Tempting Fate: a dark and angsty love triangle romance (Black Shamrocks MC: Australia Book 1)Tempting Fate: a dark and angsty love triangle romance by Bella Faust
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book drew me in from the start. This story is full of drama, betrayal, angst, love, steamy moments, great characters and so much more. There are definitely trigger warnings. I had a hard time putting this down because the author kept me glued to the story with twists and turns. I found myself on the edge of my seat at times while reading because I became so engrossed in the story. You can feel the love between Zeke and Lilly but that doesn’t mean they don’t have some issues to work out. There are a few characters that I couldn’t stand which made the story that much better. This is a must read and I can’t wait until I can read the book in this trilogy. I highly recommend this book.

This is the second book but you don’t need to have read the first one to understand this one. This story was full of suspense, drama, danger, romance, twists and turns. The author wrote this story with vivid details so I was able to get more immersed in the story. I enjoyed the author’s style of writing. This book started out a little slow to me but after reading a little further into it picked up the pace. Both Gabriel and Richard go through a lot throughout this story and I found myself hoping for the best. I don’t want to give anything away so I will just say that I found this book to be entertaining and an enjoyable read. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

I enjoyed this second chance romance story. Phoebe ran and broke Laurent’s heart and now twenty years later she walks back into his life. You can feel the chemistry between these two as soon as they are in the same room. Phoebe has some issues that she needs to face because of tragedy from her past. There are other problems as well that have affected her relationships. Laurent has become a successful man in the family business but has always felt like he’s missing something. The author definitely made you feel many different emotions while reading this book. This was a quick read for me because I didn’t want to put it down. I will definitely be reading more books by this author.

This book pulled me in from the beginning. This isn’t the first book in this series but it can be read as a standalone. I will definitely be going back and reading the first book. Maria and Oz have undeniable chemistry. There are some obstacles both of these characters are working through. Maria is newly divorced and trying to navigate what she wants to do with her life and Oz is trying to balance his finances for his family and being a rock star. This book was very enjoyable and I didn’t want to put it down until I read every last page. I look forward to reading more books by this author. I highly recommend this book.

This was a very emotionally charged story. There were a lot of ups and downs in this book and I was taken on a rollercoaster of emotions. This book isn’t only about Ben’s struggle with self love and mental anguish, it is also about abuse and expectations of others. This book dives into some sensitive subjects that may trigger some people. This story flowed well and pulled me right in. There is great character growth and I had such a hard time putting this book down. This is the first book I have read by this author and I look forward to reading more.

Someone to Watch Over Me (Wounded Hearts, #3)Someone to Watch Over Me by Debbie Cromack
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is full of emotion and pulled me in right away. There is character growth along with heartwarming moments and heart wrenching moments.
This is Angelo and Lucia’s story and you won’t want to miss out on it. These two have grown up together because their parents are best friends. Angelo has always been Lucia’s protector because he loves her but also because it’s expected of him. In his mind there have been different reasons throughout their childhood and now as young adults as to why he hasn’t told her how he truly feels. Lucia is afraid that Angelo only sees her as a younger sister and is afraid to ruin their friendship if she were to ever tell him how she really feels. I must have yelled at the book a few times hoping they would figure it out so they could be together! I don’t want to give anything away, so I’m just going to say this is a must read. I can’t wait to read what this author has in store next.

I have read other books by this author so I figured it would be a good book and it exceeded all my expectations. This book can be read as a standalone but I suggest reading all the books in this series because they are great reads. I loved following the story of Hank and Ella Mae, there was so much emotion in this story. I found myself invested in these two characters’ lives and the outcome of the story. I was pulled into this story and couldn’t put it down until I found out what was going to happen between them and what was going to happen with Hank and Ella Mae’s careers. You don’t want to miss out on this wonderful story, I’m not going to give anything away so it’s my recommendation that you read it. I will be reading more books by this author.

I found this book to be unique and interesting. This author is new to me and I found the writing to be very detailed and descriptive. I was taken on an adventure in this dystopian world and the author pulled into the story and kept me reading. There is quite a bit going on in this story with many different characters and going back and forth in the timeline but don’t let that deter you because it isn’t hard to follow. There is great character growth and action, family, friends and so much more in this book. This isn’t my usual genre but I’m glad I decided to pick it up and read it because I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I have some favorite characters and when you read this you will find which ones are yours. I look forward to reading what the next book will have in store for us. I felt this was a very good read.

This is a short read but thoroughly enjoyable. The way the author wrote this story gave me all the feels. This story has trauma, love, romance, fun, and great characters. When Frank and Barbara first meet it isn’t good for either of them. When they meet again it gets better after Frank apologizes for being rude. As time goes on they both start to feel like it could be so much more. Will Frank be able to help Barbara? If you want to know what happens between these then this is a must read. For a short book it definitely felt longer and I couldn’t put it down once I started. I have read books by this author before and I’m never disappointed. I highly recommend this book.

The Silent RoadThe Silent Road by S.N. McKibben
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book is my first one by this author and I’m glad I took a chance on it. I think this story touched on some issues and it was written very well. This book brought out some emotional feelings. It was hard to like Dan very much in the beginning but as I read on we get to see changes and growth in him. Dan has hit a rough patch in his life with his divorce and trying to have a relationship with his daughter even though he’s gone a lot over the road and he gets pulled over without his license. He ends up having to ride with Jake because he needs to get his license to be able to ride by himself. Jake is a great guy in many ways. There is also a great dog in this story and she breaks up some of the seriousness in the book. I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend reading it. I look forward to reading more from this author.

This book was hard to put down once I picked it up and started reading it. We learn a lot more about Shadow in this book, her history was heartbreaking and she has been keeping the worst of it a secret. This was an emotional read from all the horrific things that have happened to Shadow and the terrible things done to the children but also the emotions that come from all the people that care about Shadow. My emotions while reading this story were definitely up and down throughout. I found myself rooting for Shadow and Panther to be what each other needed. I can’t say enough great things about this book and how well the author wrote it. I can’t wait to read what the author has in store for us next. I highly recommend this book.

This is an amazing read!! There is a prequel to this book that I suggest you read but you don’t have to in order to dive into this one. Jack and Isaac have off the charts chemistry. It’s been five years since they last saw each other and there is so much they have to say. I was ecstatic when I found out that the author was writing a second generation series. I have loved reading about the Hawkes since the beginning. Jack and Isaac have a lot of feelings and outside problems that they have to work through. This story has action, romance, danger, steamy moments and so much more. Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down until I got to the end. This is a must read you don’t want to miss out on.

I enjoyed this romantic read very much. Rae and Dean had chemistry from the beginning but their past relationships have made them very leery of romance. I liked how the author let other characters help bring the story alive and helped us get to know the main characters better. There are some steamy moments in this book that you don’t want to miss out on. I had a hard time putting this book down once I started reading because I became invested on how things were going to turn out for these two. Rae and Dean go through some ups and downs in this story and I think it made them better for it in the end. I recommend this book. I can’t wait to read what the author has in store for us next.

This is the second book in this series and can be read as a standalone but I think you would have a more enjoyable experience if you read Faultless Love first. This is a sweet opposites-attract romance. I enjoyed how well the author’s detail in writing the story drew me in so much so that I became invested in the outcome. There is definite chemistry between Walt and Elyse and the author made sure there are plenty of steamy moments. There isn’t a lot of action in this book but it is still very entertaining and captivating. I have read a few books by this author and I am never disappointed and this one was no different. The author writes in such a way that I felt I was taken on a majestic journey. The details make it so you feel as though you’re right there in the story. I enjoyed reading these short stories.

I was quite surprised to find out who was murdering the men. There is a lot going on in this story but not so much that you lose track of what’s going on. As the story progresses things change about how they feel about relationships and the opposite sex. The author did a great job pulling me into the story and keeping turning pages. This was a fun romantic sports story. Peyton and Ryan end up fake dating and unfortunately their first impression of each other is not a good one. Even though these two didn’t start off well there is no denying the chemistry between them. The more time they have to spend together they realize their first impressions aren’t who they really are. Will they end up dating for real? This was an enjoyable read with great characters.
