Wild Vamp: Jaded Vamp Series Book 2Wild Vamp: Jaded Vamp Series Book 2 by L.D. Wosar
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Kaysee and Dominic Belluomo are the heart of the book. So many twists and turns to keep you riveted on the edge of your seat. The author has a great grasp of adding humor to difficult situations. Dominic’s past comes back full speed ahead. You get knowledge of the past of each Kaysee and Dominic that adds more understanding to the story. A brutal love story for the modern day vampire.

Braelynn Shaw is a defense lawyer defending the rich and the worst of society. She finds herself in deep when she commits murder. Will she get help from her secret lover? The book had me captured from the very start. I found at times I was holding my breath hoping beyond hope all will turn out for Braelynn Shaw. Although she committed murder I was cheering her on. The author has a way of making you feel compassion for the characters. I looked forward to Book 2 and getting to know the other characters in the mafia family.

Chased (A Cambridge Men of Honour Novel Book One): A Dark Mafia Bad Boy Romance (Cambridge Men of Honour—Dark Mafia Romances 1) by Felicity Brandon – Review by Deb Robinson

ChasedChased by Felicity Brandon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Felicity Brandon has the talent of taking you right into the book and ignoring the outside world. The imagery makes you feel like you are experiencing the same things as the characters. I would recommend this book to any who love a dominant, billionaire, mafia main character who will do anything to get what he wants. Sensitive content for those who may have triggers. The author’s writing style was flowing and kept you informed from both points of view. Excellent book.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really loved this book and could not put it down. The banter between Damien and Zoe was funny, raw, and steamy. Teenage crushes are hard to let go of when faced with the gorgeous alpha man he is now. The vulnerability between the two is electric. This is the first time I have read a book by Danielle Jacks and I will most certainly be reading more. She has a way of grabbing you from the very start.

Twisted Secrets (Deadly Isles Special Ops #1)Twisted Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book had me flipping back in forth as to who was behind the terror haunting Riley. Amy McKinley kept me on the edge of my seat until the very end. Xander the Navy Seal and Riley the barista have sparks flying as they get to know one another. With trouble brewing in both of their lives, this was a tense book. I loved the strength Riley has when she finds out the truth of who is behind the break ins at her apartment. I await the continuation of the next book. Will all settle down or is this just the beginning for Xander and Riley?

This is an amazing read. Fae, Vampires and Wolves. What more could a reader ask for. Livvie is coming into herself. Her strength among conflict is inspiring. This story was an exquisite mix of past and present. As soon as you thought everything was calm and going well all heck breaks loose. I loved all the twists and turns. Author Lilly Rayman has the ability to write about several characters and their backgrounds without losing the main focus of the story. The wild west meets present day. Love it. Can’t wait for book 2

A mafia boss as cold and calculating as they come or so I thought. This book had me on the edge of my seat waiting for the next foot to fall. Katie the daughter of the mafia boss has many trials as she is put in her place by her father. Living with bodyguards constantly and no privacy is a never ending tight rope. Book 2 is a must in this series.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Sizzling Hot and Relevant

Author K.L. Shandwick has mastered the art of taking you on a ride of exploration, through personal self introspective, sexual exploration, self awareness and love for others through past pain. I listened to this book in one day. The main characters were so vivid you felt their triumphs and pain to your core. I laughed at times and was also shocked at times ( in a good way) . When the past meets the present sparks fly. An amazing day spent in the imagination of this wonderful author. I will certainly read this author again.

I really enjoyed this book. Adeline is such a strong and independent woman. I loved her career drive to succeed. Definitely has a head on her shoulders and doesn’t take any guff. The way the story incorporates the past and present is very intriguing. The author Amy McKinley has a way of making you want to travel to Italy with your love and enjoy the opulence of the country.
