I love a holiday themed read. This short story is worth the read, it is sweet, heartbreaking and will get you right into the Christmas spirit. It was heartbreaking to see the emotions Kinsley was going through knowing Brysen would not be back for Christmas. I really enjoyed how Brysen’s best friend and Kinsley’s friend Dina are also in a relationship and form this little quad of friends. It is nice that Kinsley had Dina, someone who can relate to what she is going through to help her through it all. I love that this book gives a glimpse of what anyone in a military relationship could go through, even though this probably only touches the surface of what they would endure being apart. I highly recommend this sweet book!

5 stars! Wow! What an excellent read, I was immediately sucked into this book. This book has definite trigger moments and I appreciate that the author makes note of that. The fact that Gianna is strong enough to say enough is enough and gets out of the hell she is living in is so beautiful to me. I felt so disgusted at the fact that Ethan, a cop, planned to meet Gianna and to be with her no matter what. The way he treats her is unacceptable and had me wanting to get into this book somehow. I appreciate how Derek took his time with Gianna, and made sure she was comfortable in everything and with everything. This book was truly remarkable in the way the story was told, the characters are developed and the detailing is laid out. I hope this book reaches other women in similar situations and gives them the strength and courage to finally say they have had enough.
I loved this book and did not want it to end! The Christmas theme really got me into the holiday spirit. Miranda and Nick are so beautiful together. Im so happy that even after all Nick went through, he was able to find love again let alone trust a woman again. He never gives up on chasing after Miranda, which makes my heart melt. When they have their big blow out fight, I am devastated and couldn’t read fast enough to see what would happen. I could understand why Nick felt the way he did, he felt abandoned and like he was a secret. On the other hand brushing Miranda off after she tries to get in touch with him and then acting the way he did when she tries to make it right was a little childish. I was concerned that their age difference was going to be the downfall of their relationship but it was really down to Miranda’s mother. All of the drama, romance, steamy moments and watching their relationship grow is fun to watch. I can’t wait to check out more from this author.

I absolutely loved this book! The characters were easy to fall in love with and the story, had me so entranced. I did not read the other books in the series, but I didn’t feel as though I couldn’t follow along, although it would have been nice if I did so I could have had some background on Rick’s brothers Will and Jake and their dramas. From the beginning I really thought Rick and Dave were going to be it, but the way Dave broke it off with Rick was just heartbreaking, especially to see how Rick reacted to the separation. When he meets Brent I started getting excited for a new relationship for him, and it is HOT! I love Rick and Brent together and I love how protective Rick gets of Brent. When Rick’s brothers drama comes back and spills into his life with Brent it adds a little bit of excitement into the steamy romance we have going on. I wish this book could have been longer, I was hanging on every word. I hate that any homosexual male or female feel they have to hide who they are for fear of what the public will thing, I can’t wait for the day when anyone of a different sexuality will feel safe enough shout who they love without any fear or discrimination A definite must read!
I enjoyed this book. I really love how this is not a typically Christmas story, at least in America. The trolls are mean at first and try to help get the bad kids to Gryla, but then one Christmas they decide to be more on the nice side and provide the kids with presents. It is nice to see that even though these presents are very basic, the children are happy, which in turn makes the trolls feel joy. It seems they will no longer try to lure the bad children, but continue to make them happy. I really like how the trolls want nothing in return except for the satisfaction of making someone else smile, that is very good lesson to teach children.
This author is quickly becoming one of my favorites. This is a genre I wouldn’t think I would enjoy but then I get so into the story I’m begging for more. I felt real bad for Delilah, getting forced to work on her vacation and on top of that doing something she did not want to do for 3 witches she never meant to come into contact with. I was excited to see her meet the sheriff, Malakhi and to see where their relationship would head. I was not prepared for but, was ecstatic to welcome Caspian into this mix! I really enjoyed the flow of this book, the story, and the characters. I love that the author introduced LGBT+ characters into this story and I am really looking forward to see what happens next with this trio. I also wouldn’t mind see what comes of Sheridan and her crush.

5 stars! Wonderful book, with two very beautiful messages. I really love that in this story of Christ’s birth there is also the story of two girls, who are friends at first but then drift away because the wiseman’s daughter thought the shepherd’s daughter was beneath her because she was poor. This book shows that you should love everyone and even if you have friends that are less off than you, that is no reason to treat them differently than a true friend. I liked the style of the illustrations, really well done. Love this book for children, excellent lesson!

5 stars! This series is a definite must read. There is romance, drama, action, vampires, werewolves, witches and everything you could want in a book. Each book has its own set of trials for the couples to overcome and characters to fall in love with. My favorite couple is Sera and Ian from Blind Magic, I can’t get over how awesome of a woman Sera is and the love between her and Ian. I really enjoyed these books and how the story flowed, how the characters were written and the different dramas that befell each couple. I have loved every India Kells book I have read so far and look forward to see what she has in store next.

5 stars Such a perfect book to read at this time of year to enter me into the Christmas season and boost my Christmas spirits. I quickly became lost in the story, and couldn’t wait to see what would happen at each turn. Trey and Maggie’s chemistry is awesome! It is really sweet that Maggie “used” to have a crush on him, but we all know she never lost that crush. The love she has for Christmas is everything I wish I was. Their little rivalry is cute and had me smiling. Trey seems like the perfect man to me, he is retired from baseball and now runs a book store and it doesn’t hurt that of course he is good looking. The fact that he can decorate a window for Christmas doesn’t hurt either. Watching these two grow in their relationship and in general is sweet and fun to watch. I really enjoyed this series, and I’m sad it has ended. Are you sure there are no other secret brothers we can add in?

Wow! I loved everything about this book! This story had me, my emotions and my heart all over the place. At first I was thinking that this would be another rich, popular, star athlete, falls in love with the pretty, shy and slightly less fortunate girl. In a way it was, but it was also so much more. I was waiting and waiting for the bomb to drop in their relationship and when it did it was not what I was expecting at all! Tessa is a sweetheart, I don’t know how anyone could dislike her but, Jordan’s nasty mom sure does. She is basic snotty rich house wife that thinks any girl her son has needs to be elite. The relationship between Tessa and Jordan is beautiful and then towards the end I started getting nervous for Tessa, Jordan seemed too distracted to make time for her, and a certain thing that he makes her do alone, whew, my heart just shattered. I need more! I can’t wait until the next book because I have to see what happens. Highly recommend this book!

I am loving this series so far with the older generation! Grumbler never really seems like a rough guy to me, I guess his appearance is rough but every exchange he had with anyone, he seemed sweet. I love him and Mary together, and he finally found himself an old lady. It is fun to see what situation the boys will get themselves involved with, that ends up with them meeting their destined partner. This story made me so sad and disgusted with people that would steal children and make videos. I was happy to see the Utah chapter step in and help fight this ring. When Swift shows up to help, and has the honor of leading the torture, the guys find a new respect for her, and I think they finally see why she was patched in. The story was beautifully written, I loved every character and was very pleased with how Grumbler and Mary ended up. I love Manda Mellett’s MC series because the story is so much more than a hot biker hooking up with a woman, there is so much depth to each book. I can’t wait to see who comes next.

Yes! I want more! I wasn’t sure how this book was going to play out being so short, or if I would even be able to get in to it, I DID! I was so hooked by the last page I was screaming for more! I’m not sure if I have ever read a story centered around wendigos but I loved this story. Clara seems like an odd one, but I was so hoping she would make some new friends that she could form a long lasting relationship with, but she felt as if she was the odd one out yet again. I am also holding out hope that Hank isn’t a jerk, sometimes he seems like he would be and then other times I am hoping for Clara and Hank to develop something special. Her parents are only in this town to chase down the most current serial killer, an assumed wendigo. There is a nice twist at the end that will change Clara’s life forever. I really need to see what happens next so fingers crossed there is a follow up to this book!
Excellent box set. I really enjoyed these different stories and that there were many authors that contributed. I had three top favorites, One Night With A Knight by Aidy Award, 44th & Blue by Jodi Payne and Courtney by Jayce Ellis. The first book because I enjoy a curvy woman finding her true love, and the second two because I drool for MM romance.
In One Night With A Knight, I love that the story is about a plus sized woman Camila, who is a cook and she meets her love from high school again as an adult. Hudson never got over his first love and with a chance meeting with her again at a club, he will not let her go this time. The story shows Camila struggling at a one point with someone calling her big and how her man came to her defense, my heart broke for her but Hudson was there and is all for the curve!
44th & Blue, After meeting Ben, Cole wants nobody else, he can’t stop thinking about Ben. Ben feels the same way but when Ben moves to his new office and realizes Cole is the one working on the offices, he is terrified of mixing business with pleasure. At one point my heart fell thinking Ben was about to be a big jerk and leave Cole, but he bounced back with a nice apology and finally toughened up and realized he wanted Cole in his life.
Courtney, It is so cute that both men in this book have “female names”. This one touched a little on how Courtney was away from his family for a long time because his dad could not accept that he was gay, showing that his dad finally came around. It is sweet that Tracey hasn’t full come to terms with his sexuality and a push from his brother’s boyfriend and the insistence of a date from Courtney opens that door wide open for him.
5 stars! Wow is this the end? I have followed this series since the beginning, and it is not a genre I would usually pick up, but I can say I am fully invested in each story. I think the mix of romance, fantasy and ancient times really creates something that appealed to me, and Christy Nicholas is amazing at pulling these different aspects together. I really really love how in this last book we get to see the conception of the brooch, and see who was the first ever in the family to receive it. In the beginning I was kind of iffy on my feelings for Cliodhna, I felt she was just jumping from one man to the next, whoever would have her, but then saw how she really was in love with Adhna. Their relationship is bumpy, and my heart broke many times for Cliodhna when it came to her kids. I can’t give anything away but thinking that her as a mother would have to make the choices she does regarding her children is devastating. It seems she is just dealt one blow after the next once having to relocate to the fae world. Then we have the crazy Bodach who will stop at nothing to become king. There are also many small elements that really give the book that much more power in drawing you in. Overall a fantastic book, the series, each book can be read as a standalone but I would recommend reading in order.

5 stars! Loved it! I never would have thought going on a trip to Bulgaria would be a beautiful, peaceful, sexy and relaxing vacation, but I was living for it! Oh my heart! It broke for Harleigh, it breaks for any woman who has to endure any type of abuse. I do think she is a strong woman to be able to take this trip and meet someone new despite going through what she did. Giovanni, had partner issues as well, his not as extreme, but still enough to make any man want to swear off women. The love and support from both families is so beautiful and the story amazing, will suck you right in. I highly recommend for any romance lover, the issues that they have to work through themselves and as a couple is really fun to watch unravel. I really can’t wait to see what happens next!

5 stars! I love romance stories centering around sports, and this one was even better because the female lead is a tough and independent woman, trying to succeed in fields where men usually dominate. At first I didn’t know what to expect with the first few chapters, it seemed like Kennedy was going to go on to play football, but because of men dominating the scene she was cast aside. So she does something else she is passionate about which is sports journalism. When the two meet and end up together, I love it, I love everything about their relationship and how Hunter loves Kennedy that much more because of the fact that she is not your average girl. I had a feeling something was about to go down since Kennedy is writing for the paper and here comes the sleazy Jonathan. I liked how he tried to turn it all back around on Kennedy in front of others, made me hate him so much more. I highly recommend this book, it has drama, romance and sports. Perfect read for me.

Sweet and steamy. A really nice short read. I really like Emily, she is prim and proper when she needs to be, and comes out that way to everyone but really she is reckless and adventurous and had me nervous a couple of times afraid she was going to get Grant in trouble since he is always in the spotlight. Grant is a good guy, at first he was obnoxious, going out drinking all the time and getting caught up in multiple scandals, but I love that once he meets Emily he wants to change his ways and become a one woman man as well as a better person. Their relationship is sweet, and Emily’s dad sounds like a real jerk for what he did to them behind their backs, but it all worked out either way. I loved the epilogue and can’t wait to look into more books by this author.

5 Stars! An amazing set of books. From he first book I was hooked on the story and the concept of an adult theme park. Each book of this series I picked up pulled me in right away and left me begging for more. I love that you would think the story should be over and what left is there, but then here comes another book, with a new set of characters with a new bunch of drama and romance and a whole lot more fun at the park. The box set includes Sugar & Spice, Virtue & Vice, Fire & Ice and Naughty & Nice. The names of the books alone captured me, each book will always have the two people that started it all, Cyrus and Jolie, it is nice to see their story still unfold through each book. I highly recommend this series, it is steamy, has drama, fun, I think I’m the point where Phoebe Alexander should just go ahead and start the first adult theme park and make this a reality!

5 stars! This is the 3rd book in the series, it can be read as a standalone, but take it from me, I read this book first and missed out on a lot of detail and the formation of relationships. I got the gist of it, but I wish I would have read the others first, I will now have to go back and read them since the series is definitely worth it. I love reading romance within the Italian mob style books and this one was awesome. I loved all the drama, action, romance and crazy that this story had to offer. Serena and Giovanni are a great couple, I really enjoyed seeing them interact together. Serena is independent and strong willed and Gio has never had that in a woman, especially in his line of work. Serena will do anything to keep her family and Gio safe, so she assumes the best option is to leave them all to lure the kidnappers to come after her. I love that Gio will stop at nothing to keep her safe and protects her from everything, and how his family also loves her so much as to protect her like one of their own. I thought Serena would annoy me and be more like a needy damsel in distress type, but she is the opposite and her ramblings are just funny to read. I really can’t wait to see what comes next, it looks like there may be a little something going on with Salvatore and a certain nurse? I can only hope!

Such a wonderful book! The story really pulled me in, I could not put this book down. The characters were all really well written. The chemistry between the 2 main characters, Anthony and Jess was off the charts. I love how Jess was into Anthony no matter what he looked like. I can understand why Anthony wouldn’t want to commit to Jess in the form of marriage and children due to his childhood and his father, BUT I also was so mad that he couldn’t see he wasn’t like his dad, and he would be perfect for her. When he decided to date the annoying Alicia, my heart broke for Jess, and then there was that one night that almost ruined everything for them. I was very pleased with the ending, but could have really done with an epilogue! I want to see how Jess and Ant ended up, but I am holding out hope I will see them in the next book. This is book 2 in the series, but it can be read as a standalone.

Such a fun read. I really enjoyed this story and the period that was portrayed. The characters were all really nicely written and the storyline flowed nicely, I was never bored and couldn’t stop reading. I always feel sad for characters that have arranged marriages, some cases it works out nicely, but in Bridget’s case it did not. I was devastated for her when her ship was seized by pirates and they killed off the entire crew except her, and then she gets rescued by the wonderful Valan. You can tell throughout the story that there is real chemistry between Valan and Bridget. Bridget is so sweet to fall in love with Valan only to leave him to fulfill her promise to her clan to marry the laird Rodrick. I liked the the evil that was placed in this story in the form of the greedy Rodrick. Fighting through some trials together, find out if Bridget and Valan can truly be together. The ending was sweet, steamy, and surprising. This is my first book by this author and after reading this one, I can’t wait to see what else Mrs. Siddoway has to offer.

Just One Song by Lynn Stevens is such a sweet romance. The dramatics, the story line and the characters were all perfect. Cami, is such a sweet girl, I don’t think there was one time throughout this story that I didn’t like her. Her relationship with her family is wonderful to read, and the way she loves her dad and is willing to give up her dreams and life to help her mom is so beautiful and sad. The relationship Cami had with her friends Miranda and Iris was just terrible. At first I was really loving the two best friends and then one misunderstanding and she loses the two people she needs the most when going through issues with her dad’s health and her rough ride singing backup for Hank. Her best friends were no good for her in my opinion, she deserves better. I really thought from reading the blurb that Dylan was going to be a super jerk but I liked his character a lot, and I really liked how he came to be in love with Cami. Their story is sweet even when she is treated like crap from Dylan’s father. The ending is one that you would see on a classic hallmark movie and left me satisfied. I definitely recommend this book.

This story of John the Baptist was interesting to read. I am pretty sure he did not have a love interest. I am in no way so well versed in the scripture that I know for a fact but, from what I have read I see no indication. I don’t feel like it was accurate to the teachings of the Bible but there were a lot of things I did see that I thought were true to the John the Baptist from the Bible. He did indeed spread the teachings of Jesus, baptized many people and was beheaded for a ridiculous reason. I found these things to be true to him and looking past some of the other things said about him in this book, that I find to be fiction I did enjoy reading it as a story and of course love the fact that he was teaching equality between genders.

5 stars! Build-A-Book Workshop by Danielle Ackley-McPhail is an interesting read. This book is a nice guide to show the steps needed to take to make sure your book has a nice finished look and that the content and layout comes across as well made and thought out. There is a lot of book terminology thrown at you and honestly, I liked to understand what some of the words or abbreviations I have seen, what they really mean and stand for, even if I am not interested in creating or publishing my own book. The layout of the book goes from the cover, with choosing a nice eye catching image to the back of the book where an author’s biography might go. It was easy to read and follow and the tips that the author gives, using her own personal experiences was great, especially when she lays out a list of questions, Did you remember this? Did you forget that?. If I were to look into publishing my own book, it is a nice list to have to makes sure I didn’t forget anything or to make sure my book is ready to publish. The book is a quick read but packed with a lot of information to anyone starting out in their publishing journey.

5 stars! I love India Kells! This is the fourth book in the series and it could be read as a standalone but I would highly recommend reading the previous three, it is nice to be introduced to the brothers starting with the first book. I love how all of the brothers are half brothers and have formed bond so tight because of their one common goal, to take their father down. Liam and Catriona’s story had me hooked as much as the previous stories. The characters were nicely developed and the story was easy to follow and get lost in. I can totally understand Catriona’s choice to become a nun, but I can also see the strong attraction and pull she has to Liam, so of course I was rooting for her to ditch the sisterhood and get her man. Liam, I was happy to hear that he at least had some love growing up with his uncle, but being thrust into the world of his father, Jamison Finch, he knew nothing but violence and defiantly no love. Meeting Catriona I see him finding love in his life again, and he deserves it. This story has a lot of action, romance, drama, and suspense, it is the perfect combination. I really can’t wait to see what happens with the next brother Sam since that epilogue had me on the hook!

5 Stars! Well Manda Mellett is killing it again! I am not 100% into this chapter yet, but it is only the first book of the series and I always seem to fall in love with all of Manda Mellett’s books in the end. I really enjoy seeing all the characters from the previous books mentioned, it shows how they are all connected. My heart hurt for Road, the fact that he couldn’t do what he loved the most really affected him and turned his life around, for the worst it seems. He felt lost, and of course his chapter president notices and sends him on a mission to get himself out of his own head. Introducing the first female in the brotherhood, Swift. She is seriously a badass especially with the complications she has, she doesn’t let that slow her down and rises through the ranks in the end. Road and Swift’s relationship is wonderful to watch unfold. I am SUPER happy that there was a female incorporated into the Satan’s Devils, it gave the story so much more depth. There is so much drama and action in this book, with Road trying to figure out what the Utah chapter is hiding, trying to stay alive and keeping Swift safe. I always think to myself, how much longer can these books go on? This author is truly and supremely talented in coming up with so many different stories and scenarios for these bikers. I am always blown away by the end.

Fun! I thought this book was a lot of fun to read. There were a lot of characters to keep track of, and if you are like me and didn’t read the first book then you may get slightly confused. I still pushed through and was happy I did. I would highly recommend you read the first book so you can get some background on all of the characters you will be reading about, which will help you figure out what is happening in this book and what relationships they have with each other. I did read House Valdis Origins so I was at least able to get a glimpse at Xen and Urd. I like how each chapter told whose point of view I was going to be reading, that helped with figuring out what was going on. From where Xen started to where she is now, it seems like she really made something of herself and has been surrounded by people that truly care about her. The relationship between her and Matthew and Onyx is crazy, but in my mind I’m hoping she can sever the ties that hold them together and can be with Chiamaka, I feel like there is something there for them. The twist with the white queen had my mind blown! I loved how the story flowed and all the drama involved around House Valdis. This is not my usual genre but this book really intrigued me with the story and how nicely the characters were developed. I can’t wait to see what comes next.

The second book in the Rhodes Family series is my favorite of the two so far. I love a good menage, and this story was sweet, sexy and dramatic. I really felt for Ava when Hunter up and left her and Thomas so many years ago, and my heart ached for Hunter when learning how he was treated by his dad and how his head got all messed up because of him. It was really sweet the way Hunter tried his best to get back into Thomas and Ava’s good graces with the many letters he sent them over the years. I did get slightly annoyed with Ava, when her and Thomas and Hunter had a “little” misunderstanding she completely blows off Thomas like him alone isn’t good enough and that made her just look terrible to me. I understand she was crushed, thinking that Hunter was hurting her all over again like he did before, but there were circumstances that prevented him from reaching out and a whole lot of nice dramatics in between then and when they finally are together again. There was a lot of heartbreak in this book, but also so much love between the three main characters and so much that just needed to be aired out and spoken out loud. Communication is key. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it. I can’t wait to see what is in store next.

What a sweet story! This book made me feel so much and I was so heartbroken for Olivia. The way she was treated with her last relationship was just terrible. I had a feeling she would meet a guy that would change her outlook love and then screw her over and that is exactly what happened. Although the book was predictable at times I was still thrown for a loop when all the drama started going down with what happens to Gabe. Overall a sweet and sexy romance and a playboy who turns his life around. It was nice to see Gabe’s whole family rallying around Olivia and falling in love with her as much as Gave was. I love a good epilogue and this one did not disappoint me. I am truly looking forward to reading the story of Ava and her men!!

Yes, this short story was awesome! This book is a sort of opening for the book The Rise of the House Valdis. We get a little insight into Xenobia and Urd and how they meet and become friends. My heart breaks for both girls as they have a sweet friendship and Xenobia is always looking after and trying to protect Urd, and what befalls them makes me sad. I enjoyed this story. I have not yet had the pleasure of reading the rest of the series yet, but, because of reading this story, the girls, how they met, the life they have to life and the word they come from, I am definitely going to go read the rest of the series. Although it is not my typical genre, the way the the author writes has pulled me in and now I have to find out what happens next!
