was a really nice Historical Fiction Romance novel. Even though Charmaine has a tough time with her family right now, she has been working hard to keep them afloat. What that involves is putting on games for a ‘charity’. The games are done at a ball as well where she meets Kosta. There is love, family, drama, and scheming in this novel, but oh so good!

I want to start off with I didn’t know this was series. This was definitely a great standalone book if you wanted it to be. It also drawn me to go back and read the rest of the series! 🙂 Jorja is a private investigator who ends up working on two crimes. She ends up in a mix of trouble during the searches, but she’s a badass through and through! Great job on this book and the series itself!

The Coin Audiobook by Maria Elena Alonso-Sierra – Review by Ashley Hasting

One coin could lead to so many things if you know where to look. Gabriela happened upon one, a 1945 French coin to be exact, on a walking path. Due to this, it unlocked a new adventure that was going to be hard to handle for her. In comes Richard, our lovely American spy, who investigates this mission that ruined his vacation but gained him an interest. Their connection is amazing to hold in to. Great listen!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the fifth book in the series from the fabulous author! I love her books and especially this series! We now move to our next potential mate bond, Master Catteneo and Allesia. A psychic and a mafia vampire. What can go wrong, or right, or both? Their romance is so good to read, the drama in here ties to all the other books but can still be read as a standalone with just enough information. Seriously a great series!!!

This book is only 20 pages, but OH MY GOSH do you wish it was so much more because it can be. It’s such a dark story, but so good. It has a lesson in there, and I’ll let you read it to see what it is. Ivy and Falcon have a troubled relationship, but for a certain reason. It always leads to a bad place.

In this story, she searches for her father’s killer, and also has some other mysteries to solve. We also have a love interest in the making as someone who keeps getting in her way. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and ready to read the next book!

Divided LivesDivided Lives by K R Mullins
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Who would think the Author would come up with the brilliant idea of this story? We have Lottie, who is the niece of Emma from the Notebook Mysteries, in her own mystery. To think of her grown up when she was just a baby in the last book I read is mind blowing how that can happen with stories so quickly, but I love it. Lottie ends up on a case that clashes two sides of her life. She must now figure out how to work that out while solving the mystery. It was such a good read just like the Notebook Mystery series is! If you haven’t checked that one out, please do!
