This is the first book that I have read from this author and she now has a new fan. I love a good sports romance but this author exceeded all my expectations. This is the first book of the college sports romance series. When I got this book I could not put it down. The characters make you addicted to their story. I didn’t stop until the end and now I want more. It only took me a few hours to devour this incredible book.

Tessa Parker is starting her college year and she wants to get her education and get out. She loves being the librarian at her school library. Tessa keeps running into this hot guy, Jordan Davis. He is the star basketball player and womanizer of the school. Tessa tries to stay away but he asks her to help him because underneath all the fame he is really smart. She gets to know him and she quickly realizes she is falling for him. Tessa doesn’t know if she can survive in his world and do they want her in his world? Will they be able to make it or are their worlds too different?

What happens when you are the one who is always in the background but then you fall for the rising star in the basketball team?

Jordan is the basketball star who can have anything he wants but when he sees Tessa something happens that he can’t be without her. Tessa is not one for the limelight but with her attraction to Jordan is unmistakable, can this relationship start or last.

This is a young adult contemporary love story and at first I thought it was going to be the same formula of sport superstar falling in love with the small timid girl who is always in the background, but this story also had more substance and the chemistry between these two characters was brilliant.

I enjoyed the conversations these two characters had and that there was more than just romance are the driving for to their relationship. This is the first book I have read by this author and would love to read more books in the future, it’s great to read books were the characters and story are well developed and engaging.

Breaking Tessa by T. Christensen is a college sports romance. I should add that though I wasn’t expecting it, this book ends on a cliffhanger but is still totally worth reading! I know a lot of people don’t like cliff hangers but do not pass up this book!!

Tess is very much a stay out of the spotlight kind of girl. She doesn’t go looking for the attention. She stays in the background. Jordan is completely the opposite as the star of the basketball team. The first time Tessa sees Jordan, she can’t take her eyes off of him. Jordan notices but still goes on his way until they run into each other again. Tessa tried but she couldn’t resist him. They definitely have a connection that is more than just mutual attraction but they come from very different worlds. Will these two be able to make a relationship work or are they just too different?

I couldn’t put this book down! I’m pretty sure I finished it in a day. I felt for Tessa. She felt out of her depth with Jordan but she really cared about him. There were some pretty emotional parts in this book and I could feel everything. It’s very well written and I cannot wait for the next book!

Breaking Tessa: A College Sport Romance by T. Christensen was a great 5 star read.
I was excited to read this book, once I started I didn’t want to put it down.

I really liked Jordan and Tessa. Tessa likes to keep to herself but when she meets Jordan things change. Jordan is a basketball start that gets everyone’s attention. But when Tessa gets his attention it’s game on. This is a great opposites attract sports romance. They of course have a not so easy path to true love. All of the characters were great but I didn’t care too much for his mother.

Will these two get a HEA?

Overall this was a great read and I look forward to reading more from this author. 1-click and get started today on this great read.

This is a YA/College Romance. The main characters are older college students and there is lots of parties and sex in this book. While Jordan is a basketball player and a player on and off the courts, Tess is his total opposite. She is quiet and reserved. Can Jordan manage to put his playing days aside and become a one woman man?
This is book one in a duet. I am looking forward to book 2.

Wow! I loved everything about this book! This story had me, my emotions and my heart all over the place. At first I was thinking that this would be another rich, popular, star athlete, falls in love with the pretty, shy and slightly less fortunate girl. In a way it was, but it was also so much more. I was waiting and waiting for the bomb to drop in their relationship and when it did it was not what I was expecting at all! Tessa is a sweetheart, I don’t know how anyone could dislike her but, Jordan’s nasty mom sure does. She is basic snotty rich house wife that thinks any girl her son has needs to be elite. The relationship between Tessa and Jordan is beautiful and then towards the end I started getting nervous for Tessa, Jordan seemed too distracted to make time for her, and a certain thing that he makes her do alone, whew, my heart just shattered. I need more! I can’t wait until the next book because I have to see what happens. Highly recommend this book!

Breaking Tessa: A College Sport Romance by T. Christensen is a story of two opposites and what happens when their worlds collide unexpectedly. This book is an emotional rollercoaster that will leave you thinking about it long after you have finished reading the book.
I have only read a few books by this author but I have to say this one so far is my favourite. There was just something about Tessa and Jordan that drew me in completely and refused to let go. I instantly connected with their characters and I really felt like I was going on their journey with them! I enjoy the fact that this author doesn’t stick with the HEA type story and isn’t afraid to make you, as the reader, step a little outside of your comfort zone. It always makes the books feel more real.
This is an amazing book and one I enjoyed immensely from start to finish. I cannot wait to see what happens next!

If you like college romance with emotion, you’ll love this book. Jordan and Tessa were electrifying from the first moment they met. I was immediately drawn in and immediately invested in finding out what happened next. This is part one of a duet so there is resolution to wait for as to be expected. But an excellent book and one absolutely worth reading.

Breaking Tessa: A College Sport Romance by T. Christensen

I’m not a fan of cliffhangers because I have little patience and want to know what happens now and the idea of having to wait drives me insane to the point that I usually avoid them.  When reading the synopsis I missed the bottom paragraph mentioning it was one and I’m so glad I did.

The thought of not reading this book actually makes me sad.  I fell in love with Jordan and Tessa from the moment they met.  She’s the wallflower and he’s the jock and they somehow make it work.

I think my favorite scene was the party at the beginning and Lindy.   She is an amazing supporting character and hope to see more of her in the next book and maybe get her own book.

I’m dying to know what happens!  How am I going to survive this wait?  I’m hoping it will only be a few months and not several before the next book is released.

I do love me some sports romances, throw in the whole opposites attract and you have one heck of a winner for me for a great Sunday afternoon read. Breaking Tessa is the epitome of an opposites attract trope, but it is done with some extra pizazz and with the sports theme underlying. Tessa Parker wants nothing more than to blend in and stay under the radar so to speak. Jordan Davis is the star of the show everywhere he goes thanks to his basketball skills. These two will meet and change the course of their lives. Will they find a way to come together and last despite the very different views on life? I love how this being predictable didn’t kill my enjoyment of the story. It sucked me in and I just had to know how Tessa and Jordan’s story played out. I look forward to seeing what we will get next from T. Christensen!

I enjoyed this sports romance story. This is an author that continues to impress me with her writing skills and her attention to details. I enjoyed being pulled in right from the beginning. The characters are connectable and they made the story enjoyable to read. This is an engaging story that kept me turning pages. This is a story that puts the theory of opposites attract to the test. Jordan is a well known basketball star and Tessa is not used to all the glamor and glitz that follow Jordan. Will they find a middle and get a HEA? Their chemistry is strong even if they are opposites. I found myself hoping they would find the happiness they so deserved. This was a great romance story that I would highly recommend.

Being in the spotlight and not liking the spotlight make things a bit tough for first time love. Will these to make it through? T leaves us with a cliff hanger. Now we have to wait and see what comes next.

Yikes! This story is a rolling hill of ups and downs. I loved the main characters then didn’t understand them back to aww that is so cool/sweet. Jordan comes off like a major player in the beginning and I didn’t like him. I just keep waiting for the shoe to drop….it seems weird he would give up the every night female companions and not go back to it. But I have been surprised by characters before and so far he has me baffled. It almost seems like he is looking for different….wanting to go against the grain.

Overall the story drew me in like a car crash. I couldn’t stop reading. The characters are late college age and still act it. Drama, parties and lots of sex. While I am not a fan of duets I do enjoy this author’s work so decided to give it a try.

Breaking Tessa by T. Christensen. These are such fun books. This one is the story of Tessa Parker who has spent her whole life trying not to get attention. Tessa hasn’t had the best of luck in life and she grew up in the inner city of San Jose so the spotlight has never been on her radar. Jordan Davis is a college basketball star and he is the star of the hour everywhere he goes. Jordan’s life is going to be more chaotic by the day if he continues to pursue basketball and since that is all he knows it will be his life’s journey. When he and Tessa meet sparks fly. But can Tessa learn to deal with all the publicity when she hates being in the spotlight. I loved reading the book Breaking Tessa by T. Christensen. It is a story that will pull you in from the beginning. I loved the characters of Jordan Davis and Tessa Parker. Tessa is a young woman who doesn’t crave the spotlight. Jordan is someone who is used to the limelight. They find they have a connection and attraction to each other. There is no doubt as to their feelings for each other. Will their relationship work? Read this book to find out. Tessa and Jordan are characters that I grew to care about what happens to them with each chapter that I read. Tessa is intelligent and head over heels for Jordan. Jordan is an amazing basketball player who is on a path that has him a rising star. The book had my emotions going up and down. There are also very romantic scenes included. Don’t miss out on a story that will have you hooked and not wanting to put it down until the final page. I highly recommend reading it.

Breaking Tessa: A College Sports Romance by T. Christensen is the first book in a new duet, and as the title would suggest, a college sports romance. This is a YA/new adult romance- with a snapshot of college life, basketball, drama, angst, emotion, opposites attract, and a bit of a cliffhanger ending.
It took me a little bit to warm up to Jordan and Tessa- I really can’t pinpoint exactly why, but I was interested in the outcome of the story all the same. I am hoping that they will win me over in book two. The characters were well developed, fully realised individuals with their own unique personalities, quirks and flaws which helped to make the story come to ‘life’.
Waiting on book #2 to see how things will play out.
