This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up and have read every one of her books. One of my favorite things about this author is her ability to bring the story to life on every page. Her writing skills and attention to details not only give her stories a realistic feel but she makes her characters pop. This book is no different. It is the sixth book in this series which I highly suggest reading all the previous books as they are that awesome. I loved being pulled into the story from the beginning as well as kept engaged to the end. This is a fast paced story that is full of action and romance. The characters are strong and connectable. They give life to the story. In this book we get to see Nick’s story and he is determined to break Allie’s walls down. But the big question remains, will he pick up those pieces? I loved their growth throughout the story. Their chemistry is hot and steamy and you don’t want to miss them. This is truly a great story that I loved and I can’t wait to see what is next for this author. I highly recommend this book and this author.

This is the second book in this series from this author. I hadn’t read the first book in the series so I was concerned that I would be missing out on important information. I found that I was able to pick up the story and read. I immediately connected to the main character, and she wasn’t anything like I expected her to be. I thought the story was well written, easy to read, and I didn’t want to put it down. I’ve never been to the Outback, but the author did an amazing job of taking me there. Her description was fantastic, and I could see Australia in my mind. I can’t wait to see where the author takes the story in the next book, but I do intend to read the first one to see what I missed out on. I highly recommend that you read this book if you like romantic stories that take you on a getaway.

This book captivated me from the beginning. I enjoyed the fact that the main characters were a bit older. The characters come across very relatable. Callie has been through so much at the hands of her husband and she’s trying to get away. CC has been through a lot himself and when his sister in law asks for his help because her neighbor is in need he is there to help. The attraction between Callie and CC is apparent from the first time they meet but there are more important things to deal with first. I enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading more by this author.

Thia Finn did a fantastic job portraying suspense and pain of an abusive relationship. I had a hard time putting this book down. The characters were realistic, and the struggles they faced were very well-written. The emotions were heavy in some scenes, but that’s what made it such a wonderful read. It was easy to get lost in the tale that Thia Finn weaved with this book. I will definitely be reading the rest of her books.

Kiss Me Before Flight by Thia Finn is part of Samantha A. Cole’s Trident Security world. I was hooked to this story from the first chapter.
Callie wants to escape her abusive relationship and with the help of her neighbor’s brother-in-law that might be possible. Conrad “CC” is the pilot for Trident Security and with their help, he’s trying to help a woman that makes him feel things he hasn’t felt since his wife died. Will Callie be able to escape and will she ever be able to find her independence?
Thia’s writing had me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what was going to happen next. Plus, now I have to know more about this world that Samantha has created.

In Runaway To The Outback we get the story of Jonas, brother of Cindy from the first book. Jonas was a city stockbroker but moved back home to take over the local pub. It’s not everyday that a bride comes barging into the pub, but that’s how Jonas meets the gorgeous Pandora. But is she a blushing bride? Well…no. She’s a model who had just had enough and walked out of her photo shoot. Deciding to take a break from her career, she chooses to stay at the pub for a few weeks to recharge. How will the big city model cope with small town living? How will Jonas cope with having this stunning woman living at his pub for a few weeks? I think I loved this story even more than I loved Cindy and Ryan’s story. I loved that we got to see more of Cindy and Ryan and also got to know Cindy’s twin brother Scott better. In my review of the first book I mentioned the camaraderie and kinship of the locals and it’s even more evident in this book and I really enjoyed reading that. I loved this book and now can’t wait to see what Nicole Flockton has in store for brother Scott.

Home To The Outback is the first book in the Welcome To Bunya Junction series by Nicole Flockton. I have read a few books by Nicole Flockton and have always enjoyed them, so was looking forward to reading some more of her work. I’m really glad to have read Home To The Outback as I thoroughly enjoyed it. Home To The Outback is a great contemporary romance where we get the story of Cindy and Ryan. Cindy moved back to Bunya Junction 3 years previously after a disastrous relationship and is not the nurse at the local doctor’s practice. Esteemed plastic surgeon Ryan returns to Bunya Junction to attend the funeral of the doctor of the practice who had brought him up. So how will things pan out when the deceased doctor leaves Cindy and Ryan half of his practice each? To add to the mix, Cindy is the twin sister of Ryan’s best friend Scott. I really enjoyed reading Ryan and Cindy’s story. The author grabbed my attention at the very beginning and I was excited to read what was going to happen next. I do love a small town romance and this is a great example of that. You can really see the camaraderie and kinship of the locals. I would say that I can’t wait to read the next book in this series but I’ve already devoured that, right after finishing this one. This is a fantastic series and I’d definitely recommend it to others.

Runaway to the Outback is Jonas and Pandora’s story. We start out with Pandora coming into Jonas’ bar in a very small town. Pandora is dressed like a bride, but it turns out she is just a model for the dress who stormed off the set. Instantly, the two have a spark between them and it is hard not to feel excited for the two. I kept screaming in my head for Jonas to make a move! These characters are pretty relatable and their actions are things many others have seen in their lives. Jonas reminds me a lot of my husband by saying things that come out wrong or things he shouldn’t have said at all. I really did enjoy this book of the series and cannot wait for book 3!

Kiss Me Before Flight by Thia Finn is a spin-off from Trident Security Series by Samantha A. Cole. You don’t have to have read the Trident Series to be able to enjoy this book. I hadn’t and still really loved reading Kiss Me Before Flight. The first thing I will say is that this book has triggers. There are particularly brutal scenes of domestic violence and non-consensual sex. Callie and Conrad’s story had me hooked from the very beginning. The book is intense and really keeps the reader on their toes and fully engaged throughout. My heart just broke so much for Callie and the horrific life she lead before meeting Conrad. I have to say that Conrad is one of the sweetest tough guys you are ever going to meet and I just adored him throughout the whole book. The world needs a lot more guys like Conrad in it. Apart from Callie and Conrad there is a great cast of secondary characters who bring so much to this book: from the evil Bodine, Callie’s husband to the lovely Jane, Conrad’s feisty sister in law. This book is very well written and flows very well. The storyline is fast paced and keeps you entertained from beginning to end. I really loved this book and would definitely recommend it.

I am obsessed with mythology and this read put a cute little love square twist on it so to speak. We have Vanessa as our protagonist who risks it all for her little brother Piper. How much is your soul worth?! Now luckily this is a book one of the series and once you are done you can jump into book two because I will say Hazel Storm will have you angry at the cliffhanger ending. It is worth it, the overall story could have been developed just a bit stronger but again it is a series so it is okay. Four stars and you will want to complete the series. I wish there was more of a backstory on the gods themselves especially Grey who you will come to describe all the men in this read as sexy and captivating. Just enough tease and build on the romance that has you rooting for love. With love comes a price, how much are you worth?!

This is my first read by this author, and it was a gripping, emotional and riveting story, with wonderful characters and a heartbreaking and honest storyline. This story is about violence, brutality at the hands of a monster, unexpected love and rediscovering oneself. Triumph reigns and dramatic scenes are plentiful. This story is about more than just romance. It is about new friendships, finding strength in the most unusual circumstances, finding the path to happiness and building destroyed self confidence. Callie’s faith in humanity is restored when she meets Conrad and the many people who offer endless support and encouragement. Kiss Me Before Flight was wonderfully written and perfectly executed. Often hard to read and deeply emotional, this remarkable tale delivers the message that love can heal even the deepest of wounds and happiness can be found when you aren’t even looking. 4 stars.

Nicole Flockton has created a fantastic game of cat and mouse within this story. I adore the chemistry that pretty much leaps off the page and slaps the reader in the face, while attempting to keep it from the characters. I’m just a sucker for stories that I wish my life was like, I guess!
The story is set up so great! Small town boy moves to the big city to get away from the people he thought hated him, and avoids anything that reminds him of his past. All the money and glamour can’t fix whats missing though. When an opportunity to make things right comes up, he – reluctantly – jumps at it and finds that he misses all the things he lost living in a small town… including his old best friend’s sister whom had grown into quite the woman since he last saw her. Sparks fly, a barrier is established and lines pushed…
I particularly love how Flockton establishes the antagonist, and how subtle it is. Cannot wait to read more of her series!

This is a sweet romance about friends that become lovers but it isn’t without its ups and downs.

However now things have changed. They are now working and living together as the renovate and work at a new Inn. Is this their chance to make things works or will the feelings they have for each other destroy their relationship and also the relationship with Amelia’s brother.
It’s an up and down relationship which keeps the reader feeling a rollercoaster of emotions.

I absolutely loved No Strings Attached from start to finish! Lara Ward Cosio develops realistic characters and a fantastic storyline. This book was easy to read and easy to follow and understand. The main characters, Kayla and Tanner, embark on a journey together that ignites passion and love in each that neither one is prepared for. It’s a modern day fairy tale complete with ups and downs along the way, and just enough spice and lust to keep it exciting! I look forward to reading more from Lara Ward Cosio. Flockman managed to develop characters that were relatable to anyone who’s spent time in a small town within an unbelievably short amount of time. Bunya Junction became a place I wanted to visit almost immediately. My emotions shifted with the storyline from sadness to joy to a bit of nervous tension. Tragedy turned into happiness in a way that gives hope to anyone who has experienced loss of their own. I look forward to the rest of the series.

This author ends her story where the next one starts. Giving you a little taste of what is coming. I have grown to love the characters and their roles in the little town. Ugh, I love a sweet/steamy book. Kayla is a single mom who just happened to stare at the right rear. (You go girl!!!) Neither want to be attached so no strings attached seems good right? This book was the perfect easy read. I definitely want to read more books by this author now. I fell hard for Kayla and tanner.

The story Something Lost was great once the main plot got going. It is very slow in the beginning. I would have preferred if it didn’t take so long for these to start building between Craig and Rachel. Other than that this love story does pull heartstrings.

Now this is a true love story, you cannot go wrong! From the very beginning I was hooked on the plot of the story. Craig and Rachel are relationship goals because you can’t go wrong with rekindled love. Do you remember your high school sweetheart? Well Rachel’s father is the means of funerals in the title, death has brought this couple back together, or did it? Is rekindling what’s best for both of them? Let’s talk about this cover …..love so simple yet enticing and the characters stories really have you hooked and excited to read the rest of the series to learn more about the back story of each. It is a page turner and I enjoyed it. This is a sophisticated way of writing a love story and it is highly recommended. Four stars, not to shabby!

Another excellent book from the author. She really weaves a riveting tale and I love the way the story moves. Great characters and an engaging plot. Very enjoyable.

Wow. This book has me hooked from the introduction. I have never read a Trident Security book but after reading this book, I have to read the series. I felt like I was watching a movie reading this book, constantly wondering what’s next. Bodine’s character made my blood boil and my heart ached so badly for Callie. Definitely a great read!

Just lovely. Something Lost by Bernadette Marie is a beautiful, second chance romance! This isn’t my first by Bernadette Marie and as always, she delivers a well-written story with great flow. I just love her writing style and character development. This was a page-turner for me for sure.
A group of friends and teammates return home to mourn the loss of their high school coach. Rachel, the coach’s daughter is there and we begin to learn that she and one of the friends, Craig, have history. Is there too much history? Or can they rekindle love from the past?
I just loved this book. It was full of nostalgia, friendship, and romance. I felt the characters were relatable, helping me invest more in the story. I can’t wait to read the rest of this series.
