This is my first read by this author and I absolutely loved it! A girl from the wrong side of town meets her very own Prince Charming. They have lots of bumps along the way, but the author does very well helping you connect with the characters. I can’t wait to discover more books from this author, I know they won’t disappoint

This is a BWWM, enemies to lovers, billionaire romance. I have read this author several times and have enjoyed her work, but I struggled with this book. I didn’t like the main female character Zenni. She really annoyed me and I just couldn’t relate to her at all. The more the story continued, the more annoying I found her to be. She seemed very petty and stroppy and just overall unlikable to me. I did like the main male character Colton. I could relate to him and found him to be very likable. I loved his cheeky arrogance. The overall storyline was ok but I felt that the book was over all too quickly. At only 89 pages this is a story that could have been expanded and given more detail. Although, to be honest I was kinda glad to finally put Zenni to the back burner. As much as I struggled with this particular book, I’ve enjoyed many of this author’s books, so it won’t put me off reading her work again.

What would you do if you fell for a person from the wrong side of the tracks? Jeremy is a man born with a silver spoon and Regan is a woman with a horrific background. How do the two find each other by chance now they have to fight everyone around them to be together. But in the end, will they? I love how Ms. Colgrove shows both points of view so you can see both sides of the coin, this is the first of many I intend to read from Ms. Colgrove.

Who doesn’t dream of moving from a small town and making their dreams come true? Regan, who has just recently graduated high school, dreams of bigger and better things. While working her shift at the diner she waits on a table of executives. The youngest of the bunch, who we come to find out is Jeremy Stone, catches her eye. After seeing how little she was left as a tip she’s caught saying a few choice words when Jeremy walks back in to make sure she got the tip she deserved. From there things seems to move rather quickly and before we know it they are exclusively seeing each other. What will happen when Jeremy’s lease is the city is up? He isn’t a permanent resident in Boston after all. Will she wind up getting too attached and have her heart broken?

This is the perfect story of opposites attract! Regan just graduated highschool and all she wants to focus on is getting out of town and on to a better life. She thought nothing could get in the way of that until he walked in. Jeremy is working hard to take over his father’s company. He thinks of nothing but business until he meets Regan. When their worlds collide, neither knows how to handle their feelings.
Can you say hot and steamy?! The sparks between Regan and Jeremy, and the connection they build is undeniable. I enjoyed every steamy scene between them and could not wait for the next one. There is just enough detail to make it passionate without it being raunchy. Their passion and lust grow each time and it leaves you wanting more.
There are so many raw emotions in this story. I connected with Regan on such a personal level. She and I are from similar backgrounds, so I loved to see her character develop and discover who she is. Regan’s character is so real. Never have I felt so related to a character. I loved cheering her on page after page. This book is on the top of my list!

What roller coaster rides this author took us on. I loved this book because it was taking sharp curves in the moments, I least expected it. True love and fairytales, is there such? Isn’t that what every girl dreams of? Not Reagan, she is simply ready to get on with her life and is not worried about trying to find true love. Then there is Jeremy, who simply is ready to show his father that he can handle the task at hand and is ready to become the big boss…until he spots Reagan in a small diner! These two cross paths and the firework show begins. Will they find true love, or will life and family expectations get in the way? This is one book that I highly recommend reading. It is a quick read with some unexpected twists that will leave you with your mouth wide open!

Really a wrong side of the tracks meets a real true prince charming. Regan is from the south side of Boston working in the run-down diner when the hotshot rich developers stop in for lunch. Regan is fresh off the high school graduation stage just trying to stay out of trouble while making a buck. Jeremy’s family has bought up property on the south side of Boston right across from this little diner. Jeremy and Regan hit it off and the chemistry between the two is H.O.T!! But can two people from different social classes really make it work? Or will the evil truths of social differences keep them apart? The truth will eventually set them free. This is the first book that I have read from this author and I could not put it down. This book was a real page-turner. Most definitely a MUST read!! I can not wait to read more from this author!!

I do not usually give books 5 stars because it is hard to write the perfect book, however G. Colgrove has managed to captivate me from the first page!
These characters are relatable and so easy to fall in love with. Let’s face it almost everyone has thought they were cursed in love at one point or another. I could not put this book down, I loved the story and wanted so much more but the story was complete just the way it was! From the time you meet the characters until the book is over you live the story with them. The author does a fantastic job of keeping you invested!

Regan lives in South Boston and they get called Southies a lot. She hates when anyone called her Southie until Jeremy called her that and the rest was history. She just graduated high school and was going to save up money and help with her family. Jeremy was in town to help with his soon to be company build buildings around South Boston. They meet at the diner she works at and since then they ran into each other again, and kept seeing each other. With both of their families completely the opposite, many obstacle courses are ahead of them. Read to find out how it plays out. Loved and couldn’t put down!

I loved it! I did not want to put it down! Until There Was You was a great romance. Rich Guy/Poor Girl story line but it worked well. Reminds me a lot of when I watched Pretty in Pink when I was younger, just these characters are a little bit older than high school. Well at least one of them is. Regan, a Southie, from one of roughest neighborhoods in Boston. Jeremy, a rich California guy, fell in love with Boston when he was in college. Jeremy grows so much during this story it’s wonderful to see unfold. He’s definitely a surprising character at moments. Regan was frustrating at times. I understood why it had to be that way though. She grew as well but I think Jeremy’s character grew more throughout the book. Again I loved it and it’s a wonderful story for anyone who likes this kind of romance.

This story proves fairy tales and happily ever after’s truly exist!. 2 people driven and fueled by everything but love end up enraptured by each other. Not expecting to feel what they do or have an attraction they can’t shake this love story takes on many dynamics. The characters are amazing and the growth as the book progresses makes you love them all the more. Regan and Jeremy took us on a rocky road to love with raw emotions and difficult obstacles. Complete opposites, but the only ones for each other. This was a delightful story that you will not forget.

This was a rollercoaster romantic read! Regan is strong, independent and sometimes hard headed to a fault. Then there’s Jeremy who thinks he has everything he wants. Then their paths cross and everything changes. This story is a whirlwind and I was just along for the ride! Then add in the steamy scenes and it makes for a great read. I really enjoyed the writing style and reading from both perspectives. Will definitely be reading more from this author!!

This is a story about a girl growing up on the wrong side of the tracks, in Boston. She has grown up in poverty and around crime her whole life but was determined to get out of this situation. Well, she never realized that day was coming sooner than later when she meets Jeremy and they are instantly drawn to each other. Jeremy is a COO of a big time company, who went to college in Boston and fell in love with this city. After a recent breakup, Jeremy wasn’t looking for anything serious, but there was something about this “Southie” that he couldn’t deny himself of. He pursues her until she agrees to go on a date with him. This “date” turns into one of the best nights of her life and the beginning of their love story. However, how could this ever work, a poor girl with nothing and a man who has everything, with a family that wants no part of her. Can they make it work? Will money and hidden family secrets get in the way? Will his family force them apart? Or will their love conquer all? I just fell so much in love with this book. The characters were dynamic and jumped off the page. It made it so easy for me to feel like I was a part of the story. There were times that I literally was laughing, crying, and feeling completely heart broken. The way I was so pulled into the story and having all these feelings told me that this book was very well written by this author. Not to mention the amount of smut in this book!!! Oh my goodness, it was so good! It was an easy read and I couldn’t put it down.

What a cute and short BWWM romance set in Georgia. 🥰 The headstrong attitude of Zenni is very respectable but we have to pick our battles! Zenni and Colton end up feuding over a plantation that Zenni’s ancestors were slaves to and it’s one underhanded blow after another. I have to admit, the lengths they went to was entertaining. The romance was well written but it happened too quick for it to be believable for me, but I could just be jaded.
This was a great read! I was fully immersed from the beginning and could hardly put it down. It was enthralling, sexy, steamy, emotional, heartbreaking and just about everything in between! This is the first novel that I’ve read from this author that I can recall and I absolutely was not disappointed. If you enjoy enthralling romance novels then this one is for you! I can’t wait to read more from this author in the future!

Until There Was You by G. Colgrove is a Romance story that once I started reading I couldn’t stop. This is a fairly new author to me and I definitely plan on going to check out what other books they have written . This is about Reagan and Jeremy. These two are from completely opposite sides of the tracks. He’s working really hard to prove to his father he’s capable of running/taking over the family business and she’s very determined to better her life. These two first meet at the diner where Reagan works as a waitress. The chemistry is definitely there and they are both very attracted to one another . Can these two have a future together or will it end before it even gets started? I highly recommend reading this to find out what happens next . I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Easy to fall into and read from start to finish. Characters are ones that are (mostly) easy to love and feel invested in. Very fast read and so enjoyable.
Regan Doyle just graduated from high school…and no one in her family came to observe it. Oh well, she didn’t expect anything different, anyway. All she wants now is to save up the money to be able to flee South Boston – there’s nothing here for her beyond her job waiting tables and she is only keeping that until she can get out of town. Even if she wanted to stay, she won’t be able to afford any of it since it is all being gentrified.
One day she meets Jeremy Stone, a gorgeous businessman who is a part of the group leading the gentrification project. His goal has always been to take over the family business, by proving to his father he has what it takes. One day, he and several investors walk into a restaurant for lunch and he meets Regan.
Will they both meet their goals? Have their goals changed since meeting one another? Will they find a new happiness together, or will it be yanked away?

Ever have a book just suck you in at the very beginning and then refuse to let you go? That is what this book did to me and I couldn’t tell you what it was that did it.
Regan broke my heart from the start. Born and raised on the South side of Boston which is notoriously a tough place to grow up and even harder to leave. Her family wasn’t what she deserved but she didn’t let that stop her from accomplishing her goals.
Jeremy life is the exact opposite. Only child with very successful parents never wanted for anything. I know opposites tend to attract but they were polar opposites.
The passion between them was intense from the very beginning. And it really seemed to be enough until it wasn’t.
Bed time is my usual reading time and I may have stayed up a lot too late reading this book. I felt like I couldn’t get enough.

This former lovers to enemies finding their way back to love again story was very good. The HEA comes back into town after being gone for 10 years for a funeral and runs into his former girlfriend. Both he and she are mad at past situations and don’t want to forgive each other, but a will stipulations won’t let them walk away. There’s great character development and the story line is good. Will be on the lookout for the next in this series.

I enjoyed the writing style and I felt connected to the characters. I became completely invested in Jeremy and Regan’s relationship. Both of them don’t want or need any distractions because they are working toward their future but their chemistry is hard to deny. This book has romance, struggles, family, and emotion. I highly recommend this book, you don’t want to miss out.

This story definitely drew me in and I had a hard time putting it down when life demanded. Jeremy and Regan both have goals they are after and no time for that pesky thing like attraction. Sometimes it sneaks up on you and it was a great time watching these two well developed characters navigate it all. It’s story had me hooked from start to finish and I really enjoyed my time in Regan and Jeremy’s world. This is a new to me author and I’m definitely looking forward to more. Four big stars and highly recommended!

Everwood County Plantation: BWWM Enemies-to-Lovers Billionaire Romance was the first I’ve read by Stacy-Deanne. This short romance story was a quick afternoon read for me and I could not put it down. The chemistry buildup between the two main characters, billionaire Colton and florist Zenni, was hot and intense. They both feel attracted to one another instantly, but they are rivals on the matter of tearing down the Everwood plantation. Zenni feels that this plantation is all she has left of her family and wants to preserve its history. Colton wants to use his money to tear down the plantation and remove the physical reminder of the pain and suffering of the people who were enslaved there. Because of this, Zenni and Colton struggle to allow their love to prevail and blossom over this disagreement. Can they put their own feelings of the plantation’s future aside and see what is in front of them? Read and find out!
First things first, if you aren’t into risque reads this book will not be for you. The story is so good though and not my normal read but I could not put it down once I started. I love how the author writes each chapter from either Regan or Jeremy. It kept the story flowing and you get both sides of their journey and history without getting lost in the details. I found myself wanting more once it was over. There are parts of this book that are relatable to many people, the relationship and family struggles. There is so much emotion in the writing that I found myself crying right along with Regan and being angry right along with her and Jeremy.
When Regan needed Jeremy the most he was there, even tho she didn’t know she needed him or wanted him there at that time. Their story captures your heart even with all the sex its a great story. One that pulls on your heartstrings because Regan is essentially a local going nowhere based on her last name and where she lives. No one expects more out of her. She even says at one point that fairytales don’t exist and love like theirs isn’t real.
This story really shows that true love can overcome the hardest of obstacles and family drama. I was so glad when Phillip told Jeremy about the real reason Regan left. He’s such a great friend to Regan and even Jeremy at the end. To risk his lifelong friendship to tell Jeremy the truth.

This book was great! I enjoyed the passion between Zenni and Colton! This was short lovely well written story. I enjoyed every page. This is great, quick, page flipping read!
This story follows Jeremy and Regan and is 402 pages in length. All Regan wants to do is get out of her town. Jeremy needs to show his dad that he can run the family business. What happens is they end up being a distraction to each other. Regan wants leave and Jeremy wants to run the business. Did Cupid just throw a wrench in their plans? I loved the different POV’s from the characters as it gives more insight into them.

This is a new author for me, but I had some friends to recommend it, so I decided to give it a go. I was highly surprised by how steamy and descriptive this book was with the sexual scenes. Not that it was bad, but it’s just not my normal cup of tea. I thought the writer did an amazing job writing from the characters points of view in each chapter. That was a new idea to me, but I loved how it worked out. I thought it made for a unique telling of the storyline. I loved these characters. I feel like they could be friends of my own. Once I read a few chapters it was a quick paced story. If you like steamy, sizzling adult romance books then this is perfect for you.

This is my first-time reading CJ Warrant, and it is a great way to start off a series. I don’t usually read books without a supernatural something in it, but this one was good. I was hooked to the well written characters in this book. It was hard for me to put down. This book is full of twists that I couldn’t wait to see where it was going to go. I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next with Deacon and Olivia. This book does have triggers, but this author has a well written storyline. I will definitely be on the look out for the next installment to this series.

Until There Was You by G. Colgrove. This is my first book by this author but it most certainly won’t be my last. This is a fast paced, steamy, love story about Regan who is a South Boston resident who wants nothing more than to get out of there. The only person that is really there for her is her boss at the diner. Jeremy ends up coming in for lunch one day and she is not really attracted to him because the group he is with leaves a lousy tip. Jeremy is smitten with Regan and after some repeated attempts to ask her out she finally gives in. From their first date they are together constantly. Jeremy doesn’t really need the distraction but Regan is like a drug to him. Will Jeremy stay with Regan when he finds out about her family? Read Until there was you to find out!
