Tapped by Tarrah Anders – Review by Crystal Davidson

TappedTapped by Tarrah Anders
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Tapped is Book 3 in its series by Tarrah Anders. I am quickly becoming a huge fan! I unknowingly read a book previously, and am working my way backwards now. This story is placed in Las Vegas. Jenae tends bar at The Essentials and Kai is a Male Dancer hired on at The Essentials. Janae and Kai dated 10 years prior. They met their Junior year in school and dated for 2 years. She broke up with him because he knew exactly what he wanted in life, and it was scary because she wasn’t sure what she wanted, except that it was different than what he wanted. His first night at the Essentials is their first time seeing each other since their breakup. Very soon after they start working together they pick up where they left off. Kai is the only boy/man Janae has ever loved and vice versa. This story is without a doubt for mature audiences. I loved almost everything about this book. Melissa, Janae’s sister lives in New Orleans with her mom. Right off the top she is my favorite character. She’s funny and chipper and I wish there was more of her in this book! That is literally my only complaint! 5 out of 5 stars!

It Ends Tonight by A.M Myers is the 4th story in the Bayou Devils MC series. The story starts when event planner Quinn Dawson is in a car accident and Lucas Smith watches it and comes her aid. Immediately they realize they have a connection, and they try to build a relationship even though the turmoil surrounding them threatens to make their lives rocky. I found this to be a quick, fun read with lots of ups and downs and twists I didn’t see coming! I definitely recommend adding A.M Myers to the read pile!!

Cowboy:Claimed by Various Authors – Review by Crystal Davidson

Cowboy: ClaimedCowboy: Claimed by Melissa Keir
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Cowboy Claimed is a fun accomplilation of quick reads! With this box set you will get action, suspense, second chances, medling mothers, tragedy, romance, and so much more!! What I liked the most was that every book took place in a small town USA where everyone knows everyone and the Sherriff is the kind of guy that goes above and beyond the call of duty. I loved all the main characters, and am excited to look up each author, since all 5 are new to me and discover what else they’ve written. The language is appropriate for all lovers of romance! 4 stars and definitely recommend!

Georgia on my Mind ( Southern Promises Book 2) by K.G. Fletcher – Review by Crystal Davidson

Georgia On My Mind (Southern Promises #2)Georgia On My Mind by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This story is the second installment of the Southern Promises series by K.G. Fletcher. Like the first one, this novel can be read perfectly as a standalone, but makes better sense when read with the series. Hart is unemployed, and living with his sister Katie, who we meet in book 1. Gia is a business owner/dancer/impersonator. They come from different sides of the track and know 2 completely different ways of life. When Hart and Gia hit it off, I was definitely interested in seeing what kinds of ups and downs they experience. This story touched on some real world issues while demonstrating what it means to want to be a better person because of the person you love. I found myself super annoyed by Gia more than once, and kinda in love with Hart just as much. Fantastic read! 5 out of 5 stars!

Georgia Clay ( Southern Promises Book 1) by K.G. Fletcher – Review by Crystal Davidson

Georgia Clay (Southern Promises, #1)Georgia Clay by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Georgia Clay is Book 1 of the Southern Promises series by K.G. Fletcher, and my personal favorite of the 3 novels. It can be easily followed as a standalone, however if you plan to read the series as a series, pay attention to the side characters! This book gives excellent insight and builds up ALL the characters rather than just the leading 2. This book was super easy to get lost in. Once I picked it up, I didn’t want to put it down. Clay is an all out Southern gentleman, and Katie also born in the south, is a city girl through and through! I loved following the ups and downs and uncertainty of both characters as they navigate their relationship. I loved that it was 100% romance, and there was no subplots to detract you from what the book was actually about. 5 out of 5 stars!

Georgia Pine (Southern Promises Book 3) by K.G. Fletcher – Review by Crystal Davidson

Georgia Pine (Southern Promises #3)Georgia Pine by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

K.G Fletcher is a new author for me, and I absolutely loved this story!! Jessica is a newly divorced mom of 4 girls all under the age of 4 . Her ex is a good for nothing real estage mogul that cheated. As Jessica comes to terms with her new reality, the last thing she expects is to meet a man as big as a Georgia Pine, and as helpful and sweet as they come. But like Jessica, he has skeletons in his closet. Tim McGill is Jessica’s gardener, and her saviour, but he has a secret! Who doesn’t love a good secret? This story made me consider the rich a little more than I ever have before. Without giving anything away, let me just say Georgia Pine ( Southern Promises Book 3) is a MUST READ for lovers of romance! 5 out of 5 stars!

Our Next Chapter by Michelle Sullivan – Review by Crystal Davidson

Our Next ChapterOur Next Chapter by Michelle Sullivan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Karalyn and Dez met as children, and started dating in Jr. High School. Karalyn was positive Dez was the man she would have babies and grow old with, even though she was 2 years older than him. Life intercepted her plans, and just before she graduated High School, her mom received a job offer and Karalyn needs to move away. At that point in time, the young lovers vow to find a way to make a long distance relationship work, however sometimes our plans fail. The day Karalyn moves is the last time she sees Dez … until 17 years later.

Our Next Chapter by Michelle Sullivan is a very sweet second chance novel. You will be shocked and angry. You will feel sympathetic and sad. You will say Awwww. And you will laugh. I found it to be a very quick read and give it 5 stars!
Sullivan is a new to me author and I’m looking forward to exploring more novels by her.

Every Breath You Take (Bayou Devils MC #3) by A.M. Myers – Review by Crystal Davidson

Every Breath You Take (Bayou Devils MC 3)Every Breath You Take by A.M. Myers
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Every Breath You Take by A.M. Myers is the third story in the Bayou Devil’s MC series. I have read both books that come before this and loved them both, however this story is my favorite of the 3. Tatem was taught at a very young age how to be aware of the dangers and evils of the world, and how to defend herself against them. She is headstrong and independent. When her mother passes away, Tate is plaqued with more questions than answers, and lands herself in the middle of unknown danger. Lincoln, who is a member of Devil’s Bayou MC, and is devoted to the people he calls family is given the very important job of “watching” Tate, while keeping Tate unaware. That job is harder than he anticipates and it makes for a very thrilling read ! This story has action, suspense, humor, and romance all perfectly interwoven to make an awesome 5 star read!

Addicted to Love (Bayou Devils MC series) by A.M. Myers – Review by Crystal Davidson

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Addicted to Love is book 2 in the Bayou Devils MC series by A.M.Myers and its the story about Chance and Carly, whom we both meet in book 1. Chance is a biker affiliated with a club that helps to rescue women from dangerous domestic situations and Carly is a friend of a woman in a dangerous situation. Chance decides immediately that Carly is different from other women and wants to get to know her. Carly is a survivor of an attack and rape in her teenage years, so is weary of men and doesn’t appear to be easily swayed by Chance’s advances, until she needs his help to rescue her sister. This story has equal parts mystery, romance, action and humor! 5 stars from me and I cannot wait to read the next book in this series!

Famished (Ash Park #2) by Meghan O’Flynn – Review by Crystal Davidson

Famished (Ash Park, #1)Famished by Meghan O’Flynn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Meghan O’Flynn is a new to me author and I’m excited to explore more of her novels, especially the rest of the Ash Park series as Famished is book 1, and I enjoyed it alot! I was a little surprised and put out by the relationships in this story because all of the characters struck me as disconnected from their partners. I didn’t feel any passion or spark, and not just with Hannah. With Noelle as well. This took away from the feelings evoked when tragic events happen, lessening the overall edge of your seat excitement. I think what I liked the absolute most was that all of the characters are eccentric. And I LOVED how many twists are in this story. At no point was I 100% positive who the serial killer was, who was next, or why. 4 out of 5 stars!

Hopelessly Devoted (Bayou Devils MC Book 1) – Review by Crystal Davidson

Hopelessly Devoted (Bayou Devils MC 1)Hopelessly Devoted by A.M. Myers
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hopelessly Devoted is Book 1 in the Bayou Devil’s MC Series by A.M Myers, and the first by this author that I’ve stumbled upon. My first impression when I started this story was that this wasn’t going to be the typical MC type that I’m used to. Without giving away any specific details, i found it to be less of a thriller and WAY more of a romance. I LOVE Logan aka Storm. He is a passionate biker on the straight and narrow, just letting life pass him day by day. He is a shell of his former self, and doesn’t really realize it until he meets his hot blue eyed neighbor Ali. Ali is a journalist who’s been burned by love in the past, and has problems of her own when she meets Logan. While trying to find their way as a couple, the have some serious obstacles to overcome. Loved this story!! I give it 5 stars and am anxious to read book 2!

Tightrope 2 by Maddie Wade – Review by Crystal Davidson

Tightrope: Book 2Tightrope: Book 2 by Maddie Wade
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Tightrope 2 is a continuation of Tightrope by Maddie Wade. The main characters are Hunter and Lexi. Lexi has some struggles leftover from her previous relationship that hinder and endanger her, as well as endanger her son, whom is fathered by Hunter. This story is told from the POV of both characters, and I really liked that! I also LOVED that this story was equal parts steamy, and suspenseful! At no point was I bored. This story is definitely intended for mature readers! Tightrope is the first work I have had the pleasure of enjoying by Maddie Wade, and I give it 5 stars!!

The Blogger and the Hunk by Jane Matisse – Review by Crystal Davidson

The Blogger and the HunkThe Blogger and the Hunk by Jane Matisse
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Fantastic story!! Penny loves her job, her parents, her sister, her 2 best friends, and her books. Happy in her own company, the last thing she’s anticipating is her unwanted feelings for Jack. In a perfect world, her one night stand would have been just that, however fate doesn’t always cooperate with what we want or plan. I can say it’s not often I don’t automatically like the male counterpart of a romance novel, but Jack took some time warming up to. Penny comes off as a quiet, inexperienced introvert. Jack a loud, opinionated player. They make an unlikely couple, and right off, I felt like Penny was better suited to someone with similar interests as herself. By the end, my opinion changed. I found this to be a quick read, with several twists keeping you hooked and anticipating what’s to come next. 5 stars and looking forward to reading more by this author!

Flirt: A College Romance ( What Happens on Campus #2) by M.L Sparrow – review by Crystal Davidson

Flirt: A College Romance (What Happens on Campus #2)Flirt: A College Romance by M.L. Sparrow
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Loved Loved Loved it!! Flirt is Book 2 in the What Happens on Campus series by ML Sparrow and I found it to be fantastic! I was drawn to Riley and her insane drama as she tries to reason with her lost career, her new found drug addiction, her role at college, and her new and extremely unlikely relationship with Cameron. She not only puts herself in dangerous situations time and time again, but she brings all the others around her crashing down too. Although I couldn’t relate to Riley, I am more than sympathetic to Cameron and how devoted he is to keeping her safe as well as on the straight and narrow, while also finding a way to maintain the same level of love and respect for her, at the same time as watching her destroy herself. I’m crazy excited to read what comes next in this series! 5 stars!
