Tenacious is the book you want when you are looking for romantic adventure with some steamy romance. I had to put this one at the top of my best of 2021 Dark Romance. The chemistry between Allie and Nick was palpable. Tenacious put mildly. Allie is flat out a strong and stubborn woman who can take care of her self. Call Nick Alpha but he felt a little old-fashioned to me, which some women still like. Toss in their friends and the adventures and trafficking case; these two went through heck and they came out stronger and together. If you like your romance spice, you’ll find some in there. Muy caliente! Great book! Quick read. I couldn’t put it down once I started. I highly recommend you should read this. Come on, you know you want to….

Allie has issues that revolve around men. When Nick comes back to the States and tries to step in, she isn’t having it. It is up to him to convince her that it is in her best interests to allow him to be her security.
Opinion
Yet another great book in this series! I do wish that there was more detail to the resolution. I thought there was a gracious plenty amount of details in their love life but a lot less in the situation at hand. Overall, I thought it was a great read with a good story line. I definitely love this series.

Tenacious: Dark Billionaire Mafia Romance is book number six in the Billionaire Bodyguards series by Via Mari. Having not read the rest of the series, I can confirm that this can be read as a stand-alone story, although I’m tempted to go back now and start at the beginning.

This story is about Allie and Nick. I loved both of these characters right from the start. Their chemistry bounces off the page at you, but of course, the path of true love never runs smooth. Both are strong characters and I love how Allie can hold her own against Nick’s dominance.
This story is action-packed from the beginning and never really slows. The fast pace means I read this book super quick…I needed to know what happened next.
If you’re a fan of stories with plenty of chemistry and danger, I would definitely recommend this.

This is a romance story that I enjoyed from beginning to end. This is a newer author for me and I look forward to seeing what is next for her. This is a well written story about what happens one night between two people. Now he is faced with not wanting a relationship but finds himself not being to stay away from her. She wants him but the question is how bad and is she willing to risk her heart to him. I enjoyed how connectable they are and what they brought to the story. Their chemistry and growth throughout the story is great and made the story entertaining to read. It is a fast paced story that is hard to put down. This really was a great pick up and I highly recommend it.

Love love love… I really enjoyed this book, a lot. I haven’t read anything by Via Mari before so this book is my first and it didn’t disappoint me. Via Mari brought the story to life with her details and story building. The chemistry between the two leads Nick and Allie is so steamy it leaves you wanting more and more. Even though it is the sixth book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series I will be going back to read the previous five books.

Picked up this book not having read any of the previous books in the series. I don’t feel like it mattered too much, other than I’m interested to read a little more about the backstory of the characters; so, it definitely works as a stand-alone book, but I’m guessing would be even better if read in order.

This book is a real page-turner, having me hooked from the first chapter. ER nurse Allie links up with bodyguard Nick to help find and rescue women captured in a human trafficking ring in New York City after Nick’s security firm uncovers the nefarious activities of the men behind a previous attack on Allie and her best friend, Lexi. In the midst of keeping Allie safe from harm, Nick works to break down Allie’s defenses around her heart. It’s just a matter of time, literally, as they work to rescue the trafficked women and try to survive the attacks from the men behind it all.

Oh my hotness

This one legit has to be my favorite so far. I have fallen head over heels for this entire series. They have you on the edge of your seat and just gasping for more. Nick and Allie by far have become my favorites. Nick is the protector in every sense while Allie just wants to protect herself. You have romance and suspense all combined with action and drama. It is a whirlwind. These stories can all be stand alone but do yourself a favor and read ALL of them! Previous characters make appearances and it just adds to the story. I can not recommend this more!!

Every time Via Mari has a new book come out I know that I will be lost in her character’s world and forget about everything in mine.

Tenacious is the sixth book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series and I have fallen for another steamy alpha male. Nick and Allie’s romance and suspense had me on the edge of my seat. The question thru out this book was, can Nick and Allie each give something up to make this relationship work?

I highly recommend this book, this series, and every other book written by Via Mari. I can’t wait to read her next book.

I did not read the first books in the series, I didn’t feel as if I missed out on too much information, but after reading this book, I definitely want to go back and read the previous books. This book captured me immediately, Allie is such a strong and independent woman and watching her interactions with Nick is very sweet. It’s the same old thing, she doesn’t think he could ever fully be committed to her, he is so in love with her its ridiculous, but the communication on that front is none. I couldn’t get enough! It seems like after Allie helps Nick with saving the women she wants more of that face paced life, with action and danger, and I really look forward to seeing if she gets to pursue that. Allie and Nick are a great couple, I love the Irish theme thrown in and the romantic moments, the action, the drama, the danger, a perfect and quick read.

The Groomsman by Marina Hanna is a great contemporary romance. As with Love Unexpected Marina’s writing has had me completely captivated in her stories. Her characters are wonderful and you become very invested in them. I also love her wicked sense of humour. Although it is a quick read it has everything to keep you engrossed and engaged. I loved every minute of it. The chemistry sizzled and some very steamy scenes jumped right off the page. With lots of passion, a boatload of desire, a dash or two of sass, a few intense moments, a drop or two of angst and a little drama and some super sexy times makes for some fabulous reading.
One night forever changed everything.
Trust me and do yourself a favour and start reading Marina’s books today.

Tenacious is the 6th book in the Dark Billionaire Mafia Romance by Via Mari! I’ll admit this is actually the first book by this author I have read and I was hooked from the get go. Allie O’Conner only holds her job and her friends close. As far men go? She is not in the business of getting her heart broken so she plays it safe until she meets Nick who she describes as a blue-eyed devil. She is instantly attracted to him. Nick is used to getting anyone he wants but Allie has walls and Nick is determined to break each one down to uncover her heart. The only thing standing in their way is the men out to tie up loose ends like Allie and her best friend Lexie.

This is a fast paced book, with romance, action, suspense and real characters growth. I really enjoyed this book and will be going back to read the others! Via Mari did a wonderful job!!

Via Mari has officially made late night reading hot again! This Billionaire Bodyguard series sits you front row center with a sexy Alpha that will make your late nights very sultry and steamy. I hate to say I’m starting a series backwards, but I do look forward to reading the other books.
Via Mari went no holds barred with this book! She gave her readers all the danger, dangerous men, suspense, intrigue, lust, action, and passion that could be thrown together.
We meet Allie and Nick who’s chemistry steams up the pages. Allie is an RN and she just goes through the motions daily trying to keep her heart numb and closed. Upon meeting Nick soo many emotions flair, but more than anything she’s scared. Nick is pure Alpha and the moment he met Allie he knew she was it, and he would prove it as a lover and protector. You wont be able to help the smile you get as you watch the love flow off the pages along with the danger and drama!

So I compare this book to fifty shades of grey with the sex scenes but this book has a way better storyline. An attraction that won’t quit with nurse/ submissive Allie and bodyguard/dominant Nick. I admire how they keep roles separate as bodyguard and when Nick’s dominating Allie. Absolutely loved this book. Was an easy and fast paced book. Finished in a day cause had me hooked.

This was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning. These two and their story is my favorite so far in the series.

Allie and Nick’s chemistry was coming off the pages. My heart would flutter right along with Allies. She was an innocent woman with a wall around her heart. Nick was the strong alpha male that was determined to keep her safe and break those walls down. The more that Nick protected her she started to see a different side to him.

Will he be able to keep her safe? Will they get a HEA?

We get suspense, action, mystery and so much more in this read. It feels like you’re getting two stories in one as we also see more about the trafficking in this story. All of the characters added a great element to the story, it was nice seeing some from previous books. The author does a great job of pulling you right in with her writing. She has quickly become one of my favorites to read. This book can be read as a stand alone but I highly suggest reading from the beginning. Tenacious (Billionaire Bodyguards Book 6) by Via Mari is one of the best romantic suspense books that I have read this year. Filled with action, adventure, drama, chemistry and so much sizzle I thought my head might explode Via Mari has really put done herself. While this book can be read as a stand alone Ms. Mari brings us lots of re-accruing characters and each delicious couple is so incredible that they definitely deserve their own book. This book focuses on Nick and Allie and their fascinating, romantic and dangerous story. Nick can’t get Allie out of his mind, but is the danger gone? Will she need to be protected until the the treat is eliminated? And what will happens when tensions rise? You’ll have to read Tenacious (Billionaire Bodyguards Book 6) by Via Mari for yourself to find d out.

This is the 6th book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series and these books just keep getting better and better. These books can be read as a standalone because each book revolves around a different couples relationship but the characters make appearances in all books so for a proper understanding of the characters and their stories I suggest reading them from the beginning.

These books have the perfect combination for me, danger and excitement and hot alpha males that will do anything to protect the woman that holds their heart and their families. The passion in the story is so intense but it always leaves you wanting more.

This story follows Nick and Allie’s story. They meet in a previous book and this book continues 1 month later. With the feelings between them running high and the danger from their shared enemy still present Nick decides to return back into Allie’s life to protect her and give in to this connection between them.

There’s one problem in his plan. Allie herself. While she can’t deny the chemistry and attraction between them she doesn’t do relationships, and her job as an nurse makes even thinking of a relationship difficult.
But now they are thrust together in another dangerous situation where Allie’s life is in danger and the only person able to protect her is also the man who could break her heart and completely destroy her.

Tenacious was another great story by this incredible author, I have read lots by this author and I have yet to be disappointed! This is the sixth book in the series, a series that should be read in order. I skipped a couple books of this series because I got so excited reading this synopsis that I just couldn’t wait to read Allie’s story, and while I loved it, I think I would have enjoyed it more had I followed the series from start to finish.

I love how this storyline never has a dull moment, there’s always something that keeps me captivated and sitting on the edge of my seat. It’s intense, action-packed, dramatic and oh so steamy, a really well-rounded story.

I would absolutely recommend this book to others!

In one word, underwhelmed would be how I can describe my feelings on Via Mari’s book Tenacious, book 6 in Billionaire Bodyguards series. The main characters of Allie and Nick were just not interesting. I always appreciate character development but felt both were just lacking in this area. The overall storyline of human trafficking was decent but the storyline is only a portion of this book. I wanted to care more about the main characters involvement in the storyline but just failed to connect with them. I know this is part of a series and a number of readers will love this story. I for one struggled to continued on and was happy to finish this book and move onto a book that has more character interest.

Wow! Words are failing me at this moment to describe how intense this book was. It grabbed ahold of me and dragged me down between its covers and didn’t let go until I had absorbed every LAST WORD! I had no idea this was a series, so guess what my next week looks like? Yep I am getting all five of the previous boos and reading!
Via Mari drops you into the seedy underbelly of sex trafficking and hotter than hell Nick is right there to be the sexy smooth protector that Allie needs. This novel had it all … mystery, intrigue, adventure, a sexy sizzle and a plot thicker than beef stew. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and suspect I will enjoy the rest of her books! Can’t wait to dive in to this series from book one!

The heat between Allie and Nick is magical! Allie and Nick have an intense magnetism that draws them together no matter how much they might try to fight it. Nick is everything she has ever wanted but has been too afraid to hope she could ever have. I really love how this book handles human trafficking, which is such a terrifying ever present problem in the world. Via Mari has created such a romantic, steamy, action packed, swoon worthy story while also shedding light on a very real problem. The ending was absolute perfection and so beautiful that it brought tears to my eyes. I can’t wait to read more from this author!

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to read Tenacious. There are certain things you can expect from a book when it promises things in the title as this book did, but Tenacious delivered on so much more. Allie and Nick have chemistry, and more to the point, they both know it. This makes their circumstances that much more entertaining and creates a tension in the book that’s not over-done, but palpable. If you like steamy scenes, a solid plotline, and characters you can root for, Tenacious is the book for you!

Tenacious is the 6th book in the amazing Billionaire Bodyguards series by Via Mari. I have been a fan of Via Mari’s books for some time now and the Billionaire Bodyguards are my favourite books of hers so I was so excited to read another book in this series. Tenacious lived up to my expectations and more.
Via Mari is a master at writing romantic suspense books that w3ill have you gripped from the very first page and them take you on a dark, dangerous and very sexy journey. Tenacious had less of the sexy times than some of Via Mari’s other books but there was so much action and the story moved at a very fast pace that you didn’t get a chance to take a breath before you were on the edge of your seat again.
I absolutely loved Allie and Nick’s story. Both are amazing characters that I could read about for hours and hours and never be bored of them. They compliment each other so well.
I loved that we get a sneak peak at some of the couples from previous book in the series. I love to see how previous couples are getting on and see what the future has brought for them.
I certainly hope that Via Mari continues with this series as I love it!

Tenacious by Via Mari is book six of the Billionaire Bodyguard series. This book can be read as a standalone. I haven’t read any other books in the series but still enjoyed this book. So much so I’m gonna read the rest of the series.

Allie is tough. She’s seen more than most working as an ER nurse and she’s had to condition herself to be numb to it all, which honestly isn’t new to her. Nick is a bodyguard. He is naturally protective and that’s kicked into high gear when he met Allie. No one has ever affected him the way she has. Nick just wants to protect her and get through her defenses.

Allie is so strong and independent which makes her such a great character, even though some of that was forged from past trauma. Nick is so protective but still acknowledges Allie’s need to take care of herself. There was so much emotion and suspense, I couldn’t put this book down!

This is my first book by this author and while I parts of the story….others really aren’t in my wheelhouse. I liked the characters, their issues and the problems they are having. There is a larger cast and while we see mostly Nick, Allie, Sheldon and Lexi. They all are lively. I did enjoy all the action that was brought out in here towards the end. I was a bit confused at the beginning since I have not read the previous books in the series.
Overall its a good story that will appeal more to some than others.

This book is on fire!!! So steamy, its palpable. This is my first book from Via Mari, being the 6th in the series did not effect me at all- definitely enjoyable as a stand alone. I absolutely loved everything about this book, from the suspenseful plot, the perfectly created sizzle between Allie and Nick, the drama and emotion- all the yes’s! I will be reading all the previous books in this series pronto- it was that good. Would recommend, 5 stars isn’t enough!

Incredible
The world Via Mari has created just blows my mind. I really enjoy her books and the level of crossover between her series is amazing. This book follows Nick and Allie. The alpha dominant Nick is swoon-worthy and has his work cut out for him with Allie. I really like the depth of the story. Even though each book follows a different couple, it is so worth reading all the books in the series for the backstory. You won’t be disappointed.

Tenacious was a great novel! Via Mari did a beautiful job on this book. That being said, I didn’t read any of the first books. I’m sure they add a lot more to this book, but I question if it needs it. It was a very well put together standalone though I will be going back to read some of these other couples stories!!

This doesn’t really feel like a billionaire or bad boy/ mafia type of book. While I know it is because they do mention it more than a few times, it really feels like a sweet love story that just had a wrench thrown in. Allie is a great nurse who loves her job, her space, and her freedom. But when Nick comes along to protect her, that all changes. She can’t do real relationships, and he isn’t on a continent long enough to try.
