I literally just finished this book and I RAN to do this review!! Wow!! This is the first I’ve read of this author so I have nothing else to base it on, but I can tell you I’m about to start digging up everything she’s written so far. This book was so good! Grace REALLY needs to move out of her apartment she shares with her roommate and move quick. She responds to the ad from the guy across the hall looking for a roommate. In exchange for living with him rent free, he wants someone to just cook him dinner at HIS expense. That’s a pretty sweet sounding deal! After meeting with the gorgeous guy (Ian) and going over all of the rules and expectations she agrees. The chemistry is there from the beginning and it slowly grows between the two. They both have some skeletons in their closets, but the mystery of what happened just adds that much more anticipation to the book. I’m telling you this book has it all, the spice, the sweetness, sadness and pain, but really the author did it in the best way. I can’t compliment this book enough. And don’t even get me started on the huge surprise at the end! I didn’t see that coming!! I will be buying this in paperback thank you very much! All I can say is READ.IT.NOW.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

From the moment I read the description of this book I knew I had to read it. It was such an intense and intriguing blurb. The Book itself did not disappoint. I was pulled into the story and had to find out what was going on. The author creates a great story with some truly interesting characters. As the first book that I had read by this author I thought it were a strong introduction. A brilliant book and I am looking forward to discovering more.

This was my first book by this author so I wasn’t sure what to expect but my goodness it far exceeded my expectations. I was quickly pulled in to the storyline, the chemistry between the main characters was off the charts and could easily be felt through the pages, which of course was highly entertaining.

I loved how this storyline felt really well rounded, there was plenty of drama and trauma to keep me entertained and feeling invested into how their relationship was going to play out, and I really couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out.

I can’t wait to read more from this phenomenal author asap!!

This is a romance that I fell in love with. Layla is a personal assistant to Max, real estate agent and local cad. She dreams of being an artist. Her idol is Diablo, a comic book hero drawn by Vic Williams. She loves the strength and confidence Diablo shows. Turns out, Layla is a badass creator herself and creates a cosplay costume of Diablo that has even Vic Williams and Daisy Jones themselves noticing her. She and Vic start a long distance romance. Can this work? This was a fantastic book. Having a plot around a Cosplay convention was such a fun story because, as I mentioned, Layla doesn’t realize she is strong and confident. She tends to feel self-conscious around what social media says. I can relate. Long distance relationships are hard and can be a struggle so this was totally relatable. Vic and Layla did a good job of building the friendship but Alex would throw wrenches in the mix. The plot twists were great. They fit into the story just right. Well-written, lots of romance and adventure, and so much fun. I would definitely give this book more than a 5 if I could. I hope the author will do more romance along the cosplay line. Fantastic!!!!!

Rhyann came to New York from Kansas to go dancing school. She got the chance of a lifetime scholarship. Mason is a Titan of Manhattan. These two meet up at a nightclub and it’s an explosion of chemistry. Rhyann’s roommate gets her a job at Mason’s club as a stripper so she can make some money for school. Mason falls for her and that throws a wrench in the works. Oh my goodness, the spice is hot and sexy. The romance is fun and entertaining for the most part. Because of the job and being a strip club, there are some issues. But can Rhyann and Mason work through this? These two are perfect for each other if they would accept it. The author creates really interesting characters that feel like they are people you may have crossed paths with. They are very relatable. You have friends, enemies and just plain schmucks.

I enjoyed this cute romance story. This is a new author for me which I enjoyed and look forward to reading more in the future. I found this book to be a well written story where the characters pulled me into the story from the beginning. They are unique characters that are not only relatable but also have great chemistry throughout. I also enjoyed watching their growth as well. This is a fast paced story that is engaging and is hard to put down. A story that is full of romance with a superhero but also a second chance at love. I really enjoyed this story and what the characters brought to the story. There is great plot growth which makes the story easy to read. This is an entertaining story that brought different emotions throughout. A really enjoyable story that I highly recommend.

This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up and have enjoyed reading from their first book. One of the things I enjoy most about this author is their ability to pull me into the story from the beginning. The story is well written and the characters pop off the pages. This story is no different. It is an engaging story that is fast paced and the characters bring the story to life on each page. I enjoyed the characters’ chemistry as well as their growth throughout the story. They bring suspense as well as heating up the pages. Rhyann is determined to follow her dream and fill her goals. What will happen when her life suddenly changes. She finds herself in a world of temptation, lust, and seduction. Mason is a club owner who has two rules, never mix work with pleasure and always keep sex casaul. This seems to work for him until he hires Rhyann as a dancer. As the story goes, he is pulled by his past and she is pulled by her future but together they create a bond that cannot be resisted. What happens with these two, you need to read this story to find out. Their story is worth the pick up for sure. They truly made the story for me. I highly recommend this book and this author.

Wow the author has done it again! I have been entranced in this series and was sad when I finished this book as it means that I finished a wonderful story! In this book, the story is focused on Mason and Rhyann. Mason is another successful man who owns a nightclub who is used to getting what he wants. Rhyann is a girl who has had a hard life who needs money and fast. Who would have thought that a one-night stand would change everything? This is the start of their story, and it is steamy, wonderful and a great read! I highly recommend reading this book if you love great romance stories!!

I really enjoyed this fast paced romance. The author does an amazing job with the characters. It’s a real fairytale romance of a poor girl finding a rich guy and all the ups and downs they need to go through to be together. I really loved Regan’s character. She is a young girl who hasn’t got the best family life but who is determined to change and make.her future better. You really feel her emotions, and her embarrassment about her family and where is comes from is evident from the beginning.
When Jeremy and wealthy business man walks into the diner that Regan works at there is an instant connection but Regan isn’t prepared to open up to him straight away.
What follows is a story about 2 people finding out that they aren’t so different and that just because you have money doesn’t change the person you are.
Jeremy is always kind and respectful to Regan. The emotions from him are feelings of attraction but also caring as he gets to know her and her story.

However things aren’t all rosey and when Jeremy’s parents find out that he us dating a girl who is less than acceptable for their son things start to get confusing as Regan and Jeremy fight to prove that others are wrong and what they feel is real and true.

5 stars!

Wonderful! This was an excellent fairytale style story, something I haven’t read before. If I were Cathal it would be hard to forgive my grandmother for the suffering growing up, but Cathal is an amazing human and could understand her reasons and still loved her and cherished her. I love Cathal and Eala as a couple, they are super sweet, kind, caring and just all around great people or magical creatures and deserve every bit of happiness, especially with how they have both lived thus far. Eala enslaved to the king for years and Cathal always getting punished in place of his evil brother. The way the story flowed so nicely and everything came together in the end, it truly read like a fairytale. I highly recommend for any romance and fairytale lover.

Love’s Full Circle by Cherry Christensen – Review by Jenni Bishop

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is a clean Christian romance story where lost love has the chance to become more once again. The writing is good, and the premise is to, but I couldn’t really connect with the characters. They were together in high school and him being a hormonal teenager wanted more but she stuck to her guns (good girl), and he moved on. I wanted to smack him.
Years later coming face to face with their past he knows he made a mistake and wants to fix things. He wants to see if they can make things work now as adults. She is his one that got away after all. However, she is unforgiving and unable to let go of the past. I don’t condone what he did, but they were kids when she was hurt and I understand her hurt BUT she is and adult now, but she doesn’t act like it. I really wanted to smack her too at times.
All in all, I was really frustrated with the way these two were regarding their relationships past and present, but the writing is good.
There is a message in this second chance romance to believe in yourself and know your morals but there is also room for forgiveness.
Just because it didn’t gel for me doesn’t mean you should not give it a go especially if you love clean romance stories.

Dr. Magi lives her life at full blast. Whether its work or men she never does anything at a half measure. This book takes us through her life and the decisions made on hospital floor as well as the bedroom. This story reflects Stella has a woman who works hard and plays hard. Its romantic, dramatic, and speaks to the woman in all of us. I loved this story and I am eager for what’s next.

This was a great 5 star read. I made the mistake of starting it during my lunch hour and I couldn’t wait to get back to it. The author does a great job with her writing.

Regan is a southie, she has just graduated high school and her home life isn’t the greatest. Her boss at the diner is the only person that has really been there for her the last few years. While working at the diner some suits come in for lunch, this is where she meets Jeremy for the first time. As a server, I know the feeling that she had when they left her the lousy tip and loved it when he overheard her comment.

There is something about Regan that pulls Jeremy in. He finally convinces her to go on a date with him and with a twist of fate they end up starting their date a little earlier than expected.
Things move forward fairly quickly for these two. Regan isn’t ready to open up to Jeremy about her family, what will happen when he learns the truth? How will Jeremy’s family feel about Regan and where she comes from?

Overall this was a great read. I loved Regan and how sassy she could be, she was great for Jeremy. I also fell for Jeremy right along with Regan, I loved his honesty and how sweet he was with Regan. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story as well. If you’re looking for a great romance than 1-click and get started today on this one, you will be pulled right in. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Kiss of the Swan by Natalina Reis – Review by Amy Brennan

Kiss of the SwanKiss of the Swan by Natalina Reis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This retelling of this combination of fairy tales was an interesting read, to say the least. I had yet to read anything by this author and was curious as I had heard plenty of positive reviews regarding her previous written works. I am quite glad that I did, as she is very apt in the art of creating a beautiful world, Swan Island, and building up the characters who we follow through this romance, being Cathal, Odhran, their grandmother, Cara, Eala, and her beautiful Swan family. “No good deed ever goes wasted,” (Harold S. Kushner) comes to mind while reading this novel, as Cathal is the kindest soul you could ever imagine, and saved Eala a decade ago who was in the form of her swan at the time, and neither of them had forgotten those couple of fateful weeks where he nursed her back to health, putting his own on the line.

Overall, I did enjoy this story quite a bit, however, I did find it to be very slow going at times, and there were a couple of times that the same thoughts and ideas were brought forward, making it a little long winded. The family ties, chosen and blood, and the inner turmoil felt throughout the story line was endearing, and elicited feelings of sadness, heartbreak, hope, and love, and I love when fairy tales are told in a different light than the original. I am excited to see if this author visits more fairy tales in the future and will be reading more by her soon. Very good read!

This book was a sweet second chance romance. I enjoyed this read. It was a nice change of pace.

Kayden and Liam have a past. A past in which Liam was quite a jerk. Kayden is happy with her life. She’s happy with her career. She can help people have the happy ending she didn’t get. Liam knows he messed up. It’s his one regret. Now that they are working in the same city, this is his chance to work for forgiveness and get Kayden back. It’s not nearly as easy as he had hoped and she’s not willing to trust him after their past. Will Kayden find it in her heart to forgive Liam or is the past too much to overcome?

I really enjoyed this book. Liam really was a jerk at first but I think he did well at redeeming himself. Forgiveness isn’t easy and Kayden was entitled to her pain. This book was very well written and I’m glad I picked it up.

Kayden and Liam are heart meltingly adorable together. I absolutely love the idea that Kayden wants to save herself for marriage while she’s in high school and when the book picks up 15 years later she is still holding firm to her beliefs. It’s such a refreshing change to see virtue celebrated as special, what’s even better is that Liam has realized how much he hurt Kayden back in high school and wants to make it better. He doesn’t only want to make amends, he wants her back. Kayden feels the familiar tug but is so scared to let her guard down and let him back in. This is a beautiful love story about faith, personal beliefs, true love and second chances. People really can mature and become better people if they’re just given the chance. This is one sweet, inspirational love story that you won’t want to miss.

This is a sweet story about second chances. Kayden’s first love, Liam, walked away when she wouldn’t pursue a physical relationship with him, staying true to her faith. When they reconnect years later, the flame is still alive, but can Kayden ever trust Liam again?

The author writes a sweet, clean story reflecting true connection between characters. Even in a shorter story, the author develops the characters and their relationship well. It was a fast, enjoyable read!

I personally really love second chance romances, so when I saw this beautiful cover and read the synopsis I knew right away that I needed to read this book. The writer has a wonderful writing style and the characters were terrific. However, I did get a little annoyed with how our leading lady acts at certain times in the book. Liam and Kayden used to be high school sweethearts, but what happens when he renters her life fifteen years later? Will Kayden be able to see that he’s a different man then the boy he was fifteen years ago? Or will she let the past define her future? You’ll have to read this wonderful second chance romance to find out for yourself.

“Doctor in the Outback” written by Nicole Flockton is the third book in the Welcome to Bunya Junction, but the first that I have read. In need of some assistance, Scott, a small town doctor, hires an obstetrician named Franceen. She has recently moved into town following a life altering loss, and desires to focus solely on her career. Scott and Franceen start as professional co-workers, ignoring the attraction they feel towards one another. They both have a lot of issues from their past that they’re dealing with, and the story follows them as they begin to find healing. I loved the character development and the setting of this story! Yall, if you haven’t checked out this author you really should! Especially if you are a lover of all things Grey’s Anatomy and ER type shows like I am myself. I love medical dramas and these books take all the things I love about those and the tropes I love in my book world and mixes them together to make the best reads that take me away and I love every single minute of it. When I open one I know I am going to be pretty much unavailable until I find out how that book finishes so I am grateful they are not huge novels that I can consume fairly fast for myself. This one was so fun because it brought the lovers triangle to the forefront and did a wonderful job of it as well. I was consumed with Stella’s story and her journey to find that love and the right fit for her. I won’t be divulging any deets for that you will have to read yourself but I can promise it will be a steamy one you won’t want to put down! I can’t wait to see what we will get next!

Doctor in the Outback (Welcome to Bunya Junction Book 3)

I have been looking forward to this book since finishing the last and I wasn’t disappointed.   There is something about finding love in the Outback that I have enjoyed.

Scott has watched his twin and younger brother find love and was ready for it to be his turn but didn’t expect to find it in such a remote area.

Franceen held on to the pain and guilt for too long and was okay with being on her own, at least she thought so until she stops fighting her feelings.

This was a great book to get lost in and enjoy.

This book was a fantastic read and one of my new favorites that I have read in a long time. The male character, Caspian, is a strong character who works hard for what he wants. When his uncle is dying and tells him that you either do what I want, or you lose your place in the company this changes the course of the story. While Caspian is reeling with this revelation, he runs into an old acquaintance in the hospital, literally. Paisley is at the hospital trying to come up with a way to have money that will allow her to pay for her mother’s care as she is in a constant coma since the incident. This pivotal moment between characters changes everything and starts their amazing story. If you love a good romance story that has you on the edge of your seat needing to know what is to happen with a steamy romance story unfolding, then this book is for you! Wow, when I read the description of this book, I was not prepared for the AMAZING STORY that was to unfold. Dr. Stella is a successful surgeon who likes to live life to the fullest and does not bat an eye while she dates three successful coworkers. Each man brings a different great quality that Stella sees in them and that is why she sees all three. But when things take a shocking turn, now the men are wondering who will win her heart and be the one for her. Will it be Marcus Doyle, the extreme playboy, Joel Glazier her friends with benefits or will it be the super sensitive, sweet guy Alex Casserty? The second book cannot get here fast enough as I need to know what will happen and who Stella will choose.
