This is the first book I’ve read by Danielle Jacks, but it is FAR from the last! I am blown away by the raw emotions that were so vividly painted in this story. I’m always a fan of books told in dual point of view, so this was right up my alley. Rose and Titan have an unspeakable connection that you can feel right away. I was reading quickly to see what would happen next and taken on twists and turns throughout this rollercoaster. I am absolutely going to pick up other books by this author because she has created an amazing world that I just can’t get enough of. If you enjoy paranormal romance reads, this one is definitely for you so don’t pass it up!

I enjoyed this paranormal romance with some twists, turns, spicy connection, secrets, drama and deceit… covens and magic! This author never hesitate to pick up anything she writes and I definitely recommend this book.

What happens when there is a connection between two people from two different covens…knowing that they only wants one thing from each other….this is Rose and Titan. Rose is part of the Wolfbane Coven and Titan is prince of the Dutchmen coven…technically enemies as there is a curse at each coven and they feel like the opposite coven is responsible of that curse. When Titan’s mother has a ball gathering at their castle, she wants Titan to pick his future wife, they need a heir. Rose is there vying to get closer to Titan…but only to get back the moonstone to lift their curse. Will both Rose and Titan get what they want and lift their home covens curse?

I loved the characters in this story…Rose is a great heroine and I loved her strength…and Titan grew on me, at first he was a bit standoffish and cold. I loved the spice between Rose and Titan.

A paranormal romance between Rose from the Wolfbane coven and Titan from the Dutchman coven. A feud between the two covens due to the Dutchman coven stealing the precious moonstone from the Wolfbane coven years ago. Titan is searching for a wife now that he is of age, and Rose along with several other suitors are at the Dutchman coven to see if they connect. Rose is also hoping they match so that she can bring the moonstone back to her people. Will Rose manage to help her coven? I liked the book although it was somewhat slow moving in the beginning. The characters are well written.

It all started with a ball, a ball where hand picked and eligible young women have been invited to be appraised for their suitability to become the wife of the Prince of the Dutchmen Coven, but Prince Titan doesn’t want a wife, but he knows that time is running out and he has to, so he watches his mother, the Queen question the young women in front of the crowd. Rose Wolfbane is one of the women, but she isn’t there to marry Titan, she is there for her coven, the Wolfbane Coven who have been cursed by a coven of witches so that they are ruled by the phases of the moon and only one thing can break it and that thing lies somewhere in the Palace she is standing in.

As Titan observes each girl, he sees nothing and nobody who particularly stands out, that is until the last girl, as soon as he meets her eyes, he knows that she is more than she seems and invokes feelings which he never thought he would have, but also ones which complicate his mothers plans to marry him off because she is the absolutely least suitable for the role. As Rose takes her turn under the scrutiny of the Queen and Titan, she is more forthright and slightly more truthful than her cover story allowed, but she knows that if she stuck to just that, she would be found out far too quickly and she knows all too well what that would mean to herself and her coven, so when the royals decide to leave the ball early, she takes the opportunity to start her real mission and try to forget how handsome Titan really is.

As the days pass and Rose is no closer to finding out where her target object is, she is also trying not to step on the toes of the other ladies, but that is not easy when Titan seems to be singling her out and giving her the attention instead of the real contenders, meanwhile Titan is trying to figure out a way to get some time alone with Rose, but she is making it difficult for him when she appears and disappears all the time, but he is determined to figure her out and soon. In between finding favour with his female suitors, Titan is also trying to spend time with his father as he grows progressively weaker as the magic attachment to their kingdom slowly kills him, he just hopes that his father can hold on long enough for him to conceive an heir before he passes on.

Will Rose be able to find what she is looking for, or will Titan figure her out and use this to his advantage and what about the darkness within the other which both attracts and repels them all at the same time, will this become a problem which neither of them foresaw or expected? This is a romantic suspense with plenty of magic, intrigue and missions throughout which will keep you on your toes throughout and hooked until the end.

Twisted Bond is your typical enemies to lovers romance novella, with a dded twist of magic.
Rose is trying to get her coven’s magic back from the coven that stole it and cursed them.
Titan is the prince of the enemy coven but isn’t quite sure whether or not he wants to take over from his father. He finds himself enchanted with Rose and doesn’t know why. This novella moves very quickly, so if you are looking for something fast paced with a little smut and very little world building, this is for you. For me, I enjoy thorough world building and a solid establishment of the magic system, so the pace of this left me wanting a little more. There were some plot holes, but the interaction between the characters makes up for it in the end.

Twisted Bond has so much described imagery in just the first few paragraphs that you can feel and smell the same as described. The book is a bit slow to get into and takes a few chapters to catch on but well worth it. A story of betrayal and the fear of failure but is it really just love the whole time? A great fantasy book that will quickly become a page turner in a few hours.

Oh I just love paranormal romances with a forbidden or romeo and Juliet type bond. Also I love wolf and witch type romances. This was definitely right up my alley. I love how the author is able to bring the characters to life and make the reader feel as though you are right there. The balance of adventure and drama along with the romance was just right. The author was able to create a world that was fiery and tumultuous. The chemistry between the characters is electric. I really was on the edge of my seat anxious to see how the whole story would unfold. I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future.

The Bond was an exciting story! I always love a good enemies to lovers novel and this one is werewolf flavored! The main heroine is on a journey to save her pack while the main hero is forces to find a wife, a task he begrudges. Lines get blurred when undeniable chemistry flares and makes them both question their resolve. If you love werewolves & heat-laced friction, this is a must read!

I found this story interesting and original. There are different factions of witches in this world. Each have their own magic which leans towards a certain aspect ex: the Elway, ghosts, potions and shape shifting. One coven, the Dutchmen, stole another’s magic to enhance their own. The Wolfsbane are forced to shift with the cycles of the moon with no other powers. They learn that the prince of the Dutchmen is looking for a wife so they send Rose to infiltrate and retry their source of magic to break the curse. Rose never expected to fall for the prince and so the adventure begins…

Being as this is my first book from this author, I found it enjoy. It is an enemies to lovers story with a paranormal twist. I really liked Rose not so much Titan. There were moments when I liked him and others when I wasn’t so sure. I wasn’t crazy about the ending but on a good note, it can lead in there being a part two to the book.

This was a super quick paranormal, enemies to lovers, romance. Titan is being forced to find a wife and Rose is forced in the mix to find the moonstone to save her people. Titan is intrigued with rose right from the start but he can’t quite figure her out. Rose never expect to want to get close to Titan. Titan present as the ultimate villain but the dual POV story telling you get to see more into the minds of both main characters. This world of witches wolves, fairies, and more is so intriguing. I do feel the plot is a little lacking, in the sense it all just feels like a lot in a short book but still enjoyable.

Rose is a member of the Wolfsbane coven, whose magical moonstone was stolen long ago. Titan is a member of the Dutchmen coven, the sworn enemies of the Wolfsbane coven and thieves of the moonstone. Titan has finally come of age to find a wife, and must in order to take over his fathers position. Rose has prepared for months for an opportunity to become of the suitors for Titan and get her covens moonstone back. Will it go according to plan, or will the raw attraction drawing them to one another backfire?

Titan wasn’t interested in becoming married, but it is the price he must pay in order to ascend the ranks for his dying fathers position. Rose’s demeanor and rougher ways make it obvious she was not raised to be a gentle queen, but he cannot stop how drawn he is to her. Her lack of noble training is first intriguing, and further attractive.

Rose has planned on this approach for ages, but it is more difficult to stay detached from the situation than she thought. Originally, she knew her bond and love for her sister and coven would be more than enough to make everything work to plan. However, she didn’t expect Titan to call to her so strongly.

There is love and hate, attraction and disgust, spunk, familial ties, magic and so much more is to be found in this story and the characters end the story much more fleshed out than I feared they would be in the beginning.

I loved how this started and was curious to see where it would go. A lot about Rose and Titan was kept a secret and it leaked out a little at a time throughout the story. That definitely kept me turning pages and always wondering and they do have a twisted bond.

Rose is a good character. She has tenacity, grit and secrets. She doesn’t seem to have a lot of growth. She keeps doing a lot of the same actions throughout the story. Titan is also full of secrets and family obligations. He has his moments of clarity and I enjoy watching him trying to figure out Rose.

I felt there are a few loose ends that maybe could have been turned Into other stories Instead of just dropped. Towards the end a lot of things happen at a quick pace. Again I am not sure the necessity of a few of those options.

The secondary characters do invoke some interest(I liked their names and powers) but they are left behind like yesterdays laundry as the story moves forward.

Overall this is an good story that draws the reader in. I like the idea of the story but not a huge fan of the execution near the end. This is not my first book by this author nor will it be my last. I do like her characters and story ideas.

Rose Wolfbane is on Dutchmen lands, the Dutchmen are her covens enemy but she is there for a purpose. Several women have arrived seeking to be picked by Prince Titan as his bride, but Rose is there to find the moonstone as a full moon grows closer.

Titan is drawn to Rose, she is not what she appears. His father is dying and the magic he holds over the lands could end if he doesn’t find a solution soon. He should choose a bride, but his focus is on uncovering Rose’s secret.

I really enjoyed this one, very different for a paranormal book. Reminded me of some of the older fairy tales but with a sexy twist. Would read more from this author for sure.

Twisted Bond was alright. I would give it a 3.5 out of 5. I really liked the concept that brought the story to life. I felt there could’ve been more substance to the story though. Time jumped quite a bit. Not like drastic time jumps, but ones where there could’ve been substance that would’ve added to the story itself.
Bond by fate, enemies by greed. The greed being of power vs money. Prince Titan and Rose are worlds apart yet together as one. His kingdom thrives off the drained power of her people. Which should make her hate him. But she doesn’t. She’s pulled to the prince in ways she can’t explain.
Will it get in the way of her completing her task?
Will she find the moonstone and free her people?
All the answers are within the pages. Be patient with the author though. Where I saw things as frustrating while reading you may enjoy. The story concept is definitely good, I personally just wanted more out of it.

This was such an interesting twist on werewolves, witches, and magic and I loved it!! The author spins this story around and it just catches you in it’s web. Twisted and stuck until you finish it. Like many books this one had me staying up a little extra just to finish it asap. A coven of witches twist magic to make a bond with a wolf coven. The wolves are now bonded to the moon and it’s phases and they don’t have a choice but to turn into a wolf with the moon. Rose, who is part of the wolf coven goes into the Dutchmen’s lands to steal the moonstone that binds both covens together to break the curse, but while she’s there she is under the watchful eye of not only the queen but also the prince. The queen is looking for a bride for the prince and not just anyone will do. She must be powerful and helpful to their responsibilities. He needs an heir and wife fast! Titan, the prince doesn’t want a wife, but he must do something. He is running out of time as his father slips away. His father, with the help of the moonstone is the current amplifier of the realm’s magic and it’s slowly poisoning him. Without the bond the realm’s magic will drop and the world with it will be in shambles. The prince must become the new holder for the gem, but he finds himself questioning everything. When the two of the meet something in them both changes. She’s attracted to his darkness and he’s not interested in his heart holding the realm together. Choosing their own paths might just be the end of them both. You need to check this book out! You will enjoy the twists and turns as much as I did. Plus the unique take on the supernatural world.

Speechless. This is the first book I have read by the talented Danielle Jacks, and I’m hooked. While the cover is certainly eye catching the synopsis is truly what pulled at my curiosity. Told from the dual perspective of Rose and Titan, the author takes the reader on the love story adventure you never knew you needed.
Rose is part of the Wolfbane coven, the moonstone that was the source of their magic was stolen long ago by the Dutchmen coven. Titan is the prince and next ruler of the Dutchmen coven. With a somewhat of a slow start the book opens with Rose and four other potential suitors arriving in the Dutchmen realm as the prince has come of age and needs a wife. Titan is instantly drawn to Rose; her look and her rougher ways reveal that she is not the noblewoman she is portraying to be. The other women quickly notice the prince’s interest in Rose and when given the chance to help her leave one takes it only for it to backfire. Getting a chance at completing her mission Rose succeeds but at what cost. They both have an infatuation with each other, he is determined to keep her as his and only his while she desires to be his she has a duty to her people and her older sister. The twisted bond between the Rose and Titan is threaded between love and hate, mixed with raw attraction. Blood spilled on both sides, futures reclaimed as their own, and a connection that leaves them confused but eyes only set on one another.
Can they escape the fates of the curse that bonds their families together? Are their feelings for each other real? In a world at war, and the smoke finally settles can love win? The world the author creates is a fairy tale that comes crashing down, the reality of actions long past leaving the descendants to pick up the broken pieces. Rose is one of the most amazing characters I have ever read about, her spunk and determination but also her heart and loyalty. She sacrifices so much in hopes of doing the right thing and at the end of the day she finally realizes that her greatest desire is to do what truly makes her happy without fear of how others will see her. Titan, while in the beginning seems like he will be the ultimate villain of the story ends up being just as interesting as Rose, his growth and development becoming worthy of Rose’s affections. Whilst on the edge of my seat the ending left me feeling satisfied and hungry for my next read by this amazing author. The perfect read on a rainy Monday.

Rose is part of the Wolfbane coven. Years ago their magic was stolen by the Dutchmen. In order to get it back, they come up with a plan. Rose goes in under the guise of possibly becoming the princess to Prince Titan of the Dutchmen coven, and while there try to find the moonstone that they need to restore their legacy.

Titan needs a bride and an heir before he can take on the role of King. He needs someone strong to help him maintain the magic he needs to keep up with his kingdom. So when his mother brings in a group of women to choose from, he is instantly intrigued by Rose. She isn’t like the other women. She seems to be not what she appears. Like she is hiding something and this excites Titan. Not at all what he should want for a bride.

Their chemistry is undeniable, everytime they are close the sparks fly. Will this affect Rose’s mission? Can she do it before the full moon? Can Titan find the perfect queen to rule with him?

I started off hating Titan. He was a selfish, uncaring man who liked to use people so when the element of will they/won’t they started I was hoping Rose would steer clear of him. As time went on, you got glimpses of warmth within the prince making me like him a bit more. The romance between the two of them was dark and toxic. It honestly gave me Stockholm syndrome vibes. If you like dark, steamy enemies to lovers trope with an element of the supernatural, then this book is for you!

This was my first book by this author and I am definitely going to be checking her other books out ASAP! The bond between Rose and Titan was dark and as the title suggested, twisted. Rose was an amazing heroine who was strong and not afraid to get her hands dirty. Titan was the tortured prince, keeping a deadly secret about his kingdom. The author wrote a vivid tale that pulled you right into the story. She weaved a magical and paranormal story that had witches, shifters, magic, curses, and romance. I loved that we had different POV’s so we could get a full picture of what was happening. The story was extremely well written and it was fantastic to see how the characters grew. The author did an amazing job of developing all of the characters and creating some very intense situations. Twisted Bond by Danielle Jacks just became my favourite read of her. It is a fantastic paranormal romance with witches, shifters, curses, adventure, chemistry, steam, drama, danger, family, responsibility, secrets, finding love unexpectedly, and so much more.
I loved the fairytale feel of this story and the connection between Rose and Titan. Circumstances may have thrown these two together, and there may have been a bit of an enemies-to-lovers start to this romance- but there were sparks and sizzle galore.
Ms. Jacks has woven a wonderful tale, drawing me in easily and enticing me to form connections- because I was invested in these two right from the outset. I swooned, cursed, smiled, got all the ‘feels’, as well as experiencing a few anxious moments- and LOVED every minute!
Now I can’t wait to see what she does next!
Happy Reading…

Thank you, Danielle Jacks!

I really enjoyed this paranormal romance. The author does an amazing job of creating a unique magical story that had me gripped right from the start. I loved Rose’s character. She is a very strong, determined woman who will stop at nothing to achieve her goals. One thing she doesn’t plan on is falling in love with the enemy.
Titan is a Prince to the outside world but it is all a lie. A lie made possible by stealing the magic from Rose’s coven to hold up the illusion. Titan is a hard character, sometimes I liked him and some times i hated him but one thing is there is no denying the connection and attraction between him and Rose.
But can sworn enemy’s actually become lovers? When Titan loses everything will he lose Rose as well? Will Rose stand up to her covern to protect the man she loves?
This story is full of paranormal happenings, a love/hate relationship, a connection that can’t be denied as well as secrets and lies that will come out in the open. This was a great read.
