This is the 4th book in the series but the only one I’ve read. I will definitely be going back to read the others! Jared and Ella have such a unique chemistry. The banter between them is felt through the pages. They start off with tons of bickering and arguing but that changes once they are snowed in a cabin together.

I enjoyed We Blend. It reminded me of all the romance movies that have been made when lying by omission could come back to bite you. The author weaved an interesting story with wonderful characters. Character growth was presented in an elegant way. Especially between the two main characters. El and Wil have ended up in the same place at the same time. Her trying to take a leap of faith and him in turn being the savior she needed to succeed. Unfortunately for El she doesn’t know that Wil has a hidden agenda with every intention of using her. What Wil never realized is El is not the person he assumed she was. She’s sheltered and kept isolated, but is it really for her own good? I feel like her parents are holding her back, they don’t want a career in stardom for her. El wants to have a music career. And music is my favorite theme throughout. Music allows both El and Wil to truly see each other. It also is a big growth contributing factor. Does Wil’s secret come back to haunt him? Will El’s parents realize they are smothering her and not protecting her? I look forward to reading other books by this author in the future. Because I went into this one with hope and promise, and it Absolutely delivered! Now it’s your turn!

It’s a wonder the steam from this couple didn’t melt them away from their snow covered prison in the mountains. You could cut that sexual tension with a knife. And those are exactly the things that made this such a fun read. Ella is very much a “what you see if what you get” type of chick, but Jared is another package that takes some time to unwrap and figure out. Boy’s got some issues, but I enjoyed watching them work through their differences and find each other. I loved this book and I’m so glad I had the opportunity to read it. If I did it all over again, I would start from the beginning of the series, just so I had a little better sense of some of the chapters. But no worries, as I’m ready to jump right into those now! Strongly suggest this fun read!

Such a good story. El and Will have such great chemistry. El just wants to put her music out there but her parents don’t think she can handle the spotlight. Will is trying everything he can to help his mom get the care that she needs, but falling for his dad’s step daughter was not a part of the plan. He just can’t seem to resist the pull towards El and the music that they create together. What will happen when El finds out who he really is and why he is there? I can’t wait to read the next book in the Falling for the Rockstar’s Daughter series.

Previous hook-up, rising tension, and snowed in together? What could go wrong (or right)? I loved all of the family dynamics playing a part in the story, as well as the close tender conversations “Sparky” and “Buttercup” had together. This love story shows you to establish and respect boundaries, as well as being true to who you are and others will accept you as you are. Not to mention the saucy scenes between the stubborn and the brash!

OMG! The tension, the chemistry, the story, the characters!! I was not prepared for the way it ended. I am a WE follower.
Melodie “El” is the daughter of a famous opera singer and a rock-n-roll megastar. This puts El in the spotlight on a regular basis, but also puts her in danger and causes her to be a popular target of the paparazzi. El grew up sheltered and protected. El has a dream of performing but her parents say no. She is determined to find a way.
Wil comes to the US for one reason, to find his sperm donor who just happens to be a famous rockstar. By chance, Wil meets El in a bar where she is attempting to perform. Wil helps El in that moment, starting a budding friendship. El is Wil’s way to the sperm donor.
As the friendship grows, so do El and Wil’s feelings for each other. As a bonus, El’s confidence on stage has blossomed. Wil and El start a working relationship, Wil’s words with El’s music. The songs are amazing and soulful. As El’s parents start making decisions for her and lessen her chances of breaking away, El and Wil make some big changes.
Once El and Wil meet and have that moment on stage, there is no letting this pair go. There is so much to like about this. Except the ending. I wasn’t expecting it. It is not bad but I didn’t realize. I wasn’t ready. It was just so…….I wasn’t ready. But I do know I will be anxiously waiting for WE Breathe.

It was a fantastic book to read. You get the chance to watch a character develop into more than you think. This book made me laugh and get frustrated along with the characters.
This book follows the story of Ella and Jared. Jared, the bad boy drummer with a line of waiting and willing women. Ella is a woman that loves her family and is conflicted about her feelings.
What happens when you stick two hot heads in a secluded location with no escape? Will old habits come back to bite them? Will they learn to be friends and leave the past in the past?
Read this book to follow this love-hate relationship. It is filled with a lot of spice for you spice lovers as well. Keep a glass of water to keep you cool during arguments and spice.

This is the first book that I have read from this author and I was not disappointed. I fell in love with this book from the very first page of it. I was not able to put the book down until I had finished from the beginning to end. I highly recommend this book to any and everyone. You won’t be disappointed. Greer Smith’s circumstances change radically her senior year of high school. Moving from an apartment to a multimillion-dollar mansion should be an easy transition, but her soon-to-be stepbrother makes it hell on earth. Beckett Dawson is a football god and an arrogant jerk. He makes it clear Greer is not welcome in his home or at his elite private school. And yet, the battle with herself is more confusing than the one with Beckett. Even with confusing and unexpected obstacles, Greer is determined to find a way to not only survive but also to thrive, no matter what Beckett throws her way. But he’s not going to make it easy. I’m excited to read more books from the author in the near future

Being the step daughter of a famous musician isn’t always an easy thing. This is true for El;who is determined to make her own way in the music industry. She does not want to use her last name or parent’s name just to get doors to open which is even more difficult when you have extremely overprotect parents.
Wil is in LA to participate in a film competition which really could provide him with a once in a lifetime opportunity.
When the two meet there are sparks and a chemistry that can’t be denied. Will the two act on them? Will each reach their goals? Will they be completely honest with each other? Will they trust in each other?
This story is well written. The story line is easy to follow, has great imagery, and wonderfully written characters. While I am not usually a cliffhanger type, now that I have read the book, I am invested and can not wait to see what comes next.

An enjoyable and engaging contemporary western romance which kept me happily turning the pages. Tori, the daughter of a legendary saddle bronc rider, Justin Foster, has big dreams. Dreams which until now she’s kept to herself, but she’s ready to show what she’s capable of. Cord King is at the top of his game in his rookie season as a saddle bronc rider, and has a lot of both media and female attention. Tori and Cord meet in Elk Field during the annual rodeo, but Tori is unimpressed by Cord, and isn’t going to let him get in the way of reaching her goals. Cord, is used to impressing the women around him, but not Tori, a feisty cowgirl who isn’t afraid to talk back to him. Once Tori takes to the arena all eyes are on her, fuelling Cord’s jealousy, which if he doesn’t overcome might stop him from seeing how much talent she actually has. Tori has to stay focused and not let Cord be a distraction, as they compete both in and outside of the arena. They both want to win the coveted championship buckle, but will their competitiveness stop any potential relationship from developing. I felt immersed in the world of rodeo’s, saddle bronc riding, and cowboys and cowgirls due to the wonderfully descriptive narrative. The main characters were likeable and relatable and I was cheering them on hoping they would get their HEA, and the buckle!

This book started off strong for me. I was so excited to read a book involving music and rocker lifestyles with a daughter trying to find her way out from under her parent’s thumbs. I love a good story about a woman finding her own way and making her own path. And how could I not want to read about a romance of a man coming to her rescue when she needs help and he’s from out of the country?? Yes, please! I was really into El’s hidden identity part I thought that was so fun. Her parents were honestly a little much, and I can see why she would have to hide what she is really doing from them. Things went downhill for me when the ties between El and Wil were made clear. STRONG family ties were just sickening to me to see how they are connected. Maybe it is because I come from a very blended family with both half and adoptive relatives that this just rubbed me the wrong way. This story could have been so great without the aspect of why Wil is really in the country or the weird way it ties to El. I don’t want to spoil it and I can’t say why I hated this without saying what IT was but just no. That ruined the whole book for me. Got 2 stars because it would have been a good story without the weird connection and drama.

This was a wonderful read and I’m so glad I found it. I like a good contemporary romance read and this one was just great to read. I absolutely loved the characters El and Wil – I think I fell in love with them straight away. El was so determined to make her way in her music career and I loved that determination about her. I loved the first meeting between her and Wil.- there was just something about them that made me fall in love with them both straightaway. The authors writing was just wonderful, so seamless and easy to read. I am absolutely looking forward to the next book in this series. I wholeheartedly recommend this book it’s a wonderful read.

Wow, wow WOW!!! absolutely 100% a 5 star read from start to finish. This is the first book from this AMAZING author that I have read and it most definitely will not be the last. The characters dive straight into your heart and keep you captive even after you’ve finished reading. Wil and El (Melodie) definitely have chemistry both musically and personally that can not be denied. As we all know though, no path in life runs completely smooth and this is true for them also. Belief in each other will win the day. I can’t wait to see where life takes them next!

4.2/5 Stars This is my first read by these authors and it was a good introduction to their work! Wil & Melodie’s romance was very well written and had some depth even though they’re young. The consistency of the music industry being mentioned was nice because it really puts you inside of the book. I enjoyed reading about what it’s like to be famous and rich, yet want to hide from that world. Not only does this book do a great job at keeping you engaged, the ending makes you excited to read more!

This is the first book in the series, and already an amazing start! Will is a billionaire who builds cars and takes care of business. He receives a letter from a teen who loves cars. He decides to meet him, and he also meets Harper, the sister and pretty thing she is. They get together a lot more since, and you get a lot of friendship, romance, and of course, some drama in between. Seriously a great book!

Phenomenal read! Romance is my absolute favorite genre to read. I loved you yesterday definitely did not disappoint. Usually early on in a story, like this, where there is a love triangle. I try to guess who the character is gonna end up with and most times that’s who they end up with but this one had me going back and forth. I just couldn’t figure it out. You have one who is embedded in her past and they have all of this history and then you have the other one who had helped her through some tough times in her life. I just couldn’t figure it out, so I decided for myself who I wanted her to end up with and by the end of the story I was a little sad that she didn’t pick who I was rooting for but I have hope that he will get his happy ending in the next book. Soooo with that being said, as you can imagine I am super excited for book 2. I can’t wait to read it.
Mavis is a young woman living her life alone, away from everyone she loves. Austin and Josh are twin brothers, grown up, and rather successful. Josh and Mavis dated when they were in high school, and one day, Mavis just up and left town, and nobody has seen her or been in contact with her since. When the past comes creeping back up, Mavis isn’t sure how to handle it. There’s a reason she left previously. The book has an interesting story line. It starts off a little slow, but it has to in order to explain the story. Stick with it, it snags your attention and you will love it. The author does a great job of looking at everything from everyone’s perspective, because in the end, Mavis’ decision affected everyone, and everybody deserves their say.
This book is book four of the series. It can be read as a standalone. This book is a rockstar/forced proximity romance. It’s also the first book I’ve read by this author but I’m going to have to read the rest of the series because this one was good!
Ella met Jared, the man of her dreams. She didn’t expect that her dreams would be crushed a week later. She was sure she’d never see him again but fate is tricky that way. Now she has to spend more time than she’d ever like to with him and needs a break. That’s where the cabin comes in. Of course, again, fate had other plans and now they are stuck together even more.
Ella and Jared have crazy chemistry! Even when she hates him and they are fighting like cats and dogs, you can feel the tension in the best way! I really enjoyed this book. It was a good read!!

Tori lives in a world of cowboys, but she is no buckle bunny. She isn’t there to hang on the arms of a bronc rider, she is a bronc rider. Now after practicing in secret, it’s time to let the rest of the world know it. As a woman, it won’t be easy to convince everyone she belongs in the saddle but that is just what she plans to do and she isn’t going to let anything get in the way. Especially not a hunky cowboy with an inflated ego. I loved this story. I haven’t read many books like this where my love of books and all things horses collide. Even more fitting that I share a name with the main character. I enjoyed seeing Tori show her strength and independence in the cowboy world. It kind of reminds me of Jade in the Canadian t.v. series, “Heartland”. I loved the characters, and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. If you like horses, cowboys, and independent women, this book is for you!

We Blend (Falling for the Rockstar’s Daughter Book 1) by Willa Drew. This was such a fun read. I really enjoyed it. Its the story of El (Melodie) who is the step daughter of a famous rock star. They want to make sure and protect her from all the mistakes they have made. When El meets Wil in a bar sparks fly and when they sing together its off the charts. Overly protected Melody is the step daughter of a very famous rockstar. Wil is in the USA to take part in a movie project at UCLA. A chance meeting between Wil and El (Melody) leads them on the journey of a life time. Trying to make the money needed to create a music video for El and to just live on and help with his mother’s medications back home in Germany. This couple finds that they have a lot in common when it comes to song writing and music in general. I absolutely adore the way they interact and get to know each other. It is a wonderful storyline. One thing they for sure have in common, is rodeo! Tori and Cord are seriously so perfect for each other! And tori is such a badass. Rodeo riding isn’t just for men and she’s damn certain to make that clear! After reading this, I have to read more of Brooke’s books! I love her writing!

This is the first book in the series and a fun, flirty romance filled with secrets. It’s nice the romance plot isn’t over mushy. What seems like an unlikely romance becomes an alliance and love is tested. I like how the author keeps the music world in all of the settings. This helps keep the reader immersed in the story. If you like paparazzi, rocker lifestyle, and romance thrown in the mix, this is the book for you. Rock on!

WE Blend is the first book in the Falling For the Rockstar’s Daughter series by Willa Drew. It is a fun contemporary romance with secrets, drama, chemistry, and finding love unexpectedly- all set around the music scene. Willa Drew is a new to me author and upon further investigation I discovered that this is the pen name of two talented authors who collaborated to bring us this flirty and fun read. I am glad I stumbled on this book and these authors, and I will definitely be adding them to my list of authors to keep my eye out for. I won’t go into the story here, as I really don’t want to spoil it for you. I think it is worth going into a bit ‘blind’ and let the authors, characters, and story surprise you- in a great way. I loved the whole secret identity element, as well as the music ‘scene’ aspect to the story- it gave the book its own unique identity and feel. The characters, Wil and El (WE) were well developed and likeable- I was easily invested in them and the outcome of their story. This book ends on a cliffhanger, so everything is set to continue in Book #2…. Bring it on! Happy Reading.

El is trying to find her own way into the music business, even though many would believe she has an “in” because her step father is a famous musician. But El wants to make it on her own. Wil has travelled from Germany to make a film with a group of others. He finds himself in need of a job in addition to the film making. It’s a experience of a lifetime and Wil is not going to let anything stop him. I really enjoyed reading this book and I can’t wait for the next book in the series. The authors did a wonderful job of writing the characters in a way that I felt connected to them right away. Reminded me of how life was when I ventured out on my own after moving away from home.

This was such an amazing story; I loved reading it so much! Melodie/El and Wil had such great chemistry and dialogue and pacing was perfect. This book had so much emotion and feelings enveloped within it. It was fantastic to see how the characters were able to grow and develop throughout the story. I also loved the relationship between Melodie and Sven, her bodyguard, I definitely feel like Sven has more of a tale to be shared and so I am hoping we might get to learn even more about him in the following book. I loved all of the relationships that Wil created and was able to introduce El into and be a part of. We get to see as the Rockstar’s daughter, she isn’t really able to make friends and it was so sweet seeing her get to be a part of something special with everyone and feeling like she belonged. This was a fantastic story and I can’t wait to see more of them in the following book!

Breathless in Love by Bella Andre and Jennifer Skully Narrated by Eva Kaminsky Five Stars
This is the first book in the Maverick Billionaires Series. This is also the first book I have listened to by either of these authors. I’m hooked. This was such a feel good listen. I can’t wait to hear the other brothers stories. Eva Kaminsky is an awesome narrator. Her voice is really easy to listen to. I felt like I was right there with the characters. All around excellent experience! Review by @sunbarn

I really loved this story. The characters were very heartfelt and I felt a bond with them immediately. I saw that this is the first book in a series and I truthfully cannot wait for the second book. El is the stepdaughter of a rock star. She has lived her life in his shadow. She has always struggled with doing anything but music. However, she doesn’t want to be the child of a rockstar who thinks they can make it based on their last name. She is determined to make it in the industry at all costs, which will prove to be hard given being under her parents thumb. Wil is the product of a single mother and his grandfather. He has traveled to Las Angeles for a film competition. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for more reasons than just the chance to become known for what he loves. Wil and El end up bumping into one another by chance. However, there doesn’t seem like there is going to be anything ordinary about the two of them. Their chemistry is undeniable. They are both keeping secrets from each other, and when those come to light things become tested between them. If you are on the fence about reading this, please read it! It is such a fun, well written read.

This is a great story written by two clearly talented authors. The characters have been put front and centre of this book, with their story and development being what it is all about. The overall storyline feels like it is there to support and compliment them and to make you, as the reader, engage with them. This is the first time I have a read a book by these authors and I enjoyed the collaboration. The book flowed well, seamlessly moving through the story. You couldn’t tell who had written which part of the book and I enjoyed that. it kept the pace of the book and didn’t break your connection. This was an enjoyable story and I look forward to discovering more of their work.
