Jake the Growling Dog Goes to Doggy Daycare: A Children’s Book about New Experiences, Friendship, Stress Relief, and Kindness
by Samantha Shannon

This was such a cute book with a good source of education with it. Jake is nervous and worried about going to doggy daycare. For him this is a really stressful situation. I really enjoyed how his friends were able to help him get through this and he was able to realize there was fun to be had once he let himself get past his apprehension. The illustrations in this book were awesome and the activities in the back were helpful and fun. I think this book is good for all ages. I read it to my granddaughters and they loved it. I recommend this book.

Every Last Psycho: A Collection of Two Novellas
by Zarina Macha

This is a dark and haunting read. Both books were very intriguing and informative. The first one is about Tess and her schizophrenic spiraling that brought forth an emotive response. I found myself hoping that despite her mental illness she could find some long term happiness. I liked the characters of her two good friends that just wanted what was best for her and wanted to be there for her as much as they could for their age.
The second story was about Evelyn and this book also brought up emotions, it was just a different kind. It’s a sad thing to read about someone who doesn’t feel the things that you know most of us feel. The author did an excellent job writing about these issues that I honestly don’t know much about. I had a hard time putting this book down. I found it to be different from anything I have read before. I recommend this book.

This is the first time I have read a book by this author and I’m so glad I decided to read this one. This story was emotional and drew me in from the beginning. I found this story to be realistic, full of hope, and wonderful characters. The struggles of balancing life and love can be difficult and when Livy and Jeremy find themselves questioning their love will going back to remember how they fell in love help them? I found my heart hurting for them at times and rooting for them as well. We get background information on each of these characters which helps us know them better and I think that makes this book that much better. The author did an exceptional job portraying what most of us have felt at one time or another. I can’t say enough good things about this book. I highly recommend reading it.

Holding Out for You

I absolutely LOVED this book!! I started reading this book before bed and my husband wakes up as the sun is coming up, turns and looks at me and I’m still reading, he just shakes his head at me. I could not put this book down, I was completely drawn in. I fell in love with Ash, Blair, Charli, and Becker, their relationships made me laugh and cry and everything in between. Even some of the other characters like Ash’s mom and stepdad, Beck and Blair’s parents, made this story have that many more layers. Watching in my mind’s eye Blair and Ash’s relationship grow and change from childhood to adulthood, from picking on each other relentlessly to trying to figure out what their relationship is now was awesome. One night changes everything for Blair and the rest of them and I thought the author wrote about this difficult situation very well. If I could give this book more than five stars I would. This is a must read and I know this will be a book I will reread multiple times. I highly recommend this book.

I found this book to be unique and intriguing. I am very interested to see where this series takes us because having a shifter fae with powers that have yet to be tapped into leaves me on the edge of my seat wanting more. I really enjoyed the many different characters we got to meet that make up this original story. This book started out a little slow but before long I was drawn right in and found I couldn’t put it down. The author wrote with such detail that I felt like I was there going along on this adventure. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book. I highly recommend this book

This was a short, quick, very steamy read. Elizabeth is feeling neglected by her cheating husband. With her son leaving for college she is feeling that much more lonely. Hugh, her son’s best friend, makes her forget all those bad feelings. He makes her feel sexy and more than a trophy wife. I wish this story was longer because it was such a good read I wanted more. I can’t wait to read more by this author. I recommend this book.

This is such a sweet romance. This is the first book I have read by this author and I’m glad I have a new one to add to my must read collection. This story is about Alex and Max who have been best friends for a very long time. They find that each of them seem to be in a predicament and their solution is to get married. Alex has found herself pregnant from a one night stand and her job may be in jeopardy. Max is a business owner running for a political office and he needs to fix his playboy reputation. I found myself rooting for these two because they both deserve love and happiness. This book was very well written, I was drawn in and loved the characters. I highly recommend this book.

Wow what a riveting story!! I thoroughly enjoyed every nail biting moment. Gen, a very successful attorney has just defended her friend, boss, and mentor of murder charges. Right after he is set free is where things start to take a more interesting turn. Gen is starting to doubt the man she defended. The author did an excellent job of putting me through a psychological roller coaster that I just couldn’t get enough of. This book kept me on the edge of my seat, it was full of mystery, twists and turns, danger, suspense, some romance and more. I feel like I am not able to find the right words to give this book justice. I will say this, I stood up all night reading this because I could not put it down!! This is a must read!! Once I started reading this book I was hooked. Dystopian stories aren’t what I usually read but I’m glad I decided to read this one because I loved it.The author took me on an adventure of action, danger, romance, originality and great world building. So much changed for Thea and her brother after the war reached Austria and they became refugees. I enjoyed the character growth and the detail in this book made the story that much more real and vivid. This was a great read and I highly recommend this book.

I loved each one of these books, and am so glad they are being sold in a boxed set. Each of these are standalone stories with their own wonderful characters. Ms. Montgomery is an exceptional author that writes such realistic stories that are emotionally driven. I enjoyed all these books for different reasons but each of them take you on a journey of love and the fight that it sometimes takes to get there. I can’t say enough good things about these three books, Badge Bunny, Wedding War, and Stage Mom, but I will say they are a must read. The characters are so realistic and I found that I became invested in their happiness. I highly recommend this boxed set.

The author knocked it out of the park again. I loved this book just as much as the first one. It is my suggestion that you read the first book before diving into this one. This book had the same great characters and added some more. There is action, suspense, and unexpected twists and turns. Dylan is so awesome, her mouth and curiosity gets her in trouble more often than not. I found this story to be unique and entertaining. Once I started reading this book I found that I couldn’t put it down until I got to the end and once I reached the end I was left on a cliffhanger, losing my mind!! I cannot wait to read the next one, I have no doubt it will be just as awesome. I highly recommend this book.

She always felt different from others and I loved the feeling she got when she transformed for the first time, it made her feel more like herself. In this story there is friendship, growth, danger, adventure, history and more. This book draws you in and keeps you entertained needing to know what’s going to happen. This was a quick read but it had plenty going on and I enjoyed every minute of it. I loved Tiana and as much as she didnt want to attend the fae academy, she found out not everything is as it seemed. The attraction her elements felt toward each element prince was off the charts. Let’s not forget the man when that resides inside her, with all these men I don’t know who she will choose. It was a captivating original story that I had a hard time putting down. When I got to the end I couldn’t believe I was left hanging on the edge of a cliff!! Petrosky is barely holding it together because he’s still fighting to hold on especially as his dead daughter’s birthday is nearing. I stayed up way too late to finish this book because I was so invested and I needed to go where this would end. From one moment to the next I didn’t know what was going to happen or what twist was going to change what I thought I knew. This author is an exceptional writer, the suspenseful stories are top notch and must be read. This book is definitely one of the must reads I highly recommend this book.

I loved these books!! Reading James and Sarah’s story was emotional, entertaining, informative, fun and so many more adjectives that I can’t think of. We got introduced to them in the first book, Mountains Wanted and that’s when I became hooked. I became completely invested in these characters, they are so different from one another, I was anxious to see where it was headed. The next book, Mountains Climbed introduced us to new characters and also kept us wondering what was going to happen with James and Sarah. Although these two are so different in their relationship views, we found the heart wants what the heart wants, but is that enough? That is why I needed to read the third book Mountains Loved to find out. These books were so exceptionally written that I didn’t want to put them down. Phoebe Alexander is a wonderful writer and I can’t wait to read more books from her, I know I won’t be disappointed.  I highly recommend these books.

I really enjoyed reading this coming of age book. All the emotions, insecurities, and hormones that come with being a teenager were definitely felt by Leda and her friends. This story made me think back to when I was that age and I remember all those same feelings. Leda has liked Nico for as long as she can remember but does he feel the same way? These are questions coming from a teenager whose emotions are all over the place. Nico is what is thought of as a bad boy player with no feelings, but that doesn’t mean it’s true. There are some serious topics talked about in this book and it made me think about all things kids are dealing with. I really enjoyed reading this story. I have read other books by this author and I have always liked them very much and it’s the same with one as well. I highly recommend this book and I can’t wait to find out what happens next.

As soon as I started reading this story I was pulled in and I couldn’t put it down. There are so many wonderful characters in this book but I totally fell in love with Rhett and Eden. These two have been through a lot of heartache growing up but they have become strong independent people. Rhett is a professional hockey player, he is the third string goalie and hoping to learn as much as he can while he waits to be able to play. Eden is going to school and can’t wait to help children who are in a position that she was once in. The chemistry between these two when they meet is off the charts. Wow this book took me on an emotional rollercoaster.  After reading the first book there were so many things that I wanted to happen for James and Sarah, and it took me awhile to get over the fact that James got engaged to Maggie. In this book we got to get more about how James is feeling and boy is he going through a lot.  My heart goes out to him. Let’s not forget all the feelings that jump off the pages from what Sarah is experiencing. We also get to meet Garrett in this story and that to say the least is very interesting. There is so much more that goes on in this story than what I have mentioned but I don’t want to give anything away so I’m just going to say this is a must read and I need the next book now!!!
