Fairly Royal (The Fair Series Book 4) by Grace Grahme. This was such a good, fun romance. Its the story of Anna and Phillip. Anna has been crushing on Phillip for years. Phillip is her brothers best friend so they pretty much grew up together. Anna is trying to grow her new business so she is trying to put herself out there socially more. Phillip is the Earl of Arburne and has given up on women but needs a girlfriend for social events for PR purposes. When the Press takes pictures of Anna and Phillip out together the rumor gets started that they are a couple. Phillip decides to run with it to keep the press happy and his mom off his back. While they start spending more time together Anna falls more in love with Phillip and he bgins to have feelings for her. Will they be able to make a romance work or will their past come between them? Such a fun romance.

A bit of everything This is the fourth book in The Fair Series. This is a best friend’s little sister, billionaire, royal, with fake relationship and a touch of pretty woman type of romance. It is well written and the characters get their fair share of challenges. There’s drama, scandals, lies and some steam along the way. Anna is a very strong character and stays true to herself throughout the whole story. I enjoyed the setting and the way the author immersed the Scottish culture and dialogue. It was not overly done and well balanced. Recommend.

This book is less of a romance and more of a coming into yourself book. There is a romance aspect of it but most of its about the battle of your inner self. Anton and Elsa are both in love with each other but each have their vices, one acting and after a sad turn of events the other turns to drugs. Will they be able to save themselves before they ruin their love for each other? Great writing like always has an awesome storyline.

Scandalously Yours is the fifth book in the Titans of Manhattan series by Anise Storm. This is another wonderful instalment in the Titan’s series. As with the others, this is a contemporary romance with an office/workplace romance aspect, taboo relationship (he’s her boss), medical romance, chemistry, sparks, sizzle, angst, agendas, danger, scandal, tension, complexity, greed, emotion, secrets, manipulation, pain, heartache, meddling ex, and finding love unexpectedly. After meeting Kristopher previously and not liking him much after finding out about the nasty part he played in Kenzie and Jonas’s story (in the last instalment), I went into this story with a bit of a heavy heart as I was convinced that I was never going to like Kris no matter what happened. Well, I admit now that I was wrong. He won me over, surprisingly- and I am so relieved that I don’t have to hate him, or this book lol. As expected from Ms. Anise, the story was quite emotional and heart-wrenching at times- I really felt for both the characters and what they were going through. There were times though that I really wanted to shake them both for their lack of communication- so frustrating. Some of the subject-matter could be considered triggers for some readers, such the toxic relationship between Kris and his ex, her emotional manipulation and blackmail- using the children as pawns in trying to control Kris and the situation (I hated her with such a passion, and would have loved to have throttled her for what she did- she was such a *&^%$@$ <@~^?). There were also some intimate scenes that made me cringe a little, as all I kept thinking was that there was a huge potential for a vaginal infection (ie: I’m not against anal play, but going from backdoor to frontdoor and back again was a no from me lol… I kept thinking noooooo. But that is just my personal opinion, where I learned that you never go from the back door to the front door, as it is very unhygienic and can lead to serious infection in the lady garden- but again, that’s just my opinion. If you don’t mind then that’s fine too)… I can’t wait for the Titans of Chicago series to arrive- so excited to see what those books will hold! Happy reading!

This was a great 5 star read. I really liked Phillip and Anna’s story. Anna is Phillips best friend’s sister, she is off limits. Phillip is tired of his mother bothering him about dating. However, there is an opportunity for Phillip that he doesn’t want to pass up. Talk to Anna about fake dating, but can they keep it fake or will their feelings get involved?
Overall this was a great read. Anna was the perfect person for Philip, she brought him out of his shell. She was a strong character that had me LOL at times. The attraction and steaminess between these two was off the charts hot. There were a few things that had me wondering if they would make it but I was happy with how things ended. Anna is learning to mingle with high society but she feels a bit out of her element but she finds ways to get comfortable in these situations. She’s had a crush for Phillip for many years and it finally seems like things are going in the right direction. I love Anna’s whit and sass and how she interacts with Phillip who always seems to be in “royal guise” but she brings him more down to earth. This book is the 4th book in the series. Although I haven’t read the other books in the series I had no problem connecting with the characters and enjoyed all the extra moments with what I assume were characters in the earlier books.

I immediately liked this book from the start. Anna was a delight of a character to read about and she ended up being my favorite. She is the perfect balance of poised woman and take no shit woman. I admired her for the countless times she stood up for herself and I found her hilarious a lot of times. She was the perfect balance to Phillip who was a bit too stiff for me at first. He was exactly what I imagined a Royal person would be like but him having Anna to help keep him down to earth and be a normal person it was lovely to see him be a real human and I adored the way he slowly fell for Anna. I love a slow romance on either end but since Anna has loved him for years I enjoyed reading about Phillip slowly opening up to her and falling for the girl I’d adored from the start. This was also so steamy I had to stop reading at some points to cool down. It was very good! I was waiting for the drama for a long time because most of the book was like a fairytale and the drama did come through. It was almost painful reading about Phillip be such an idiot but his groveling worked and I appreciated the happy ending although could have done without the random pregnancy scare that ended up being nothing. That felt pointless as I would have been expected the last chapter pregnancy to happen but this felt like a fake out. I overall enjoyed this and was surprised to read it in less than 24 hours. I am now intrigued with the rest of the series and may have to read them to learn more about the other characters cause I really enjoyed almost all the characters in this book. Anna is the Queen in my book though. She was epic.

Although very predictable and Hallmark special feeling. This one still has all the warm fuzzy good feelings that I love. The characters are well written and endearing. And the vernacular is really fun for an American! I absolutely love Scottish slang! There’s a Glossary of Scottish Slang at the rear of the Book! Our Main Lady is Anna, a Scottish lass with a wonderful vocabulary that I absolutely adore! She’s unapologetically herself and doesn’t change who she is for a man in this one, yet the character growth is beautiful. Our main man is Lord Phillip Sutherland, Earl of Arburne, a British aristocrat. He has decided who he has to be due to his title, but can he truly embrace who he is and live for the right woman. This romance is a really easy, but fun read. The characters are all really well written with great growth and story arcs. The world is rich and you don’t want to put this one down. It’s definitely going into my pile of “comfort reads” novels.

I really loved reading about Phillip and Anna, they are so good together. There is just enough steamy to go with all the sassiness from Anna. It pulled me in and I could not put it down. This is a great follow up to the first book in this series. After the horrific events at the end of the first book, and all that Melody and her best friends Lance and Imani were put through, this book shows us a bit more about the recovery process and the healing of the friendships between our main characters. Not only do we see how Junior and Senior year of college goes for them, but how the first few years after school turned out as well. This book is told from Lance’s perspective, for the most part, but has input from Imani and Melody as well. While I definitely don’t agree with all of the characters life choices, and at times found myself wanting to smack some sense into a few of them, I also found myself getting so lost in the story that the real world ceased to exist until I had to put the book down to do real world things. I can’t wait to see how this series ends.

Whew can I say that this book was AMAZING!! I have not read any books by this author before reading this one and I cannot wait to read more books by her! Anna is a character that is totally relatable who you just enjoy reading. Phillip is one who is learning more about himself and how to relax a little bit. Their ruse starts out as one that is make pretend but as the time goes on, they start having real feelings and that’s when this book gets even more intriguing! This book was just plum wonderful, and I cannot wait to reread it and let my friends know that this is one that needs to be added to their list of books to read.

I love this series so much and I can say this….this story of Kristopher and Alessia….this story gave me some emotion from one minute smiling and happy to the next I was angry and mad at what they endured not only together but Kristopher himself…..
Kristopher Simon is the new head of a hospital in New York….he is totally driven in his career to be successful and also the love of his two children that he has. Kristopher is going though a separation and divorce from his wife, Hayley. Kristopher is really going to the end of the earth to make the divorce final and the ugliness that Hayley protrudes toward Kristopher, she wants to make it quite difficult. This is the first book from this author I have read and I was hooked. I like how the author has a well balanced story line with just enough drama to balance out the steamy romance. I also like how the characters have a bit of complexity. The chemistry is just so explosive and I really could not put this book down. I like how the characters compliment one another and how there is fireworks in the making. I love how they come together and how the author draws out the story line. I will definitely be reading more from this author.

An enjoyable and engaging read, which kept me happily turning the pages. Having read book one, it was nice to be back with the three friends, Lance, Imani, and Melody. The storyline continues from the previous book, and the friends are all coming to terms with the traumatic events that occurred. Having nearly lost his two friends, Lance is determined to protect them, along with fulfilling his dream of becoming a professional footballer. Imani, is continuing with her chemical engineering degree and the hope of a promising career. Melody has been left shattered but is even more determined to find true love like her parents. As the friends try to recover from the unimaginable, their friendship is tested. Lance’s promiscuity may not only affect his NFL dreams, but also endanger the girls again. Meanwhile, Melody is at risk of making the same mistakes that nearly got her killed, and Imani’s racist preconceptions may prevent her academic progress. This is an emotional rollercoaster of a read, full of drama and angst, but fundamentally the friendship element shines through. The characters are all likeable and relatable, making me feel engaged with them and their lives. I look forward to book three, and with ‘catching up’ with the trio of friends again.

Anna has been crushing on Phillip for the last 15 years. Phillip was her brother’s best friend. They practically grew up together. Anna was technically off-limits, bro code and all. All of that changed when Anna kissed Phillip on Halloween, or Samhain as the Scottish call it. What made the situation more confusing was when Phillip kissed Anna the second time.
As Anna is fulfilling her duty to her family by attending more society social events, Phillip has offered to be a guide. When Anna and Phillip have their picture taken together, the media starts to talk about the couple. Phillip hatches a plan, fake date Anna to keep the press and his mother off his back about dating and relationships. Phillip finds that Anna brings out a side of him he thought was long gone due to him caving to the duties and requirements of his family. Anna finds the man behind the mask more intriguing and loveable than Phillip’s public face for which she had already fallen.
When the ghosts of the past threaten their new relationship, Phillip does what he always did, choose honor and family over his own feelings and desires. Does this mean the end for Anna and Phillip?
They tout this as a slow-burn romance, but there is heat and emotion and steam from the very beginning. The characters are smart, funny, witty and real. This was my first book in the series but it was a great one. Even with the Scottish slang thrown in, this was a fast and easy read!! Perfect for afternoons by the beach or pool or just an afternoon relaxing.

This is the 2nd book in the Colors Trilogy. We are back with Lance, Imani and Melody as they try to navigate college life. Dealing with new stresses, Romance, demons of the past and their future the 3 friends are going through their life’s facing different situations and finding and losing love.
After the devastating events of the last book it has sent shock waves through the 3 friends. Now they are all trying to rebuild their lives and all the challenges that they will come against. As young adults there is a lot of angst. Love and romance are confusing concepts. One thing none of the friends want is a repeat of the last time one of them fell in love. With Melody’s past relationship and the terrible end that came too she is reluctant to let another man close to her. Is she right to keep herself guarded and closed off? Imani is always strong and sensible but when she gets into a long- distance relationship with DJ she finds herself feeling and confronting emotions she’s never felt before .
And finally Lance. Lance is definately a ladies man. However now he main focus is looking after his girls and becoming a professional athlete. So how will he react when there is another danger aimed at his girls or when his promiscuous history comes back to bite him.
This story is full of emotion as they all deal with their own problems but their love for each other and unwavering support shines though the pages.

Love’s Mulligan is the first book in the Stroke of Love Series by C.A Miconi. It is a wonderful contemporary romance with second chances, a surprise wedding element, interracial romance, sport/golf, past history, emotion, drama, chemistry, and angst- set amongst the bright lights of Las Vegas. I wondered at the meaning behind the book’s title and have since learned that a mulligan is a golfing term that refers to ‘a second chance to perform an action, usually after the first went wrong’… so now the title makes perfect sense…. I love love love this author and this series! The Colors of Love was beautiful! I can’t wait to read book 3, I may even restart before I get my hands on book 3. Dealing with the aftermath of book 1, Lance, Melody, and Imani end up on adventures over the next few years of school. The time crunch in this one is definitely quicker than book 1. Race definitely becomes an issue in the book. Imani is a strong presence. Imani even struggles with it herself. Can’t see past it, on how she should only be dating her own race all others are off limits. It’s definitely a learning experience for her, and I am glad Melody had a meltdown and opened Imani’s eyes to reality. Key To His Heart is an emotionally gripping, single-parent contemporary romance when the past meets the present. Unconditional love is tested when devastating truths are revealed. This is the first book that I have read from this author and I was not disappointed. I immediately fell in love with this book from the very first chapter. I could not put this book down until I had finished it. The plot, the wonderful characters, everything was written amazing. This book had me feeling all kinds of emotions. It took me a emotional roller coaster that i want ride over and over again. I felt a connection with the characters, I was able to see and feel everything they were. I wish I had a time machine where I could go back and re read this book again for the first time and experience everything again.

An enjoyable and engaging, second chance at love romance, which kept me happily turning the pages. Kellie is the event coordinator for a Vegas hotel, and she’s excited to be in charge of planning a celebrity wedding, for Mila, a well known swimsuit model. However, her past comes back to haunt her when she learns that the groom is Harrison Hayes, the golden guy of golf, and Kellie’s high school sweetheart. Harrison left both their small town and Kellie behind to explore his bright future in golf, breaking her heart in the process. Unfortunately seeing Harrison again stirs up all her old feelings, but she’s determined to be professional, after all he’s getting married and her career in hospitality management is at risk if the wedding doesn’t go perfectly. Harrison can’t believe that his wedding coordinator is the girl who got away, and the one he still loves, Kellie. In order to gain some tour sponsors and lucrative endorsement deals, Harrison’s publicity team have arranged for him to get married in order to improve his image. He reluctantly goes along with the plan, but that was before Kellie came back into his life. Harrison needs to convince Kellie that he never stopped loving her, and that it’s her he wants to marry. This is a heartwarming romance, which had me hooked from page one. Both Kellie and Harrison are likeable and relatable characters, who’s chemistry came across in the narrative. I felt immersed in the story, and I was cheering the couple on hoping they would get their HEA.

I loved this second book in the series, the continuation of these characters and their stories. I thought this book was even better than the first, and I was pulled back into the story straight away. I couldn’t wait to see what the author did with the story and what was next for the three friends. This book is just as well written as the first and I found myself even more drawn to the characters than before. I really like how it feels like you truly get to know these characters with each passing page. I have enjoyed everything about this series so far and I cannot wait to read the next book.

I was very excited to read book 2 in this wonderful series, the first book was amazing from start to finish. So I had high hopes when I picked this one up, and needless to say, I was not disappointed! The amazing author created a sensational story once again, and I could not put this one down either.
I loved that this book continued the characters and what happened in the first, and continued. I enjoyed that we got to read about Lance and his story this time around. I really felt for him. And everything he was going through, as well as endured. The book really makes you feel a lot of emotions. Even when they’re painful, you don’t want to turn away, you want more, you want to feel. That’s the power this book and author can have over you. It’s rare and with its power, it’s enlightening as well. The story and writing is captivating. I love how I have the ability to connect with the lead character each book surrounds. I really love that. The book was amazing, and I felt so much! I couldn’t put it down! Loved it!
This author really has captured my interest since the first book in the series, and I know my interest will continue to be held. This book and series gives so much, it is impossible not to enjoy it! Wonderful read, highly recommend this must read book, series and author!

This story had captivated me right from the start. I could not put this one down, or even turn away, even if it seemed like a short time. The story had an entrancing story, as well as characters that kept you interested and gave myself as a reader, a longing for more.
The story had that small town type of feel but with dreams and love attached to it. If you had everything except from the one your heart holds most dear, do you really have everything? This book really gave me the feels, it gave the hurt of the past, as well as the present, and as well what the future could be if the decision to leave love behind again was to happen. What I enjoyed was seeing the hope in these characters. Even what held them back seemed to be the strongest force, hope reigned above all. The story was beautifully written, and the author really knew how to pull the reader in, a sensational author! Loved it!
Again, this story really captivated me all the way through, and I could not put this beauty down. I loved and enjoyed it with all my heart and soul! Highly recommend this must read!
