I don’t give 5 stars very often, but I really loved this book. It drew me in immediately and the world-building was fascinating. I found the characters interesting and felt invested in Lis’s journey from the beginning. Although it had some familiar tropes, I found it to be a beautifully written original story.

Together We Stand Volume 2 is a collection of romantic thrillers written by 20 outstanding authors that decided to come together to do something for raising money that will be donated to the Red Cross providing relief to the Ukraine. Well done to you all.

**May contain MM/FF and/or triggering situations**

I love anthologies. Each story just unique and interesting and as good as the others. I got to read stories from some new authors as well as some favourites. New worlds and characters and tropes; there is something for everyone.

I enjoyed each and every one of the stories but C.A. King’s story is one that really stood out to me – Clara’s Story Part 2.

Find Clara’s Story Part 1 in Love is Eternal: A Charity Anthology for Ukraine.

Even though it is short I was totally entrenched in Clara’s Story. C.A. weaves worlds take you away and you feel like you are in it with them every step of the way.

This is another great read by CA and one that should not be missed.

Another story that I felt in my heart was From Flames by A. N. Waugh. AN is a new author to me and I really liked this story. I look forward to checking out more of their work.

This heartfelt story is a MM tale where our characters are left with scars from the past but find their way to each other.

I won’t share details with you as you need to grab a copy today to support an amazing cause.

This anthology has such an amazing collection of stories, and they all attracted my attention for different reasons. A couple that stood out for me were Clara’s Story Part 2 by C.A. King and Twisted by TL Mayhew. I highly recommend both of these authors! They were able to include so much depth in such a short read.

Clara’s Story Part 2
I felt my pulse racing as I read through Clara’s Story Part 2. I’m a mom which means anything to do with kid’s misadventures instantly has me panicking and/or crying. Clara is trying to do everything she can as a mom to steer her daughter, Kirsten, down the right path but her paranoia sometimes gets in the way. Or does it? I felt this story while tragic, ended with such hope that gave me happy tears.

Twisted
This was a dark romance novel with some steamy scenes that made my jaw drop! Jerrod is obsessed with a woman he can’t have until he sees Austin, who happens to be his obsession’s best friend. Austin is in town dealing with the death of her father, but Jerrod is going to help her navigate through those emotions. I loved the chemistry with everyone involved and the raw emotion had my heart in a vice.

Love’s Mulligan (Stroke of Love Book 1) by CA Miconi – Review by Amy Brennan

Love's MulliganLove’s Mulligan by C.A. Miconi
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really needed a solid pick me up and believe in love again romance novel, and this one just hit the mark for me in so many ways. I think it’s important to realize that not every moment is going to be the right moment, and that sometimes things can go sideways, but that doesn’t mean that they always will. I absolutely loved Kellie’s character of course, but for once, I feel I really connected with the male lead in this novel. Harrison is everything you could want from a man, and more. He had some growing up to do, and after seeing the love of his life again, he looks back and realizes that’s exactly what he’s done. Grown.

Overall, this novel had beautiful character building, the love just flowed from the pages, and the characters popped with enough energy to keep the reader (me) enthralled. I look forward to reading more by this author, and specifically more of this series. Bring it on! Highly recommend.

Wonderful, sweet, second chance romance and a new author to me…..I definitely recommend this book.

I love this story of Kellie and Harrison…..from high school sweethearts to years past reunite in different circumstances. Kellie is a successful event planner in Las Vegas and when Kellie lands a high profile couple to plan their wedding…she never expected the groom to be her first love from years ago. Harrison is a pro golfer and needs to improve his image per his agent and that would be to marry someone…but deep down when Harrison runs into Kellie again, he wants her. Will Harrison and Kellie reunite to a love that was from long ago?

This story flowed so wonderfully and I couldn’t put this book down. I love the spark between Harrison and Kellie!

Wow. This book has everything you’d ever want. It has action, people trying to fall in love, so many crazy obstacles in their way, sibling love, family, and even hot scenes. Callie Rose is adorable and so relatable. She’s in college and has always been in love with her older brothers best friend. Noah has never been allowed to have a real relationship due to a terrible mistake he’s made in his past. But when he finally starts to see Callie Rose as an adult, all hell breaks lose, and he’s going to need everybody’s help to get out of it. Even people he didn’t even know knew about him. Read this book. It’s amazing. One of the best books I’ve ever read! Couldn’t put it down!

First time reading this author. What a super cute second chance love story. Kellie is a hometown girl living in Vegas, trying to escape her past. But can one really escape that first love? Harrison is like the one that got away but he actually just left. Left Kellie alone, broken and confused. Kellie is an adult now and able to make her own choices.

Harrison was an up-and-coming golfer when he left his hometown and his girl, Kellie. Of course, life happened and Kellie disappeared. Harrison continued his golf career, becoming a pro. However, his image leaves a little to be desired by his sponsors. He needs a wife and a family and a white picket fence. He knows Kellie is the one that got away and he knows she should be the wife he needs. But his team has chosen someone else. Can a chance meeting and love really conquer all?

Peg’s Stand (Satan’s Devils MC #6) Audio Book by Manda Mellett – Review by Kayla Octaviano

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This book is a continuation of the amazing series written by Manda Mellett. This story melts your heart. Peg has always been one of my favorite characters ever since his role in the first book in the series. To see him find love warms my heart. There is a lot of aggressive and painful patches to get through in the story, but it is so worth it to get to the lovely bond these two people share. Peg is the Sergeant at Arms for the Satan’s Devils motorcycle gang, but he is also a veteran, a sweetheart, and wants love. Darcy is a badass firefighter with a team of her own. She has gotten herself into a bad situation when Peg finds her, and from there on out, they stick together. Read this book. It’s amazing, just like all the others in this series!

Mental health even today is so taboo, which honestly is so sad the fact that this author not only made it a huge part of this book but showed how you can heal from it is amazing. Addy and Wes were teen lovers that were torn apart in a crazy life altering moment and find each other years later by nothing but faith. They show you have to keep going through your lows to reach your highs. 100% recommend.

Ashes of Sin and Stardust (AnchorX) by Lindsay Murray – Review by La Toya Lewis

Ashes of Sin and StardustAshes of Sin and Stardust by Lindsay Murray
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Ashes of Sin and Stardust by Lindsay Murray is a dark erotica/BDSM story. Reuben is a Dom that has been dreaming of Alice for years, not knowing who she is. He feels that once he finds her everything will fall into place. As he goes home to spend some down time with friends, there she is. And to Reuben’s chagrin, she’s a brat. I enjoyed the dynamic between Reuben and his friends. I love that he dives in and tries to make a difference. I was not a big fan of Alice but she and Reuben dive in and try to make it work with each other. The book was a nice read but it was a bit long. There are some pacing issues because of info dumps. All-in-all a good read for those that like the BDSM genre.

I’m not sure exactly what I expected from this series but the book I started reading was not it. This is a rich story, detailed and complex, steeped in mythological history. The illustrations are absolutely magnificent and compliment the book entirely.
The story itself is such an interesting one to read. The author paints such a vivid picture that you can picture it all so clearly. I was so easily lost within the pages, consumed by the story unfolding. This is a fantastic book that I think everyone should read.

Rivals (Mafia Elite, #7)Rivals by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

If you have been following along with the Mafia Elite series you will know that this series needs to be read in order and that all of the books are intertwined with the others. This is book seven and the action begins in the very first chapter, so hang on. This author really knows how to get things started:

A tsunami of dread rose, and I balanced precariously on the crest of the giant wave…

Mia is one tough cookie and has been a Mafia princess her entire life. But in the mafia, princess does not mean what you think it means. No birds singing, no rainbows. Mostly death, blood and betrayal.

Nico is a Mafia prince, son of the La Rosa family boss, Robert. His destiny is with the family. Life is not easy when you are in a Mafia family but happiness can be found. Sometimes in the unlikeliest of places.

This story is not for the faint of heart as there is Mafia mischief and sweet sweet revenge.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I am blown away by Gabriel and Celia’s relationship in this beautiful historical romance! This book is full of detailed, steamy scenes that are incredibly written. April Moran certainly knows how to manage to pull you into this story and keep your interest without every sexual encounter being cliché.

Lady Celia is one of the few friends in her circle that has not found a suitor but still feels the need for distractions. Gabriel does not share the same noble upbringing and is caught in between staying in the shadows or admitting he wants more. Both Gabriel and Lady Celia are on the same page about not wanting to marry, but for similar, unspeakable reasons – they are ashamed of their pasts. While these two seem to be on opposite sides of the love spectrum, they have an un

If we were picking books to re-read, this would be at the top of my list. Even though there are plenty of spectacular steamy sequences in this first book of the Wicked Rogues Romance series, you can expect to be even more fulfilled with the exciting storyline!

JesterJester by Brielle D. Porter
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Jester is an exciting fantasy that combines paranormal magic with performative illusions. Young adult and teen readers who enjoy magic tricks and circus skills will love this story!
Lisette, who goes by the stage name Mirage, is struggling to survive in a competitive world of entertainers. Relying on every show to pay for her next meal, she is desperate for a more stable and lucrative gig. Unfortunately, there’s a lot standing between her and the coveted position of Queen’s Jester, including her talented and beautiful competitor Luc and the fact that her father killed the King.
I particularly enjoyed how the dynamic between Luc and Lisette evolved over the course of the story. And there’s a great cast of supporting characters we meet along the way, such as the somewhat sleazy Del, and the mischievous young Cillian.
This book gets five stars from me! Totally enchanting, I struggled to put it down.

Absolutely Hot Rogue Book

This was an amazing book. I really couldn’t put the book down. The couple, they seemed like they were not meant for each other, but they start this bonding relationship and they start liking each other. This book starts off with promises of anything a romance is really made of.
Lady Celia Buchanan is the daughter of an Earl that is looking for love, understanding and acceptance of her secrets from her past. Gabriel Rose is the bastard son of a nobleman that is drawn to Celia. He wants his woman, he thinks his social status is the way to go to get her. The two in the couple fall for each other, this is the opposites attract type romance and in so many good ways in this book. Their attraction is super strong, they are an alpha and gives his girl the comfort a lady really needs and deserves.
April Moran writes a very well start for her series I do recommend this book if you like a very well written romance with all the spicy details.

**BOOK CONTAINS TRIGGER WARNINGS**
Holy hell! I could not stop reading this book! This is the first I’ve read of Lindsay Murray, but it definitely won’t be the last! The thought that she has put into her characters, plot, setting, descriptions, everything is just phenomenal. She sucks you in from the beginning and doesn’t let you go. I absolutely love the way she deals with the dark and heavy topics of mental health, abuse, kinks and proclivities, etc. She does it in such a professional, yet normal and relatable way. There is no shaming of any kind. And I am very impressed with the way she took the time to put the trigger warnings at the beginning of her book and she goes into detail about them so the reader is very aware of what they may come across and can make an informed decision about whether or not to proceed. Murray has my utmost respect for that.
I love the dynamic between Reuben and Alice and how as a reader your heart is jerked back and forth between the two. You’re mad at one for what they are doing to the other…then you’re mad at the other one because now they are being an idiot. It’s just magical the way Murray can make you feel all the feels for these characters. Just know that you will cry, cuss, cry some more, be happy, be mad, be heartbroken, and be happy again…all within a matter of chapters! I cannot recommend this book enough! I had to find out what was going to happen but I didn’t want the story to end! This book will not only make you face your deepest, darkest desires, but also your deepest, darkest demons.

Dragonslayer Dragon Heart is the first book in the Dragon Heart Series (Audiobook) and I absolutely enjoyed listening. From the very beginning I was pulled in and I found myself caught up in the story. The narrator did a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life and keeping your attention. What will happen when the one man you fall for turns out to be the who was destined to kill you? Saxton and Orelle will soon find out what their destiny has in store for them. I highly recommend listening to this fast paced, action packed Fantasy/Romance to find out what happens next. This is a new author to me but I’m definitely looking forward to reading more from them.

This book is book one of the trilogy. This is a new to me author but I couldn’t get enough of this book! I can’t wait to see how the rest of the series continues.

This story is a second chance romance but it’s not as simple as that. Love never is though. I don’t want to give too much away because honestly, you just have to read it but there is lots of emotion and secrets. The dynamic between all of the characters really pulls you into the story. Mavis left to spare Josh but confided in his brother, Austin. Josh will stop at nothing to fight for what he knows he deserves. Even if that means going against his brother. What choice will Mavis make?

Dragonslayer Dragon Heart (Dragon Heart Book 1) Audiobook by Isobelle Cate – Review by Lauren West

The story teller makes the story and the narrator for this audiobook is proof of that. A smooth, mellow, and enchanting voice flowed chapter by chapter and I enjoyed listening. I loved the story of Apollo and Orelle. You could feel the intensity of their chemistry and attraction beyond the fated pull between them. Tensions are high as they both harbor the secrets that link them. Apollo is determined to regain his soul… but he has to go through Orelle to reclaim it. Has the dragon met her slayer, and will fate determine otherwise?
