This book is a brilliant addition to the series and I think is the one that has my favourite characters so far. I loved the connection between Alexis and Seb. It felt so real and convincing, right from the moment they are together. The overall story was exciting to read. The author kept it moving with so many twists and turns. I found myself completely pulled in to the story and what was going on. This has been a really strong series so far and this book just adds to that. I would definitely recommend it and I am looking forward to the next one.
This is the first book in the Guardians of Camelot Series. This was a really enjoyable fantasy adventure. It was packed with action, twists, secrets, deceptions and finding your true place where you belong.
Morgan has grown up in London with her Aunt Nim. She’s always had magic but it’s very weak. She thinks of herself as a normal person. And even though her Aunt tells her stories about Camelot, and the fact she is a princess Morgan believes they are just stories made up to entertain her as a child. They couldn’t possible be true right?
When her Aunt Nim is attacked and killed Morgan is transported to Camelot. She is told she needs to fight to prove herself and regain her claim to the throne. But can she do it? Is she really this powerful witch everyone seems to think she is? Will her magic even work? And will she be able to overcome all the challenges and obstacles in front of her?
This was a captivating read that I couldn’t put down. I can’t wait to read more.

Her Sapphire Blade is the first book in the Guardians of Camelot series. It is an exciting portal fantasy that draws on Arthurian legends within a modern setting. Morgan lives in modern London, in a world where magic users are discrete but present in society. Her own magic is weak in comparison to those around her, but this changes when she returns to Camelot, a land she knows only from fairy stories.
I enjoyed the cast of characters in this book. I hope we get to see more of Taron and Talia in the rest of the series! Morgan meets many different characters as she navigates the tournament at the centre of this book, it will be interesting to see who comes back in the later books.
I found the tournament plot particularly enjoyable to read after watching lots of Olympic events this summer! It’s kind of like fantasy Olympics and reading those scenes felt like the tension of watching sports and hoping my favourite athletes did enough to get to the next level.
This book gets five stars from me! I’d recommend it to fans of urban fantasy and mythology-inspired stories. I’m looking forward to the next book!

Be My Little Baby (London Detective Agency Book @) by Stephanie R. Caffrey is my first read by this author and she delivered! Of course, like always, I have not read the first book of the series, but I didn’t feel to left behind by starting with the second book. I will be going back to read the first book so that way I can get the full gist of the second book. I thought that the story flowed well and like I said, that is without having the information from the first book in the series. I was captivated by Tessa and James’ interactions with each other. Tessa is a new bakery owner and expects that it will take a while to get her business off the ground, but she is in for a big surprise! Unfortunately for Tessa, she has acquired a stalker who will not leave her be, so Tessa has to seek help from James (the detective). James tries his best to keep things with Tessa strictly professional, but there is something about her that makes him want to break his own rules. I thought that this book was entertaining, funny, very well written and just overall a good story. I will definitely be going back and reading the first book in the series, and I encourage you to pick up a copy and read for yourself!

Caffrey – Review by Mary Espinoza
This is a great trilogy….and I love dark fantasy. I definitely recommend this series. It has so much to love…action, fantasy, danger, magic…..The story-telling from CL is top notch.
Book 1 The Crown of Stones Magic Price Wonderful fantasy story….Magic, mayhem, drama, danger and suspense that had me totally engaged to see what happens next. Ian Troy is a bounty hunter that is living in exile…paying the price of war. When his past comes crashing in will Ian Troy protect his people and land within his magic when he sworn off to use it…..
Book 2 The Crown of Stones Magic Scars This story was fantastic!! Magic, mayhem, drama and darkness… this fast paced story has it all. I very highly recommend reading Book 1 as this is Book 2 in the series and picks up a couple of years later where Ian Troy wakes after being imprisoned for 2 years….Drugged and beaten… Ian is tortured and comes around unbeknownst to him…a prisoner after 2 years….not remembering what happened. Of course King Draken is at his full rule and cruel and dark as ever. Ian Troy is rescued and trying to put the pieces back together especially trying to find the truth still in the Crown of Stones….
If you love a gripping fantasy story I very highly recommend this series.

Ooooo this I’m loving this cover ! It’s one of those you just want to climb into and enjoy for yourself 📚❣️
My bags are packed , my passport is ready , sunscreen and snorkel ready , I’m heading out 😉
So Hope has been working at the Rosemont Inn and has been dating Kyle for 2 years , life in Chicago is good , there’s a promotion up for grabs at the Inn and she applies , confident she’s going to get it , life seems good but life does have a way of throwing you a curveball or 2 at times and it would seem poor Hope not only doesn’t get the promotion but Kyle decides to move on to greener pastures 🤷♀️🙈
Don’t fret things do look up when she wins a dive resort in St Croix in the Virgin Island with a raffle ! I know what luck she had ! Change is as good as a holiday and those turquoise waters are just what she needed and didn’t even know it 😉well I do think Alex also plays a role 😍
The previous owner ups and leaves but instead of hitting panic stations Hope takes it in her stride but the staff were very good and so supportive , they’re their own little family really 🤗
Alex has scars but the island life seems to be good for him and as a dive master he’s living a good life but Hope lights a spark within that he didn’t think he’d feel again…..they’re each others healing balm actually and in such a beautiful setting !
I loved watching Alex and Hope evolve , heal and create their own story 🥰 looking forward to the rest of the series ❣️📚

Here is a little review of each amazing book of this trilogy.
This is the first book in this series by this truly talented author and I am telling you now I can’t wait for more. I was completely hooked from start to finish! I don’t want to go into too much detail about storyline as I don’t want to give too much away so I will just say that it is such an intricately woven and creative storyline, so packed full of action that you will not be able to resist turning page after page! I felt so fully immersed in this world. I truly could imagine everything that was happening and envision it so clearly thanks to the fantastic writing of this author. I can’t explain how or why it happened so quickly but Ian weaved his way into my heart right from the start and I know he will stay there for a very long time which is definitely not something I expected when starting a Fantasy series! If magic, adventure, intense drama and suspense are your thing then this series is for you!
I said it with the first Book and I will say it again I was completely hooked from start to finish! In fact I think this book had me even more hooked because i literally could not put it down. Again I don’t want to go into too much detail about storyline as I don’t want to give too much away but I will say we see Ian again after 2 years of being drugged, tortured and imprisoned. How quickly and completely this author gets me so fully immersed in this world is truly amazing. I could so easily imagine everything that was happening and envision it so clearly thanks to the fantastic writing of this author. I am not wasting a single minute before moving on to book 3.
OMG!! I thought the first two books had me hooked but damn this one REALLY kept me turning page after page and ignoring everything else around me! Sorry family LOL. I had to see how it would all turn out. I really went on a far more emotional rollercoaster then I would have initially expected from a Fantasy series. This author truly is AMAZING, creating characters, storylines and worlds that weave into your heart in totally unexpected ways. This should not be read as a standalone. You MUST start from the beginning of the series to fully enjoy this captivating, action packed world. You wont be disappointed in any way! Ian you will always hold a small piece of my heart.

Schneider – Review by Jules Herbert
Lucy- actress, model, can play instruments and sing… Has family in the mafia that keeps her safe. Everything is basically handed to her on a silver platter with no hard work put in.
Jesse- a rockstar who Lucy has had a crush on since 7th grade.
Lucy is a fan girl of Jesse, literally even when she is 23 she still acts like a teenager around him. She meets him in an airport and gets his autograph and then years (6) later she is a dancer in one of his music videos. Even though they had only met that once he still remembered her and her name… weird…. She has no control over her emotions and even though she is some big actress she doesn’t know how to act normally around other stars?
I get this is fiction, really I do, but this book has no plot and doesn’t seem realistic AT ALL… which makes it harder to even relate with the MC and get sucked into the book.
Crush since 7th grade. Even reasoned with her cousin when they started seeing each other how she had been fantasizing about him since she was 12. MFC is 23 but never says how old the MMC is… is this an age gap romance? Any girl Jesse has slept with in the past are all “sluts” and “whores”… childish much? Oh wait, it gets better… any female who is not a family member are “sluts” and “whores” *Insert eye roll here* Somehow throws a band together and makes an album in 10 days? I get it her rockstar boyfriend called in some favors to help her… but 10 days?!?! Okay! Plus so much more! The sex scenes aren’t that great, so if you came for the smut this is not the one for you.
This book is a quick read but I just didn’t like it at all. I was trying to find another rockstar story to love like the first one I read… and this one just isn’t it! I will not be reading any of the other books in this series.

Ian Troy was born to a race of magical people. His lineage was to be a soldier. He fought to drive the Langorians from the land. What happens is a tragedy. Ten years later, will history repeat itself? This book is full of intrigue that keeps you guessing where the story will lead with battles being fought, who is truly an ally and who is a foe.

It all started with a book about the Amazon society and it’s advanced populace and technological domination, so when a chance to open a door to this almost magical place appeared, there was no other answer than yes, especially when the opportunity came up for actually going through it!
This was not the reality when opening her eyes for the first time after travelling through the doorway, however, a very friendly queen showed her their current society and what made it that way. As some things clicked into place and a new way of life was found, it also left more questions than answers, but at the same time, unconventionally comforting.
One surprise was the physical and emotional reaction to two men in particular, the desire and fate surrounding the inevitable was hard to resist, but will a way home be found and normality resumed, or will this way of life become something loved? This is a sci-fi romance with plenty of action and adventure throughout which will keep you rooted to your seat.

Dark is the Wood is the first book in the Enchanted Tales with Dragon Scales series by Kristin Ward. Gillian’s brother has caught the illness that has taken the lives of many. She heads into the Shadowlands to find a way to save him. Getting kidnapped was not what she had planned. The world building was really good, but I was a bit disappointed with the characters. I like a good enemies to lovers story, but there was more enemies than lovers in this book. There were several aspects that I think were rushed when they shouldn’t have been. Overall I do think this was a great idea, and a worthwhile read. I plan to pick up the next book and also check out what else Kristin Ward has to offer.

This book was good! I wasn’t sure what to expect because I went into this book blind. I was pulled in from page one, with new planet/aliens, time travel, interesting plot twists and adventure. I liked the direction the author took this story and i can’t wait to read more by this author! Happy Reading!

Great characters and a fun story! Everybody always dreams of a change in pace or a spontaneous shift in their everyday life. The main character in this story gets just that. A second chance, a chance to start over. And, coincidently, a chance to find love. Read this book if you love romance, fate, and happily ever after.

This book was just as good as Wrecked. I found myself diving right in. The writing is done to be very engaging. You are captured by the characters. I noted that the ones from Wrecked are intertwined in this one so the books are better read in order. The emotion of the story is felt as you are reading. As Fiend goes through his struggle, you can feel it. This is a powerful story.

Soul Sacrifice by Courtney Davis is yet another example of why she is one of my favourite authors. I can’t believe more people haven’t heard about her books- because she really knows how to weave a fantastic tale. I have read most of her books now and just adore her work- she really is an amazing storyteller who produces fresh, original, and creative stories that fire my imagination and leave me wanting to stay in the ‘worlds’ and stories she creates. I have definitely developed an addiction to her work… This a captivating urban fantasy with a dystopian setting/dystopian society, caste-like system, romance, very original premise, soul mates, agendas, danger, drama, high stakes, action, adventure, tension, intrigue, chemistry, suspense, a quest, gods, a soul curse, self-discovery, emotion, secrets/deception, betrayal, a race against time, politics/government conspiracy & control, the haves and have nots, and much more. The world has been cursed by the gods. A society of Fullsouls, Halfsouls, and Nosouls- where Halfsouls not only need to find their soul fragment, but then battle it out for the chance of a Fullsoul life. Oh yeah- sign me up. I’m in. Ms. Davis had me completely captivated by the synopsis before I had even read one word. Ebony is a Halfsoul who desperately needs to find the other part of her soul. But in the society she lives in, she practically has no rights, and will need some ‘expert’ help to track her soul-half down…. time is running out. The most successful searcher is Lark Duport and his team, and so Ebony seeks them out hoping they can help. But their initial ‘meeting’ doesn’t go so well, so it looks like she’s on her own in the search for her Halfsoul. But Lark has a change of heart and they are soon thrust into a dangerous adventure that neither could have really predicted. Things are not quite what they seem – and what they uncover has far reaching implications. What happens makes for a fascinating read. This is one adventure you won’t want to miss. The story is told from multiple POVs, which gave me a deeper perspective of what was going on. I really would love to read more from this ‘world’, and characters, and find out what happens now that the ‘team’ have a better grasp of what happened/going on. Highly recommended!!! Can’t wait to see what Ms. Davis has in store for us next! Happy Reading…

The Crown of Stones Complete Trilogy by C.L Schneider is a fantastic way to discover this great series and author. The trilogy is beautifully bundled into this handy boxset so you can binge the entire trilogy with no wait between books. #winning #threebooksforthepriceofone This is an intricately woven, action-packed high fantasy series- with a bit of a swords and sorcery feel, magic, adventure, intensity, drama, originality, brilliant world building, surprising developments, intrigue, suspense, and so much more. I am a sucker for anything epic fantasy, so it was a no brainer when I discovered this series- grabbing a copy and immediately diving in. The story is darker than I had initially expected, with a raw grittiness that really gave it an extra element of interest. It is also a very imaginative and original take on epic fantasy- especially with the lore of magic being so unique to this series. Ms. Schneider brilliant world building skills are really highlighted here- as the world is ‘alive’ and entirely realistic and believable- so richly painted with attention to detail to all the different races, histories, and culture/s.
-Magic Price (Book #1) Ian Troy is a bounty hunter living a life of self-imposed exile. Living with the ghosts of the past which haunt his days and invade his nights. He single-handedly ended a war- but has been paying the price ever since. But when the past returns with a new threat against him, the land, and his people- Ian has no choice but to wield magic again. There is much at stake- but what will the price be this time?
-Magic Scars (Book #2) The story starts off a couple of years after the events in book one. Ian Troy had been imprisoned, tortured, and drugged to suppress his magic. He is ‘battle-scared’, both physically and mentally. The world he returns to hasn’t fared much better than him- suffering at the hands of the new High King. Ian is the only hope of freeing the people, and so there is much at stake. He carries a heavy burden of responsibility but struggles to piece his life back together again after what happened. What about The Crown of Stones- and what of his connection to it? His addiction to magic is also a problem. So, he starts searching for the answers he needs- delving into the past to find them, where he uncovers ancient secrets that have shocking implications, not just for him, but for his entire race. What price will the magic cost him this time- and will he find the resolutions he is looking for? Again, this is pretty dark and heavy- and I was left really feeling for Ian and what he had been through, and what was still left for him to endure.
-Magic Borne (Book #3) This book sees the completion of Ian’s story- and what a journey it has been. Ian Troy had been through so much- and has borne the weight and price of the magic. All the pleasure, as well as the immeasurable guilt that has come with it. Ian wants a life of freedom- from slavery, suffering, and tyrannical rulers. Ian has carried a heavy burden, the hope of his people lies on his shoulders. So much hangs in the balance- and the outcome of his success. Ian has made some discoveries and finally learned what he has to do. He will need to destroy The Crown of Stones in order to free the people in the realm. Sounds pretty simple, right? But is it? And at what cost?
This is a fantastic story/series- really is epic, intriguing, unique and very creative. Ms. Schneider storytelling prowess is showcased beautifully in this series. I really recommend this series to anyone who loves an epic, action-packed fantasy! Happy Reading…

So the first book I read in this series was actually book number 2. I knew I had to go back and read the first one. I’m glad I did. Although I found book to enjoyable the information in book 1 helped me make sense of a few things. This series is a page turner. The creative world the author has created is by far one of the best I’ve encountered. I enjoy fantasy books (one of my favorite genres to read), this exceeded my expectations. I feel like I’m completely submerged in their world as I’m reading. The magic used in the story is a different flavor than I’m used to but it made it more interesting. There is never a full moment when n this story. Each character is unique and adds to the story. Even the ones you despise. Please give this series a chance. You won’t regret it!
Magic-Scars
This is by far one of the best series I have ever read. The amount of creativity and originality that went into creating this book is amazing. I could not put it down. I fell asleep reading it and picked it up as soon as I opened my eyes. I rejoiced in the small victories and hurt when Troy experienced the losses. I felt a sense of pride as his character evolved and he embraced who he was (lineage) while maintaining who he wants to be (better than his father and all the leaders focused on being the most powerful). Especially after what he went through in prison. I was completely shocked with learning about the door opener Lirih. The characters are so greatly written that any loss felt like I lost them. I highly recommend this book. It’s full of action, steam, love, and magic.
Magic-Borne
*Sigh* This is a bittersweet moment. Sweet because I thoroughly enjoyed this installment. Bitter because it’s the last one. This final installment blew my mind away. Ian Troy and his friends must face fate to save everyone. But in doing so will Ian finally turn into the beast he’s fought so hard against? Will he succumb to magic and turn out just like his father? It was captivating and page turning. At times intense. I haven’t enjoyed such a good book in a very long time. It’s definitely worth a read.
Boxed Set
I love that this is now in a box set! Easy to read in order now!

Hope Collins has just broken up with her boyfriend and quit her job. She needs to get away for a vacation, or just start over new. What better way to do that than to find out that you’ve won a scuba diving resort in the Carribbean? Unfortunately, the previous owner has gone and left you to fend for yourself. She finds help along the way from staff members that have been working there. She also has a potential love interest when she meets the scuba diving instructor named Alex. He has also been hurt and has been surviving, not truly living. Could Hope be the one to help him be whole again? Alex and Hope were enjoyable characters and I enjoyed reading this story. I have always wanted to go to the Carribbean and the descriptions in the book make me want to go even more. I hadn’t planned on starting a new series but I will definitely be reading the other books to see what Hope and Alex get up to.

Falling Down is a well written spicy romance story that has a killer soundtrack that I highly recommend you play along to feel the rockstar vibe throughout this book.
Jesse is a mega hot rockstar that the main character, Lucy has crushed over since being a pre-teen. A chance meeting in a Chicago airport when she’s in her late teens proves to be a bit overwhelming but also a kismet moment. Sparks fly but the timing is all off so both go on with their lives; his as a rockstar and she becomes a Hollywood actress.
Years later she finds herself fresh off the set of a new movie and finding the acting gig has lost its luster. While she and her sister meet to do a surprise music video gig with a music producer friend, they find themselves once again face to face with Mr Rockstar himself and his band.
I think the book flows rather well making this an easy to read book that romance fans will thoroughly enjoy, spice and all.

Hope is in a predictable rut. Even her boyfriend Kyle had compared her to a favorite pair of slippers. Eek! That’s until a day that turns everything upside down. Going into a interview for a raise in job and pay turns into becoming the owner of a scuba diving resort. On the Caribbean!! Talk about a life change! She can hardly believe it, while she upgrades to first class on the way to take things over and meet her new life. Why not splurge? But she isn’t prepared for what awaits her and the complications ahead. Alex, a dive instructor at the resort Hope just inquired, is okay with his life. Things are okay given his past. Content to his life he’s existing day by day. But fates seem to through them together. Mishaps pulling them into each other baths while both searching for something. But can either one trust again? With each other’s baggage there might be to much past stuff. Can these two come together and move past their past? Trust can sometimes be the only way. Leap of faith into the unknown. I can not wait to read more in this series!! I honestly thought this book was part of another series, but as soon as I started reading I realized I was in for something new. Boy was I surprise and excited at the same time! PS. I am bad at looking at names when it comes to not only books or authors names. I know, I know. Bad. But hey I got a great knew series out of it!! So hey! Win in by book! 🙂

I picked this up on a whim even though I was kind of on the fence about it. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it or not based on the cover and short synopsis. Once I decided to dive in, there was no going back. The author gripped my attention in the first few pages, and I couldn’t put it down! This was my first book by this author as well as the first book in the Planet Amazon series. I really loved this refreshing look on the world of Atlantis. This was a brilliantly written Sci-Fi Romance! Even if you think this book might not be for you, I highly recommend giving it a chance. It will probably surprise you and you’ll find yourself with your nose pressed to the pages just like I was. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series because I am addicted!

Since I hadn’t read anything by this author before, I wasn’t sure what I was getting into. I planned on just picking it up and reading a bit in my spare time here and there. It turned out to consume my entire day as I couldn’t put it down. This is the first book in the Half Moon Bay series, and I find myself already chomping the bit to pick up the next one! The characters are wonderfully relatable, and I found myself rooting for them from the very beginning. Hope and Alex have amazing chemistry, but they both also have a bit of baggage. The author does a marvelous job providing us with vivid imagery that transports you to a tropical island. Having quite a bit of scuba knowledge going into this book, I was thoroughly impressed by the accuracy that the diving scenes portrayed. I highly recommend picking this up if you tend to enjoy beachy contemporary romances!

Finding Hope: A Small Town Beach Romance (Half Moon Bay Series Book 1)
The book started in such a happy way. Hope was starting a new life in St. Croix after many years in Chicago, but how she got there was so very sad and we learn all about it.
Hope’s life was great until it wasn’t. She had a guy and a job with aspirations of moving higher up but that changes quickly. She leaves it all behind to go to Half Moon Bay
Alex hides a lot of his feelings, I think that is due to his time in the Navy and not showing weakness as a precaution. He loves his job and the Island and feels thrown off by Hope’s arrival for so many different reasons.
I have never left the US and would love to find a way to make a trip there. The island and people sounded absolutely wonderful.
I cannot wait to dive (pun intended) into book 2 in the series, and see what happens next.

Oh my gosh! I’m usually a sucker for Arthurian inspired tales, and this book did not disappoint! Sarah did a fantastic job with creating the character Morgan and brining her into the modern days. I loved this book so so much! Morgan struggles to use her magic it barely listens to her and it’s not a lot of it. Enter our mysterious stranger, who captures Morgan’s attention by telling her that she has a destiny, just like her aunt has told her time and time again. The story building and word building are absolutely phenomenal. Sarah had me sucked into her world she created from page one. I devoured this book like I was starving for something and this book was the only way I was going to be satisfied. I can’t wait to see what goes on in book 2!

This book draws you in from the first sentence. Join Andrea as she finally makes it to a place she has spent her whole life looking for. She is immediately thrown into their warrior mentality and starts to learn their way of living. This brings in mystery, action, and maybe even a little romance. You won’t be able to put it down until the end.

Picking Pismo was a wonderful story that gives you so much roller-coaster of emotions. Grief, love, a few secrets, friendships and never forget where you came from. When you lose someone in your life, sometimes you feel like it is hard to move past the ups and downs of that grief. Sisters, Claire and Alexis, need each other more than even after the loss of their mother. Claire takes over as guardian of Alexis, and she wonders if determination and strength are enough. When Claire meets David Clark, never expected to have feelings come into play, knowing that Claire and Alexis need to move on. As David gets to know Claire better, he has these fears and tries to breakdown the walls around his heart.
Both David and Claire have major reservations to continue with any romance, will apprehension come into play since Claire takes care of her sister and moving and also David has always self doubts when it comes to dating and relationships….be able to move forward together..
Definitely read and find out. This story is fantastic and my first book read by this author. I am excited to read more….
