Not So Far (Love Grows series Book 3) by Renee Regent. I simply love each of these stories and this one I love just as much if not just slightly more. The characters are complex and relatable and completely had me wrapped in their story. Each one has there own story to be heard and the author does a wonderful job of making readers feel a connection with the characters. The connection between the characters is undeniable and definitely one I won’t be forgetting any time soon. I definitely couldn’t put this book down and loved every minute of being lost in it. Five stars all the way and highly recommended.

I enjoyed this book. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites. I enjoyed being pulled in right from the beginning by the characters. They made the story engaging and wanting to know what would happen next with them. This is a story about Jax. He has a disability that makes him feel he has to prove himself to everyone around him. He is determined to prove that he can do just as much as anyone else. What happens when he meets Lennox is not something he expected. He is instantly attracted to her and is ready to accomplish what he has set out to do. The one thing that is blocking his way with Lennox is her brother. Will he be able to get Lennox or will she run the other way? I had no problem connecting with the characters. They made the story for me. They were strong and most full of heart that are supportive of each other. A story of strength and love. I highly recommend this book and this author.

I loved reading the book Bottomed Out (Moto X Series Book 4) by Brooke May. It is a story that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. It is a romantic story that is sure to hook you in. I loved reading about the characters of Jax Hunt and Lennox Austin. Jax is a man who doesn’t like that some only see him for his disability. He has good friends and a family that mostly understands him. He wants to be seen by a woman for who he is. He then meets Lennox. Lennox is an intelligent, strong, and beautiful woman. She can’t miss the way that Jax makes her feel. The only problem, her overprotective brother. When the two of them meet there is a connection and chemistry between them. What does the future hold for Lennox and Jax? Read this book to find out. This is a story that has romantic moments that make the temperature in the room rise. There are heartwarming and heartbreaking moments as well. My emotions went up and down the entire time I was reading this book. I also enjoyed reading about the additional characters that are friends and family to Jax and Lennox. This is an amazing story that had me turning pages wanting to know what will happen next and how it all will end. I highly recommend reading it.

This is a nice story of a second chance romance. The story moves along and the characters are interesting. There are family obligations and expectations that come into play with these two. My one issue is I would think the other two kids would/should be involved in or at least get to know him and make sure they are all compatible.
Audrey and Silas have a history. They spent a wonderful summer together. Then he left and now eighteen years later they meet back up. Each one has lived a lifetime, each one has secrets. While they reconnect once the past and present intersect who will be standing once the dust settles.

Not So Far (Love Grows series, Book 3) by Renee Regent was a great 5 star read.
Once I started I was pulled right in.
This is Aubrey and Silas’s story. Aubrey is shocked when she sees Silas is back in town and wanting a second chance with her. She is still upset with Silas because of his leaving several years ago. She is finally in a good place with her life and not sure if she’s ready to let him back in.
Silas has some big regrets about leaving and he’s harboring a big secret that would hurt Aubrey. Seeing her again has brought back so many feelings. What he doesn’t know is that Aubrey has a secret of her own as well.
Will she be able to let Silas back in? What will happen when secrets come out?
Overall I really enjoyed this read, my emotions were all over the place. I loved Aubrey, she is very independent and not afraid to say what’s on her mind. You could feel the chemistry coming off the pages between these two. I look forward to reading more from this author and series. 1-click and get started today.

Audrey and Silas – yes please! Regent does such a fantastic job of weaving a story that immediately pulls you in and connect the characters, whether you want to or not. I was immediately invested in this storyline, guessing what may have happened, what the plot twist might be. And whether or not I guessed correctly I still couldn’t wait to read the next page. Loved every word and hope there is more coming in this series!!

Not So Far ( Love Grows Series Book 3) by Renee Regent. This was the first book I have read in this series and by this author. I didn’t feel like I missed anything yet not reading the previous books in this series, but I will be going back and reading them!! This book definitely pulled me in from the beginning and I could not put this down until I was done. My heart broke for both Silas and Audrey. I absolutely loved how they were both thinking about each other at pretty much the same time. They both went through emotional journeys to get were they both needed to be and belonged. The chemistry and love that they had for each other was amazing!!! I can not wait to see what is in store for us next!!!

Not So Far (Love Grows Series Book 3) by Renee Regent. This is a great love story. Its the 3 book in the series and the story of Silas and Audrey. Silas feels like he’s made the worst mistake of his life by leaving Audrey and not telling her why all those years ago but when he sees her again all those feelings come crashing back and he’s determined to have her again. Audrey was so hurt by Silas when he left to the point that she thought she would never love again much less forgive him but when she sees him sparks fly. There has always been a unspoken chemistry between them and its harder to resist each time. Renee Regent has written this beautiful love story. I really enjoyed reading this story as it unfolded. The book captured my heart from the start. Seeing both sides of Audrey and Silas’ story, has opened the heart of all those who read it. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series. As it left me hopeful of people making better choices and falling in love.

Not So Far by Renee Regent is the third book in the Love Grows series. This book is a great addition to the series and really will keep you turning the pages. Audrey and Silas are two great characters. There is something about them that just draws you in and makes you want to read about them. They have to be my favourite couple of the series, making this book the best as well. This author has created a brilliant series, one that is highly enjoyable with strong characters and interesting story lines. Personally I think they are best read in order although they could all be stand-alones. I would highly recommend both this book and series.

Not So Far is the third book in the Love Grows series and again as with the first two I really enjoyed it. I find Ms Regent’s books so easy to read; they are always enjoyable and have great characters. I really loved Silas and Audrey – I really felt the connection that they had with each other. Audrey was strong and independent and after what happened in the past with Silas I knew she would struggle to build a connection with him again now he is back in her life. I did love reading about their relationship, the high and the lows. They were both really likeable characters and I was rooting for them the whole way through! I 100% recommend this story and I look forward to more from Ms Regent again in the future!

I enjoyed this book. It is the third book in this series and my favorite yet. I highly suggest reading the previous two books. This is a well developed story that I had a hard time putting down. It is engaging and full of romance. I had no problem connecting with the characters. The emotional roller coaster ride they took me on had me turning pages to the end. This is a second chance love story that pulled at my heartstrings. Fate has brought Silas back to Atlanta, back to Audrey. Will she hate him for leaving the first time? Audrey has finally gotten to the part of her life where she has everything she wants. What will happen when fate puts Silas back into her life? Is she strong enough to resist him or will fate give them a second chance? I enjoyed the chemistry between them. I also enjoyed watching these two character’s relationship grow throughout the story. This is a really great story. I highly recommend this book and this author.

Love is What You Bake of it (The Meraki Series Book 1) by Effie Kammenou. I loved this story. This author isn’t new to me and I’ve really enjoyed her stories but I think this one is my favorite so far. The entire story had me hooked. The characters drew me in immediately and I kept having to remind myself I was really a book not living it out. Each and every single detail is addressed and each emotion needed is written to make you feel it all. This book definitely had me laughing out loud. Kally and Max just draw you in and you won’t want to leave them. I’m definitely looking forward to more from this incredible author. This book is well written and paced nicely, with characters you won’t soon forget. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

Love is what you bake of it is a lovely heart warming book about accepting the things you can not change and trusting the people around you.
Kally is a great character who has been battered in the past by love and is happy now creating her master pieces in her cafe until a unexpected thing happens and can she embrace love or drive him away with her trust issues. Will past events dictate future loves you will have to read to find out.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book as a great summer read, the story flowed brilliant and I felt I could really relate to the main characters. I enjoyed the story of secrets being revealed and the humour, with also the interaction of the secondary characters makes this a great book.
This is the first story by this author and I can’t wait to read the second in this instalment, I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a great story and happy romance.

Love Is What You Make of It by Effie Kammenou is the first book in the Meraki Series, and truly was a good read. I have never read anything by this author and I can say now that I fell in love with her writing style, her characters, and can not read more of her work. Max and Kally are two strong characters that I adored and loved getting lost in the world created for them and by them. Watching Max and Kally develop was fun, and I adored her grandparents. I truly felt I was apart of the world of Max and Kally which as a reader is so important for me.
I give this book five stars and can not wait to read more in the series and more work by the author. I loved how she was able to draw me in, and keep me reading from page one and until the words, the end. Truly a fun read that has shown me another author I can read more of. WELL DONE!

I really enjoyed reading “Love Is What You Bake of It,” by Effie Kammenou! I think what I loved most about it was how realistic the characters were. Love is What You Bake of it by Effie Kammenou book one of The Meraki Series. The book was so good, I found it hard to put down at times. I really enjoyed following Kally and Max’s story.
Kally is caring and independent. She is very passionate about baking which she shows with how she runs her cafe. She’s also not had such a great past and unfortunately for Max, she lets her past guide her and she doesn’t trust easily. Kally is satisfied in life. She has her friends, family and the cafe. She couldn’t possibly need anything else. Until Max shows up. He is attracted to her from the start but also realizes she doesn’t trust him and maybe won’t ever trust him. Will Max be able to convince Kally to take a chance on him?
My emotions were definitely on a rollercoaster while reading this book. You can’t help but want these characters to be happy. It’s easy to get invested in their lives. I couldn’t help but want to know what would happen next. I couldn’t put it down!

What a delicious way to read a book! Love Is What You Bake of It is written by, Effie Kammenou. This is the first in the Meraki series. This cute little Greek book follows Kally and Max. Kally loves to bake and it shows through her café. She also hasn’t had the best love life and is kind of scorned by it. So what would any baker do but throw herself into her work. Then Max happens. Max is a police officer, who has just moved back to his hometown after a really messy divorce. Along with him, comes a 6 year old daughter named Athena. The moment Max walked into the bakery, there was no question that there was a great deal of attraction between the both of them. However, Kally’s reluctance has put a halt on anything happening between them. That is until Max decides that he wants to prove to her that they would be good together. So what other than baking do you think might happen here? This book really is great and I would definitely recommend it to others. Plus there are special treats in there for everyone! I won’t spill the beans, you will have to read and find out! I know I will be a happy camper the next time I step into my kitchen!

This is a wonderful romantic read. I enjoyed the recipes that were put in the book, I can’t wait to try them out. Kally and Max have both been hurt in the past and aren’t in a place where they are looking for a relationship. When Max walks into Kally’s bakery for the first time and they see each other the attraction is off the charts. Max makes the decision that he’s going to go for it but Kally is resistant at first but she does have a soft spot for Max’s daughter Athena. The more time these two spend together their chemistry can be felt jumping off the pages. Kally doesn’t trust people and then a situation happens where Kally feels betrayed by Max, which is mostly because her trust issues leave no room for explanations or mistakes. I really enjoyed how there is more than one love story in this book, we hear about her grandmother and grandfather, and also her own mother and father. The author drew me in with such wonderful characters, and a story written about tragedy, love, hope, family and romance. You must read this if you want to find out what happens between these two. Love is What You Bake of it (Meraki #1) by Effie Kammenou was a great 5 star read. This was a great start to this series. I was pulled right in from the beginning.
We get an intro to Kally in the prologue where she meets a woman who helps her realize some things. We jump ahead a few years, Kally finally has her own shop regardless of how much her father gripes about it. One day a man walks into her cafe and he comes across very arrogant. But her friend accuses her of always finding the bad in men. I loved her friend.
Kally was hurt very badly so she has some pretty high walls and is not actively looking for a man. However there is something about Max that pulls her in. Will she finally let someone in and get a HEA?
Overall I really enjoyed this read. This greek family reminded me of the movie My Big fat greek wedding. All of the secondary characters were great, the family had me lol at times. We get romance, suspense and so much more. I can’t wait to read more from this series and author. 1-click and get started today.

I could tell from the cover of this book that it would be a cute fun read and boy was i right!! This is such a sweet lighthearted read one you can settle down with on the sofa with a cheeky wine and enjoy every second. I love a story where the character’s really jump of the page and come to lie well this story certainly delivered that! It had a fantastic storyline written beautifully and leaves you wanting more what more can you want…

Another brilliant introduction to an author that I will definitely be reading more from! I loved love is what you bake of it. It had me hooked from the very beginning with the incredible storyline this author has created and wonderful characters that drew me into their story for the entire read. I loved that it was a second chance read and that it has romance and a bit of humour weaved in. I very much enjoyed following these two characters I was rooting for them both and hoping that their pasts won’t get in the way of them getting to a HEA. I can’t wait to read more from this author and what else she brings to this series! I highly recommend this read.

This is my first read by this author, I have many of her others on my TBR list and decided to make this one my first, I’m in love with the cover, and in this case you can absolutely judge this book by the cover because it was simply amazing!
I also love when there’s a sweets shop / Bakery in the story, I don’t know why that is such a draw for me but it’s a comforting feeling and you know you’re about to get a sweet awesome story! I love the Greek roots in this story, and Egypt cracked me up!
“Well, isn’t he a bit of an a**,” Kally grumbled “If you mean to say you’d like to bite his a**, I’m with you, girl”
Kally loves her “crazy” yet supportive, loving family, she loves her cafe The Coffee Klatch, and has awesome friends. Her heart has never healed from the pain of losing her first love and then finding out after losing him of the secrets that were revealed and causing her heart to break. She’s content now to never trust like that again! The mystery that was woven into this story grabbed me and made this one of my favorite books of the year..My heart was torn and I had no idea how this story would all play out. Max and his daughter both won my heart pretty quick and I can not wait for more in this series.
And Oh my Lord the recipes that I will be trying, and the addition of the aprons…Perfect!
All of this authors’ books have now moved up substantially on my TBR list!! Grab this..you will not be sorry!

5 Star Love is What You Bake of it (The Meraki Series Book 1) by Effie Kammenou Love is What You Bake of it is the first book in The Meraki Series by Effie Kammenou and a wonderfully written second chance romance that I absolutely loved reading. I’ve read several books by this Author and this one is definitely on my favorites list. I absolutely felt like the characters were easily relatable and well developed. There was parts where it literally tugged at my heartstrings and I found myself a bit emotional and other parts I was chuckling. Max and Kally both have trust issues from past relationships. Kally owns a quaint little café called the Coffee Klatch , and she loves to bake, might I add this Author has added several delicious sounding recipe as well. Kally has experienced love and loss and feels as though she’s unworthy that is until Max walked into her life. She was hesitant at first as he was also. Can these two have a future together? Can they learn to trust again? Find out what happens next in this must read book. I can not to read more from this Author .

Love is What You Bake of it is the opening act of Effie Kammenou’s Meraki series. Effie is a new writer for me and I picked up the story after reading the synopsis. It reminded me of some other fun romance books involving baking (and as I love baking so much) so I decided to take a chance on it and … the gamble paid off! AND I absolutely loved, loved, loved the story and my god, the recipes, I cannot wait to start experimenting! They have found their place in my recipe book! Love is What You Bake of it gives us Kally Andarakis, whose first and biggest love is baking at her café, The Coffee Klatch, and Max Vardaxis, a police officer starting over in his hometown with his young daughter Athena. Just close your eyes, picture My Fat Greek Wedding and the feelings you ran gamut when watching it and maybe, just maybe you will be prepared for the mayhem and mischief that Kally and Max are surrounded by! And those aprons (you have to read to get what I mean), I have to see if I could get some like that … I cannot wait what Effie will give us in the second book (I hope we will have more recipes, you can never have enough recipes, right?)

Love is What You Bake of it is the first book in the new Meraki series by Effie Kammenou. I loved reading this story and cannot wait for more in the series. Kally is the main character in this book and you cannot help but fall in love with her. I found her the most relatable character when it comes to feeling unworthy and having someone shatter your heart and making it hard to trust again. Kally runs a café and loves to bake, it’s her passion and it shows in the book. But the comes Max and the more you learn about him the more you come to love him. But can these move past the terrible pasts and find love again? This book will pull you in from the first few pages and it does not let you go even at the end. I found myself wanting more of these characters. I highly recommend this book.
