READY FOR FLYNN, PART 1 (READY FOR FLYNN SERIES) AUDIO BOOK by K.L. SHANDWICK – Review by Carly Vogler

Ready for Flynn by by K. L. Shandwick is an emotionally intense start to what is sure to be a great trilogy.

Valerie is a 15 year old girl who has lived as much of a sheltered life as you can have with three older brothers. When one brother brings home a friend for the holidays, everything changes.

We follow the two on a great journey of young love, raging hormones, and most importantly, growth. With such an age difference between the two, we really get to see how their choices affect the other person, and how they grow and change through time. When Valerie turns 18, are they able to try for a love of their own, or will his lifestyle turn out to be too much for her to handle?

Taboo Or Not Taboo, that is the question
You know when you read something that’s not supposed to turn you on (in conventional society) but it turns you on…. wel that’s how I felt with this book!!! And I absolutely LOVED it.

At first you think why would her uncle ever make her do this just to receive her inheritance BUT THEN….. Master Max makes his first appearance and all that thinking flies out the window and all you do is FEEL!!

It was also strange to me that the book was narrated by n man (usually when the writing is more from a female perspective you get a female narrator) even more strange IT WORKED. I can’t imagine listening to a different narrator doing this book. Antonio did a superb job.
I highly recommend this book, especially if you’re looking for a fast paced, hot and steamy book

With a reminder from the landlord of pay or get out Lani goes on an adventure to claim her Inheritance but what she doesn’t know is it could claim her. Was a fantastic listen but bewared there are adult scenes graphic enough that at minim you will want head phones.

Five Stars!

This is a book you can get lost in. At first, the premise feels a little uncomfortable, but the more you listen, the more you want to hear. “The Inheritance” had me feeling good things and bad for both Lani and Max. This book is a must read if you like unconventional relationships, mysterious guessing games, and scenes that will make you wonder if anybody else can hear the book you’re listening too!

I listened to the audiobook version of this one. This good was a great quick listen. I liked the Max character and his quiet strength and the way it was written definitely kept me wanting to know more about him. I have to admit I wasn’t a fan of the character name Lonnie, because in my head that is a guy’s name, but that’s just me. Lonnie herself was a great balance of strong yet amenable. I wanted to know more about the plan the uncle had for her and why he chose this particular set of tasks for her. It was really a great listen and totally recommend this book!

READY FOR FLYNN, PART 1 (READY FOR FLYNN SERIES) AUDIO BOOK by K.L. SHANDWICK – Review by Bobbi Wagner

I loved listening to this audio.  This is my first audio book for this author and I look forward to listening to more.  I was pulled into the story by the narrator and what their tone of voice brought to each character.  It is entertaining to listen to which made it easy to want to know what happened next.  This is a story about how one event can change everything for you and not only that but your past comes crashing into the present.  I loved listening to Valerie and Flynn’s growth and how much chemistry they have together.  I highly recommend this audible and this author.

Fake Fiancé (A Second Chance Office Romance) AUDIO BOOK by Amy McKinley – Review by Anastasia Dodson

This book was great! This isn’t my first book by this author but it is my first audio by her! I was pulled in from the beginning and was kept interested throughout all of the story. Stone and Adeline were great main characters because they were very likable and relatable. I was able to listen to this audio while I traveled back home and it made the trip fly by. I love when a book/audio makes me lose track of time because that means it was good!
I really liked this narrator. Her voice was nice and light. I would love to listen to more voiced by her in the future as well as read/listen to more by this author too!
I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a sweet romance to pass the time with!
Happy Listening!

My Sweet GI AUDIO BOOK by T.L Wainwright – Review by Mirela Ruiz

My Sweet GI AUDIO BOOK by T.L Wainwright was such a heart wrenching listen. I love a good historical romance but I have not listened to one so close to the current time. I felt so much for Jenny, she was a smart and intuitive character. There were so many twists and turns, I was pulled in. I loved the narrator, she had such a gentle voice and tone that went perfectly with the story. I have not been so enamored with a romance story, it hit my heart the way The Notebook did.

Ready for Flynn: Part 1: The Ready for Flynn Series by K.L. Shandwick is a rock star romance. The romance in this book was breathtaking.

Valerie Darsin was loved and admired by her brothers and boyfriend when she was 15 years old. Her small-town life was peaceful and safe until she was forced to leave due to a sudden betrayal. When Valerie returned home, she found comfort in Flynn Docherty, a man who had left her with strange feelings when he vanished from her life. Valerie learned to move on before Flynn returned after a life-changing event, but was she ready? Has she ever been prepared for Flynn’s arrival?

I loved every chapter. I can’t wait to read the other parts.

Wow! Be prepared to listen to this book all in one sitting. At about 10 hours in length, this story is riveting from the start.

Safe Harbor: A Logan McKenna Mystery Book 5 AUDIO BOOK by Valerie Davisson – Review by Betsy Melano

Safe Harbor (A Logan McKenna Mystery Book 5) by Valerie Davisson is a crime novel that I got sucked into right away. I love finding a great mystery full of suspense and intrigue. First of all, Logan McKenna’s mother shows up at Logan’s home out of nowhere with no explanation. Soon after her mother showing up, Logan heads out on a much needed vacation with her family to Oregon’s Pacific coast. All of a sudden this vacation to relax and enjoy time with family turns into Logan finding herself as one of the suspects of a murder investigation. How could this have happened, Logan is just visiting the town. What could she do to find out who the murderer is?

Mary Ann Jacobs narrated this audio book. Her voice is easy to listen to and I appreciated her use of slightly different tone of voice for different characters. I would be happy to listen to a book that Mary Ann Jacobs narrates in the future.

The Inheritance, The Story of an Unlikely Submissive AUDIO BOOK by India Kells – Review by Robin Rankin

The Inheritance: The Story of an Unlikely Submissive by India Kells

I was intrigued by this book when reading the synopsis so I thought I would give it a try since I have liked everything by Ms. Kells I have read or listened to so far.

The storyline was really good, I wish it had gone a little longer.  The narrator’s voice would get me so into the story that I would find myself stopping what I was doing just to listen more intently.

I hope to have the opportunity to listen to more by both. My

Five Stars

The Inheritance: The Story of an Unlikely Submissive is a short story by India Kells. Although short, this book packs a big punch. This is my new favorite books by Ms. Kells. If you like your reads Sizzling Hot, this is the book for you. Lani is a young woman who is a budding artist, who is trying to get her life together. Max is a recluse millionaire keeping himself safe from the world. When they come together it is explosive and their chemistry is off the charts. I listened to this book in one sitting and loved every minute of it.
This is the first book I have listened to by Antonio Turner. He does an excellent job bringing the characters to life. His voice is easy to listen to. I’m definitely looking forward to listening to more of Mr. Turner’s narrations.
I highly recommend this book. Five Stars!

I really love the audio books. I like to be able to plug in my earphones and hear the book and go about my jobs. I love how the narrator is able to accentuate her voice and bring the characters to life. I was able to just drift off into the book and visualize the goings on. I really felt as though I was part of the story.

The characters are really brought to life by the narrator. I was really able to feel all the emotions Adeline was feeling and really routed for her and Stone. It may have started out as a rouse but it all falls into place. I really enjoyed this audio book and will definitely read and/or listen to more from this author.

This was an emotional book, full of the realities of life and the unfamiliarities of growing up. Ready for Flynn tells the story of Valerie Darsin, your typical teen with a large and loving family who lived in a simplistic and small town. Her picturesque life is suddenly thrown upside down in a series of events, starting with the introduction of a guy named Flynn. The illusive Flynn and small-town Valerie have obvious chemistry and attraction, throughout the emotional rollercoaster that is this story. It’ll leave you wondering if Valerie really is Ready for Flynn.

The Inheritance, The Story of an Unlikely Submissive AUDIO BOOK by India Kells was a quick and steamy listen! The attention to detail and description of Lani’s struggle in the BDSM world was well done. I enjoyed that there was a plot and story instead of just intimate scenes. It was definitely a quick listen but well worth the time. I look forward to more audio books by India Kells.

Fake Fiancé: A Second Chance Office Romance by Amy McKinley is a romance story.

Adeline Rossi doesn’t need a fortune teller to tell her that her fate is far from home. She crosses the Atlantic to Italy with career goals in mind, having secured a dream work. It’s anything but love when she arrives in the city of love. Her ridiculously hot manager is grumpy, and the design team’s leader is a significant issue. Stone Crenshaw, a wealthy businessman, plagued by disturbing hallucinations, can’t wait for the renovations in his historic hotel to be finished. As if that weren’t bad enough, he’s still dealing with an instant attraction to his clumsy recruit. When a family-oriented hotelier wishes to sell, Stone takes advantage of the situation and attaches a fake fiancée to Adeline’s management responsibilities.

I loved the storyline. It was such an enjoyable book to listen to. It is also a quick read for on the go.

The Inheritance, The Story of an Unlikely Submissive AUDIO BOOK by India Kells – Review by Jessica Leombruno

This isn’t my first book by India Kells but this is my first audiobook and let me tell you Antonio Turner‘s voice in this book was spot on.

Lani is a struggling artist wanting to make it on her own. When she hears of the news of her uncle’s passing and her name is mentioned in his will, she thought this might be her chance to get her studio. What she didn’t expect was that she would have tasks given to her by a stranger to full fill before getting her inheritance. What would you do for ten million dollars?

Even though this book is less than 3 hours long, India knows how to grip her readers with some steamy scenes.

Fake Fiancé (A Second Chance Office Romance) AUDIO BOOK by Amy McKinley – Review by Kerry Baker

Fake Fiancé: A Second Chance Office Romance Audio Book by Amy McKinley is an entertaining and well written story. It has more going on in the story than your usual romance story that adds a depth it. I thought the mix of characters was really good and while listening to it I got a real sense of each of their different personalities. The way the author has distinguished them is really easy to get behind.

I thought the overall story was great. I like the fact that the book is set in Europe. This for me differentiates it from other books in this genre. My only issue is that the narration was a little hard to follow at times. There needed to be a few more pauses between sentences and paragraphs however it was still easy enough to understand where these breaks fell naturally.

I very much enjoyed this audio book and will definitely check out more of them from this author.

Fake Fiancé (A Second Chance Office Romance) AUDIO BOOK by Amy McKinley – Review by Carly Vogler

Fake Fiancé by Regan Brown is nothing short of a great romance. When Adeline gets her big break after college, the job is everything she wanted, but with drama she didn’t realize would accompany the role. With a coworker undermining her every move, and the feelings she has for her boss, will her career quickly fall to pieces, or will she be able to salvage her career and the budding relationship?

Regan has intertwined two marvelous love stories into one with this dashing tale. The diction is perfect, and the love story is phenomenal. Be prepared to listen to this in one sitting!

This is a Historical Romance audio book and is just under 6 hours long.  This story follows Teddy, an American WWII pilot, and Jenny, a clerk at the local candy shop in England.  Jenny was swept away with Teddy’s good looks the moment he ventured into the shop, but the onset of the war did not leave them much time to be together.  The fact that Jenny lives with her overbearing, controlling mother is not helping their situation.  This story hooked me immediately.  It has all the feels of a great romance and I thoroughly enjoyed this one.

During the first vacation she’s taken in years, Logan looks forward to sharing the beauty of the Oregon coast with Ben and her family. They quickly immerse themselves in summer fun – ocean walks, caramel corn by the fire, a visit to the aquarium, a charter boat fishing trip, and to top it all off, tickets for Logan and Ben to an amazing, intimate classical music concert featuring a pair of visiting musicians from China.
But within days, Logan finds herself inexorably drawn into a homicide investigation – as a possible suspect. While she reels from that discovery, Logan is forced to face a ghost from her past and make a thorny, personal decision that will change everyone’s lives, including her brother Rick’s.
Weaving themes of loss, forgiveness, family, love, and community, Davisson’s characters all seek a safe harbor, but not all of them find one.
