Love Comes in the Mourning
by Erin Bevan

This was such a sweet and emotional story. There were definitely some tears and laughter while reading this book. Lesley has moved to a small town where she inherited a house from her aunt. She is recently divorced and is going to try to get on her feet again and regain her independence. John is a contractor who has lost his wife and is trying to keep his business afloat, but he isn’t sure he wants to work for a city girl. When these two meet there is definitely attraction but neither one of them are in the market for a relationship. As I got further into the story I couldn’t help but become invested in their lives and want what’s best for them. There are also other characters in this book that make this story that much better. The attention to detail in this book made it so I felt like I was right there in the story. I highly recommend this book.

I really loved the first book in this series, Be Brave With Me so I was very excited to read this one. I am happy to say that I wasn’t disappointed. I loved this sweet romantic story. My emotions were all over the place, there is laughter, love, tears, family, and friendship. I loved getting to know Sally and Nolan. Sally is an independent, business owner, city girl who’s life changes when her mom passes away from cancer. Nolan is a business owner and small town kind of guy, who has lost his wife to cancer. These two are opposites in many ways and when they meet for the first time the chemistry is there between them. Sally has a hard time letting people in, can she let down her walls enough to see if there’s anything that can grow between them. Nolan hasn’t wanted to try to date since his wife passed away because he feels like there was only one woman for him, but Sally has him feeling something he didn’t think he would feel again. What will happen between these two? There are also some other wonderful characters in this story that you won’t want to miss out on. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. I highly recommend this book.

IRRESISTIBLE WEDDINGS (Irresistible Romance Book 4)

This anthology has a little bit of something for everyone. I cannot pick a favorite because I truly loved them all, and they each have their own originality to them. I just finished the last book in this wonderful anthology full of emotion, I laughed, cried, got angry, and swooned. I found myself rooting for Jeremy and Christine in Two Hearts’ Alliance or laughing when Natalie almost hit Max with her car and as she’s walking away she says thank you, in Playing With Brides. Each of these stories touched my heart in one way or another. There are some authors that I am acquainted with and there were some that this is the first time I have read their work and I look forward to reading more because every single one of these authors are very talented writers.
I highly recommend reading this collection, you will not be disappointed!!

Wow what a great book! I was drawn into this story right away and unable to put it down. There are definitely some unexpected twists and turns that completely frustrated me but made it that much better. I love Lucy and Marco, their connection is epic. There are also other really great characters in this story. This book also makes you think about the bigger picture and how far can technology be taken. There are questions of morality as well. This book is filled with action, creativity, originality, and vivid detail. The author made me feel like I was watching this unfold because it felt so real and got me invested in the outcome. This book took some unexpected turns and had me hooked early on. Valerie is a social worker, who keeps people at a distance because of things that happened to her in her past. She does have a cat that she is very close to. She is told she has to run a trauma support group and she finds herself apprehensive in her ability to this. This story deals with some serious issues that might be difficult for some people. There are also other characters in this book that help bring this story to life. Valerie finds that some boundaries are getting blurred in certain situations. I don’t want to give anything away so I will just say that this is a must read and I cannot wait to find out what’s coming next. Wow this book had me hooked from the beginning. I was on the edge of my seat turning the pages wanting to know what was going to happen next. This book is full of action, suspense, danger, wonderful characters and more. I love Orla’s character, she is a reporter that is strong and independent and when she puts her mind to something there’s no stopping her. She is trying to stop a new drug from hitting the streets and she also wants to uncover who the vigilante is. The vigilante is also on a quest to stop the distribution of this awful drug. They find themselves working together and they can’t seem to stop the chemistry between them. This is a must read if you want to know if they are able to stop the drugs from being released and what happens between these two. I enjoyed every single one of these stories, I don’t think I could pick a favorite because each of them are special in their own unique way. I was most excited to read about Sophie and Wraith’s story, and Drummer and Sam’s but I did fall in love with every story. Of course each of these books has hot biker guys but they also have so much more. Each story took me on an emotional rollercoaster with its action, danger, suspense, drama, friendship, and love. Manda Mellett has become one of my favorite authors because of her extraordinary gift in telling a wonderful and intriguing story, as soon as you start reading one of her books you won’t be able to put it down. This was a sweet, funny, and sassy romantic read. When Charles and Caroline found themselves as best man and maid of honor and his brothers and her best friend’s wedding the attraction was off the charts. Caroline has a no dating rule because she wants to concentrate on her career and be the best architect she can be. Charles works for the family business and his last relationship didn’t end so well and he has taken a step back from dating. Caroline has a very strong personality and I found her to be very argumentative, unyielding, and she has quite the temper. Charles is smart, attractive and romantic and gives her a run for her money. I think their personalities balance each other out. I enjoyed this story and found it to be very well written. I have not read the previous two books and I will now be going back and reading those. I recommend this book.

I could not put this book down once I started reading it. This story is full of twists and turns and is full of action. I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what was going to happen next and trying to figure out who the good guys were and who’s not. Raina has worked really hard to change who she was when she was younger and keep to herself, even though the past still haunts her. On the way home from a movie one night she hits a man with her car and her world gets turned upside down, and now she doesn’t know who she can trust. I became completely invested in these characters. Once I started reading this book I was unable to put it down. I was so drawn in that I read it in one sitting. I was taken on a surprising roller coaster of emotion. I absolutely loved reading this story, the characters conveyed so many emotions throughout the story. Both Calum and Olivia had layers of feelings from their time together in high school and from their break up. Olivia has always been seen and the stuck up snotty girl but there’s more there than meets the eye. Calum who has now become an MMA fighter has resentment and anger built up for the way Olivia humiliated him, but there are other feelings buried deep inside. There are some really great supporting characters in this book as well. The author did an excellent job striking a chord inside of me and writing a wonderful and intriguing story. I absolutely loved reading this book. In this book Leda is in college and trying to find out what truly makes her happy. She is trying new things and is making sure she keeps up with her studies. Sergio has come back into the picture and Leda is trying to find balance so she doesn’t lose herself, what will happen if anything between these two? The things that her and her friends go through at this age is very relatable and I couldn’t help but be pulled into this story. The author’s writing is exceptional and keeps me wanting more. I loved this story. Even though it was a quick read it had plenty of emotion. Crystal, who just received news from her doctor, decided she’s going to have the time of her life at her best friend’s destination wedding. Crystal is a very independent woman and she is not looking for a relationship right now because she knows she’s going to have to deal with her medical issues when she gets home. This book is such a beautifully written story. Meg and Drew have both been through such tragedy that it’s completely heart breaking. Drew is working really hard at pulling himself up and out of his grief, depression, and anger even though the loss will always be with him, he has found a way with the help of his Nana to turn away from his self destruction. Meg left her home and has been driving since her tragedy, and she is still trying to figure out how to deal with her grief, she isn’t really taking care of herself. She finds herself in a small town when her car breaks down. This small town is where she meets Drew. Their attraction for each other is very high and Drew recognized the pain he sees in her eyes. Will they risk opening themselves up to take a chance on each other? Will Meg move on and keep running? This story was very emotional, heart warming, and got steamy as well. This is a wonderful romantic read. I enjoyed the recipes that were put in the book, I can’t wait to try them out. Kally and Max have both been hurt in the past and aren’t in a place where they are looking for a relationship. When Max walks into Kally’s bakery for the first time and they see each other the attraction is off the charts. Max makes the decision that he’s going to go for it but Kally is resistant at first but she does have a soft spot for Max’s daughter Athena. The more time these two spend together their chemistry can be felt jumping off the pages. Kally doesn’t trust people and then a situation happens where Kally feels betrayed by Max, which is mostly because her trust issues leave no room for explanations or mistakes. I really enjoyed how there is more than one love story in this book, we hear about her grandmother and grandfather, and also her own mother and father. The author drew me in with such wonderful characters, and a story written about tragedy, love, hope, family and romance. You must read this if you want to find out what happens between these two. I highly recommend this book and I can’t wait to read the next one.

In this book Leda and Nico are a little bit older and with that comes more peer pressure. Leda gets more of an understanding as to why Nico is the way he is. Leda finds herself questioning when is a good time to decide to have sex, it seems everyone has a different opinion on this subject. The author did a wonderful job touching on some difficult issues that I thought were handled very well. The things some of these characters go through are a very realistic depiction of what a lot of teens go through. The detail written of different places in Italy they traveled to made me feel like I was there. This book is well written, and I couldn’t help but get invested in these characters. I recommend this book.
