This was such a lovely, heart-warming Christmas read. I really do love this author and this is one of my favourites by her so far! I really liked Amber and Giovanni, both really likeable and relatable characters I felt. I also really loved that real feeling the story had. Giovanni was such a perfect gentleman and form the moment him and Amber met I knew they would be perfect for each other and I was rooting for them the whole way through. This was such a fun sweet read and one that I would highly recommend for getting you in the Christmas spirit!

I thought this novella was extremely cute and adorable. It is fast paced and an easy read. Full of holiday cheer, romance, and family, this story will capture everyone’s heart. It isn’t too raunchy nor too clean. This is my first story in this series and I’m excited to read the others.

Such a sweet story that drew happy tears on more than one occasion, I loved it! Embracing Jared hit me on a deep level. I felt sadness, anger, tears, happiness and love throughout. I’ve lost a family member to the dreadful disease that’s stealing Mr. Christopher’s life, so I can completely understand everything Jared is feeling when it comes to his father. Madison, personifies the reason I actually decided the medical field wasn’t for me. I can’t disconnect, but neither can she. She cares fiercely for her patients and deals with the aftermath in her own time. Madison and Jared definitely started out with a rocky Nurse/Client relationship, however despite that Jared realizes she’s the best thing for his father. He also starts to admire her in other ways, are his feelings mutual? Though this is book 3 in the A Thrill of the Chase series, not only do I believe I read book 1 a while ago, I’m ready to go back and read through all 3 in a row. Even saying that it’s very good as a stand-alone, you don’t necessarily have to read the others. READ IT, COM’ON YOU KNOW YOU WANT TOO!

Embracing Jared is the third book in the Thrill of The Chase series by Anna Paige. It is a superb Rockstar romance, drama, chemistry, sparks, tension, brotherhood, family, and plenty of emotion. As with the other two books in the series, it could be read as a standalone, but in doing that, I feel you would be doing yourself a disservice, as there is a lot of information and important details in the other books that would highly enhance your reading experience of this third instalment, as well as the series as a whole. Again, the author has upped the ante and delivered a captivating story that enhances this fantastic series. It is Rockstar romance done right- with all the author’s clever touches and original take on the topic. I couldn’t have loved the characters, storyline and details any more than I did. So, if you love Rockstar romance, contemporary romance, a captivating story, and endearing slightly flawed characters- then you really should do yourself a favour and grab yourself a copy of this book (and series) and fall in love with these wonderful characters, stories, and talented author. This book has only reinforced the fact that I am addicted to the ‘Thrill of the Chase’ and am an Anna Paige junkie- I soooo can’t wait for my next fix!

Madison swoops right into Jared’s life like a hurricane and knocks him right off his feet before he even realizes what’s happening. I really love that Jared has a stutter and he isn’t portrayed as this perfect shallow rock star, it makes him so much more endearing and adorable! He is so heart meltingly sweet with his father who has some memory issues. Madison misjudges Jared so harshly in the beginning nut once she meets him in person she realizes just how wrong she was. Once she starts to let her walls down, he works his way into her heart just as deeply as his father has. There are so many sweet moment interjected with the tears along the way, that this book had me hooked from the very first page. The ending is absolutely swoon worthy and this is a book that is definitely a must read. The other band members have some parts in this book that have me eager to go and read the first books in this series to find out more about them!

This is the first book in this series that I have read and I’m absolutely going back to read the other 2. This book definitely pulls on your heartstrings. Madison is a great character and so is Jared. It’s a bit of a slow burn but it feels realistic and not rushed.I can’t wait to read more from this author!

This was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning and I loved Madison without fully meeting her yet just by the letter she sent to Jared.
Jared is a Rock star who loves music and his father. When he gets a sassy letter from his fathers caretaker he decides to take a trip to visit his dad and meet this woman to give her a piece of his mind. But when he meets Madison his plans change. They both have one thing in common, the best care for his dad. Jared also has a promise to keep.
Overall I really enjoyed this read, my emotions were all over the place. The characters were great, they have become one of my favorite couples in this series. The author does a great job with her writing. I was really happy with the ending. If you’re looking for a great Rock star series this is the one for you, this book can be read as a stand alone but reading them in order gives you the best experience. 1-click and get started today.

Another great addition to this series! Once again, K.G. Fletcher wrote a novella full of warm and fuzzies. Its because of this author I’ve found a love for holiday romance stories! So many feelings are packed into these quick reads, but by the end I’m content and happy. Amber and Gio both had their problems, but the attraction was there from the beginning. I loved reading every page of their story!

Whoa! What a story! Really.. I was blown away! What I love about this is the look behind the rock star. Sure there are band moments but this really is about Jared and his life. I enjoyed how little moments became larger moments and really I just loved Jared and his devotion to Mr C.
The feelings displayed by the characters and also *felt* by the reader are immense. Many times I want to Hoot and Holler for Jared and other times I wanted to put my hand on his shoulder in commiseration. I really felt his joy even if they were happy tears. Cookie is a delight. Feisty, sassy and stands up for herself. I loved her interaction with Mr C. She is someone everyone would love to have on their staff.
I love and enjoy seeing all the guys in the band. They are truly brothers first and band members second. It shows over and over in this story. I love the joking and noodling. Even when Kade laid into one of the other characters…I was like..Yup don’t mess with him!
These stories are so much more that just rock star romance. There is depth behind each of them that makes the reader go through a hoard or emotions. I laughed, cried, felt empathy and was surprised while reading. I easily end up loving all the characters and could see myself rereading this one. I eagerly look forward to Lennox’ story.

Amber doesn’t celebrate Christmas because of her very lonely past. In fact, the town knows her as a self-proclaimed grinch. Everything changes when she meets Gio, though. It is love at first sight. But then she learns he has a kid, and doubt starts creeping into her heart. Can she deal with her past so that she can open her heart to include others? Will she be able to move past her feelings of not measuring up to others to see what is being offered to her?
I enjoyed the story line. It was heart breaking for me to imagine what Amber must have gone through growing up the way she did. The characters were rather easy to relate to, which made the story flow very quickly for me. I enjoyed getting to know them and seeing them happy in the end.

I haven’t read the frist few series of this I will admit. Madsion and Jared Intinal intreactons are snappy at each other. As the story progess Madsion and Jared intreactons become for frequent due to her caring for his dad. At times we see frustrations from both side and reading through both side makes it more understandable

This is a rock and roll romance story. It is raw and edgy, and the energy was palpable. I loved the first two books and this one just gets better. The characters are delightful and real and will capture your heart. Emotions run deep so drink up and grab a tissue. He had his dreams. He had it all. He had his demons. He was torn. He was angry. He was blindsided, but he would create World War three to protect those he loves. Reviewed by @jennadb

What a fantastic addition to the series this book is. This book is all about the characters. Right from the word go they have such a strong connection. Their chemistry is obvious in every page and they really take over the when book. What I also really enjoyed about this book is that is had a depth about it that that don’t often find with rock star romances. It made it much easier to engage with the story as it developed. This was a great book overall and a strong series that is worth a read.

This is the 2nd book in the series but each can be read as a stand-alone. I had read, and loved, the 2nd book but haven’t read the first book, something I need to remedy. This book come under the trope of Rock Star romance but it is so, so much more than that. The author tackles 2 difficult subjects, those being speech difficulties and dementia, and she does so in an amazing manner. She really highlights the pain and suffering that those with these issues, and their loved ones, go though. She does an incredible job of tugging at the heartstrings and taking you through an emotional roller coaster of a journey. I adored both of the main characters Jared and Madison (Cookie). I totally fell in love with Madison’s character immediately, when I read the email reply that she sent to Jared. She’s a total badass who is damn good at her job and takes no prisoners. Jared really tore at my heartstrings. I just wanted to give him a huge hug so many times. Just how much can one man take in his life. The very fact that I had so many emotions just shows how well this author is at character building. I loved this book and can’t wait to read more from this series.

This book was truly amazing, from start to finish, I felt so much, I really felt for the characters and what they endured in life and what they had to do, well to get through life. The book was real as it could get with characters and emotions, and life being itself. This was a wild ride, one that I would surely ride again!
What got me truly with those heart strings of mine, was not the romance of a relationship with a girl working out for Jared, but with his own father. I truly felt the emotions of how he cared for him and wanted to be a good and good for his father type of son. You could tell at first glance that under some blankets issues were there, be it with Jared or his father. I really enjoyed their side of the story, getting all those emotions and feels, I learned things about Jared I did not expect to, and it really made me want to reach out and hug him truly! I loved how much Jared truly loved his father and respected him despite his life as a rock star, I did not expect that, but it was wonderful and full of heart, loved that!
Madison was his father’s nurse. Though she was a nurse providing care. I could sense she felt the same and cared for him on a friend level rater more than just patient and nurse type of level. I found the chemistry with Madison and Jared wonderful as well. It was very convincing and you knew the passion was there the more time they spent together, though you knew bot were reluctant to allow either of themselves to feel anything for one another, despite what ever excuse that may be. This is what I loved about this book, it was not your traditional guy meets girl, fall in love with a dash of issues. There was so much to this story that was full of heart and emotion! It is a rare read, and a delightful/powerful one!
This book as I have said was an emotional ride for me, some feels were nice and cute, others were tears flowing down my face, especially with Jared and his father, and others were just feeling of, well hope. I enjoyed this book and all sides/aspects that it brought on respectively. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend this must read novel to everyone that comes across it! Loved this amazing book!

A five-star read that will embrace you and make you feel complete. This is number three in the Thrill of the Chase series and its like the cherry on the top of an ice-cream Sunday, it just makes the whole thing so much better. Jared broke my heart, his passion for music and his farther were just sublime and showed on the page, you could feel his emotions pouring out. Everything he has been through, just made sense at every point of the story, he stays true to his promise and broke me. Cookie well cookie is a sweet and strong as the food her nickname is after, strong like a biscotti, but sweet like a chocolate chip. Madison and the sense of love for those in her care, showed what a difference a good care giver can bring to peoples lives. It was odd as I was having a total am I on the right path moment and reading about Madison and her passion, re-ignited mine, showing me why my role is so important. This author is one of those that makes you stop and think when you see their name on a novel, they make you want to drop everything to start reading.

This is a tremendous book! The emotions you feel while reading it. Yes, Jared is a rock star but he is also a son looking out for his father. What a beautiful and well-written story. You have the challenges with romance between him and his father’s nurse. There are also the feelings as he comes to terms with his father’s aging. I can find my myself relating to the characters and how they are feeling with the issues they are dealing with. This book is original, romantic and still one-of-a-kind. The plot was amazing because it flowed so smoothly back and forth from the rock band to his dealings with the nurse and the nursing home. Little Shay was my absolute favorite. The heartstrings get tugged and you just can’t help but love this story. Give it a shot. I highly recommend. It would get more than a 5 if I could give it.

5-stars
I highly highly recommend this series to anyone looking for a Rockstar romance read, these guys are some of my absolute favourites! This series should be read in order for reader enjoyment!
I was taken on such a journey with this emotional romance, from heart break, to laughter, to surprise, to feeling fully invested, to the heart-warming moments in between, it really was a full circle kind of story.
I love how this author writes with so much detail, leaving nothing to the imagination, I felt so invested in this story and in these characters lives, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything played out after all the tears were shed.
I cannot wait to read more of this amazing series asap!!

This is a rockstar romance and is part of A Thrill Of The Chase series. I loved the author attention to detail and how the characters are written in a way that makes them relatable. Both of the main characters are strong determined people who have their own minds and plans. The story is fast paced and has you hooked from the beginning.
Jared is a member of the band. The band is his whole life. The only other thing more important to him that his band is his dad. With his dad in care Jared struggles with worry about whether his father is getting the best care. When the person who is supposed to following his instructions doesn’t do that Jared is looking to get rid of her. The interactions between Jared and Madison especially at the beginning are full of angst as they both want the same thing. Jared wants his dad looked after and Madison wants to care for him the best she can. It is important for Jared to honour a promise he made and that is his main focus, but when he meets Madison things change. Will they be able to work together to achieve something they both want? As their relationship grows you are taken on a ride that will leave you in tears from both heartbreak and happiness. I was completely taken away with this story and the author’s writing really captives you and drags you into their lives.

This is an author that I have enjoyed from the first book I picked up of hers. I enjoy her writing style as well as her attention to details. She pulls me into her stories from the beginning. This book is no different. This is a rockstar romance story that I really enjoyed. The characters are relatable and brought the story to life. I enjoyed their growth as well as the growth of the plot throughout the story. The characters’ chemistry is great and made them entertaining to read about. This is a story about a guitarist that is part of a band that means everything to him except for his father. He is one person that is more important and not only that but a promise has been made that he needs to keep. Then he meets her and things change for them. The one thing he never expected was to have her come into his life. What happens next you will have to read this book to find out. They are great characters that made the story for me. It is a fast paced, engaging story that I highly recommend.

To be a quick read, it was still oh so amazing! I loved every minute spent reading this Novella! I HAVE GOT to go read the others in the series NOW!! LOVED the setting and that it took place during CHRISTMAS. As a lover of Christmas I was puzzled as to why Amber was such a grinch. As I read more, her painful past was revealed, then I understood why. Gio met Amber and the instant attraction was perfect. After knowing why she was a grinch he made it his sole mission to fix her grinchness. LOL Loved how a new Holly leaf was turned as I continued to read. Gosh Amber and Gio’s love story was too sweet! I may have cried happy tears. Definitely a MUST read!!

I finished this book and would normally come right in and write a review. I couldn’t do that with this one. The very first thing I did was one click book 2. I had to read some of that because it was like I had quit breathing after the first.
I normally shy away from anything too sad, anything to do with anyone having the big “C”. I will say that other readers’ reviews for this book is what reeled me in, and the cover kept drawing me back to it. I’m especially shocked that I chose to read this in the times we are living in.
I was hooked on the first paragraph! I hated every single time I had to put this book down, and it never left my mind till I picked it back up. I was completely shocked that this is this author’s first book. I still can’t believe it. It was written as well if not better than many best selling books out there today. Authors with a whole list of books do not have anything on this author. I can tell this was written with a lot of emotion, care, and love. I felt every bit of that. Will and Tori **sigh** first I’ll start with Tori. I walked in her shoes with her this whole book. I fell to my knees with her through this whole book. Her character was written so beautifully and her strength was everything! She was everything Will didnt want around him, yet needed her even though he fought not to. Reading the building of this connection felt completely natural and I cried alot, lost my breath a lot and worried a lot. I also though smiled, and laughed. The interaction between these two was simple perfection in my eyes.
I also want to mention Jenny, I loved her, her character was very strong in this book. I felt her struggle with things I suspected, being torn the way she was I can’t even imagine and don’t know that Id have had the strength to keep those lines from getting blurred.
I loved this book. I already love this author, and I’m so thankful I read it. It’s not all depressing and sad. It’s a journey of a growing love, and a whole lot of hope that never got lost in the mix. It was a lot of people’s reality, and I am so thankful I have the next one sitting right here on my kindle, because waiting for it would probably ruin me!
Many thanks to this author for giving me this book. I know I will be reading this again in the future. I can confidently say this is one of my top 3 books of 2021!

Anna Paige is the author of the Broken series, the Thrill of the Chase series, and several sexy standalones including Off Script, Holding Out for You, and Tailspin (A Driven World Novel.)
She lives in a rural town in North Carolina where the only activity is the rhythmic color change of the solitary stoplight and a very real threat of being carried away by mosquitoes. The only alternative to terminal boredom is writing, making life interesting if only on the page.
Anna is happily married, with one amazing son and a rescue pup who seems to be part boxer, part goat, and part dingo–but he sure is fun. When she’s not writing, she’s trying to make a dent in her TBR pile. Given that she’s constantly adding new titles to the list, the chances of her ever finishing are slim.

So sweet and perfect for this time of year! Amber is not a fan of the holiday season, she lets her workers do the bare minimum in her bar as far as decorations and her house is the only one on the block without any as well. She doesn’t care for it and is ready to end the year with a big bash to celebrate at her bar. Gio on the other hand is excited to take over his Nonna’s business so she can retire. He soon finds himself wanting to get to know more about this spit fire of a bar owner and why she doesn’t like Christmas. Will Amber let her guard down to Gio and share her secret? Can she put it all aside and start over with this beautiful family that came crashing into her life? I fell in love with this little town so much. Cold creek just sounds beautiful and I would most certainly be on my way there if I could! I highly recommend this to anyone who loves a sweet and steamy Christmas story full of romance, cute family moments and overcoming your past for a better future!

This was so wonderful. I am definitely a sucker for a Christmas romance. Though, this was so much more. This was a family puzzle that was missing a piece. Amber hated Christmas and everything it stood for. It was such a wonderful journey to watch that change in her heart. Giovanni is a single dad to a sweet girl Talia. They show amber the real magic of christmas and help her heal in more than one way. This was such a heartfelt beautifully written story!! Such a great Christmas read!!

I just loved this book. It is a story about two friends who have secretly loved each other over the last decade or so. One of these friends is a rock and roll princess and the other a newly famous member of a rock and roll band. They never let their friendship become more due to the past both of them hold. However, times are changing and both of them feel it is also time for a change, but what does that mean for their friendship? The reason I loved this story so much is for the realistic aspect it held in the sequence of events. There are ups, downs, tragedies, etc. Some time in our life we have all had to make a decision on whether friendship is worth it, worth it to be more, and what it would look like if all went wrong. I enjoyed the characters, their banter, their friendship, and the love they possess while supporting each other’s dreams. The way they carried themselves through the love story is a good lesson for all – support each other’s dreams, lift each other up, and be patient.View all my reviews

This is the first-ever book I have picked up by this author but she did such an amazing job hooking me in from the first page. I felt like she was writing this book about me LOL. I was able to relate so much to Amber and her displeasure at Christmas time. There are so many details that the author used that I felt like I was reading about my own life. Amber, living in a small river town in the Hudson Valley of New York. I grew up and still live in a small river town in the Hudson Valley region of New York. The author just did an amazing job at being relatable to all the characters. Amber is a Christmas season Grinch, who was abandoned by her parents. At the age of 18, she traveled through New York and settled in Cold Creek working in a pub. When the owner is set to retire, he sells the pub to Amber at a price she can’t turn down. After many years of being single Amber is finally accepting her single status when Giovanni enters the small town. The grandson of the beloved baker who is known as Mama to most of the town, there is an instant attraction between Amber and Gio. could this be the year Amber starts falling in love with Christmas? This is definitely a must-read book!!

5 Stars A Cold Creek Christmas (Reigning Hearts, Book 5) by KG Fletcher
I absolutely loved everything about this book from the Cover to the wonderfully written story. This author continues to amaze me with her attention to detail and her characters are well developed and fun, easy to relate to. I’ve been in a funky mood lately and this helped to bring me out. From the moment I started reading I couldn’t put it down until I finished which I did in one afternoon. This is a Contemporary Romance about Amber and Giovanni, she’s the owner of a pub in the small town of Cold Creek. He’s a newly single dad after a not so pleasant divorce. He loves the holidays and is struggling to juggle work and his personal life. Amber wants a family of her own but due to very painful memories of her childhood she just can’t. What will happen when a handsome Italian chef finds his way into the bar? These two make my heart happy and sad at the same time. The attraction is there but can he show her what true family and holiday spirit looks like? You guys I highly recommend reading this book. I absolutely love this author and can’t wait to see what she brings us next.

Sweet small town romance This was a beautifully written romance based in Cold Creek. Amber struggles with Christmas and Gio loves the season. The author delivers a wonderfully heartfelt story and as always makes the reader feel as though they are within the pages. I could feel the atmosphere of the town and magic of Christmas. Highly recommend.

I legit cried! A Cold Creek Christmas brought happy tears to my eyes. I’m an empath so that’s not a difficult task, however it also means that I identified with the characters on a personal level. I’ve recently been reading a lot of random books in series, and I can say I want to go back and read books 1-4 because I guarantee the author will be pulling at my heartstrings with those as well! Though this is Book 5 in the Reigning Hearts series it stands extremely strong as a stand-alone novel as well! Amber, emotionally broken beyond repair or at least so she thinks. Till an unexpected “snowstorm” named Giovanni came into her life, with his daughter Talia. Amber dislikes Christmas, for reasons I won’t disclose because I want you to read it. lol Giovanni seems to make it his mission to turn that around for her, not expecting to fall in love in the process. Now is your chance to take a gander and see what happens between Amber and Giovanni, as well as any difficulties and obstacles that may present themselves along the way. While you’re doing that I’m going to go back and read book 1!
