Fake Fiancé (A Second Chance Office Romance) AUDIO BOOK by Amy McKinley – Review by Piper Foster

This was an emotional read. It is a story I love and the characters are so well written. I really enjoyed the concept of this story and the way it was paced not to fast not to slow. I like how we got to read from each character POV. Other relationship’s and dynamics are also shown which further impact’s this storytelling. Pasts can have an ugly way of revealing. I love the audio person on this book they done a great job of converting the characters.

Safe Harbor: A Logan McKenna Mystery Book 5 AUDIO BOOK by Valerie Davisson – Review by Carly Vogler

Safe Harbor, by Valerie Davisson, is actually the fifth book in her Logan McKenna Mystery series. Do not let this keep you from reading it as a stand alone! This is the first story I have read, and I had no issue following along.

Logan is trying to have a relaxing vacation with her family when she is thrown into the middle of a murder investigation. If that wasn’t enough, the ghosts of her past can’t seem to leave her alone either. Faced with a decision that could change everything, what can she do?

READY FOR FLYNN, PART 1 (READY FOR FLYNN SERIES) AUDIO BOOK by K.L. SHANDWICK

Ready For Flynn, Part 1 ( Ready For Flynn Series) Audio Book by K.L. Shandwick is a Contemporary Romance that I loved listening to. The narrator did an outstanding job. I was pulled in from the beginning and kept me listening. I had a hard time stopping it, And found myself taking longer to get home only because I had to know what was going to happen next. This is the story of Valerie and Flynn. Valerie qas loved and cherished by her brothers and her boyfriend in her small town at a young age of fifteen until she is forced to leave due to a betrayal. She returns back home where she finds comfort in Flynn the man who made her have strange feelings when he vanished from her life. There is definitely chemistry and strong connection between these two. Find out if Valerie Is really Ready For Flynn? I can’t wait to listen to the next book in this series. This was my first Audible book by this author but definitely not my last. I highly recommend reading or listening to this story

Exhale and Move On AUDIO BOOK by K.L. Shandwick – Review by Heidi Schoolman

This audio book follows Rick, who lives high on the rock and roll lifestyle.  He can have any woman he wants, but there is still something missing.  He is getting older and everyone else is settling down and yet he has not found “the one” for him.  He also carries around a lot of emotional and sexual baggage as well as a secret.  The way the author wrote this, you get a really good idea on what he must be feeling and does pull at the heartstrings a bit.  Get ready to listen/read some absolute hotness!

I really enjoyed this book; I have to admit that I was almost put off by the length of time for the audio book but actually as I was so engrossed in what I was listening to the 11 hours went by really quickly. I did listen to it over a few days but it was a really good story and I really enjoyed it. It is definitely a slow story but definitely one worth sticking with. Valerie is one of those characters you have to get to know before you can decide whether or not you like her. And Flynn – well I loved him straight away! The narrator was good and did well to get so much emotion over from the story. I am really looking forward to the next part to Valerie and Flynn’s story.

I absolutely loved this audiobook! I think it is probably one of the best that I have listened to so far. The narrator was brilliant, she really brought the story to life. The story was excellent, I love historical romance but usually in the early 1900’s so this was more modern for me but I loved it. The characters were brilliant, Jenny was a brilliant female lead, she made me laugh so many times. The time went so fast whilst listening because I was so engrossed in the story. I would highly recommend this audio book I thought it was absolutely brilliant!

Maggie (Maggie Trilogy Book 1) AUDIO BOOK by Mya O’Malley – Review by Sunday Barnaby

Maggie by Mya O’Malley

Narrated by Emily Ember

Four Stars

Maggie is the first book in the Maggie Trilogy by Mya O’Malley. This is the first book I have listened to by Ms. O’Malley, but I will definitely be listening the rest of this trilogy because this first book really intrigued me. This book had me on the edge of my seat from the beginning, with all the twists and turns, I didn’t know where we would be going next. This story flowed and before I knew it I was at the end. The paranormal factors were fascinating. Naomi and Maggie are truly strong and unusual characters.  If you like a great ghost story with romance added in, this is the book for you. Can’t wait to read the rest of this series.

This is the first book I have listened to narrated by Emily Ember. She has a very distinct voice and at the beginning I wasn’t sure how If I would get used to it, but by the second chapter, she was really bringing those characters to life. I look forward to listening to more books narrated by Emily.

My Sweet GI AUDIO BOOK by T.L Wainwright – Review by Kerry Baker

My Sweet GI Audio Book by T.L. Wainwright is a brilliant historical romance that has such an attention to detail. I loved listening to this book right from the start. The narrator has been picked perfectly for this book. They really captured the accents and the areas so well. Being from the area myself it really helped me picture everything in so much more detail and I felt like I was right there with the main character at all times.

I thought the story was good as well. It was more emotional than I expected it to be and there were a few times that I could have cried for Jenny. Her journey was such a difficult one and yet she was determined to do the best that she could. My only criticism about this book would be that the revelation toward the end seemed a bit far fetched. It feel like the author could have written it in a way that still achieved their goal but also made a little more sense. However this didn’t take away too much from how much I enjoyed this book.

Fake Fiancé (A Second Chance Office Romance) AUDIO BOOK by Amy McKinley – Review by Cora Ryan

I was very surprised by this audiobook; it was very engaging and captivating. You could feel their chemistry coming off the words and narration. I could not stop listening to it. I recommend this listen to anyone who enjoys heartwarming office romance. As I was listening I was cheering for Adeline’s character to find her happily every after what that meant for her, she is such a strong woman that it is nice to see her vulnerable through parts of the book.

This is a sweet yet short AUDIO BOOK, Historical Romance. For adults only, due to language and adult content.

Here is a cute story about Jenny and Teddy. This is their sweet meeting and how their love grew. With the war continuing, Teddy enters the shop for some candy. Meets Jenny and the rest is history. Will they find their Happily Ever After?  No spoilers here!

T.L Wainwright wrote this beautiful love story. It is well written and will bring out the emotions we expect from a romance. I love the characters and how they came to be. This is a new author for me as well as a new genre. I usually run from all things Historical. I am happy I listened to this story, I will be looking into more from T.L Wainwright. Well Done! Fake Fiancé (A Second Chance Office Romance) AUDIO BOOK by Amy McKinley – Review by Tracy Gutierrez

First time really listening to a book, instead of actually reading, and I must say I really enjoyed it. Adeline and Stone’s story is very intriguing. She starts working for Stone as his assistant while his regular assistant is on maternity leave. She just seems to crash into Stone and from there the flashbacks begin. They feel as if they’d met before kind of a déjà vu. Then he asks her to be his fake fiancé and they start to hit it off. Both begin to have feelings for each other. I truly enjoyed listening to this book. I think I’ll try it again with another of this author’s books.

This was a really great story. There was plenty of emotion, intrigue, and spice to keep you wanting more. You have to pay attention in the beginning, so you are clear on when they are going back to Christiano and Francesca. Stone sounded like a real catch and I loved how smart and strong Adeline was. It makes me want to visit Italy even more than I did before I read this book (which was a lot). This is definitely a must read and a story you will totally enjoy! 10 out of 10!

Exhale and Move On AUDIO BOOK by K.L. Shandwick – Review by Bobbi Wagner

I loved listening to this audio.  It is a fun, entertaining story that the narrator brings to life with each word of the story.  The tone of voice used made me want to keep listening.  I also enjoyed how the narrator’s voice changed with each character.  This is a story about Rick who is a playboy and is about to have his past come crashing into his present.  He is a rockstar but behind closed doors you find a different type of person.  This was such a great story to listen to.  I am happy I picked it up and I highly recommend this audio.

Maggie (Maggie Trilogy Book 1) AUDIO BOOK by Mya O’Malley was a great listen. I love to listen while driving and during work and this audio book did not disappoint. I loved the suspense and the narrator’s ability to leave me sitting on the edge of my seat. I loved Naomi and appreciated her development. Fake Fiancé (A Second Chance Office Romance) AUDIO BOOK by Amy McKinley – Review by Amanda Gonzalez

When Adeline gets the opportunity to work in her dream job, she takes it and travels to the city of love. Despite her new, hot-yet-growly boss, she’s willing to put in the time and effort to make all her dreams come true…even if that means becoming her boss’s fake fiancé. Adeline and Stone have an instant connection, one could even call it a little supernatural, a love written in the stars. There’s a mysterious paranormal element to Fake Fiancé that immediately pulls you in and keeps your attention throughout. Set in the romantic backdrop of Italy, this story will have you immersed from the first page until the last.

When you think you have scored the best job, then you have to decide do you go with what your boss wants or not?

Adeline has just found her dream job but there is one thing she has been asked by her boss to be his “fake fiancé”. This may become difficult when the line between professional and plutonic becomes blurred and will they be able to keep their feelings separate.

I love this author, the book itself is a novella but it packs a punch which feels like a full novel. The characters are well written, developed and create a great chemistry within the story. I could not put the book down and really enjoyed the character of Adeline as she was funny and would also love to see these characters in the future.

If you love a great romance novel with a bit of a twist this is a brilliant story to get your teeth into.

Ready for Flynn: Part 1 by K.L. Shandwick

Narrated by Anne Marie Damman

Five Stars

Ready for Flynn: Part 1 is is the first book I have read/listened to by K.L. Shandwick. This amazing rockstar romance had me hooked in the first chapter. This author brought the characters to life. I felt I could relate to Flynn, Valerie and most of the other characters in this story. When I thought things couldn’t get worse, I was seriously thrown for a loop. I can’t wait to get my hands on the second book in this series.

This book was narrated by Anne Marie Damman. She is also a new narrator to me. I enjoyed her voice. I think it brought me closer to the characters. I will definitely be keeping my out for more of her narrations.

I enjoyed this WWII romance story.  This is my first audible by this author and narrator.  I enjoyed the tone of voice and how it would change a little with each character.  I found this to be easy to listen to which helped with my enjoyment.  This is a story about Teddy and Jenny.  When Teddy steps into the shop that Jenny works at, her life changes from that moment.  But war could be the end of a relationship before it really starts.  This was a sweet story and I truly enjoyed listening to it.  I highly recommend this audio.

Fake Fiancé (A Second Chance Office Romance) AUDIO BOOK by Amy McKinley – Review by Karen Pearman

This was my first audiobook ever. And I loved it. I have always been concerned about listening to a story and not being able to connect with the characters, but I found that is not the case. This is a phenomenal book from this author. I think she did a really great job drawing me into the story and keeping me interested in the characters and what would happen to them in the end. I found this story relatable and very funny with some mystery and romance mixed in. I really hope that she has at least one additional book planned for these characters because I feel there is so much more that can be written about them. Also, the narrator was phenomenal, and I thought did a perfect job with inflection and tone of voice throughout this reading. I feel like I could have listened forever that was how enjoyable it was.
