Part two of this story is heart breaking. It has many explicit violence, sexual situations, disturbing situations related to the mental and emotional state of a person and taboo subjects, offensive language, and very mature subject matter. Recommended for age 18 and above . It’s a highly emotional book and I’d suggest reading it alone because it a roller-coaster of emotions. Triad Resumption, Part Two is the sixth book in the Grimm Wolves MC series by D.M Earl. After the events in the previous book, I really couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book and to finally have the second part to the story. What we started in A Tormented Man’s Soul held me in its grip and played with my emotions- so when this second part to the story landed on my Kindle, I put aside everything else and jumped right in. Chains is the enforcer for the Grimm Wolves, a tormented man, and after everything he has been through his fight still isn’t over yet. He will need to face his demons, deal with the past, and uncover the enemy before he can embrace his future. Let the action begin! As this is the second part to the story we started in A Tormented Man’s Soul, you will need to read that book before starting on this one. I also really recommend reading the rest of the series too, as there are recurring characters, other pertinent information, backstory, and important details contained in those 5 books that will help you to better appreciate this instalment. I am so glad I could go straight onto reading this after book 5 as there is a definite cliff hanger. Chains has been found but he is in a critical situation. Winnie and Jackson are left waiting to hear if their man will survive, and are unable to do anything to help, they know not only that he is physically in a bad way and in need of medical assistance but they know that mentally he will be in a very bad place. They are unsure if he will recover and come back to them. We are introduced to Pussy and continue to learn about Wild, and Tinks and her female MC. As well as being introduced to Thor and Mavis who both have deep issues in their past. On returning home the story continues as there are attacks and continuance of the MCs trying to find who is behind all of the troubles. We follow Chains, Jackson and Winnie, as well as the MCs as they work together to get answers and bring down a child trafficking and paedophilia ring. And we discover how Chains, Jackson, Thor and others are involved. This book like its predecessor continues to be dark but deep and pulls you along on this very engaging rollercoaster of highs lows and sharp turns.

This book grabs you, drags you in, throws you around and spits you out. The characters and storyline is deep. A Dark Romantic Suspense is exactly what it is, and some people may find it has triggers. WE follow Chains (Nicky), Jackson and Winnie and their triad relationship, digging up the past and moving onto the future. Their abusive and dramatic past, in care (where they are abused both sexually and mentally) is brought to the present when Chains is abducted and his past comes repeats itself. Winnie and Jackson are fraught waiting for news of the third member of their triad. The MC family pull together to find their missing Enforcer, support his family and are shocked to hear what they have lived through and why they are as close as they are. There is a big veil of uncertainty as no one knows who is behind the abduction, it is someone who knows the threesome and their past, someone who has access to people and places, and someone who does not have morals, and they are not above hurting children or adults. Can they get the answers they need to solve the issue and find their missing man? Other MCs come to their aide and I hope that the author expands the books to include these amazing characters. We meet people from Chains past that were assumed dead, people who are survivors and supporters of in these situations. This book is amazing and I am glad I can go straight on to read the second part as the story certainly needs to be concluded. I found it difficult to put the book down, but found myself needing to take a break as the dark side of the writing needed to sink in.

This was such an intense book! I felt all the emotions while reading this book, I couldn’t put it down. I was stuck to the edge of my seat turning page after page just wanting more. This is the continuation of Winnie, Chains, and Jackson’s story. I fell in love with this series because of passion that is burning inside of these three characters. Each person in this series has a story to tell and I definitely feel like this triad’s story has just begun. It started in book 5 but we find out more about Winnie, Chains, (aka Nickolas), and Jackson and how their love for one another happened. I honestly can’t wait for the next book. This book literally had me on pins and needles during parts that I felt so much pain for all them. If you ever doubted that this series can’t grasp you, you definitely need to reread it. I feel like I need more from D.M. Earl as well as more of Chains and Nickolas.

This book was intense. It picks up where a Tortured Man’s Soul finished and brings you on a whirlwind ride. I was constantly on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next. Chains literally went through hell and back. My heart broke for him. He has evolved so much throughout this series. I was happy to see that he got his head out of his behind and realized what’s truly important in life. I enjoyed the introduction of new characters especially Tink and Shadow. I’m hoping to read more about them. I’d love to know more about Shadow’s story. This book was amazing but cannot be read as a stand-alone. You must read this series in order. Readers must be warned that there are lots of triggers and scenes of sexual violence.

This is part 2 in the series and after all the trauma and heartbreak from the first one I was dying to get this one to see how the story ends. These books can’t be read as a standalone. You really need to read all the books in order to get the full feel of all the characters and their stories. This book is very emotionally charges and has some elements with maybe a trigger for people. The author handles all these situation in a way that is respectful but eye-opening at the same time. My heart broke for Chains for all he went through and continues to go through but the love that Jackson and Winnie have for him is so strong and you feel that through this story.
Chains has been rescued but he is in a really bad way. After all the abuse and trauma he suffered at the hands of his abductors he needs to do a lot of healing both physically and mentally. Things start to look up for him. He decides to embrace his romance and love for both Jackson and Winnie, his brothers are accepting of it as well which makes him happy. However as good as things are Chains can’t let go and be happy until he knows who wanted to torture him to death and why? Now with the help of his MC brothers and Winnie and Jackson, Chains now needs to face his demons as his past comes back to haunt him and he’s not prepared to allow anyone he loves to get hurt. This story is very brutal to read in parts but you really get the full sense of the MC brotherhood as they all band together to protect their own. I loved this story so much I can’t wait to see who’s story we will hear next

This is a story written by an author that I have loved reading from the first book I picked up. This is the sixth book in this series and the best yet. I highly suggest reading the previous books in this series to help your enhancement of this series and the characters. I enjoy this author’s writing skills where they are able to bring the story to life with their attention to details. This is a great series that you don’t want to miss. The characters pulled me into the story from the start. I found them to be relatable and supportive of each other. This is a fast paced story that is hard to put down. There is great growth of the characters and the plot which made the story easy and entertaining to read. A story where taking care of personal threats could change who you are. The question remains will it change you or will you be the same person? Will everyone except who you are? This is such a great story and I just loved reading it. I highly recommend reading this book, series and author.

I was so excited to start reading this book. After thr first part I knew I had to find our how it was going to end and this book definitely did not disappoint. It was just as intense ans gritty as I was hoping for. There are so many emotions in the book and you feel each and every one of them. I couldn’t wait for this book to come out and I was not disappointed. It is one intense ride. Triad Resumption is a dark and powerful paranormal MC romance and the sixth book in the series. Book 5 A Tormented Man’s Soul: Part One was raw and gritty and broke my heart and this one is just the same. It is full of emotions, pain, and sorrow, heartbreak, and crushed and tormented soul and all the feelings are palpable as we journey along on this fight.
I recommend reading all the previous books in the series. There are all the other MC characters along with their backstories and other important information you should know before starting this book.
Chains is a complex man and his torment didn’t stop after his rescue; he is a broken and haunted man. Now he must face the demons of his past to have a future he wants. With his MC brothers, Jackson and Winnie at his back he must become the dark heartless, ruthless, and violent enforcer to find the enemy.

This was part 2 which picked up where A Tormented Man’s Soul left off. This book takes you for an intense adventure with Chains and the rest of the Grimms Wolves MC. I have read this series since the beginning and I love the action, adventure, romance, and suspense that come with it. This book delivers sooo much into the story and gives us insight and backstory into the story of Chains, Winnie and Jackson. Every character has their own quirks and personality. What makes the story so fantastic is that that author carries each person over to each book and it’s just like the story continues with different perspectives. They are all one big family. The plot always flows smooth, even from book to book. No choppiness. There will be plot twists or surprises and I do enjoy those. This is one of my favorite MC series. I enjoy the series because of the writing. I can feel the emotion in the writing. I am looking forward to the next new book.

This amazing author has done it again! I have loved this series since book one, and part one of this book was mind blowing, and this one I must say exceeded my expectations! Loved it so freaking much!
I loved this one takes place where we left off with Chains. Winnie and Jackson also had a very important role in this story. I loved this book that when you think you got stuff figured out, more things happen. The darkness that comes from within was really deep. The secrets, you name it! I was hooked. The author does such an amazing job in writing their books! I am always hooked! With this installment specifically, I laughed, cried, and I felt so freaking much! I loved that aspect so much. The book and conclusion to this book was deep, and as a reader and fan, that was exactly what I wanted! This book was a truthfully amazing read!
I loved this installment so much! If you have not read part one, or other books, please go back and read them! I highly recommend this must read book, as well as author! Very much a high recommendation!

Book 5 in the series we are following chains this time the enforcer whom has his own set of secrets. Never any trouble until he’s forceful taken. His past was never a problem until now he had a tough upbringing in Foster care but made two great friends through it as well. This is a very gripping book and it keeps you on an edge. A Tormented Man’s Soul (Book 5) by D.M. Earl is literally the amazing. I loved this book from start to finish (well almost finished meaning there is part two). I can’t wait for the next part to come out. Until then, I am going to read Books 1-4. So in this book, it’s a story of Nicky (aka Chains), Jackson and Winnie. I really wished I had started the series from Book 1, I did connect with Nicky in this story. It’s so relatable to things that could happen. I don’t want to give anything away, but I will tell you that you will feel how Nicky/Chains feels. You will want to cry knowing part of his story and part of Jackson and Winnie’s stories as well. I definitely don’t think their story is over yet.

I really felt for him, but there were times I wanted to shake him. His past and secrets reallly weighed heavily on his soul. Secrets can be so toxic as we discover, add plenty of tension, danger, angst, and heartaching emotion and this story kept me completely invested in all the developments, right till the end- leaving me clamouring for more. The story is set to continue in the next instalment, so I will be diving into that as soon as it hits my Kindle. I am thoroughly enjoying this series. This is Chains story, he is the Enforcer of the Grimm Wolves MC. Chains has been through a lot in his life from growing up in an awful foster home which has left him scarred. Jackson and Winnie are the two people who helped through the hardest time of his life and the three of them are extremely close. Chains has been hiding a part of his life from his MC family. This book is full of emotion, suspense, love, family, danger and so much more. This author draws you right into the story and keeps you entertained through its entirety. I cannot wait for the next part because I am now hooked and need to know what happens. This is a book and series you don’t want to miss out on.

Once again our author delivers us a wonderful book full of pain, heartbreak, suspense, and so much sorrow that you better have a box of tissues on hand. Much like the previous books in this series this book is a definite page turner and of course I find myself wanting more due to this one ending in a cliff hanger. The plot is perfectly written and the character development is incredible. Personally this is becoming one of my favorite series and I can’t wait to see what our author gives us next.

This is one of the best series I have read in a long time. The characters are amazingly strong with depth and heart. You wouldn’t think it about a MC club, but I love how they interact with friends and family. Don’t get me wrong, there is plenty of violence and mayhem. This is Chains, Winnie and Jackson’s story and it is wonderfully thought out. I feel the character’s pain and triumph. I couldn’t put this book down. My only disappointment is I have to wait a little while for Part 2. Truly Excellent Read!

Talk about a total raw gut punch….this book!! Such a good book, but such a roller coaster of so many emotions on this. Nicholas aka Chains is the Grimm Wolves MC enforcer, but he is tormented by his past that is hard to let go. He tries to keep his MC life and his romantic life separate and when things really turn and Chains is held captive. Will the Grimm Wolves find Chains before it is to late, especially since they are unaware of his past and his present romantic life with Winnie and Jackson?
The book really got me, just truly dark and at times hard to read, but I needed to read this story and see how Chains’ life really was from growing up to present. I cannot wait until part 2!!

WOW! Intense is the word I would use to describe this story! I would also say it is a bit dark, devious and shows the heart of family and friends. There are very powerful emotions that are felt by the characters as well as the reader. I devoured this book in record time and now am eagerly awaiting the continuation.
The characters are deep and we get a look at their pasts and present. Chains had me in agony for him more than once and I did tear up. I enjoyed the viewpoints, thoughts and feelings from others either in the MC or people they come across. It really shows how endless the love is in this story.
I have mixed feelings about the female of the triad. I am hoping she redeems herself and grows a backbone in the second half. She just seemed very wimpy but maybe i am missing something. She doesn’t need to be hard, just not so much crying, maybe some strength. That is my only negative critique about the story.
As stated above I am looking forward to seeing what happens. I would recommend starting this series at the beginning as it has a continuous story run throughout all books. It is worth it…trust me!

This book easily had to be my favourite of the series so far. I couldn’t put my finger in exactly what but something really resonated with me about this story. The emotion entrenched in this story completely takes over everything. It felt like this book, and these characters, completely enveloped me. This author really does know how to write gritty and intense stories that just take over your senses. This book is absolutely incredible and I could not recommend it highly enough.

Wow! A heartbreaking story of childhood trauma and the love that transcends that trauma will leave you shocked and emotional. Chains was in the foster system and endured severe trauma. This isn’t for the faint of heart. Not all of it is a good feel read. It seems like his life is so full of suffering. While it isn’t a fun read, I am glad I read the story. This was my first book in the series so I will be going back and starting at beginning of the series. I want to know everyone’s story now.

Chain’s story is heartbreaking. This installment of The Grimm Wolves MC had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. It was absolutely heart wrenching to read about all that Chains went through in the foster care system. He’s the enforcer and is supposed to be big and tough and he is but there’s a softer side of him too. He’s pushing away those he loves the most because he’s worried about what will happen if it all comes out. This book has so many twists and turns that I didn’t see coming and the end had me gasping out loud and dying to read the next part of this story!

This is book 5 of the Grimm Wolves MC series. A culmination of the first 4 books but the main story is about Chains, Jackson and Winnie. Wow! It is intense, powerful,.steamy and twisted; but also, heartfelt and romantic. Chains is the enforcer for the gang. He is taken and secrets that he has kept hidden (or thought he kept hidden) for years are coming to light. He goes through some serious challenges. Can he get over his trust issues and let down the walls to let Jackson and Winnie all the way in? Can he let the brothers in? Again, the author pulls you into the story. She writes in such a way that you are totally engaged in the story. The POV, tone and plot are all just perfectly intertwined. I hated to put down my reader to take care of life. The book is so action packed. I didn’t see the twist at the end. She has me holding on at the cliffhanger until part 2 comes out in June 2022. That cliffhanger was POW!!! I loved it, didn’t see it coming. I recommend this book for those over 18 that like action, romance and MC clubs.

This is the 5th book in this series and I love it. I always get hooked on a good MC series. This book was so raw and dark I could not put it down I needed to know what came next, it will have you hanging on the edge. Can’t wait for the next book.

Yesssssss. This was the best book so far omg I cried and screamed and stopped for a break. When Iron starts prospecting with the Grimm Wolves MÇ, he feels like he has found a safe haven with his club brothers and their families. As they open their hearts to not only him but to his daughter, Everly, and his baby momma, Joy, he feels a sense of security for the first time since all the lies began. This is a beautiful, adventurous, action packed quick read that touch’s the soul. This author is a master of creativity. I fell in love with this story,it gave me Dear John vibes. This is a must read perfect for book club. As the fourth book in the series I am convinced they you can read them separately and still understand the vibe. I truly appreciate a good book, and this is five stars easy.
