Euphoric Wonderland: An Eclectic Collection of Psychedelic Poetry to Stimulate the Senses and Open the MindEuphoric Wonderland: An Eclectic Collection of Psychedelic Poetry to Stimulate the Senses and Open the Mind by Ryan M. Becker
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book wasn’t what I was expecting—as I thought thought it was going to be a collection of references from the 60’s & 70’s—as I love music from that era, however it was instead a collection of poetry; touching over many of today’s hot button topics. I don’t usually enjoy poetry, however this wasn’t too bad. The beautiful art work included with the poetry was captivating and I did thoroughly enjoy the illustrations. If poetry is your thing, I do highly recommend.

Something About Aimee (Girls from the Street Book 1)Something About Aimee by S.E. Smith
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Fabulous book….riveting story draws the audience in at every turn. My only disappointment, was that the backstory wasn’t as developed as I would have liked. Kinda just throws Aimee in there, leaving the reader with questions. Quick, easy read. Enjoyed the strong female lead and the way that she carried herself throughout the book!
Out of author SE Smith’s normal wheel house of Sci-Fi, however she did phenomenal with this sizzling romance/mystery as well!
Aimee Wheels is a homeless courier who works so hard at everything she does. Despite being homeless, Aimee is extremely educated and fluently speaks multiple languages. When Aimee helps to stop a plan to kill Quadir, an extremely wealthy & powerful sheik, Quadir is completely smitten with Aimee and vows to make her his wife, but Aimee isn’t having it. Fiercely independent & certainly not able to be bought, Aimee makes it clear that she is her own person. After some twists and turns, the find themselves falling for each other. Can their two very different worlds collide and allow them obtain the fairytale, happily ever after they both desperately want?

Excellent read. Relatable characters. Can not wait for book 2 in the series!

One of the best books that I’ve read all year!! I wasn’t sure how I would like the historical romance book, as this was my first read from that genre, however I absolutely LOVED it. It was SO MUCH more than just historical romance! There is mystery and suspense, the deepest family secrets, loyalty and love. The characters from both eras were enjoyable and the storyline flowed seamlessly. I seriously couldn’t get enough! Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a good story.
When Garrison Stark (modern day) loses his parents in a tragic accident, Garrison’s grandma is suffering from dementia and has been saying some pretty crazy things. As Garrison investigates, he begins to unravel some pretty interesting family secrets.

One night, in 1932 Joel Fitchett wonders into a diner, bloody & bruised, carrying his unconscious younger brother, Clancy. The boys tell everyone they don’t recall what happened, however they have vowed to never speak the truth of that night. WWII, two brothers in love with the same girl & a young man seeking the truth about his grandfather, leaves author Shanessa Gluhm, doing a phenomenal job keeping the audience entranced between two timelines. Best book I’ve read this year. I could not put it down and read it in one sitting. Can not recommend enough!

I was pleasantly surprised at the depth of this book & how much I enjoyed it. This book had it all—sweet romance, compelling mystery, & insight to the hard choices we make when family is involved! Great read! Highly recommend. 5 stars!

Corrie Lancaster leaves the life she had built for herself and returns to the family farm after a tragic accident leaves her dad with a brain injury and unable to man the farm. It’s harvest time when Corrie returns, however she is short staffed—that is until the Tuttle brothers step up & offer to help run the farm. Luke Tuttle, was “the one” in Corrie’s mind, until he left her broken-hearted. Corrie is still angry & hurt and the way Luke ended the relationship and is having a hard time putting the past behind her. Luke’s older brother Aaron, is a rock and seems to be there every step of the way for Corrie, regardless of the circumstances. Cute, fun read that teaches children science concepts without making it appear to be learning. My 10yr old enjoyed the story and was excited to test out his own water magnifying glass, while my 18 month grandbaby was equally engaged with the beautiful illustrations presented throughout the book! In this third installment of Trezzie and her friends, the group uncovers some fossils, which Wickstrom brings to life for the children with her informative discussion and phenomenal illustrations. Highly recommend for all kiddos. My boys are excited to read the first two books in the series (although each is perfect as a stand alone story).

I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this book SO much!! The characters were so enjoyable and relatable—the reader can’t help but fall in love with them, as they were slowly falling in love with each other! TOTAL relationship goals. Magnificent feel good read. Can’t recommend it enough!

Handsome & intriguing, up & coming Italian actor, Niccolo Mancini has quite the reputation as a playboy. Indie romance writer, Destiny Cardone has sworn off men and the notion of ever finding her soul mate. When their paths cross on Destiny’s 30th birthday, the attraction is instant & sparks sizzle all around them!
