They are characters that made me laugh in parts and compassion in the other. The chemistry between these two is strong and I found myself hoping they would find their HEA. I loved this book! This author had me pulled right into the story from the beginning. It is a fast paced story that I read in one sitting. The characters, Lexi and Jack made me laugh but also felt compassion for Lexi. I enjoyed how in this book we get to see what Dani’s story is, we got to meet her in one of the previous books. She is a woman who is afraid of men and loves to bake. She meets Patrick when she is dropping off cupcakes at his place of work. She has many insecurities which I felt for her but she is still a strong character. Will Patrick be able to teach her to trust men especially him? I highly recommend this book to find out if there is a happy ending in their future.
