I enjoyed the story line around Royce. I found Michelle’s story line to be chaotic. It feels like the author tried to pad out her part of the story with too many variables. I also found the flashbacks to the past slowed the story down and I had a hard time sticking with it.
Despite struggling through parts of the story, the author does have good attention to detail and manages to connect all the pieces together.
If you like intricate story lines, this might be the read for you.
