Married Blind: A Marriage of Convenience Hollywood Romance (Kings of Screen, 2)Married Blind: A Marriage of Convenience Hollywood Romance by Morgana Bevan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book that I have read by this author, and I was blown away at how quickly I read this book! I cannot wait to read the first book in this series, which thankfully these are ones that if you read them out of order, will not mess up what happens or the timeline in the series. In this book, these two people, Abi and Finn, are married at first sight on a reality tv show. The sparks between these two were palpable off of the page let alone between them. I could not read this book fast enough as they had a wonderful story that had conflict and that ultimately ended on a great note. I loved this romance book and cannot wait to read more of the books by this author and read the others in the series!

I enjoyed this one! This is my first book by this author and i enjoyed their writing style. Friends to lovers is the trope for this one and I am a sucker those stories. The main characters were fantastic and I was rooting for their HEA from the start. This story kept me interested from page one and based on this book I will have to pick up other books by them in the future! It was a great read!
Happy Reading!

The Daredevil: A Friends to Lovers Romance (WaterFyre Rising Book 2)

I found myself waking up in the middle of the night and spent about an hour reading so I could see what was happening. Definitely regretted that this morning. There is a little bit of everything. Mystery/suspense, friendship blooming and of course the mean girl.

Royce and Michelle are great individually and even better together, their dynamic is so electric which led to some pretty hot moments like the pool and waterfall. Wow!

There were so many little details that helped bring the story together for me. I was so happy with the healing and growth they both experienced on their journeys towards happiness.

I read the first book in this series and remember being impressed by the writing and how polished it was especially for her first release. I’m even more impressed now, there was no let down between the two books and as much as I enjoyed the last I think I liked Royce and Michelle more.

I’m so looking forward to the next books release. Can’t wait to see more from this author.

5 Stars!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is a new author to me and I can say….I LOVED this book!! This story was such a fun read and I devoured it in one sitting. I could not get enough of Abi and Finn.

Trying to save face, Finn agrees to participate in a TV Reality show and marry a complete stranger. Finn is such a ladies man and player for sure, but trying to help his own image he decides with hesitation to “marry” Abi. All Finn needs is 3 months…..

Abi is a hard worker with multi jobs trying to help her sister Eva and has no time for any dating or meeting new people. When Eva and Abi’s best friend, Ros, plan up to have Abi apply to be part of this new reality show, Abi is hesitant…but then decides what does she have to lose. Will she meet her Mr. Right….

Can I say I love Abi and Finn together, their attraction is sizzling, even at first Finn being hot and cold…trying to keep Abi at an arms length and not get to close…I was rooting for them from page 1. Such a great contemporary romance that gave me all the feels of romance, banter and sizzle… and I am totally looking forward to reading more from this author for sure!!

Dear lord where do I start with this book? This was such an amazing book! It starts off as a simple way for a loving sister to help out with her family and for a Hollywood actors’ way to salvage his career from a mishap, when they’re thrown together in a marriage for reality TV, they’re both skeptical, you’d think that because Abi has never seen Finn in a movie so she’s not much of a crazed fan; He’d be happy and more receptive to the idea. But no, he is an enigma to her because she can’t get a read on him, one minute he’s a doting and loving husband and the next it’s like he’s repulsed by her, and she doesn’t understand what she did to him. For him she’s perfect… too perfect and is waiting for the bomb to drop and she uses him just like all of his ex’s but her real motives for agreeing to this crazy idea is much more important to her and when the walls start coming down, he doesn’t want to let her go. But she’s faced with a choice that she can’t see a good outcome regardless of what she chooses. Can they find a middle ground and compromise on the things that matter? Or will it all be for show?

What a fun read!!! This very talented author created a great storyline with such lovable characters that you just wanted to keep reading from the very first word. I am not much of a reality tv watcher myself but I loved reading this authors take on this type of show. She created such vividly described surroundings and events that you really left like you could see everyone and everything as it was happening. I loved the characters Finn and Abi right from the very start even if Finn was at times giving me as much whiplash as he was giving Abi! More than a few times I wanted to yell at them to just damn well talk to each other LOL. They totally captivated my heart! Even the side line characters had me wanting to know more about them. I am looking forward to more not only from this series but from this wonderful author in general.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Married Blind is a forced proximity contemporary romance tale. It is the second book in the Kings of Screen series but can be read as a standalone. I encourage you to start with the first book even though each book is about different characters who are sexy, steamy and spicy and let’s not forget British movie stars.
I enjoyed the push pull and sassiness between these characters Finn and Abi. Their story is told in dual POV which gives them so much more depth and understanding of them as people. It is my preferred method of storytelling.
The story is done in a reality show setting where sometimes it was hard to remember what reality is and what is not. Where there is a marriage of convenience a reality-TV husband and wife. Should be easy right? Wrong!
This story is a light hearted romance tale that is a quick read. If you want to know what happens then you will have to grab a copy to find out for yourself.
I look forward to reading more in the series.

A new author for me and she didn’t disappoint. Nadia Han paid close attention to details with this one. If you want a romance book this one is for you. I read right through this one (even though I read the first book). To get a better feel of the characters I would read them in order. I enjoyed the story line of Royce and Michelle. Though the flashbacks kind of slowed the story down. I can’t wait to read the next book by this author.

I enjoyed reading this romance book. This is my first book by this author which I enjoyed and look forward to reading more in the future. This is a well written book about two people who get married on their first day. This is a marriage of convenience or is it? I enjoyed their connection to each other and to me. They have great chemistry and growth throughout the story. I found this book to be fast paced and hard to put down. An engaging story where the author used details to bring life to the story. This is a cute story that you don’t want to miss. I highly recommend this book.

Michelle is a travel blogger who writes from her heart. When she is approached by a beauty company based in Iceland to help promote their natural based beauty products to consumers, she decides to jump on the chance to return to the country that spoke to her soul years prior. Before she can get settled into her surroundings, fate seems to step in and make her life difficult by bringing in accidents and old nemeses, However, it also provides her with someone to help her. And that someone happens to be Royce. She kind of knows him through mutual friends but quickly discovers that she really wants to KNOW him and what makes him tick. Can she separate business from pleasure? Or will she be lost to his overwhelming Viking charisma?

Royce has seen Michelle and interacted with her on the peripheral for years. She is the best friend of his best friend’s sister. He’s always been intrigued by her, but their lives never seemed to line up to really get to know each other. The fates align when she takes a job in Iceland, his home country, and needs help on day one. As he spends more time with her, he finds that he is fascinated by her and wants to know her on every level. As someone who doesn’t believe in love, he finds himself questioning his own line of thinking. Can Michelle change his mind on love? When her livelihood and life are threatened, can he keep her safe and not get entangled?

The second book in this series was not a disappointment. Both Michelle and Royce have their own demons that they are fighting daily. When they open up to each other, they finally find healing. I enjoyed how they knew each other and when they looked back over their lives, there were instances that drew them together without them really knowing it or seeing it until they thought about it. If fates truly aligned, this is a perfect example of it.

The continuation of the overarching mystery gathers more depth and encompasses so much more than just the crime that the guys witnessed. It seems to be growing larger than just their city, too. It will be interesting to see where the author goes with it! Looking forward to the next book!

This was a great book, and quick read. Once I got started, I didn’t want to stop reading it until I finished it.

In this non-traditional romance, the marriage comes before the love story. When Abi decides to sign up for a reality show in which she marries an unknown celebrity for the 3 months for a large pay off….money she intends to use to help her sister pay off medical debt…she never expects to find true love. For Finn, Abi’s married at first sight husband, the show offers an opportunity to rehab his reputation and try to save his career, after rumors cause him to be too much of a risk for studios. What neither Finn nor Abi expect is to find love and a real marriage.

Audri has known Remington for years. He is her brother’s best friend. So, he should be off limits… but she has harbored a HUGE crush on him for as long as she can remember. When he buys the company she is currently working for, could it be fate stepping in to push them together?

Remington has always been drawn to Audri from the moment he met her. However, he won’t cross the line to pursue anything because it goes against the bro code. But when her life is threatened and it seems like someone is gunning for her, he can’t help his overwhelming desire to protect what he considers his. Can he hold the line and just protect? Or will he lose his heart to someone who can help make him whole?

This is my first time reading this author and I genuinely enjoyed it! There’s an overarching mystery that is playing out over this series, a crime the 5 male friends witnessed in their teens. They think they can ignore it and it won’t bother them and theirs, but they are mistaken as it starts to pull in the loves of their lives. The set up for this mystery was done well, in my opinion. I liked how things are mentioned in passing and then become bigger later on in the book. There were some twists that I didn’t see coming and it kept me reading.

Looking forward to the rest of the books in this series!

I found this book so entertaining. Reality TV marriage. Three months for Finn and Abi may have felt like a lot but with the sass and their friends, this sure sounded like a made for tv drama fest. Finn screwed up big time and was told he had to do this. I loved him because he kept trying to weasel out and the producer called him on it. Abi was just trying to help her life and her sisters. Could they get through this fiasco? Would they end making this phony marriage work? This is a fun and humorous read. It’s got some serious moments, a dash of steam here and there and some characters that will embed themselves in your head. The story line is fantastic. A definite must read romance. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. This Is one crowd that you won’t be able to forget.

Wow that is not at all what I was expecting but man what a ride. This author knocked it out of the park with this Contemporary Romance. It may be a short story but it’s packed with emotions, drama, heartbreak and so much more. I’ve become a fan of this author and her Paranormal stories and I love how her stories flow and always makes you feel as if you are right there with them. This is a story about Augustine and Dorian. These two meet because of an accident in which Dorian feels guilty that it happened. What they didn’t know was they would be torn apart and broken hearted. Three years later their wives introduce their husbands to one another but they already know each other. What does fate have in store for these two? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

To rehab my image — one I’ve cultivated for years, thank you very much — my agent has given me the hardest role I’ll ever have to play. A 24-hour loving husband, on reality TV.
It’s just 3 months. I can handle that. That’s all it will take for my latest sexcapade to be forgiven and forgotten, and instead of finding myself on the D-List, I might salvage my career.
I just have to stay strong and not fall for the perfect woman they’ve chosen for me.
That’s the problem with reality TV. It’s so hard to know when it’s TV and when it’s real.Married Blind is a standalone marriage-of-convenience Hollywood romance set in the Kings of Screen world and within a reality TV show.

Falling Home (Buckeye Falls Book 1) by Libby Kay – Review by Jamie Burns

Falling Home is the second book in the Buckeye Falls series by Libby Kay. This is such a cute book about Max and Ginny who are no longer married, but Max is still in love with Ginny. Ginny doesn’t want anything to do with Max but needs to come home to Buckeye Falls to help her father as he recovers from hip surgery. Max has thrown himself into his diner, which is the main reason that he and Ginny are no longer together. Will Max be able to show Ginny that he still loves her and wants a relationship with her? Find out by picking up our own copy of Falling Home: A Buckeye Falls Novel! This is the perfect book to help you get into the holiday spirit!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Ginny is returning home from New York to take care of her father after he has surgery. She’s not looking to do anything outside of taking care of him during the Christmas holiday. This includes no time for her ex-husband, Max. That gets a little hard when he becomes her planning partner for the Christmas Jubilee.

Max has spent the last two years missing the woman who got away and broke his heart. He’s done everything he can to put his heart into the diner that may have played a part in their split in order to forget her, but when Ginny comes back home, it’s hard to put all the focus where it belongs. Now he’ll use any excuse he can to spend time with her.

Max can tell she’s starting to warm up to the idea of staying in town. He’s only got to convince her that he’s worth another shot.

Falling Home was a sweet story about love lost and finding love again. I don’t normally go for second chance romance when it involves marriage ending, but I thought I’d take a shot and I’m glad I did.

Ginny is stubborn, determined, and loves her father with every bit of herself. She’s willing to sacrifice so much in order to do what is best for her family. Max is also stubborn and determined to find a way to get back the woman he loves. The only mistake they both made was not communicating when it felt like things were falling apart.

This is a sweet romance that makes a great holiday read. But with a main character whose constantly cooking, you’re bound to get hungry.

This book was absolutely amazing. I love the author’s way of bringing you into the story right away and the way she brings out the emotions for the characters. I cried, I laughed, I was stressed, and felt overwhelming joy.

This is the second book in the Waterfyre series and I could not put it down.

Have you ever looked into someone’s eyes and they were haunted with trauma but on the outside they seemed happy? This story will take you on a wild ride with Michelle and Royce.

Both have had things in their past that make trusting others or themselves extremely difficult.

Michelle is Audra’s friend and has met Royce within the group. A trip to Iceland brings the two together and they get to spend time as friends as sparks start to fly.

I could not believe the ending. It will blow your mind. Perception of a child is not what it seems as an adult. THIS IS A MUST READ.

Great MM/polyamory read. A hired gun? That’s was a fun aspect, I was looking forward to seeing where that was going to lead. The way in which Augustine and Dorian meet is insane but I love the fact that Dorian was set on doing what he could for Augustine after the huge mistake he makes. I love, love. And watching Dorian and Augstine figure out their relationship with each other let alone their wives, was messy and beautiful. The ending had me smiling, and the romance isn’t raunchy just sweet. Both of their wives, Magnolia and Aubrielle get along so well that it just all works for them as a family. Loved it!

Love Tools (Bluestone Series #1) by Isobel Reed

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Love Tools is an amazing first read. The author has a way with the words written. I finished this within an hour so that should say something. This is the first book in the Bluestone Series.

Jake goes in to check on the store his friend owned when he was alive. He runs into someone new to him. He’s shocked to learn that his friend was a dad and his daughter is hot. The quote I chose for Jake is: “Um, he was a good guy. Quiet. Liked to keep himself to himself, but he had a good heart.”

Lily moved to where her dad lived to find out who he was. She didn’t expect to run into someone on her first day in town. Montana does their guys right. She doesn’t know how to react to him. The quote I chose for Lily is: “You have a dad, Ali, a real dad. I have a stepdad and a dead biological father who left and never said why. If you were me, wouldn’t you want answers?”

Highly recommended for Contemporary Romance lovers.

Love Tools (Bluestone Series, #1)Love Tools by Isobel Reed
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This novel follows the story of Lily, on her quest for the truth of her past and new beginnings. After she learns of her father’s passing, she learns that she has inherited his tool store in Bluestone County, Montana. Even though she has no clue about selling tools or business, a new beginning from her London upbringing sounds quite appealing. She ends up connecting with Jake and his sister, Sam, who own a nearby Dude Ranch. Sam invites her to their ranch to learn firsthand tools to help her with her new business endeavor while Jake starts developing an attraction towards Lily. After Lily’s many failed relationships, she seems a bit hesitant on Jake’s advances and shies away from any of his attempts.
Reed has such an immediate way of writing to enthrall her readers into this great story. It is such an enjoyable and quick read that readers can fall in love with the characters and story line presented. When it comes to romance, attraction comes into play when there is something eager to be known about those you are attracted to.
