Hands down one of the funniest books I have read this year. Packed full of adventure and the budding friendship that grows is fantastic. This book is FULL of awesome minor characters as well. I really hope there is a spin off on this and they delve into the other couples and continue on with new characters to make Kamana Wanayala a thriving business again. Absolutely recommend this story!!

To fall in love or not fall in love….that is the question! Talk about an entertaining book! I was drawn in right away with the wittiness and playfulness between the characters. Tenley and Teagen, are two people with very opposite opinions about the subject of love. Their opinions are so different that Teagan decides to invite Tenley to Hawaii on a romantic getaway and let’s just say…things do not go as planned! This story was a fun and entertaining read! The author truly did put a lot of work into making you feel the tension and attraction between the characters! There were definitely plenty of laugh out loud moments! And don’t let the title fool you…just because the storyline is based around Christmas time, does not mean it’s not a good read anytime of the year!

Kamana Wanalaya was the 1st book I’ve read by this author. I really enjoy reading books from different authors and seeing their different writing styles. This was a quick read. Definitely entertaining. It was funny and spicy. The characters were great. It would make for a great holiday movie if the author ever decided to do that I’d definitely watch it!

When New York transplant Ginny Meyer returns to her small hometown to help her father recover from surgery, she isn’t looking for any complications. No Christmas caroling, no cookie decorating, and certainly no time spent with her ex-husband, Max. The trouble is, she’s looped into helping with the Christmas Jubilee—and a certain ex is her planning partner. Now all her plans to avoid Max disappear in a puff of tinsel. But she can resist his charms, right?
Max Sanchez has three great loves in his life—his diner, Christmas, and his ex-wife. He’s spent two years missing the woman who broke his heart and left town, and he’ll use any excuse to spend time with her. Max hopes some holiday cheer, and his famous cheese enchiladas, can help them find their way back together. Buckeye Falls hasn’t felt the same since Ginny left, and Max can tell she’s warming to the idea of staying in town. Now if only he could get her to stay with him…
With a little help from the residents of Buckeye Falls, this Christmas is bringing more than presents under the tree.
Author Libby Kay’s books are perfect for fans of Kristan Higgins’ second chance romances or Sharon Sala’s smalltown romances. Readers will fall in love with Buckeye Falls, Ohio and the townspeople as they embrace the holiday season. Slip in to this enchanting smalltown and stay awhile! You might just fall in love…
This was a fun 5 star read. This was my first read from this author and I really enjoyed it. The author had me pulled in right from the start, I was LOL. Tenley and Teagan were opposites attract for sure. They both had different views on love, watching their story develop was so great. And the challenge was great, will it change the views on love?
My favorite quote from the book is “God gave men both a penis and a brain, but only enough blood to supply one at a time. “
Overall this was a great read. The characters were great and we got some steamy scenes as well. I had several LOL moments. If you’re looking for a fun opposites attract romance this is the book for you. I look forward to reading more from this author. 1-click and get started today.

Wonderful, feel good contemporary romance just in time for the holiday season! I loved every bit of this story of two contending Paralympic athletes in skiing that are hot both on and off the slopes.
Sienna is definitely the ultra focused Paralympic skier who knows nothing outside of focusing on the Winter Games Gold. Everything around her is controlled by her mother down to every detail. When Conner comes aboard in training with Sienna and her coach for his Paralympic dreams..Sienna starts to question what does she truly want and does she want everything in her life to be controlled. As both Sienna and Conner peel the layers back and get to truly know each other on a deeper level than skiing….love blossoms and some demons are shed and let go….will Sienna and Conner go for gold in both love and skiing?
This story really pulled my heart strings…it made me smile and melted my heart on both characters back stories….this is truly a wonderful contemporary romance that just is filled with love, hope, joy and some Christmas magic….Happy Reading!!!

if I could give this book 20 stars, I would! The characters are all phenomenal! They all have their own personalities and you get many different POV’s and I LOVE that in a book. Teagan AKA the love guru and Tenley AKA TJ On PAR…have never met, until the love guru invites her to this resort in Hawaii. He’s a sucker for love and she doesn’t believe in it. Will she let her guard down and fall in love? Does he have what it takes to break down her walls? This book is greatly written and it’s easily became one of my favorite reads this year! The humor is top notch and I’ve laughed out loud many times while reading. That spice though? *chefs kiss* 🤌🏽😘 it’s hot!! 🥵 Teagan sure has a way with words and I loved every page of the spicy scenes! I never wanted it to end! But with spice I also need a great plot..and this book has it all! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this book!

Kamana Wanalaya for the Holidays by Susan Renee is a spicy enemies-to-lovers, opposites attract tale with a seasonal twist. The book follows Teagan and Tenley (the yin and yang of all things romance and love) as they vacation for a week at a beautiful Hawaiian resort. Along with a cast of other couples – who are all very different – Teagan and Tenley learn about each other and challenge their views of life and love. There’s laughter, emotions, and love; this quick read will most certainly be a welcome addition to your reading log.
Also, there is an authors note at the end which does mention that characters seen here appear elsewhere in her other books. I’ve not read her before so I cannot speak to what the other books are like but I can say I love it when authors do that. It’s like a present to get to revisit our favorite characters and see where life has taken them!

A little cheese and a little spice makes for a nice story about a guy who believes in love and the girl he tries to convince it’s not just a sham. A friendly bet, aided by a beautiful island adventure and romantic resort experience, might just be enough to convince practical Tenley to give love a shot. But, that doesn’t mean Teagan has an easy job of convincing her that practicality doesn’t always work on matters of the heart.

This is the first book I have read by the talented Susan Renee. While the synopsis and title pulled me in with a unique story it was the first sentence of page one that had me giggling to myself and roped me into the characters. Tenley is a “Love Cynic”, Teagan is a “Love Guru”. Tenley uses her podcast to tell her listeners about practical adult relationships. While her wishes for the world seem pure, she thinks the biggest problem in the world is too many people thinking with their heart and not their brains. Teagan uses his podcast to give his listeners hope about love. Everyone has a fated partner. He feels the world’s biggest problem is that too many people don’t love or feel they can be loved. Tenley reviews one of Teagan’s recent blog posts calling him out. During a radio interview Teagan takes it up a notch giving a formal invitation to the “Love Cynic”. An all-expenses paid one week vacation to Kamana Wanalaya Resort in Hawaii, only request that if she accepts, she comes in with an open mind. When she accepts everything begins to change. Will Teagan be able to help Tenley’s heart grow? Will Tenley finally be able to feel love? This book has it all, steamy scenes, comedy, and questions that really make you think. I honestly loved this book from page one, the characters were amazing and the way they are opposites with similar goals for the world makes you stop and think about how many different solutions there are to problems. They both want to: lower the divorce rates in the world, lower the domestic violence and lower the number of children in the foster care system. Will they find common ground between the Love Cynic and the Love Guru? Read this amazing original story to find out.

This was a cute read! It was funny and heartwarming. I thought it was kind of cynical at the beginning but the ending made the cynicism worth it. Even though the ending was predictable I still enjoyed reading this holiday, grumpy/sunshine story. It was well written, enthralling and kept me entertained for me the most part throughout it. This is the first book I’ve read from this author and I’m looking forward to reading more in the future!

Teagan is renowned for being the love guru. He faces a person who doesn’t believe in love. Her name is Tenley and she has a podcast for adult relationships. Her last podcast was about the resort he believed is where love happens. He offers her a full expense to see how she lasts. There is a lot of love, drama, and friendship. Such a great read! 🙂

I love all the characters but I most identify with Lisa for various reasons but the love we share for “while you were sleeping “ must be the highlight of our relationship 😍😉
I just love the way the girls took Lisa in and made them one of their own ❣️there’s so much to appreciate and envy to a degree about these girls from their movie club to the way they rally around Lisa when they see triggers that upset her 🥰
This is one of those reads that you want to shout out from the the rooftops ! Lisa you blessed with love and friendship !

Kamana Wanalaya for the Holidays: A Grinchy/Sunshine Holiday Romance
How has this author not caught my attention before now? I’m not sure how it happened but so glad I have found her.
This is a light hearted (mostly) story that takes place on the island of Kauai which I have had the pleasure going to several years ago. This book brought back some happy memories and made me want to go back.
Teagan and Tenley approach love from two different sides. He is the believer and she isn’t, but can a week in Hawaii make her see the other side?
I honestly couldn’t tell you how many times I laughed reading this book. It was the pick me up I needed after a rough week. I have added her previously released books to my TBR and I hope my life can slow down enough to get a chance to read them and any other releases. Definitely recommend this book.

I have so many words, yet none at al to describe how much i loved reading this lighthearted, fun, and heartwarming book.
Tj and Tj are each so confident in who they are when it comes to their feelings on love. Teagan is the ‘love guru’ and ALL about love and loving your friends, family, and he is not afraid to voice it for himself on his podcast. Tenley is so far against love, in a practical sense, that she doesn’t believe it’s even worth trying to find. And she says just as much, on HER podcast.
These two capture your brain and heart right from the get go. Their chemistry is revealed almost immediately, even with Ten trying her hardest to deny that she could easily fall for Teag. Meanwhile Teag almost instantly knows he’d like to get to know her more, even if it’s only between the sheets (wink).
You almost can’t help falling in love with all the characters in this story, and you fall in love with Kamala Wanalaya Resort too.

This was a book from a new author to me, so I was not sure what to expect. However, I loved the title and cover of the book because it made me think of the “Mele Kalikimaka” Christmas song that is one of my favorites. I fell in love with the main characters in this story and hated when it ended. I could not put this book down and read it in a day. This story is so realistic, and I felt like I had known these people my entire life. Despite never going to Hawaii, I feel like she described it so well that in my mind I was there on the shores with them. I was so glad to find out that there are individual books for each of the characters. I look forward to picking those up and reading them too. Please, please, please do yourself a favor and read this story. I cannot recommend it enough.

This is a really sweet and funny contemporary romance. I loved our lead characters and I liked how the author makes the female character the one who doesn’t believe in love and HEA and the male character is the believer. The book is funny and engaging and is definately a page turner. The attraction between the main characters is interesting to watch and you can’t help but find yourself hoping that they get together but it won’t be easy convincing a non believer to belief in the magic of love and romance.
Tenley isn’t a believer in romance. She believes love doesn’t exist and that everyone should look at relationships as business dealings. In her podcast she talks about her feelings and her reasonings as to why she thinks that and trys to show people the error in their ways for trust and believing in romance.
Teagan is the opposite. He classes himself as a love guru and firmly believes in the power of love and romance and strives to show everyone that it is real. When Tenley calls Teagan out for his false ideas of love, Teagan decides to set her a challenge.
If Tenley will join him at this romantic resort in Hawaii and doesn’t find love then he will donate to her podcast. When Tenley accepts the challenge neither of them expect the outcome. This is a fun push and pull story where both parties are wanting to prove their views right but when it comes down to it who will come off as the winner? When emotions and attraction starts to run wild can Teagan convince the relationship non believer to take a chance on him and the possibilities of romance?

Tenley Shay does a podcast under the name TJ On Par and is the voice of practicality in relationships. In her podcasts seem she seems to be a bit of downer on the concept of love and instead feels it is better to remain single. Tenley believes that people should be realistic about the concept of love and relationships.
Teagan is the exact opposite of Tenley and believes in the concept of love. After all, he does call himself the Love Guru so he must be an expert on the subject. When the Love Guru publishes an article about a romantic couple’s retreat at his favorite Hawaiian resort Tenley quickly becomes his biggest critic.
The Love Guru puts TJ On Par on the spot and offers her an all-expense paid trip at the Kamana Wanalaya resort believing that he can get her to fall in love. If he cannot then he will donate $10,000 to her podcast. Tenley reluctantly agrees feeling that it is a win-win situation for her. A free vacation and money for her podcast.
When Tenley arrives at the resort Teagan cannot deny his attraction to her witty sense of humor and her feisty attitude. Tenley also feels a twinge of attraction to the drop-dead gorgeous Teagan. Will they give in to their attraction to each other? Will Tenley drop her guard and finally believe that love is real?
This book had me chuckling from the first page with the witty remarks. The banter between Teagan and Tenley was witty and amusing. The chemistry between them was sizzling. The book was well written, witty, light-hearted, and romantic. A great read! PS: Am I the only one who picked up on the book’s title and how it sounds when pronounced slowly?

An enjoyable and engaging lighthearted contemporary romance, which had me happily turning the pages. Teagan, the Love Guru publishes an article about spending a week at the Hawaiian couple’s retreat, ‘Kamana Wanalaya Resort’, and Tenley Shay, the voice behind TJ ON PAR, a podcast for Practical Adult Relationships, is quick to comment. Tenley, is known for her disapproval of love and the practicality of remaining single for life, so, Teagan decides to call her bluff, and invites her on an all-expense paid trip to the couple’s retreat, for a little R&R before the holidays. He wants to prove her cynicism wrong and if he can’t get her to fall in love, then he will donate to her podcast. Having met and are coupled up for the week, their chemistry sizzles off the page, leading to some steamy scenes. Teagan finds himself attracted to her feisty attitude and her sense of humour. However, can Tenley, the world’s biggest relationship cynic change her thoughts on love. Asking her to risk everything, forget about her opinions on love, and take a real chance at love, might be too much to ask. This is a fun read, which kept me hooked throughout, the characters and the setting are brought to life, making me feel immersed in the story. I loved the main characters, and was cheering the couple on, hoping they would get their own HEA, for the holidays!

Tenley Shay is a podcast host that goes by the name TJ on PAR (Practical Adult Relationships). On air, she promotes her thoughts that love is essentially a fairytale and does not exist. Teagan Mackenzie, TJ Mack aka the Love Guru, believes love is the essence and driving force of truly living one’s best life. When Teagan is a guest on another podcast, and is questioned on his thoughts of TJ on PAR’s opinion, he finds himself making an offer to this Grinch, to join him on a trip to Kamana Wanalaya’s resort in Hawaii. If she does not fall in love with everything about the resort, he promises to make a $10k donation to her podcast. She agrees to go, thinking it will be an easy $10k. Little do they both know that this will be an experience neither of them expected, nor will they ever forget.
Kamana Wanalaya for the Holidays is my first book by Susan Renee, and I absolutely loved it. I loved the character development, the scene setting, and how we were able to read in both Teagan and Tenley’s point of view. I felt like that really helped me to connect with both of these characters and to better understand their opposing ways of thinking. If you’re looking for a perfectly-paced steamy story, with beautiful descriptions, dialogue that can have you laughing and really feeling all the feels, I highly recommend giving this book a chance!

This book was a very quick read due to how funny and engaging it was. From the opening line, it kept me interested and entertained. There are several laugh out loud moments, plenty of humor and uncomfortable moments and steam.
Tenley and Teagan are both podcast hosts. Tenley considers herself outside of being interested in love and is all about practicality and logic – no love for this girl and she doesn’t think others should be so obsessed with it, either. Teagan considers himself the “Love Guru” and just can’t stand how UNINTERESTED in love Tenley is. She’s a stick in the mud, not allowing herself any joy of a relationship.
So Teagan does what any red-blooded male would do in his situation – he invites her on a couples retreat in Hawaii, his treat. If she falls in love, Teagan wins, and if she doesn’t, she wins and gets 10k. Of course Tenley is interested in a free tropical vacation and the “guarantee” of ten thousand dollars, and so…away they go.
Along the way they find out it is an entire trip built around couples in love, they’re seated with couples in love, they’re pretending to BE a couple in love. They discover an attraction to one another that neither one of them expected, lots of excellent characters making cameos from the authors other books, and a possibility between them that neither of them expected. Who really “wins” this bet?
Very fun story. Cute, easy read, likable characters, beautiful backdrop, and a lot of fun.

Lily moves to a small country town to run her dad’s store after he leaves to her in his will. She quickly finds a friend in Sam and learns that her brother Jake is always around. The banter between Lily and Jake had me actually laughing out loud.
This is the first book I’ve read from this author but I will be diving into more soon!

I enjoyed reading this romance story. This is my first book by this author. I enjoyed her writing skills and attention to details that brought her story to life. This is a well written story where friends become lovers but not without the life struggles. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into their world with ease. They are relatable and kept the story engaging for me to the end. I enjoyed watching their growth throughout the story. Their chemistry is off the charts and their struggles feel real. This is a fast paced story that is full steam, romance and secrets that could destroy them. I also found this book hard to put down. You don’t want to miss this book. It is a great read and I highly recommend it.

Susan Renee where have you been all my life! I love me an enemies to loves romance and this was everything a girl would wish for.
Tenley is a practical woman and offers practical adult relationship advice via her anonymous podcast “TJ on PAR”. A lot of this relationship advice centers around her disapproval of love and the practicalities of being single. Then along comes “the Love Guru”, Teagan, with his offer for Tenley to join him for a week in Hawaii at a resort and a deal that he will pay her ten thousand dollars if she doesn’t fall in love. Of course, Tenely says yes to a free week in Hawaii and ten thousand dollars! Will Tenley walk away with love in her heart or a boat load of cash?
This just made my heart sing! Tenley is sassy and strong while and Teagan is fun and complimentary – it was so easy to want to ship them! The writing and layout made it such an easy read. The relationships and friendships were the sweetest and everything you would want for yourself on a Hawaiian holiday. The grand gesture that we patiently wait for in a Romance was the sweetest and totally worth it.
If Romance is your genre, then I recommend picking this up. I am off to add a few more Susan Renee books to my TBR!

4.7/5 Stars This is a quick, Christmas romance! It’s so good and the characters are easy to love. It’s a look into the professional athlete world and it gives a taste of what it’s like to sacrifice everything to be the best. I love that Sienna & Connor compliment each other in a realistic way. This book made me want to take a winter getaway to the slopes!

Snow in Love is a cute winter romance story. Grab a blanket and a cup of coffee or cocoa, and curl up on the couch for a quick read. The progression of the story is predictable, but I still really enjoyed it. Connor and Sienna are professional skiers who meet at a private training at an abandoned lodge. I love the little details the author put into the story. Each character is well written with a back story and family connection. Sienna is at a turning point in her career and needs time to discover what she wants for herself and stop living for her mom. Connor is struggling to find himself again after an accident that claimed half of his leg. I love his brother Colby and how helpful he was, while still being a typical college boy. I look forward to reading more by this author. She has a way with words and the book is short but sweet.
