The Fisher Men on the X is the 3rd book in the Fisher Men series by Rebel Nicks O’Dey. It is advertised as a stand alone book, but I think it would be hard to read individually. There is a lot going on in these books, and even having read all 3, its hard for me to grasp it all and make the links. Over all, its a wonderful story, but an emotional one. The characters have a lot of dimension, and the relationships between them are enjoyable to read. This book focuses on Rebecca and Zack. They met when they were children, in the Seh, and it changed both their lives forever. They remain best friends and help each other heal and come to terms with who they have become. I love all the Fisher Men books, but this one was more serious and less lovey dovey. I can’t wait to read the next one.

Wow! At first I was leery of this story but as I delved into it I can see I clearly underestimated this read. It really pulls the emotion right out of me. Laughter, heartbreak, love of family and relief are just a few. I always was interested in Zack and how he came to be like he is portrayed in the previous books. This book told me and it really floored me. I was impressed with the angle the author took on his story. I love how he works so hard to save others from their demons. It was interesting how he viewed himself.
Becca. We met her in the last book. I really thought she was just a one time character. I mean I wondered about her and Zack but I didn’t realize their shared history. The way she transformed was awe inspiring.
This is my second favorite In the series right now. It’s a very emotional story and it was told splendidly. One minute I am rooting for Becca then the next for Zack I just kept going back and forth. I did LOVE the Irish Car Bomb night! It was a great break that everyone needed. Those Fisher boys are so funny when talking about their wives! I can’t wait to read Morgan’s story!

The Fisher Men On the X: Standalone book III. Steamy Military Romance by Rebel Nicks O’Dey Stars-4
This is the third story in this series. All of the stories in this series can be read as a standalone, but I think that it will be more enjoyable if you read them all. This is a great series, and this story does not disappoint. These characters, Becca and Zack, are great in their own way. They met again, but they are different than they were before. Becca is strong and amazing. They have great chemistry. I hope that you enjoy this book as much as I did!

The Fisher Men On The X is the first book I’ve read by this author. I thought the book was well written and somewhat captivating. This book has the reader on an emotion roller coaster throughout every chapter. Sweet innocent, Becca is finally grown up and she’s not the brainwashed little girl the Seh thought she was. She was such a weak, character in the beginning but turned out to be just like Zack calls her…a total bada$$!!! I liked to see how the story progressed. Everyone has monsters in the closet. Even those who seem so strong. The fisher men can save everyone but will settle for saving one at a time.

The Fisher Men On the X (Fisher Men Book III) by Rebel Nicks O’Dey 5 stars
Ok, who is chopping onions over here? I haven’t cried from sadness and laughter so much in one book before. This one really hit me as its a lot more detailed in the characters this time. It says its a standalone, and it can be read that way but I promise you won’t want to, so read the others! We follow Zack and Becca in this one and its oh so different than the others. I knew it would be but I was not prepared. I will not be giving details as it all plays into everything and I don’t want to possibly give any spoilers. If you loved the first two books, then be prepared for this one. I have a new favorite author!

I really enjoy reading about people who escape cults, fiction or non, but Rebel Nicks O’Dey tends to make you feel as if you are reading non-fiction sometimes. These characters’ stories really shine and make you feel so many feels that you can’t help but become invested in them and feel as if they are very tangible and real. I have followed The Fisher Men series from book one and I am glad that I have. These books say they can be read as standalones, and I suppose if you are really just looking for one book but I can promise that this story builds and unfolds in a way that will make so much more sense if you have all the books under your belt. Plus each one has been fabulous and well worth the time spent.
This is the third book in the series, The Fisher Men On The X, and most likely my favorite one yet. Once again we meet ex members of The Seh cult, this time being Becca and Zach. These two are so beautiful together it is almost poetic. Each works hard to build each other back up in order to find their footing in a world that shouldn’t seem so unknown to them. Becca is one back chick that I adored reading and Zach is the type of book boyfriend everyone will be fighting claim over. These two were so much fun to follow and I look forward to getting my hands on book four which promises the story of Morgan. I have a feeling he is going to be a new favorite!

I enjoyed this who done it story. This is a little different type of story for this author but I can’t wait to see if she writes more like this. It is is a suspense story that left me sitting on the edge of my seat in parts. This author has created a story that is well developed and creative. Her characters had me turning pages. The twists and turns had me guessing at who the murdered is throughout the story. The story is full of murder, secrets, and obession. I highly recommend this book.

Every single book in this series is a must read and this installment is absolutely no exception. I continue to be enthralled by the story the author weaves. There is so much more depth in the pages than the reader is expecting simply from the catchy synopsis on the jacket. You have drama and action and suspense and romance all rolled into an amazing package. Another one click author and must read title added to the library.

Wow! This book found its way into my greedy little hands and I could not stop reading until every page was completely devoured. I found this story to be suspenseful and engaging. The characters were well developed and relatable. I was kept guessing until the end and enjoyed every minute I spent following the story to conclusion. Extremely well written.

I am absolutely loving this series and have been really looking forward to reading the third instalment and I wasn’t disappointed at all! Becca really was a wonderful character to read about and I loved getting to know her and I’m not sure she was what I was expecting but she definitely surpassed the things I thought about her at the beginning of the story! I loved Zack and the two of them together were just adorable! I loved the connection that they had and it was clear that even an extended period apart didn’t dampen down the genuine connection that was there between them. There was a lot of emotion in the story and I definitely was there right with the characters at times! This definitely was a great addition to the Fisher Men series and one that I highly recommend!

As a notable celebrity, Tyler Channing is used to encountering ardent fans. Yet when he came to Valley View to perform in a play, he was in no way prepared for the psychotic intensity of Louise Harper.
But when Louise is found dead, Detective Caleb Mitchell is put on the case to discover which of Louise’s plethora of secrets was worth killing her for? Was the murderer Louise’s daughter, Mackenzie, who was infuriated over family secrets? Perhaps it was her soon-to-be-ex, Al, that refused to let her go? Had Tyler Channing been so tired of being stalked he finally snapped? Or, was Louise involved in something far more sinister that lead to her death?
Time is running out, and a killer is on the loose. Can Detective Mitchell solve the case before the body count rises?

5 Star The Fisher Men On the X (Fisher Men Book III) by Rebel Nicks O’Dey
The Fisher Men On The X is the third Book in the Fisher Men Series and my favorite yet. I found myself lost in the pages and couldn’t stop reading till the end. My emotions were all over the place. I do recommend reading this series in although it can be read as standalone. But to get a better understanding of what is going on I recommend reading them in order. This is Becca and Zack’s story. These two met when they was younger and meet again as adults. These two have serious chemistry between them. Can these two help heal each other? Find out what happens next in this must read. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

This is the third book in the series and is probably my favorite so far! It was definitely the most emotional! I found myself just a bit weepy more times than I can count while reading this one! I have decided I want to be a Fisher Man! You will need to immerse yourself in this series to understand what I’m talking about, but this series revolves around a family whose members escaped a cult like religion known as the Seh. While the things that happen are unrealistic to me, I can’t help but feel for these women and wonder if these types of things truly go on and what I can do to help if they do. This book in the series in the most powerful as both the main characters, Zach and Becca, have a history with the Seh. Seeing the struggle of these people trying to overcome their pasts to become what they are meant to be is both heart wrenching and beautiful.
Each book in this series says it is a standalone, but I do not recommend reading them as such. You really need to start with book one or you will be missing a lot of information that you really need to understand what is going on in the following books. Trust me, it is worth the time! This has been an incredible journey to follow! I have so much respect for these characters and for the author who wrote them. I can’t imagine it was always easy. Don’t worry though! It’s not always emotional…this book had me laughing out loud so much! I am giving this a full five stars and can’t wait for the next book! We get a key piece of info at the end of this story that I am looking forward to exploring in Morgan’s book!

The Fisher Men On the X by Rebel Nicks O’Dey is the third book in the Fisher Men series. This is an incredible series that everyone definitely needs to read! When I read the previous book in this series I knew it was going to be a hard task to beat it as I enjoyed it so much and yet from the moment I read the blurb of this book I knew Miss O’Dey was certainly going to impress again. This book was definitely about the strong characters, Becca especially. Their history together made their chemistry even stronger and more believable. It was brilliant to see the difference between them. The overall story felt intriguing from the start and drew me in instantly. This has been a fantastic series and I really cannot wait to see what else is to come.

This is the third book in this series. They can be read as a standalone but I highly suggest that you read them all from the start. This is my favorite yet in this series. The characters bring the story to life especailly Becca who is such as a bad a$$, loved her. This installment is Becca and Zack’s story. They met each other as children, as adults they met again but this time they have scars. They have great chemistry together. Will they heal each other? I highly recomend this book.

The Fisher Men On the X (Fisher Men Book III) By: Rebel Nicks O’Dey 5 out of 5 stars
I was so excited when I found out the next book was out in this series. I have loved reading about the Fisher Men from the very first story and this one is an amazing read. It has a wonderful storyline that will hook you in and also amazing characters. I loved reading about Becca. She is a strong, intelligent, beautiful, and stubborn young woman. She is no longer the same little girl The Seh thought she was. Read this book to find out more about Becca. This story had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. There were times I was angry, times when I was sad and heartbroken, and then there were heartwarming times as well. When reading this book, I went on a journey that I didn’t see coming and was pleasantly surprised at how the author really made you feel for the characters as you read what is going on in their lives. There are some steamy scenes that you read about which makes the temperature in the room rise. This is a story that has characters who touched my heart and also made me laugh. I highly recommend reading it.

Zack Fisher and Rebecca Meriwether met as children in a desolate and dangerous place known as The Seh. She saved his soul with light and kindness; he saved her mind from the abuse bestowed upon her by making a promise never meant to be kept. They grew up in different places each with the demons the Seh left them. She appears back in his life, at an inconvenient time, ready to collect on the promise. He has a different idea. He forces her to take charge of her life, and when she does… she’s a force to be reckoned with.
This is a heart wrenching emotional read that thankfully has the Rebel brand of quirky humor weaved throughout to lighten all the dark.
Rebel is retired from a career in EMS (Emergency Medical Service) as a first responder. One downfall of her profession was never knowing what happens next. Once a patient is safely in the emergency room, she never knew if they recovered, if their family made it in time, or if life could go on. She dealt with the stress by writing rich backstories and twisting their trauma into a happily ever after. She writes real-life horror and the darkest pieces of humanity but with light through the scars, love, healing, and humor. After becoming intimately involved in the trials and tribulations of her characters, she laughs when they laugh, cries when they cry, and sighs at the end. Rebel hopes you, too, get lost in another world, find light in the dark, get inspired, and get frisky with your Love.
Rebel Nicks O’dey is blissfully married to her childhood sweetheart. It’s easy to write about love and romance when you know what it is. She has several amazing children. She has lived in three states and six homes in the last ten years. So, where she is from, is a complicated question. Rebel dreamed of writing books and sharing them with the world from a very early age. She is a two-time National Winner of the Young Authors Contest, but then life happened. Like most adults, she forgot about her dreams and grew up. Writing became a stress relief, a hobby, and nothing more. Surviving Cancer changed her perspective. Life is short, stop surviving it; live it.
