I always enjoy picking up a book by this author as I am never quite sure what I am going to get. Her books are all so varied and different it makes it really exciting. This book was a brilliant Fantasy story that draws you in slowly but surely. It builds up, I trouncing you to everything and creating a well imagined Book.
I looked how diverse the characters were, each with their own part to play. The book had death and a complexity to it that I thought made it even better. This was a brilliant book to read and I am already excited to see whatever book comes from this author next.

This has been a fantastic series so far and this one is definitely my favourite to date. The characters are just brilliant. I found them sp easy to connect with and I was pulled into their story instantly. The book felt very much a part of the series but for me did stand out on its own.
The author has created a strong and entertaining series. Each book adds more to it and I am always excited to read the next. I am looking forward to what else is to come.

I read this book in an afternoon! It’s an incredible, but not basic, romance story! The author did a wonderful job of giving us realistic characters who face twists and turns throughout the story. Jeremy and Regan had such a good connection and I kept wanting to read more. If you like contemporary romance novels, I suggest this book!

This story follows Ian and Grace and is 329 pages in length. Holy cow!! When Grace needs to move, she responds to a room mate wanted ad. Rent free and all she had to do is cook for him on his dime. Too good to be true? Maybe – maybe not (insert shoulder shrug). He is hot, but she seriously does want to get involved right now. Yet the chemistry between them is too much to ignore. But what will come falling out of the closet when the door is opened?

Whew! This story has so much to offer! All the feels, *spicy* time, angst, suspense, twists and turns…you name it, Anise Storm delivers! Absolutely loved the way the author not only develops the characters independent of each other, but also the way she develops and moves the plot along at such a natural pace. This book is very well written. She also gives little bread crumbs into the lives of the other Titans which leaves the reader wanting to know more about them.
Mason is a powerhouse in Manhattan and Rhyann is a small town girl from Kansas chasing her dreams of dance in NYC. The attraction between Rhyann and Mason is electric from the beginning. An anonymous one-night stand turns into more when Rhyann and Mason realize who the other is when she applies for a job dancing at one of Mason’s clubs. The sparks continue to fly even though both are trying to stay away from the other. Rhyann is looking toward the future while Mason is stuck in the past. Definitely a fast-paced read, but Storm doesn’t rush anything!
While this is book 3 in the series, it can be read as a stand alone. Anise Storm has definitely been added of my list of authors to read!

I really loved this story, it was such a pleasure to read. This is a new to me author and I really enjoyed her writing style. I loved the characters Grace and Ian, they were both relatable and they really did have a lovely and genuine connection. I did feel for both characters and their won individual stories, the author did an amazing job with their character development. I loved the plot too, so easy to follow and the perfect pace.
Overall I absolutely LOVED this book and would highly recommend it to other readers!

This was the first book I’ve read from this author. It was a good book, definitely a slow burn. Both main characters have pasts that they would rather keep hidden. Grace is more open than Ian. Ian is tall, dark, hot and mysterious. He is also the arrogant man that we all hate to love.

Oh these Titans have me hooked! Strong powerful characters who have their hearts awakened by equally strong women. It is just so much fun to see these guys fall and fall hard.
This time it is Mason who will fall for the beautiful Rhyann. Their attraction is immediate and burns hot, a nameless one night stand follows and that is it… or so they thought. Next thing you know Rhyann is applying for a job and guess who the boss is…her super hot one night stand!! At first the last thing Mason wants to do is employ her but decides to give her a chance. Maybe that will help kill his attraction because he never gets involved with employees. Of course Mason fights it with all his might but eventually he gives in to the fact that the heart wants what the heart wants!!
This is such a creative, well written story where you are drawn into the world of the characters and feel their emotions just as much as they do. I can’t wait to read the next Titans downfall!

Rhyann has everything she has ever dreamed of, a scholarship to one of the renown Ballet Schools in the country, but as she get there and starts her studies she is becoming increasingly worried about the costs raising from moving to New York.

So when her roommate suggests for extra money pole dancing at a local club, she decides it the best option for her to do what she loves, dancing and earn extra money.

Mason is one of the biggest people in New York, he owns a successful club and is consider one of the most eligible bachelors there is, he can have his pick of any girl/women who throws themselves at him but one night he is attracted to one of the new dancers but she seems familiar to him. It is only when he comes face to face with her does he realise its the woman he had one night with and can not get out of his head.

But it is wise mixing business with pleasure?

This is not the first book I have read by this author and oh my this will not be the last, although this book is part of a series you each book is it’s own stand alone story but if I was you and go nd read them all as you will not be disappointed.

I love the way the book unfolds and weaves through the budding relationship and with the realisation that these two people are destined to be together. The character in all the books are well developed and offer a great depth and another element to the story. The chemistry between the two characters is off the page and I love the way you uncover the romance with each turn of the page.

The two main characters are written in a way that they compliment each other, with the secondary characters adding another layer to the story. I really enjoyed the character of Rhyann as a fierce independent women trying to make her own way through the city it was just a refreshing read.

I can not wait for the next instalment as to be fair anything written by this author is gold.

Until There Was You by G. Colgrove is a contemporary romance with an opposites attract element, chemistry, emotion, humour, drama, family dynamics, snobbery, obstacles, and plenty of sizzle.
Regan doesn’t believe in fairytale romances- they are just make-believe. She has her sights on accomplishing her goals and nothing will get in her way…
Jeremy also has his sights set on achieving his dream of proving he is ready to take over the family business….
What happens when fate throws these two together? Will their focus on fulfilling their goals cost them a chance at love? This is definitely worth the read to find out.
Happy reading!

Seductively Yours is the third book in the Titans of Manhattan series by Anise Storm. I know I keep saying this, but the series really does get better with each new release.
This story is a hot and steamy contemporary romance with plenty of sizzling chemistry, angst, emotion, and much more. I jumped right in as soon as this book hit my Kindle and didn’t come up for air until I had devoured every word.
I loved Mason and Rhyann- I was completely invested in them and the outcome of their story right from the beginning. Even though there were times I wanted to shake them and tell them to get their act together- I might have yelled that at my Kindle a few times- I really did love their story. I can’t wait to find out more about the other Titans as they get their own books!
Fantastic series!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A twisty romantic fantasy Fairytale which combines three fairy tales together, the sleeping beaty, the twelve swans and The whipping boy. A witch curses the king and his heir because she did not get what she wanted. The boy is sent to live with an old woman and her boy, who believes the prince was his brother. He is the whipping boy who takes the beating for the prince, the one who secretly tends to a magic swan whom his brother wounded, and finally ends up rescuing a sleeping beauty whom he falls in love with and eventually lives happily ever after.

This book is like a recap of many fairy tales. There are twists and turns, but overall you can relate back to the original fairy tales. I enjoyed the book.

Eala is a lovely character, beautiful, thoughtful, brave, and loyal. When the Queen of the Swans meets Cathal, she is drawn to him immediately, and bit by bit, his goodness draws her in. But being with him could mean the end of the lives of all of the swans. Can she find a way to protect her people and her heart? I thoroughly enjoyed this little book. It all of the elements and feel of a good fantasy fairy tale, and was easy to read and appreciate. The story flowed well, and I was invested in the characters. Also, the cover art is gorgeous! A solid read.

I am truly hooked with this series and these Titans of men. This is a fantastic read. This story is a whole lot of sexy and steamy, sizzling and thrilling and enticing happening that makes it hard to set aside. There are a lot of emotions and times of angst. It makes it easy to become invested in the characters and their stories. I love a story that is told from several POV’s because you get a much deeper concept for who the characters are.
Mason has a strict policy that works well for him and what he wants but a temptress steps through his doors that puts all the others to shame.
I have read many of Anise’s books and I have enjoyed each one immensely.

Cathal spent the majority of his life taking the fall for his younger brother. Years of taking the blame and the punishments and the cruelty never got any better. One day Cathal’s brother decided to hunt the royal swans that were forbidden to be hunted. When Cathal caught wind of what his brother was thinking he went after him. Cathal was afraid of finding an injured Swan. Unfortunately that is exactly what he found. Cathal nursed the swan back to health and set her free.

Years later, Cathal’s brother decided to finish what he started and made his way to Swan Island. Cathal of course followed. Once on the island Cathal is attacked by a hoard of swans and when he awakens he meets the Queen of the Swans named Eala.

Eala is a prisoner on the island, enslaved by the King. Her passion to protect her people is what keeps her there. After meeting Cathal she starts to rethink the future of both herself and her people. Is there a way to get off this island and live freely like they so deserve.

Meanwhile there are a few secrets that can make or break everything Eala and Cathal are building towards said future.

The author took two classic fairy tales and put their own spin on things. It was very exciting to read. As a child I loved fairy tales and this was an adult version of two mashed together! I would highly recommend reading this fairy tale!

This is a fast paced story with a dual POV that helps you get into the mindset of the characters as they face their very different day to day lives.  You get to see how the other ½ lives so to speak.  Regan, despite being from the worst part of the city, has still dreamed and is trying to make her life better.  While Jeremy is busy trying to prove to his father that he can run the family business.  Neither of them really needs a distraction but their instant chemistry is undeniable.  This is the first chance I’ve gotten to read G Colgrove, but I really enjoyed this romance story, and will definitely be checking out more of her work.  She has constructed a realistic story in a real world setting that has intriguing primary and secondary characters.  I really enjoyed this book and hope the author gives us more, possibly a story about her bff. If you want a fun read with characters that feel so real they could be your best friends then I highly recommend this book.

I knew I needed to disappear into something good and this was a new author with promising reviews and a gorgeous cover so I figured why not. My rating: 3 of 5 stars

A whirlwind romance develops between real estate agent Elsa and movie star Anton in the second book of this series. While I didn’t find it as exciting to read as the first book, it was still a good story overall. There was some repetitiveness of the book’s title that got a bit obnoxious for me, and it seemed to contain a lot more intimate scenes than its predecessor, which I found to be a bit excessive at times, but I’m not sure it’s right to complain about such things in a romance novel.

The storyline was unexpected and interesting, though. Every time I thought it was going to head in one direction, I got thrown for a bit of a loop. Grueling work schedules, and physical distance while Anton films the latest blockbuster in the making, threaten to divide the couple; they also face some issues with communication and their past that they must overcome if they intend to stay married after a super rocky first year of marriage. Complications in their relationship only multiply when Anton takes the leading role in romantic comedy at a dark time for Elsa, and the pair faces problems that are both serious and not atypical for real-life couples.

While the themes felt realistic overall, especially the darker parts of the story, it’s still a romance novel with lots of flourishing steaminess.

I don’t know where to begin. Powerful, strong women going after their dreams. Crazy hot, sexy men that are captains of their industry. Steamy, lustful relationships between the two. This author has me wrung out again. Just when you think Rhyann and Mason are going to find the happiness they both deserve, a twist, a turn, a detour comes out of the blue!

Rhyann came to Manhattan to follow her dream of being a dancer. She was accepted and received a full scholarship at an elite dance academy. One night when she is out clubbing with her roommate who has given Rhyann the advice to ‘just have fun’, Rhyann acts out of character and flirts with a stranger that started dancing with her. The stranger and Rhyann share a hot but anonymous encounter. When Rhyann goes back to the same club applying for a job, she discovers her anonymous encounter is the club owner, Mason. Mason hasn’t stopped thinking about his encounter with Rhyann (now he knows her name) since it happened but he knows that it won’t happen again if he hires her. Mason almost doesn’t give her the job because of this.

As Mason’s past and Rhyann’s future throw roadblocks to their relationship, Mason and Rhyann just try to find ways to survive without each other. Their pull towards each other is undeniable.

Ahhh-mazing!!! Fantastic! Delicious! Wonderful!! I absolutely love this series. This author never lets me down. I wait on pins and needles for the next Titan!!

Book 3 in the Titans of Manhattan Series had me just as captivated as the first book. Rhyann is a college student and life-long dancer who wants to pursue a career in her passion. It looks like her dreams are coming true after getting accepted into dance school in Manhattan with a full scholarship. Mason is a wealthy “titan,” owning swanky clubs all over the world, and one of NYC’s most eligible bachelors with no intention of changing that anytime soon. A chance encounter in his newest Manhattan club has the two hooking up for a one-night stand with no names exchanged, but both can’t seem to shake the other from their minds. When Rhyann’s roommate convinces her to take a job at the same club, dancing for fast cash, she discovers not only the name of the guy, but that he’s going to be her new boss. While both internally fight their growing attraction, and are unsuccessful at hiding their true feelings from those closest to them, Mason contemplates breaking his own rules and Rhyann struggles with adjusting to her grueling school and work schedules. It’s a good balance of steam, build-up, and struggle.

This is the 3rd book in a series that I’ve loved so far. I have read several of this author’s books and have always really enjoyed them and this book was no different. Each book in this series can be read as a standalone, although the main characters from other books do make an appearance.
I really enjoyed this book. The writer had me gripped from the very beginning and kept me engaged and entertained throughout, leaving me wanting more of Mason and Rhyann. I loved both of these characters. They couldn’t be any more different: from their upbringings to their current lifestyles. But, as they say, opposites attract and these 2 are attracted to each other from the first time they set eyes on each other.
I really like this author’s writing style. The story flows very well and there is plenty of action, most of a very hot and steamy nature, to keep you wanting to read more.
I really look forward to reading more of this great series and especially seeing what the author has in store for Jonas in the next book.

I’m already anxiously awaiting the next book in this series! I have read the first three so far and all of them could be read as stand-alone books. However, I really enjoy having the full family history! I feel like I’ve been able to get to know this family pretty well and we’d all get along just great.

Dr. Scott Caruthers is busy running his hospital as well as setting up his new foundation. He’s finding he needs more help and that’s where Dr. Franceen Lewis comes in. She’s the OB for the hospital and it’s a good thing because Scott’s twin sister, Sindy, is pregnant. Scott wants to focus on being the best uncle and not having to worry about being a doctor to his sister.

Sparks start flying immediately between Dr. Scott and Dr. Franceen. They keep running into each other and now he’s concerned about Dr. Franceen’s reactions after delivery Sindy’s babies. What’s going on with her? He’s hoping he doesn’t have to fire his new staff so soon but if she can’t get it together, they will have to look into options.

Like his other siblings, Scott works way too hard and doesn’t take a lot of time for himself. It’s starting to show and he’s afraid that his foundation may suffer for it as well. Could Dr. Franceen be the motivation he needs to get away more?

I fall more in love with this family with each passing story! Highly recommended!

Whatever in the world is a new bride doing in my pub??? Can you imagine what Jonas thought when he saw this beautiful, yet apparently heartbroken woman, rush into his business?

This story is my favorite of the three books in this series so far. This book can be read as a stand-alone but you’ll get more of Jonas’s family background by reading book 1.

Jonas is a pub owner who is dedicated to his work. He rarely takes any time off and keeps the pub open 7 days a week. Out of the blue, Pandora shows up in a wedding dress looking lost. Why is she here? Come to find out, she’s not an actual bride but Jonas, having just met her, loves what he sees. Can he open this pandora box that Pandora is showcasing? Hopefully together they can find some resolutions to the time they spend working!

I just found a new favorite author!!

Sindy Carruthers is a busy nurse working for Dr. Colin McCarthy when he faces an untimely death. Unsure of how to go about running the practice, Sindy is a world of hurt. She’s lost her confidant and her boss. She made a call to Dr. Ryan Flanigan to let him know about Dr. Colin’s accident and asked him to be there. Dr. Ryan was able to say his goodbyes to Dr. Colin. Then came the kicker….when the will was read, Dr. Ryan had a huge decision to make. Should he leave his life behind in the city to take over the practice of his mentor? He was a well-known plastic surgeon after all. What did he know about general medicine?

It doesn’t take long for sparks to fly between Dr. Ryan and nurse Sindy, but are they the right kind of sparks? Did Dr. Colin know what he was actually doing when he willed that they should run the practice together? I’d like to think that he did!

I really enjoyed this story for several reasons. It was set in Australia (I hope to visit one day), involved a doctor and a nurse, as well as a love connection. I recommend this book as well as the others in this series! I will be looking for more books by this new-to-me author to read!

I always love anything this gifted author creates and writes. This one follows in the author’s past footsteps. This one brought a new story to light and characters that you can dream about truly. I loved how the characters come to life and bring the story to be what it was meant to be.

I loved Rhyann! She was a strong characters that had dreams and goals, and most of all rules. Mason is someone who is strong and powerful as well. The two of them in the same room could literally make my kindle melt. I loved watching them interreacting together. What I loved was Rhyann and her dreams, but when you get the taste of something different, will it over power what you really thought you wanted? The book was full of suspense and very heated moments. Temptation was strong and a sweeter fruit when it came to more than one thing. Loved it. Really amazing read. Would expect nothing less!

Loved this author’s amazing writing skills. Anything that they write, I never am left disappointed. I am always on the edge of my seat with every book they write. Highly recommend this amazing author and defiantly highly recommend this amazing read. Its an adventure you do not want to miss out on!

Unchecked is the first book in the MetroGen Downtown Kiss and Tell series by Carina Alyce. This is a very steamy contemporary romance- think Grey’s anatomy on Viagra. This story definitely steamed up the screen on my Kindle with all the sexy details- then left me hanging on the edge of a mighty cliffhanger that comes with a bit of a twist.
Dr. Stella Magi might be a highly educated surgeon, but hat hasn’t prevented her from making more than a few bad decisions when it came to romance. So when she finds herself juggling three guys, as well as her medical career- things get….. interesting.
This is a short, quick, and easy read (under 200 pages). So, I zipped through the story in my lunch break. I would have loved to read a longer version of this story, with even more details to sink my teeth into.
Looking forward to finding out what happens when we get the answer to the cliffhanger.
Happy reading!

Thank you, Carina Alyce!

I enjoyed this story very much. It read much like a fairy tale romance where you rooted for that happy ending. Carthal was that prince charming and Eala was very much his princess. All obstacles that stood between them were dashed down at some point on their road to HEA.
The story itself was romantic, dramatic, and beautifully told.
