Beachcomber Gone is the first book that I have read by Stephanie Queen and it was great even though I was lost because stupid me just jumps into reading a great story in the middle. The characters are great I love the way they play off of each other you could tell they belong together.
PI partners Dane & Shana are ready to tie the knot after years of trying to resist their love affair. But their visit to Shana’s hometown in Australia goes terribly wrong when old enemies track her down. Just when Dane thought they would marry, Shana’s gone…
Dane & Shana travel to Australia so that Dane can meet her family, but they land in a minefield of problems. Shana’s mother is being used as bait by an old enemy Shana helped convict in an old police pension fraud case.
Now the case has been re-opened amid speculation that there was an insider involved. Someone is trying to set Shana up to take the fall. Dane and Shana need to find the dangerous traitor inside her old police department and bring them down to keep Shana out of jail–and to keep her alive.
This is a great story I really enjoyed it now I have to go back to the beginning and read this great story..

Beachcomber Gone: Beachcomber Investigations Book 9: a Romantic Detective Series by Stephanie Queen. This is such a fun book. Its the story of P.I. partners Dane & Shana who have decided to finally get married. The story revolves around them going to Shana’s home to meet her family and of course it goes as wrong as it possibly can. Shana’s mom is being used as bait in an old case of Shana’s about police pension fraud. The case gets re-opened because they think someone on the inside was involved. They are working to keep Shana out of jail and to solve the case all in the process of trying to get married. This is a fun contemporary romance with lots of action.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Beachcomber Gone was a thrilling 5 star read and book 9 in the Beachcomber Investigations series. Stephanie Queen has once again pulled me right in.

Just when these two are finally taking a step forward by going to meet Shana’s family things take a big twist. Dane takes an important call while in flight to Australia, a call that changes everything.

Someone from the past has their sights set on Shana. They have her mother and are using her as bait to get what they want.

Can Shana prove her innocence in an old case of hers?
Can they save her mother before it’s too late? Can they ever get a HEA?

Shana is a very strong loving woman and I love that about her. Dane is a caring and protective man who would do anything for Shana. We get a great mix of so much in this story, thrilling twists and turns and edge of your seat moments. Secondary characters were great. You can read as a stand alone but I suggest reading from the beginning so you understand the whole story between Shana and Dane. I can’t wait to read more from this series/author.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Beachcomber Gone is book 9 in the Beachcomber Investigations series by Stephanie Queen, but it could be read as a stand alone book. I haven’t read the whole series, and I enjoyed this book. The chemistry between Dane and Shana is fun to read, and the book is full of suspense. The pace is quick, so it makes you not want to put it down.
Dane and Shana are finally engaged, and have decided to travel before tying the knot. They went on vacation to Australia, so Dane can meet Shana’s mom. But before they could even land, they found themselves in the middle of a case, and shortly after arriving, Shana is taken. She has become the lead suspect in one of her old cases, and must avoid being framed, while she and Dane work together to solve the case. Such a fun, fast moving book. I highly recommend it.

Beachcomber Gone: Beachcomber Investigations Book 9: a Romantic Detective Series by Stephanie Queen is a fun, thriller. Dane and Shana travel to meet Shana’s family in Australia. Things go out of control and the situation and people are not always what they seem. I recommend this if you like romance, great dialogue, and some thriller thrown in. I have not read the whole series and this can be read as a standalone. I think that something is lost because reading alone loses the buildup from the other books. I like the two main characters and their relationship. The story is a fast read and I was sorry when it ended. I am planning on reading more from the series since I have enjoyed the books I have read.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is book 9 in the “Beachcomber Investigations” Series. While it could probably be read as a stand-alone, I think it would be better to read the series in order. There is a common thread and recurring characters in each installment and reading the series will enhance each story.

As with the other books in the series, we follow the M/m on unexpected adventures. This is a story with romance, action, suspense and a little of everything else thrown in. It is a very quick read at about 150 pages but has the weight of a full bodied novel.

The series has been well plotted, characters are well developed and the story ebbs and flows in a way that keeps the reader interested.

I recommend this book, this series and this author.

Beachcomber Gone: Beachcomber Investigations Book 9 By Stephanie Queen is the ninth book in the Beachcomber Investigation series. I highly recommend if you haven’t already read the other books in this series you should. I’ve truly enjoyed this whole series and I just love Dane and Shana. This story is about Dane and Shana and them traveling to Australia so Dane can meet Shana’s family. But plans get changed when her mom is used for bait and threats are made. Sometimes things aren’t as they seem. Someone is out to set Shana up. Will they find out whom is responsible before it’s too late? I definitely was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what happens next. I highly recommend reading this, not only this book but this whole series. I look forward to reading more from this author.

I give Beachcomber Gone: Beachcomber Investigations Book 9: a Romantic Detective Series by Stephanie Queen, 5 stars.
*This review contains spoilers from previous books in the series*

Dane and Shana have finally decided to get married. But before they do, Shana wants to take him to Australia to meet her family. But it isn’t the vacation they hoped. Before they even touch down, they are warned of trouble. She has enemies who know of her trip and are waiting for her. The only people besides her family that know of her trip are her former coworkers from the police force. Could one of them have betrayed her? What exactly will they do if they get her? Can Dane keep her safe?

This book has all the action you would expect if you have read any of the books in this series. But this time they are in a different country. It fits right in with the other books in the series, yet it is different so you won’t feel like you’ve read it before. Plus Dane and Shana are a great main couple. Not to mention that we meet more new characters. I would really love to see more of Shana’s mother in future books.

I highly recommend this book if you like your action with a side of romance. I for one could not put it down once I started.

Nothing puts the brakes on a prewedding visit to your hometown like finding out what you thought was a closed case has been reopened because of a possible insider. Shana wants Dane to meet her family before they get married but Murphy’s Law is in full effect and everything seems to get worse.
I felt so frustrated and angry for all the curves thrown at Shana and Dane. I love these characters and I just want them to be happy. But then again, that doesn’t make for a very interesting story series. Danger around every turn in Australia? Super exciting and interesting! Each character is explored and has depth. I learn more about the couple in each story and the world building is fantastic. Attention to detail and in character arcs is brilliant. Kevin gives me creepy chills, Shana makes me want to cultivate my game face, and Dane’s deep affection for Shana makes me just want to hug him.
This could absolutely be a stand alone novel but I do not recommend it. This entire series is worth every second of read time.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Beachcomber Gone is the NINTH book in Stephanie Queen’s Beachcomber Investigations series! Nine books of goodness! You can reach each and every one of them as a standalone as they all have a ‘case’ that gets solved! I have read couple of other books in the series and enjoyed them tremendously and have the rest already downloaded and I have to admit that I also ventured out to Stephanie’s other series (Scotland Yard Exchange)…
So, Beachcomber Gone is another one of Dane and Shana stories and this time it hits close to home as it affects them personally! They get forewarned of the danger when they are on the flight to Australia (to visit Shana’s family) but unfortunately you cannot just parachute off the commercial flight and of course you cannot leave your family in danger (it is Shana’s mother who is being threatened…).
I love the chemistry between Shana and Dane, it is actually something beyond chemistry … it is sort of an addiction … Shana is Dane’s Achilles’ heel … He is one complex man and it makes the reading even more enjoyable! No simple bam-wham-mam … no no … it is a real dangerous story with not the usual backup and they don’t know who to trust and who not and … well, let’s just say that it was another brilliant instalment of the series and I wonder if I will last ‘til the day those two get married or will I have a heart attack first!

I was so happy to jump back into Dane & Shana’s story…I have read them all so far apart and can not wait to read them all back to back someday when the series ends…Although I don’t think I ever want this series to end. I will miss them all so much! I seriously do not recommend reading these out of order…The progression of these two awesome characters needs to be read in full and in order so that you get the full picture.

On a trip to Australia to meet Shana’s family which should have been a wonderful relaxing time turns to anything but relaxing by the time it is over. You just know something is going to turn bad when Dane gets a call while on the plane heading to Australia from his good friend Peter, the governor of Massachusetts who says…”Get off that plane before you land in Sydney”

It seems Shana’s past has other plans for the newly engaged couple and Shana’s Mom who is being used as bait.

This was just another amazing addition to this already amazing series. I love love love this author and can’t recommend her enough, this series in my opinion would make an awesome TV series and I can’t wait for the next one and am hoping that some of our favorite people from the past books get to come back into play.

Run..Don’t walk and one click this whole series 🙂

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Beachcomber Gone by Stephanie Queen is the ninth instalment in the Beachcomber series and this series just keeps getting better. All the usual characters are here to create a wonderful world of intrigue, twists and turns with a dash of romance to finish it off.

Shana and Dane having been skirting back and forth with their emotions in the previous books and finally in this book they decide to take it to the next level but just when they thought the world had forgot about them, a trip to Australia opens old wounds and the two of them are back fight against old enemies.

This book is full of excitement, thrilling cliffhangers and twists and turn which you have come to appreciate from the writing of Stephanie Queen. I have always had a soft spot for Shana as a bad ass investigator who drives to seek the truth and the pair up with the quite but deadly Dane just adds the emotions in the book and books. Although this I feel can be read as a stand alone book I would not recommend it, you need to understand the dynamic between the two characters and how the other eight books have got us to this point.

As always the story flows through with you on the edge of your seat straight from the first chapter, the characters are well developed and the secondary characters just add to the whole feel of the book. As always this book was a pleasure to read and I really hope there is another book in this wonderful series and it never ends and that Dane and Shana will be in their eighties still fighting crime.

Beachcomber Gone is the ninth book in the Beachcomber Investigations Series by Stephanie Queen. Beachcomber Gone is a romantic suspense story that keeps you guessing. Dane and Shana work together in more ways then one. They go to Australia so Dane can finally meet Shana’s family. That does not go as they had planned. Unfortunately they find out Shana’s mom is being threatened. It is not what they expected. Will Shana and Dane figure out what is going on before something happens?

Another great book by Stephanie Queen in the Beachcomber Investigations series. Beachcomber Gone keeps you turning the page, because you do not want to stop reading. You want to find out what is going to happen next. The writing is engaging, descriptive and flows. The characters are well developed and believable. I definitely recommend Beachcomber Gone as well as the first eight books in the series.

Beachcomber Gone by Stephanie Queen is the ninth book in the Beachcomber Investigations series. This book can be read as a stand-alone although we are introduced to these characters in previous books. For this reason I would recommend reading in order although it isn’t necessary.
This book has a little bit of everything. It has the romance. It has the action. It has emotions. It has a well written and thought it story. And most importantly it has main characters that you want to read about. The author pulls you into their story from the moment you start reading them, be it in this book or previous books. The story developed suits them and the way they are makes it more exciting to read.
The book is fast paced and takes you, as the reading, an exciting journey. This is a great book and a brilliant series.

Dane and Shana find trouble where ever they go! Of course they can’t just take a simple visit to see her family. And they’re engaged but I want their wedding! I’m greedy like that. Things get crazy when they get to Australia, an old crime is trying to pin itself to them, and the news spreads the lies. See? Crazy. I like Shana’s brother, I feel like it would be fun to read more about him. Lots of action, adventure, and surprises in book 9.

This is a series I have been following and it never seems to disappoint for a good mystery novel. This book will throw you into Shana going missing in her home town right before she is to marry. This book will throw you for a loop. At spot I found the pace a little slower than I would like but I always seem to want to rush through to the good parts as well. You know that finding her is fast and you need to do it. The author has a good eye for detail and sometimes can seem a little over detailed but it works with her writing style. Good book! Beachcomber Gone is the ninth book in the Beachcomber Investigations series by
Stephanie Queen. This is a romantic detective series with mystery, suspense, some drama, action, intrigue, danger, set-ups, and more… This story could be read as a standalone, but I would recommend reading some, if not all the other books, just to get a better understanding of these wonderful characters, their backstories and everything they’ve been through to get them to this point.
Another brilliant instalment from Ms. Queen. There really is so much to love about this series and characters, and I have become quite emotionally invested in Shana and Dane’s lives- all the while following them on their investigations/adventures and trying to unravel everything and piece it all together as it all plays out.
I never tire of Ms. Queen’s stories, and she manages to pull me in each and every time with her addictive plots and descriptive style. Her attention to detail makes the stories come to life in a very realistic and believable way. The characters are complex, a little quirky and entirely endearing. Ms. Queen always delivers, and this book is no exception!
As Dane and Shana look to take their relationship to the next level, they travel to Australia so Dane can meet Shana’s family. But with these two, danger is never very far away. So, before the first chapter has even ended, Dane and Shana find themselves thrown headfirst into a case that will test them on every level. With set-up, old cases and enemies coming back to haunt her- the action, tension, conflict and danger had me on the edge of my seat. Can they find a way out of this predicament, or will this be the case that breaks them?
Another brilliant Beachcomber novel. I love catching up with these two characters and their stories just seems to get better and better as the series progresses!

Thank you, Ms. Queen!

When Shana’s past enemies come calling, will she take the fall for something she didn’t do? I enjoy these two characters, they have such chemistry and work so well together. They took me on a journey of twists and turns that left me sitting on the edge of my seat, I had to know if Shana would go to jail or not! Beachcomber Gone by Stephanie Queen, is another great story in this series that I love. Her writing skills and the amazing wonderful characters, Dane and Shana, and the situations they find themselves in, make for some interesting adventures. Stephanie draws you in with intrigue and mystery, seduction and love, high running emotions and some badass PI skills. It’s taken a while for these two to fully commit to one another, especially with Dane’s closed off heart, but as you come to expect from these two, nothing ever goes as planned and there is always a mystery to solve. However, the odds just got a little tougher when dealing with high up Police officials and the whole country is looking for you.

By: Stephanie Queen
5 out of 5 stars

The story Beachcomber Gone: Beachcomber Investigations Book 9 by Stephanie Queen is a romantic suspense book that I loved reading. I have loved this series ever since I read the first story. One of the reasons is the characters of Dane and Shana. These two found an attraction to each other from their first meeting and it has only grown ever since. When reading about them you know they are meant to be together. Life is never boring for them. This story has the couple traveling to Australia so that Dane can meet Shana’s family. Those plans are interrupted when Shana’s mother is used as bait and threats made. It soon becomes apparent that not all is as it seems, and someone is out to set Shana up. Will Dane and Shana find out who is responsible before Shana is arrested or hurt? Read this story to find out. This book has action and danger around every corner as this couple tries to unravel the mystery of who a traitor is. Plans and strategies are formed in which the safety of those involved can’t be guaranteed. It had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. It had me turning pages. I also enjoyed reading about the additional characters, how they fit into the story and their interactions with Dane and Shana. This is a book and series that I would highly recommend reading.
