The Colors of Friendship Book 1 by K.R. Raye

Great read—especially for young adults! Ms. Raye did a magnificent job captivating the audience and making them feel that they were also in the circle of friendship! Excited for book 2 in the series—very enjoyable and I love how she portrayed how you never really know what is going on behind closed doors in relationships. A beautifully written story that continually draws the reader in!
This story follows the lives of three best friends as they navigate family, relationships, the ups & down of friendship, and falling in love….& the struggles they face because of their differences. The author does a marvelous job outlining abuse and how it not only affects the person being abused, but also affects those who love the victim of abuse. The twist at the end is something you don’t see coming! Fabulous read! Looking forward to the remainder of the books in this trilogy.
