I loved reading this book. There are twists and turns, romance, suspense, danger, great characters and more. This author wrote with great detail, I felt like I was with the characters on the adventure. I was pulled into the story and Royce and Michelle’s lives. I found myself wanting them to find love and happiness. This was an enjoyable friends to lovers romance and I can’t wait to read another book by this author.

When Lily’s dad died and left her his hardware store in Bluestone County it could have come at a better time. Lily didn’t have any regrets about leaving London for Bluestone. However, Lily had no clue how to run a hardware store she needed to make it herself. She needed to find herself and find the answers as to why her dad had left. The last thing Lily needed was to fall in love with a local cowboy, let alone her new best friend’s brother. Jake was the local ranch owner. Hot, steamy, and a bad idea. Jake had a bad reputation with the ladies and her best friend’s brother. But Jake might actually have the answers to some of her questions about her dad. Jake’s past will come back to haunt him causing Lily to run. This was a great read. I truly enjoyed this read. The big city girl falls for the country cowboy, what better storyline! I can’t wait to read the next book in this set!

Miserably unhappy, Lilly, a young lady from London, moves to the states to takeover a tool shop that was left to her after a father she barely knew passed away. Jake, a playboy cowboy who runs a ranch with his sister doesn’t quite know if he’s experiencing love for the first time or if what he is feeling is something else. Love Tools was a quick, sweet, fun romance that I was delighted to read. I read it in about two days only stopping because of adult responsibilities and I didn’t have a choice. I definitely didn’t want to put it down. It looks like this might be a series and I would be interested in reading more by this author.

Love Tools is a romance story about a lost girl, Lily, from London who tries to rediscover herself in Bluestone County, USA. Lily’s estranged father left her his hardware store to run. Lily wasn’t happy in London lately so the change came at a good time. As she is trying to adjust to her new life in a small town, she runs into a gorgeous, cocky cowboy named Jake. There is an instant banter that stirs, but there is no denying the attraction they have for each other. They are forced to become closer when she befriends his sister. However, Jake has a reputation of a playboy who can’t commit so is warned to stay away. Due to her never running a business, she runs into a little bit of trouble and Jale offers to help. This is the start of a brewing romance. However, can the two of them figure out their own baggage to appreciate the connection they have found?
I enjoyed this romance novel. Both characters were very loveable. They had great banter and chemistry. She was portrayed as a strong independent woman trying to find her way, while Jake was the cowboy gentleman with an edge. The build of the romance seemed natural, not rushed, and really developed on the page. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

I liked this story. I thought Jake and Lily were good together. I liked Lily’s sailor mouth and found her refreshing. She was headstrong and identifiable. I would read more by this author.

Can he get the Christmas miracle he needs to convince her to take a chance on them again?
This is a story of how love is not always enough. There needs to be communication and a balance between work and home. These were together for over a decade…and it took one rough year to tear them apart. When they are given their second chance, will they take it? Or do they truly believe their time has passed? I enjoyed this story and the supporting characters (Ginny’s dad made me laugh!).

Christmas is a busy time, and this book was a quick read which was a perfect escape for me. I love second-chance love stories, I guess because my husband and I have one. I really enjoyed this romance story. The author does an amazing job with the characters and I really enjoyed how at the start Lily and Jake seemed to hate each other but the teasing and barbs they threw at each other was all building up to an attraction that neither of them could deny.
Lily changed her whole life,leaving her family behind to take over a tool shop her father left her when he passed. She has nothing to lose, she hates her job and her dating life is non existent as she always attracts the wrong guys. What she doesn’t expect is to meet a guy and not just any guy. Jake is a guy with so many red flags she should run in the opposite direction screaming.
Jake has never had a serious relationship. He’s known as a bit of a ladies man and he’s happy with that. Until he meets Lily. He’s never felt about a woman the way he does about Lily but how can he prove to her that he is the man for her and not the womaniser she thinks him to be.
This is a slow burn romance where the attraction is there but both Lily and Jake need to work through their past relationships and pains to be able to full let the other person in. Their connection is fun to read as they constantly push and pull each other.

Wonderful, Sweet, small town second chance holiday romance that I totally loved every page.
When Ginny takes time off during the holiday’s to head home from New York to Buckeye Falls to help her father during his hip surgery the one thing she does not want is to run into her ex-husband, Max. Both Max and Ginny are career driven..and when both Max and Ginny are successful their marriage ended up falling apart. Max never stopped loving Ginny, even though she had big career dreams in New York. I loved this story so much. It gave me all the feels of love, joy, second chances and support with everyone of the characters that love Max and Ginny. I am overjoyed to know there is a 2nd book coming and I cannot wait!!!

This story interested me since its a divorced couple and their second chance. It is a very slow moving story told during the holiday time. I struggled with all the internal thoughts they had and a bit with the timeline. I did enjoy the relationships between couples, friends and family. There is a lot of thought provoking comments about relationships that really made me think twice about them. The father /daughter relationship is very well done. They joked and had serious conversations.
Overall there is a lot of good stuff in here between relationships in a variety of forms and the advice given. its an ok holiday story.

Love Tools is an emotional roller coaster of romance, heartbreak, and drama in a rural romance. I loved both Jake and Lily. This story is an easy read with great characters.

I really enjoyed this book, the story line, the characters, the setting, it was a great read! The setting of the town is cute with the main street, a diner without a name that Max owns, and all of the characters in a small town who know each other and everyone’s business. The characters are lovable and really easy to connect to. Max moved to town in high school and was made fun of for his stutter. Ginny calmed him and became his study partner and then girlfriend. Ginny’s mom left in high school so she grew up with just her dad, Harold. Max and Ginny were high school sweethearts, married, and then when Ginny was offered a job in New York she leaves Buckeye Falls and doesn’t look back. Ginny has been gone two years but Max and Harold still have dinner once a week and Harold goes to the diner often. Ginny is back in town because her dad has to have a hip surgery. She is unsure of seeing Max and when she does she starts to have all the feelings. Ginny still has feelings for Max but isn’t sure how he feels or if she should do anything about it because she will be moving back to New York after Harold recovers. Max is happy Ginny is home and still loves her. The story alternates between the character perspective so you get to know them even more as you read. This was a wonderful holiday romance!

I am not always big fan of romances but when I do indulge, I love a small town story. This book checked off all the boxes with it’s witty banter and fast paced storyline. I really like the friendly foundation that the two main characters laid down. There was more to this story than cute, romantic tropes including an element of family complexities. In addition to really enjoying both the main female and male characters, I enjoyed the supporting characters as well. No one came off we flat or dull, everyone had fun personalities that felt as though you could know them personally. I would definitely recommend Love Tools and look forward to reading more from Isobel Reed.

They decide to be exclusive with each other and things get hot from there. This book is filled with romance and action packed. I highly recommend it to read.

This was a great second story in the world of WaterFyre Rising! I loved being back with other characters from the first book and learning more about how interconnected their stories are. This book can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading the first story in the series! This book was the perfect fake-dating trope, but also focused on destiny and fate. It made me constantly say, “Where is my billionaire hero to kill all the monsters in my closet??” but I loved it! There was so much passion and romance in this book, and I read it all in one sitting! I am excited to see if the story continues — which I hope it does! Nadia’s writing is so addictive, and I highly recommend the WaterFyre Rising series.

This book is romance and drama all bundled into one delightful short story. All four main characters are relatable and the writing immediately draws you in. A fun romance between a gal from London and a guy in a small Montana town.
Lily has just moved in to the hardware store (with an apartment on the 2nd floor she inherited from her estranged father. The first person she meets is Jake, a friend of Lily’s father.
From the start when Lily and Jake meet and things go a bit askew. But soon enough, each of them realizes that the other is different from past boyfriends or girlfriends. Of course it takes time because there are other things to consider – Sam, Lily’s only friend who happens to be Jake’s sister.
I had fun reading this book. The author did a wonderful job keeping the story going which kept me interested in reading more. The characters were easy to connect with and I could feel the pain and frustration Lily had about her father’s abandonment and also surprise in finding out he left the hardware store to her.

I enjoyed the story line around Royce. I found Michelle’s story line to be chaotic. It feels like the author tried to pad out her part of the story with too many variables. I also found the flashbacks to the past slowed the story down and I had a hard time sticking with it. Despite struggling through parts of the story, the author does have good attention to detail and manages to connect all the pieces together. If you like intricate story lines, this might be the read for you.

This was such a cute fun read that mentioned topics that other romance books have not mentioned before, giving it a new meaning and something, that people can enjoy. The main character, Lily, has just been told that her father has died, and he left her a tool shop in his will on the other side of the world. Needing to escape the area she is living, due to not liking the area/people she is surrounded by, she packs up her things and moves looking for a fresh start. Here in this small town, she meets friends and develops a love interest named Jake. Both of these characters grow and learn through instances that surround them that they both have in common, a parent leaving and not returning due to different circumstances. While this was a slow burn read w/o explicit scenes, I found myself not able to put this book down as I had to know what was to happen next! I cannot wait to read the second book in the series when it comes out as her sister is the main character and was a straight up SPIT FIRE in this one. I have no doubt that it will be just as good if not better than this one!

This book feels like a Hallmark movie in a good way! Love Tools is a story about Lily, who moves from London to Bluestone when her father dies. She decides to reopen her father’s hardware store and meets Jake along the way. Jake is a player but decides that he wants to settle down with Lily right when she suddenly can’t decide what she wants. These two have very cute interactions. It was a very fun read and I really enjoyed both characters. This is the first book in the Bluestone Series and I very much look forward to reading the next book.

One mistake brings Dorian and Augustine together but will all the lied tear them apart? What about their wives? How will the two men find a way to deal with the attraction that they have and still have the love that they cherish with their wives?
Augustine and Dorian’s journey is an interesting one. The two men find themselves in a place where they must really look deep into themselves and find the courage to either fight for what they want or let it go. I am sorry to say but this story was missing something for me. I did not really connect with any of the characters and their story did not pull me in. There are a lot of emotions on the page but I did not feel them. This story moves at a good pace and even though it is not a favorite of mine it was interesting to see how their journey would unfold.
This was a good, quick read. I am going through a divorce so I needed to compartmentalize when reading this. The bond between Ginny and Max was good despite their obstacles. This author does a good job weaving plot lines and adding depth to the story. I will read more by this author.

This was my first read by this author, but not the last. A wonderful story packed into a short read. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

This is such a good cozy read. The characters were wonderful and I felt as though I was in Buckeye Falls!! Ginny is returning to her hometown to help her father out as he is set to have hip surgery. Buckeye Falls begins to bring back good memories and Ginny begins to wonder if she were too hasty in leaving everything and everyone for the big city.

When Lily’s dad leaves her his shop, she figures it is a way to escape city life and find answers as to why her dad left and never came back all those years ago. What she doesn’t expect (or want) to find is Jake…and handsome rancher who knew her dad. Lily has always been attracted to guys that break her heart, so she is determined to keep Jake at bay. Jake, however…is not one to follow directions.
When Jake meets Lily, there are sparks right away. He wants to pursue her…but his sister thinks his reputation of never having a long-term relationship means he is incapable of love. Sure…he hasn’t been in love…but it doesn’t mean he can’t. He wants to give Lily the space and time she needs, but he just can’t stay away. However, a miscommunication puts all progress the two have in jeopardy. Will she accept his apology after her proved her insecurities to be true?
There are two storylines going on in this book. There is Lily and Jake’s relationship…and Lily finding out the truth about her father. Both are interesting and I enjoyed reading them. I like Sam and Ali’s characters, and was excited to see the next book is about Alice. Overall, a good story that reminds us that we may be shaped by our pasts…but it doesn’t define us or our futures.

This is a great contemporary romance that I really enjoyed reading. I hadn’t read any of this author’s work before and I was really pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed reading this story. Lily has moved from the hustle and bustle of London, a city with a population of over 8 million people to live in small town Bluestone County. Jake has lived in Bluestone County all his life and is a true country boy at heart. Lily is sworn off dating the same loser types she’s always dated and Jake is a known womaniser, the opposite of what she wants. It’s definitely not a case of love at first sight. In fact, Lily seriously dislikes Jake at their first meeting. I really enjoyed reading Jake and Lily’s story. The banter between them makes for some fun reading as they bicker over the slightest thing, pushing each other’s buttons. Lily and Jake are both great characters that I really enjoyed reading about. They are both characters that you can easily relate to and I could have read about them for much longer. All in all this is a great read that I’d definitely recommend to others.
