Shadow (Devil's Handmaidens MC-Book Two)Shadow by D.M. Earl
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Zoey “ Shadow” Jeffries is the main character in this dramatic series. She is the enforcer for an all-female MC. This is book 2 of 5. I will tell you that this book had my attention from the beginning. Zoey, “Shadow” was sold into slavery as a child. She is determined to not let it happen to any other girls. So she and her bestie (Goldilocks) create an all females MC to help bring those who intentionally cause harm to little girls. She meets a Navajo horse rancher who determined to help protect trafficked victims just like their group Devil’s Handmaidens MC. There is so much more to Shadow that meets the eye. You will realize that as you read her story and you may feel a connection to her while learning more about her, I know that I did. It’s romantic, drama, tragic, and filled with women who know how to kick butt when it is necessary. This is a series that I really want to continue to read and in fact I am going to read book 1 “Tink” soon. D. M. Earl clearly has a way with getting my attention with this MC books.

Shadows story will have you in tears and angry all at the same time. I could never imagine how someone could survive with everything she has gone through for years. Thank goodness Tink came into her life or she may not be here now. Everyone at the ranch has their own painful story but I believe Shadow (Zoey) has seen and been through the worst of the filth of humanity.

We all know from book 1 that Tink and Shadow and besties that will be there for each other no matter what. One would give their lives for the other and that is definitely tested in this book. Panther is Shadows’ fancy underwear secret. He will have her back no matter what. When Panther makes a deal to save a few girls all heck breaks loose. This is a must read.

Tink (Devil's Handmaidens MC-Book One)Tink by D.M. Earl
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Oh my my, this was an amazing book. When reading the back of the book summary I had a preconceived idea of how the book would play out. I was wrong and pleasantly surprised as well.

Tink is a force to be reckoned with even though she is in a tiny package. She has a mountain on her shoulders dealing with the ranch. Her heart tears a little bit after every rescue. It’s a wonder she is coping at all. She is the Prez of the Handmaiden MC. She is the daughter of a prez as well. Everyone will need to come together to save the day.

“Noodle”, “L”, Ellington, is a Navy SEAL who is in Montana helping a Seal with an animal rescue. All military personnel have a lot of mental issues to deal with when they come home. It plays on the mind.

So much happens in this book. I was so tense when someone was coming for Tink. She is on someone’s hit list. These people are brutal. A few parts had me in chills and revolted at the same time. If you love a very suspenseful book with a definite edge, you will enjoy this book.

Please trigger warnings.

This is the second book in this series and it is even better than the first one. This is such a gritty and intense story it will really pull you into from page one. There is so much going on with this book it will keep you on the edge of your seat, unable to stop reading.
I absolutely love the characters in this book, and not just the main ones. All of the supporting characters have such a strong input into the book and really add to the overall storyline. These are all the kind of characters I could read about all day and not get bored. This is shaping up to be an incredible series and I cannot wait to get my hands on book 3.

I really enjoyed reading Shadow. The author had my attention from the very first chapter. This book was about suspense romance with action, drama, and so much more. The women in the story took crap from no one. The storyline had you wanting to know what happens next. I didn’t want to put the book down at all. The world building was amazing. The characters and plot was well thought out. Great job!

Shadow is the second book in the Devil’s Handmaidens MC series. This book refers back to things that happened in the first book, but to me read as someone would still enjoy it and not feel lost even if they had not read Tink. The author focuses on Tink’s best friend and club enforcer Shadow in this book. We learn more about Shadow’s past and exactly why she is the way she is. I recommend this series to anyone who enjoys MCs but I do recommend reading the author’s trigger warnings. Can’t wait for more of this MCs story.

My first book by this author and she left a great impression. This is the first female MC book I have read. Tink was raised in the MC world but has created her own whose main focus is rescuing victims of human trafficking. I loved the character development and how the author gave us action and romance. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Shadow is the second book in the Devil’s Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter series by D.M Earl. After reading the first book, “Tink”, I was expecting this book to be harrowing, but Ms. Earl didn’t mess around- she went for straight for the jugular with this story, masterfully shredding my emotions along the way…..
This is another thrilling MC romance- a romantic suspense with triggers, dark themes, heart-wrenching emotion, drama, damaged characters, friendship, family, chemistry, tension, intensity, and finding love unexpectedly.
Shadow, OMG- what a survivor she is- what a story she has to tell! She’s Tink’s best friend (whom we met back in book one), and the Enforcer of the Devil’s Handmaidens MC. She’s a tough cookie, but she has endured so much in her life, survived against the odds. She has a mission to protect the vulnerable and to prevent the innocent from being abused by depraved predators. She has her best friend, and the MC- and her quest. Meeting a hunky horse rancher brings unexpected complications, of the emotional kind. What happens makes for a compelling read!
I can always count Ms. Earl to deliver a heart-pounding, emotional, and tense read- and Shadow’s story takes things up a few notches. I was so engrossed in the story, invested in Shadow (and Panther) right from the outset, that I read the whole book in one sitting.
Can’t wait for ‘Tas’ (Book #3)!
Happy Reading…

Thank you, D.M. Earl!

This was a great 5 star read. This author has become a must read for me. I really liked Zoey, she was a strong character that went through some tough times. The fact that she was running her own MC with all women was great. When she meets Panther they connect on many levels and give us a heck of a story. I really liked all of the characters, they added a great element to the story. We get edge of your seat moments along with some steamy ones. The author pulls you right in with her writing. This is the 2nd book in the series but you can read it as a stand alone, but I suggest starting with book 1. If you’re looking for a great MC read, 1-click and get started today.

This was another wild, edge of your seat thrill ride from the Devils Handmaidens Motorcycle Club series. This series is a viewpoint from an all female motorcycle club rather than the typical all male motorcycle club, which I love as well, but I thought this take was refreshing. After enjoying book number one I became a little attached to Shadow (Zoey) and was incredibly excited that she would be featured in book two and we would get to hear a lot more of her story. This book was all that and more. I also really enjoyed the inclusion of Panther and the Navajo aspect that he brought to the story along with his own troubles he was working through. I will absolutely be continuing with this series and this author.

This is the second installment of Devil’s Handmaids MC and I have to tell you that D.M. Earl did it again. This book could stand alone but you really need to read the first one to get the feeling of the characters. Even though this book focuses on Shadow and her issues with the pedophile ring. Shadow is the second book in the Devil’s Handmaidens MC which is an all-female MC thriller series. I really love the cover on this book and I loved the story. I enjoyed the first book and was looking forward to Shadow’s story. This is my favourite.
It is raw, dark and gritty and not an easy read but it is a captivating read. It is jam packed with danger, action, suspense and tension.
Shadow has lived in a nightmare. A life that no one should have ever be a part of. A young girl caught in the clutches of evil. Forced into a life in the shadows. She was born into the shadows. Now she has become the Shadow. She the Enforcer of the club she is someone to be feared, someone who gets things done others won’t. Revenge can be sweet……….
It’s a wonder that Shadow and Panther have found their way to one another.
I look forward to reading so much more from this series.

This is my favourite book by this author so far. It was heartbreaking and heart lifting all at the same time. We’ve met Tink a few times in the Grimm Wolves series and I’m so glad the author decided to start this one. Tink is strong, independent and goal oriented. After being traumatized as a child, she has decided to make it her life’s mission to save as many as she can from human traffickers. A daring and noble mission filled with danger. She has almost everything that she wants or so she thought until Noodles walks into her life. He’s strong and caring and has been through enough rough patches to understand her. When Tink’s past catches up to her, can her club and Noodles keep her safe?

This is an amazing book which had me crying on several occasions. This is a fantastic start to what will definitely be an amazing series. I highly recommend reading this book!

I am loving the Devils Handmaidens series. This is the second book in the series. I loved the first book and will definitely be reading all the following books as they come out. However, I will tell you that this one definitely would work as a standalone if you haven’t read the first one. I love everything that this club stands for. This book is definitely not for the faint of heart. It is definitely a fast paced book. I loved Shadow. She is the heroine who has overcome a lot and still is a work in progress. Panther is a Navajo rancher and is the one to see past everything in Shadow’s past. Panther is the first person to really get her to consider opening up. This book had me hooked from the first sentence and didn’t let me go until the last. I definitely recommend picking this one up!

This is the second book in the Devil’s Handmadien MC. As with the first book in the series this is a really dark gritty story. If follow Shadow who is one strong woman. She comes across as scary especially being the MC’s enforcer, however like with most members we’ve met in the MC groups she is this way for a reason and her story is a heartbreaking one. The author does an amazing job of telling Shadows story in a way that is respectful but allows the reader to experience the pain and sorrow she went through.
Now along with her friend Panther they are trying to uncover and stop the trafficking rings. Shadow wants to help other girls falling victim like she did. Shadow is one very broken individual who is trying everything in her power to heal herself from the physical and mental scars left behind and she does this with the help of her new family.
Panther is shadows other half even if she won’t see or admit it. He knew from the moment he met her that he wanted her and no matter what she throws at him he never gives up. Together they work on stopping the trafficking rings but Shadow isn’t the only one holding on to past mental and physical scars.
Can Shadow and Panther learn to work through their demons and help to heal each other? Or are some scars just incapable of healing?

This story is action packed, full of danger and at times a heartbreaking read. You can’t help but feel for both Shadow and Panther as they struggle with not only the dangers around them but also the demons they are still left to fight.
It’s another amazing read in this series and I hope they keep on coming.

Another fantastic story from this author! This is darker and grittier than the last. This one is Shadow’s story and not for the faint of heart. She has obviously had a difficult life but I did not know the half of it until I read this book. I enjoyed watching her change a bit, grow and want more out of her life. I loved meeting the new peeps. They are a couple of guys who have been through a whole heap together. They are dangerous and sexy alphas who are more than what they seem.

The action and suspense that fills the pages of this book are off the charts. There are high highs and low lows that kept me turning pages. Good second story of the series. I look forward to more!

There is nothing better than a story about Motorcycle Clubs. Well okay! How about Motorcycle Clubs run by women? Shadow is the enforcer in this club. She has no problem taking out those who come across her path. Shadow ( Zoey) lives with her past, making her who she is. She is strong and independent. She does however have her best friend who has shown her what family is all about in this MC. Her one goal is to take out those that harm others. No Problem! Pather has stepped into her life and shows her how to trust and love again. But it is not as easy as I make it sound! The author that wrote this standalone, as well as part of the series, has once again impressed me. The true to life events bring the story to the forefront of our minds. While this is only a story it makes you feel you are watching the story as it takes place. The characters are strong and independent. The story is fast paced and will keep you reading. The events in this story will bring all your emotions out. I was unable to put this one down. You can be sure I will be waiting for the next story in this series.

This book is so intense and full of action and suspense. I had to remind myself to breathe. You might a trigger warning up front. These ladies are helping rescue others from the skin trade. Dealing with the abuse issue can make reading it a little hard but this is a real issue. These are some strong, kickass ladies. Shadow has been to hell and back. She likes Panther and he’s there for her. They seem to be working out there issues. The question is, can she truly live life for her? This author writes the best dang MC books I’ve read that remain with you even after you’re done. The sick, twisted creep playing the game with her is messed up. She just rolls with it. I loved the end of the story. She deserved an HEA. I can’t wait to read what comes out next. I thought Grimm’s Wolves was my favorite but these ladies kicked them to the curb. I love seeing how they overcome their challenges and get that second, maybe third chance. Don’t’ give up. Great story. You can read it as a standalone. I think it’s better in order.

Tink (Devil's Handmaidens MC-Book One)Tink by D.M. Earl
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The action in this book never ends. It grabs you by the throat and keeps a good grip until the end. WOW!!!

Tink knows the harsh realities of being a sexual assault survivor. Tink, Shadow, and few friends have created a Motorcycle Club that helps break up sex trafficking rings, and then helps the survivors find their way. This is her mission, her life’s goal. When Tink starts being stalked by an unknown past, she is forced to face more than just this threat.

Tink is joined by several colorful characters, her best friend Shadow, her wanna-be boyfriend Noodles, her father Tank, and other various friends. The characters are so realistic and natural that you forget that they are fictional. I didn’t need another MC series in my life, but this one found me. Grab me a kutte, find me a road name, I am a Handmaiden sister for life!!!

Tink: (Devil’s Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter)

I’m pretty picky when it comes to reading about an MC, there are only a couple that have kept me interested until now. An all female MC really peaked my interest so I thought I would give it a try. So glad I did, this is definitely a series I will be keeping up with.

Tink has quite the back story which sucked me in and wouldn’t let me go. She has dealt with a lot but never let it or the fact she is a woman stop her. She has surrounded herself with some incredibly strong fearless women which I love.

L is exactly what Tink needs. He isn’t afraid of her but respects her and it shows. But he is also willing to jump in the middle if necessary no matter the situation.

This author is new to me, but I looked at her catalog and found a few more to read and I have already put the release date in for the next book in this series. I have a feeling these women are going to become close friends of mine.

**Trigger Warnings: Human Trafficking & SA**
I’m a sucker for badass females and D.M Earl has delivered! I will say though…this book needs to come with trigger warnings because right off the bat it throws some very gnarly stuff the readers way. I am not usually triggered (typically because I’ve read the warnings and have been able to prepare myself) but this caught me off guard and I actually had to put the book down and take a minute to collect myself. Now, I’m sure it’s not that way for everyone, but be warned there is talk of human trafficking and SA. Like I said, I would have been fine if there had been a trigger warning just letting me know.
I absolutely love the way Earl develops her characters. They have this tragic backstory and instead of breaking them, they take it and use it to make themselves strong and resilient but not hardened. And I love a well-rounded female badass who is tough and independent, but doesn’t let that stand in the way of being vulnerable. The heat between Tink and Noodles is a perfect sizzle. I love how Earl uses this first book in the series to introduce us to many of the characters we will see in the follow-up books without loosing focus of Tink and Noodles.
The plot line of this book is an emotional one and sometimes it’s hard to read, but D.M. Earl does it tastefully and respectfully. I love the premise of an all-female MC bringing down these horrible trafficking rings, rescuing the people, and bringing them back to their ranch to recover. Add to it that most, if not all, of the females in the MC have tragic backstories themselves, and it just means that much more.
I really do recommend this book and I can’t wait to read the others in the series. Just please be warned…there are very sensitive topics discussed.

I love a good love story. I also love a good heroic story. This book has amazing characters tied into an even better plot. This is the first all female MC book I have ever read and it did not disappoint. There does need to be a trigger warning regarding sexual assault. As strong women do, Tink takes to helping human trafficking victims after going through her own traumatic experience.

Noodles comes into the picture and turns Tink’s world upside down. Or is it really the other way around? Regardless, these two are a cute duo trying to find themselves and help each other. I truly loved everything about this book and highly recommend to anyone who enjoys romantic novels.

Victims become survivors. Pain and suffering becomes winning and strength. Read Tink to see a tragedy become a love story with hope and retribution.

I love a strong female MC who goes beyond her past to make a better future, not only for herself but for others around her.

Through this book I couldn’t stop yelling “go Tink” throughout this book and cheering her on. I kept turning the page, and saying one more chapter. Then I realize what time it is and that I should REALLY go to bed.

D.M. Earl wrote this outstanding, page turning book, that I could not put down and I cannot wait to read more in the series. I cannot believe how great the storyline is, outside of the romance. Just what Tink was doing for herself and others around her. I immediately fell in love with Tink as the character and you could not ask for a better person!
