This non stop urban fantasy was a great read! I loved reading about Harlow’s world and all the others in it. Reading about her and the sword that has anger issues is definitely entertaining. I really enjoyed how descriptive the author was. It made it really easy to visualize all the places and everything in the story! I’m really looking forward to reading the next book in the series!

Harlow comes from a family of bounty hunters and that’s what she’s always known. She like to collect charms as well as sell items that she finds to the highest bidder. She comes upon a sword at one of her locations, and ever since she took hold of it, it’s been a run since. She has to prove her innocence while controlling this weapon. It’s truly a great book to this series.

Harlow, a charm collector spends her days obtaining and then selling illegal artifacts. When a big name in her world gets arrested, she quickly goes to his warehouse to collect anything of interest to her. While there she comes across a sentient sword and shortly thereafter she is a wanted woman on the run. This was urban fantasy at its finest. Excellent world building, really likable characters and spot on pace. May cannot come soon enough. Putting my pre-order in NOW.

I love the originality of this story as well as the details in the storyline. The author gave us a brand new world we can immerse ourselves in. It started a little slow because of the details and introduction to a new world and new characters, but it picked up. A wonderful read that is action packed and funny! Can’t wait to read the next one!

This is the first time I have heard of this author but I love all things magical and decided to give this urban fantasy a try. I am really glad I did though because this book was phenomenal. The character development was wonderful including the sentient sword that the author was able to describe and make the sword come to life in such a way. The world building was fantastic and made it seem as though anyone could visit Luma.
We start off meeting Harlow, your typical human living amongst magical creatures just trying to get by. After losing her parents she uses her dad’s tools of his trade to find her own albeit illegal enterprise in order to survive. She becomes a charm collector which entails showing up after notorious magical artifact collectors are apprehended to loot their stash of magical artifacts and sell them to her own list of clientele. This score was the one she had been waiting for and everything goes smoothly until she follows a hutch and takes the dragon sword. From there her life goes haywire as this sentient sword has a mind of its own and has taken a shine to Harlow. One day it simply vanishes from her apartment and Harlow counts her lucky stars until she is accused of murder and the sword once again finds its way into her possession covered in blood. Now she is on the run and must prove her innocence before she ends up behind bars for a murder she did not commit. This book has it all: action, adventure, plus a good mystery to boot. I would encourage everyone to take a chance on this book, I just know you’ll become hooked just like I was!

Murder Off Route 82 is the third book in the Eve Sawyer Mystery Series by this author. I’m a huge fan of this author and her style of writing will pull you in from the beginning and have you on the edge of your seat trying to figure out what is going to happen next. I highly recommend reading the first two books if you haven’t already, they will give you a better understanding of Eve and how she ended up where she’s at plus they are just as wonderful as this book is. I’m so thankful for stumbling upon this author, she never ceases to amaze me. This one finds Eve freshly off the beach crime and ready for her fall classes to start. But with her newfound fame she seems to have caught the attention of a mom who’s daughter is missing. Eve sets out to solve the mystery and soon finds out the boyfriend is missing as well. Can Eve solve the case and find them both before it becomes a homicide? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I promise you won’t be disappointed especially if you’re a fan of Cozy Mysteries. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

This was an easy read. I enjoyed this it was light and enjoyable. I am not one for mystery honestly but this was entertaining with a very interesting plot. This is book three of a series; however, I understood what was going on with this being the only installment I read. This is a brand new author to me and I appreciated the story. I have read a lot of stories lately with female leads and Eve’s character does not disappoint. Or a fan of this genre but the character development and plot makes the read 100% worth it. Recommended.

This is one of the best reads I have picked up in awhile! Its my 2nd time reading a book by this author, but as always she delivers something very much worthwhile! It is book 3 in the series so I must play catch up, but I know I will have fun along the way.
The main character is Eve, and she is on the hunt to solve this mystery of a missing girl, and her boyfriend. Eve herself is a student and quite a phenomenon in general. This story had many twists and unexpected turns, and each time I felt close I ended up right back where I started. This mystery will keep you on your toes, and keep you with the book open until you get to the end!

This is a paranormal story with some crime mixed into the story. The plotline is engaging and the characters really enhance the story. The story is about Harlow, a charm collector who has bounty hunters for her parents. Her father died because of his work and her mother left town. She said she did not want to follow in her parent’s footsteps. Instead, she developed a knack for charm collecting. That is until she found a gorgeous sword. Her find of a gorgeous sword causes her some trouble. Trouble has found Harlow. This book is an adventure, magic, danger, and suspense. I highly recommend this book to those who are looking for adventure and suspense.

If your looking for a new fantastic murder mystery to leave you on the edge of your seat, then look no further. This is the first book that I have read bu this author but after reading this novel I will definitely be looking for more. The characters were simply amazing and realistic, the plot was beautifully woven, and the mystery is so deep you’ll be furiously flipping the pages to see what happens next. While this book is part of a series it can be read as a standalone, I however loved it so much I’ll be picking up the first two. But personally my favorite thing about this book was all of the plot twists, just when I thought I had everything figured out, one turn of the page would throw in a twist. Murder off Route 82 is the 3rd book in the Eve Sawyer Mystery series. While it does have overlapping characters, it doesn’t really need to be read in order or as a series. It can be enjoyed as a stand alone, as it’s a full story. I always look forward to this author’s books, and never know what to expect. They never seem to turn out the way I think they will, and this was no different. There is a HUGE bomb dropped on us at the very end, out of left field, so to speak. I didn’t see it coming, but it wrapped up the book nicely. The characters aren’t super deep, I didn’t feel any attachment or connection to them, but they are each unique with their own background story. The mystery kept me going, but I felt like the actual reveal of where the girl and her boyfriend were was a little bland and anti-climatic. I was hoping for something more intense, but the bomb previously mentioned made up for it.

I love a book that does a good twisted psychological thriller, but this author literally took that and blew me away and then twisted me around a few more times! I was totally hooked and immersed in the writing and the story and what it gave to me as a reader! Holy crud this was so freaking good! Seriously!!
The book, I found everything really ties in the more you get into it! You get the basics when you first start if your like me you get a bunch of questions and wonder when you first start reading to what is and what came to be sort of thing. I got hooked rather quickly with this book I would say, the thrill of the read was certainly there, and shock and twists literally kept popping up at every turn! Loved this book!
I found often as I read through, I knew the truth of things to say the least, but shortly after I was wrong. This was a constant consistency through out the book for sure. I loved that fine detail. The author did a great engaging psychological book that truly was capable of twisting the reader’s mind, literally every blink of my eyes, I felt shocked and impressed with the writing. The story and the truth as it begins to unfold really keeps you at the edge of the seat. You really need to read this to see what I am talking about and untangle the web yourself! You will not be disappointed, I assure you that!
The book was mesmerizing in all the details it held. The writing was absolutely perfect, and was amazing book of its genre! I could not get enough of this story and its unraveling. What a thrilling read! I love suspenseful stories and this one had me holding my breath while my heart raced! Unpredictable twists and turns had me guessing right until the very last page. Some stories are easy to predict but not this one. This is the dark kind of story that leaves you pondering long after the book has closed. I found myself questioning not only the book but myself and others around me as well. There are very few books that have shaken me the way this one did. Everyone should read this book!

This is another of the Eve Sawyer Mysteries. I’ve loved all these books so far but I think this one is definately a favourite. I love how fast paced the action is. The story starts and builds momentum really fast which keeps it interesting a gripping. This is the 3rd book in the series but it can be read as a standalone.
We are back with Eve who now had returned to her studies. Things seem pretty normal, all she plans on doing is getting good grades. However that changes when a young girl who she knows goes missing. With no clues leading to what happened to her Eve and Bob now have to try and find out what happened and when they realise her boyfriend has gone missing too then worrying questions start to be asked Did her boyfriend have something to do with her disappearance? Is this a missing person or a murder? And if her boyfriend didn’t have something to do with it then what has happened to him?
This book will keep you guessing right up to the end and you will be shocked by what is revealed.

I was excited to jump back into this series, having enjoyed the previous books already. This book I I has to be my favourite one so far. I was instantly pulled into the story and could not put it down. Yet again the author has created a story that is not only interesting but has a depth about it. It was so easy to fall back into these characters and it was so nice to revisit the. I would highly recommend not only this book but also this author.

This was my first experience with this author and I am hooked!!! This was a page Turner. I could not put it down. I am going back and reading the first two!! Murder Off Route 82 is the third book in the Eve Sawyer Mystery Series by Jane Suen. This series follows Eve Sawyer who is a college journalism student with quite a talent for sniffing out a good story, and a bit of danger in the process. This story picks up just after the events in Book Two. Eve is back at university after her summer holiday at Lolly Beach- but we all know how that turned out- instead of relaxing she and her friends spent their time solving a murder mystery. Eve is glad to be back and is excited to start the new school year and get back to ‘normal’. But she’s barely had time to unpack before she’s drawn into a missing persons case that will have Eve racing to follow the leads to uncover what happened to the missing student. Throw in a few dead ends, a ticking clock, danger, an agenda, secrets, lies, and a bit of a twist, and we get a great little suspenseful cozy mystery. If you have not read the previous two books, I recommend that you do, as even though you could read this book without knowing what happened previously- the first two books really help to set the scene, introduce characters, and contain interesting information that I feel will enhance your reading experience of this instalment. I wonder what mystery awaits Eve, and us, in the next book?

This is my first experience with Eve Sawyer, but the 3rd book in the series. I’ll be going back to book 1! This book was easy to follow and a fine stand alone story, but I always enjoy the extra from reading a whole series and having more backstory to characters. This is a really great, fast paced, quick read.

This is a fantastic paranormal novel that will keep you interested from start to finish. It has a bit of everything; intrigue, danger, mystery and magic. The world that this author created is fascinating. Magical cities hidden behind veils, side by side with our cities here on earth. It’s quite interesting. The story takes place in a city called Luma as we follow our main character, Harlow Fletcher. Although she works outside of the law, she collects charms for bounty, she’s one of the good guys. Like most women, she’s attracted to pretty things and on her latest raid, she grabs a beautiful sword. This is where the adventure begins! The sword has a mind of its own and gets her into heaps of trouble.
I thought the characters were cool. Aside from Harlow, my favourite has to be the sword. The action made the storyline flow well and kept me wanting more. This was a fun book to read and I’m really happy that it is a series. I can’t wait to read part two!

This mystery contained very much pure enjoyment. I was drawn and hooked early on. There was a lot of questions rising from me as I read through, though my suspicions were often wrong I found. Which added to the intrigue of course. Loved the personalities of the characters, they were so real and well made!
The mystery and those who surround it did bring on a lot of suspense, I found you were getting a lead in the story then something else pertaining happened and you were lead to think other wise. The author did an amazing job in creating this engaging story. I was very happy and impressed as I read through! What I loved truly beside the wonderful characters, was that nothing really was what it seemed.
My engagement in the story was literally me being on the edge of my seat. I could not get enough of this story and the characters, all the way to the end , I could not put this gripping book down! I needed the facts and to see how this story would turn out! Amazing read!
Loved this mystery. It was different than most I have read, and the writing was amazing as well! The author is defiantly talented at getting the reader in and keeping them interested as well as working their inquisitive minds as they read This was a must read, highly recommend this rare gem of a book!

This book was such an awesome read, even if you aren’t regularly a psychological thriller fan. It is dark, it is beautiful, it is about the different parts of ourselves and who we want to be. There are many moments when it feels obvious what has happened, but you get more nuances and details and find yourself at a loss for guessing the story, over and over.
Control makes people do crazy things – sometimes to seek control, sometimes to let go of it. Aria’s story is so wonderfully woven that you won’t stop thinking about it after you’ve completed the book. This book is about the different parts of her and the occurrences that have led to the telling of her story. The author filled this book with so many excellent zigs and zags, I didn’t want to put it down.

Harlow Fletcher is a magical charm collector in a world similar to ours with magical creatures out in the open. At some point, a portal switch was accidentally flipped and magical creatures (namely deemed “fae”) as well as humans were transported to each other’s worlds. It has been long enough that the world has adjusted and created hubs or citiesof mundane / magical properties. What Harlow does isn’t exactly considered legal and is definitely the risky type that balances on the edge of trouble or safety. She ends up “collecting” a sword that has a mind of its own and the world she knows is sliced to shreds. The world building of this story was so new for having creatures I’ve read about over and over. I definitely appreciated the futuristic feel to it and the book starts out with enough detail it’s like it jumped off screen.

This engaging fast-paced story picks up where the previous book Murder At Lolly Beach left off and Eve Sawyer is back again and doing her thing in this the third book in this cozy mystery story. Whilst this could be read as a standalone, I recommend reading book 1 first to get the back story on this tenacious and quirky young woman. The one thing about this undergrad student is that trouble must be her middle name as she always finds herself in a pickle when trying to help. Eve just wants to get back to normality but when she is sucker punched with all the feels she enlists the help of others but that won’t help when dark secrets come to life and her life once again becomes endangered. This is officially one of the best books I ever read! It is hard to review this genre because anything can give you a clue of what’s going to happen. This was a slow suspended challenging read in the best way. Every page brings questions and you have no idea what is real. Once you finish you still may question reality. Aria is questioning herself, mentally physically emotionally. What is wrong with me? What type of person am I? What is my purpose? Everything you thought you know, you don’t. This author is masterful in creating the idea that you are living through this protagonist. This read is unforgettable, this will have you going back and forth thinking you missed something. The ending is a hit to the gut. Prepare yourself for one of the best reads in this genre. Standing ovation on this I am still amazed.
