This page turner is full of steamy tension, funny that you can’t seem to put it down until the book is done. Victoria Zak did a great job of hooking you in and keeping you hooked right up until the last page. I was definitely excited to learn that there is a second book in the Gracefall story!!

When free-spirited down to Earth Mia’s world collides with the arrogant tongue-tied Broderick brother she had no clue what would happen. Mia was attending the wedding of Ethan and Serena when she first locked eyes with Edward. She was nothing like he was ever used to but there was a pull between the two. With Edward’s ability of intuition he makes some suggestions for Mia’s business but ends up putting his foot in his mouth. That won’t be the only time Edward gets tongue-tied with Mia but did the Goddess think that they were good soulmates?
This is the fifth book in the Broderick Brother series and it does not disappoint. This book was steamy, thrilling, funny, and an absolute page-turner! Aj Renee does not disappoint with yet another amazing book. I can’t wait to see where this series will go next!

After reading the first book, Next Door to a Star I was thrilled there was a sequel. Competing with a Star did not disappoint. It was full of teenage drama, love and confusion. Hadley and Nick’s relationship seems to be blooming well when Hadley shows her true naïve side. I did love how Nick was vulnerable with Hadley. All in all I liked the book, the drama and the realness of relationships these days.

When I started reading this book it really brought me back to my high school days. All the girl drama and gossip that this group of high school sophomores dished out made this book a page turner. Hadley, who thought her life was doomed for disaster, took a leap of faith and spent the summer with her grandparents. Having a fresh start to her, even if it was only the summer, was better than sitting home missing her best friend who moved away. If you are looking for a book that reminds you of all that high school drama you miss……. this is your book!!

While reading Chased I had an internal game of tug of war. I loved the dynamic of Chase, the lead of an organized crime association and Allegra, the up and coming human rights lawyer, at the start of their relationship. I could feel the turmoil Allegra was unknowingly thrown into. As the book came to a close I fell back in love with Chase and Allegra’s budding relationship. I can’t wait to learn how the two come to common ground and learn to love the fire between them two.

Wow! I am not typically a fan of paranormal stories but this book had me hooked from the start. I did not read the first two books in the series but after falling in love with Max and Claudia I will be revisiting the first two books. Watching Max and Claudia’s relationship, which is not a “normal” pairing, no pun intended but truly magical. Witches, werewolves, magic and love, this book will definitely have you hooked until the end.
