Addie: To Wager on Her Future is the fifth book in the Other Pens, Mansfield Park series by Leenie Brown. Leenie Brown has an amazing eye for detail. Her story lays everything out so that you can see everything in your mind’s eye. The plot line has a lot of depth to it. One thing that I enjoyed, is that the female character is the heroine. Addie has a family that she loves and has thrust upon her. Between her father on his deathbed and her brother with his little gambling problem has made Addie lead the family and take care of business. Will Addie be able to take charge like her father did for the family? Will her brother be too much to handle? You will have to read the story to find out the answers to these questions.

A Song to Remember by Carrie Pulkinen is a Crescent City Wolf Pack novella. It can be read as a stand-alone although I personally like the build up of reading the other books first. I loved how fast this book was. It felt like it was so intense as so much was packed into it with great detail. However it also never felt rushed and didn’t ever feel like anything was missing. The characters were brilliant. They had such a strong connection that you could feel on each page. This author has created a fantastic series and one that I enjoy more and more with each book. I would highly recommend everyone read this series.

I enjoyed this book. It is my first book by this author and I look forward to reading more. This is a creative, well developed story that I couldn’t put down once I started it. It is full of action and romance, of course having a hot sexy hero made the story engaging. The characters had great chemistry and made the story realistic. What will happen when Renegade becomes a bodyguard to protect a friends sister? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens.

The story Renegade (The Mercenaries Series Book 1) by Raven White is a wonderful book to read. I loved the storyline and the characters. It is a book that has both suspense and romance. I really loved the character of Eliza McKay. She is strong, independent, intelligent, and a wonderful singer. She was been attacked and her brother, Sparrow, has called on the services of Sam “Renegade” McGill to keep her safe. Renegade is a man that takes his job seriously and has a comradery with those he works with. He also finds himself very attracted to Eliza. He, however, knows that she is off-limits. Eliza also feels the attraction to Renegade. Will they act on their attraction for each other? Will the one that attacked Eliza be caught? What does the future hold for Eliza and Renegade? Read this book to find out. This is a story that has romantic moments that make the temperature in the room rise. The story also had me wondering what was going to happen next and if the attacker was going to be caught. I also enjoyed reading about Sparrow. He is protective of Eliza and will do anything to keep her safe. This is the first book in a series, and I can’t wait to read the next story. Don’t miss out on a book that you won’t want to put down until you have finished the last page. I highly recommend reading it.

The story Testament of Feats: Book of Sorrows Book Two by K.H. Jones is a wonderful fantasy book. It pulls you in and I found myself glued to the pages wondering what was going to happen next. The author does a wonderful job of making the characters come alive. The story is written in such a way that I felt like I was right there with them. In this second book of the series, you again go on a journey with the ranger, Night Scream. I enjoyed reading about Night Scream and those that interacted with him. There are also those who have their own agenda. Will their plans succeed? There are conflicts, danger, and suspense. Read this book to find out what happens next in this amazing series. Don’t miss out on a story that will have you hooked until the final page. I recommend reading this book.

This book will take you on an epic adventure through time. Katie Butler is on vacation in Savannah, in the hotel she is staying at a lady begins telling guests the story of Eleanor MacAllister and her book. Katie becomes intrigued by the story and wants to find the book of Eleanor. Katie has a surprise awakening when she is transported back in time to 1864 but doesn’t understand why. Here she meets Colm O’Donnell and they go on a great adventure together. Katie must decide whether to stay in 1864 with Colm, or go back to her family and friends in 2019. All the characters, and the world are very well developed and you will find yourself falling in love with every character and wishing they come to no harm. I cannot wait for the next books in this fabulous series!

This is yet again another great read! I have read a few books from this author and I am never disappointed. I really like the author’s writing style and storylines. I love how she entwines a bit of drama into the romance. I am a huge paranormal romance fan and I love me some werewolf. This book was just a gripping read.
The storyline between Shane and Bekah is actually really sweet. I like how the characters really come to life as you read. I like how the author leads the reader on a journey. The way a bit of the past is entwined into the book and the characters even being paranormal based are realistic. I could really relate to Bekah and her insecurities when it came to her judgement. I really like how the author brings them together. The book was a great read and I will be reading more from this author in the future.

Naughty & Nice by Phoebe Alexander a five-star read that you will pray never ends. This is number four is the Spicetopia series, they can be read as stand-alone, but I have read and enjoyed them as a series and this one blew my socks off. Micah Greene what a man, even if he is one of the cloth variety, not someone I expected to see popping up in the Spicetopia world, but I am so glad he does as he is a character I am so glad to see, he just warmed parts of me that have been cold for a very long time. I think he warmed parts of a certain wedding planner as well, but well the cloth thing can be an issue. This whole story just built everything up and gave us a great story, one I was sorry to see end.

Testament of Feats: Book of Judgement by K.H. Jones a four-star read that will take you away. This is my first read by this author, but it wont be the last, as the world building is very well done, especially as I think this is a debut novel, normally I am not a fan of such a detailed story on a debut as they either go way to overboard or just miss huge gaps but this just seemed to get it in that sweet spot, that makes very easy reading. This is a unique story that shows great promise of a great series to come. Scream will captivate you and lead you on an amazing journey, they will surprise you and keep you hooked all the way through, its dark and mysterious and will just keep you reading. There are a couple of bits that drifted hence why it’s a four, and not a five, but I am sure that the series will just get better and better.

Hidden Obsession by Maddie Wade and India Kells a five-star read that you will become obsessed with. This is number two in An Alliance Agency series and this series goes from strength to strength, this really is great story telling from these two. This kicks off with action and drama from the very first page, Cleo Darwin and Mason Bentley bring chemistry to the page that just leaps from it. Cleo is a great character, and I was rooting for her from the start, while with Mason, I don’t know it took me a little while to warm to, but do you know what when he got into his stride I couldn’t get enough of him, that protective show just made it all for me. Once you pick this up you won’t want to put it down, this series is great.

This is an amazing adventure/ fantasy story. I found it a little hard to get into at the beginning because of all the characters and the places and how each clan links to the next but i am very glad i stuck with it.
The book is filled with adventure, from sword fights, to spiritual Bards. Every clan has its own fighters and they all have a history which isnt always good.
One ranger sets out to change all that. To right the wrongs that have been commited by his ancestors and to save his clans way of life. But there are more forces at work than the ones he can see and knows about.

This a new author for me and I was very unsure if I would like it BUT I am actually pleasantly surprised. I ended up enjoying this book and I thought it was well written. The characters in this story are great, they were likeable and the author was able to bring them to life. I was looking forward to seeing where this story was headed and the twists and turns were great. I am going to look into more books by this author in the future! This book might seem naughty, but it’s more about openness and acceptance. There’s finally a wedding planned; but a minister at an adult theme park? Micah’s background allows him to see things differently than the church where he serves as a counselling minister. Natalie has the hots for Micah from the very first sight, but she needs to fight her attraction, so she doesn’t ruin the wedding. Everyone is trying to keep the dreadful parents of the groom from destroying the whole event. This book has a lot of twists and naughtiness, along with some romance and faith. In the end they all learn some important lessons and open their hearts. It’s a really good story with just enough spice added to the life lessons to make it a great read.

MAGIC-PRICE is Book 1 in “THE CROWN OF STONES” series and is an epic fantasy. It is one of those tales that has a moral built into the story and it could actually be applied to some of events in currently present in the world. Good vs Evil – Action vs Reaction – Life vs Death.
Addiction [əˈdikSH(ə)n] NOUN: the fact or condition of being addicted to a particular substance, thing, or activity. One wouldn’t think addiction to magic could be real, but clearly the main protagonist is addicted to his gift. The compulsive transfer from one addiction to another without treating the underlying cause is the theme to this book.
There are many characters that we are introduced to. This is a story that is told from the MCs POV and each character he introduces us to is explained so as to prevent any confusion. The story seems well plotted and has a very strong beginning, middle and end. It’s a story that keeps the reader engaged by moving from one situation to another in a well defined time frame, always moving the story forward.
This is not a story I read in one sitting. It is a little different from the books I normally pick up and I’m glad I had an opportunity to read this one.

The Crown of Stones: Magic-Price by C. L. Schneider was a fantastical read. I would give this book a five out of five stars. The world building was beyond what I expected. I felt drawn in and it reminded me of some of my favorite fantasy stories. I felt empathetic to Ian’s struggles and was glad to see some development as the story progresses. I cannot wait to read the next book, I am sure it’ll be another great experience.

Yes Yes Yes! I feel like I have been waiting ages to dive into another Manda Mellett read and when I got my hands on this read I didn’t want it to end! She has done it again and this time with a spin-off from the Satan’s Devils MC bringing us the Second generation! This book was brilliant from start to finish! While these books are part of a series they can be read as a stand-alone but believe me you won’t want to read them separately you will definitely regret not reading them all. This book has romance, passion, action, adventure & suspense, and it really will hold you captive and engaged right until the very end! It will have you smiling, have you mad and angry but more than not it will have you rooting for characters you have come to love!
I loved everything about this read. It brings you along on Amy’s journey as she faces many things. This book does include some trigger content for our characters but Manda Mellett always writes them in a respectful way. This book has a lot of emotions for us as the reader but also the journey Amy takes bring emotions with it.
I absolutely loved her relationship and connection to Drew a.k.a Wizard throughout the whole read, you could tell what they had was real even from when they were younger, they really were both made for each other and to see that relationship have its ups and downs was hard you just wished and hoped they would get a HEA.
I loved revisiting & reading about all the other characters from previous books, it tied it all together perfectly. Another thing I loved about this read was that it was written in dual POV’s I really seem to connect more with the story and the characters as it gives me a better insight into the characters an what they are really thinking and feeling! But ultimately it makes me love them more! I cant wait to see what else comes from this series and this author you will never be disappointed when reading a book by Manda Mellett!

I should probably start off with the disclaimer that I normally shy away from these books. Likely it is for me to simply not read a book with so much sci-fi infliction on the blurb and cover. However, I have read other novels by CL Schneider (her Nite Fire series) and I thoroughly enjoyed each of the books by her. I decided to stop being so dismissive and give these novels that belong to the The Crown of Stones series a chance. I am happy that I did.
Schneider has a huge knack for writing a vivid and realistic scene with thoughts and elements that you would not ever expect to be realistic. I often feel as if I have hopped into her books and The Crown of Stones: Magic-Price, was no different. The characters are full of life and so fun to follow, often relatable. I love the thought and attention to detail that is super evident throughout. These books are so much more than the sci-fi drama I could ever label it as. I feel as if you get a bit of everything in these stories.
In this book we find Ian a man that has been living in literal fear for his life and freedom. He is terrified to use his magic and that makes life extremely complicated for him. When new threats are brought forth he is forced to figure out how to use his magic and find his balance. I loved the adventure Ian went on and I am so looking forward to seeing what will happen next in book two!

I fell in love with the cover first of Courage of Us by Brooke May. I have read a few other novels of hers so I knew it would be something I would enjoy and it was a no-brainer to one-click for me this one. I am so happy to say that the book lived up to its cover and so much more.
I loved the characters Patience and Duke. Now, at moments I didn’t really care for Duke which will all make sense when you read it for yourself, but this guy felt like he got off the hook a tad too easy for my liking. That is until we find out the secrets haunting Patience’s past can be just as big a factor.
Patience and Duke were each other’s everything from the moment they met as infants. Unfortunately, life had other plans when they grew up. Patience is stuck behind and finds herself in a terrible marriage. Meanwhile Duke takes leave with the Marines and basically abandons Patience. Now the two have a chance to meet back up and put the past to bed. Will they be able to do so and build the happily ever after they both so deserve? This is one you do not want to miss and I am so excited to find out there will be more books to come! I can’t wait to see what will happen next!

One of my favorite things about the holiday season is getting to devour sweet and soul-warming novellas that center around the magic of the season. Running In Snow: A Holiday Novella, is just that. Two heart and soul warming short stories that bring to life the promise of hope. I loved that these books were taken from the experiences of the author and spun into the stories. It made them seem just a little bit more magical.
Noelle’s Promise: This lovely novella brings us the story of Noelle. Noelle has a history of bad Christmas memories and is determined to avoid celebrating the holiday forever. Things soon start to look like that is not going to be an option since she has developed a relationship with her boyfriend Logan. Him and his family convince her to give it one more shot. Nothing of course comes easy and the past begins to rear its ugly head. Will Noelle run and avoid the feelings that come to head or will she face the past long enough to bury it and start anew? This was a sweet and short novella, almost making me want a tad more. I think a lot of that has to do with how much I enjoyed Noelle’s character. I feel like she has even more story in her, or just maybe one with a tad more detail, but for the holiday novella idea this covers everything.
Eve’s Hope: Eve of course is the main gal for this novella. She was a bit more light-hearted of a read. Even doesn’t enjoy New Year’s Eve, in fact she thinks the whole thing is just jinxed for her and she does everything in her power to keep herself in a safe and neutral space for this one evening. Of course we need a sweet twist to make that interesting so things don’t quite go as Eve had hoped they would. Will she be able to embrace the ideas of NYE and start new memories that will be worth celebrating? I think this one has to be my favorite of the two and again I would have to say I would love more of Eve as well.

Burning Greed by Diane M Dickson is my first book by this author. I found her writing style to be flowing and suspenseful. She kept me on the edge of my seat. DI Miller character drew me into the story. I felt like I was with her throughout the investigations. DI Miller is torn between her job as a fire investigation and being an aunt. What an impossible decision to make? Will DI Miller’s team be able to investigate the murder? Will DI Miller locate her niece before anything happens to her? Will there be dirt coming out of the investigations that DI Miller cannot hide? I highly recommend this story. I know I am going to read the other stories written by Diane M Dickson.

Maddie Wade and India Kells have made a dynamic duo for Hidden Obsession. I recommend reading the Prequel and Knight Watch (Book 1). The characters are complex and complicated and the plot is engaging. It is a fast paced roller coaster ride from the first page to the last page. This story focuses on Cleo and Mason. Cleo is an office manager of the Alliance Agency. She is a strong female but there is a skeleton in her closet. . Mason is a security who has protected from the rich and famous to the royalties. Mason has fallen for Cleo and the feeling is mutual. When there is a stalker coming after Cleo, will Mason be able to protect Cleo? Will the skeleton be too much for Cleo to keep secret? I highly recommend this story to find out these answers and much more.

Testament of Feats: Book of Judgement Book One by K.H. Jones. This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I believe its his first book. Its a great read. Its a fantasy book which is not my favorite but this book pulled me in and wouldn’t let me go. It reminded me of The Hobbit and it was so interesting. It has all kinds of World building and you have to pay attention or you will get lost. Night Scream is a ranger and he is in search of another ranger named Warhold. Some people offer to help Scream but others are extremely dangerous to him. Scream has decided he will find what he wants no matter how many worlds it takes him to or how much danger it puts him in. Mr. Jones storytelling is amazing and so detailed. I’m sure this won’t be the last book I read by him.

Amy’s Santa (Satan’s Devils MC: Second Generation Book 1) by Manda Mellett. I have read every single book in this series and this is one of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE series and authors!!!!!!!! I loved the OGs but getting to see the kids grow up and come into their own, and taking over the club has been amazing!!!! I love how Amy and Drew finally come together. I will admit that I did want to throw and smash my kindle in the beginning….. but the more I read, the more I fell deeper in love with their story!!! I will be waiting on pins and needles for the next book!!!!

5 Star Testament of Feats: Book of Judgement Book One by K.H. Jones is a Fantasy but is packed with action. This is my first read by this Author but definitely not my last. I will admit I had a bit of trouble getting into it at first but once I did I couldn’t stop reading. I had to know what happens next. The World building is this story is almost vivid,I can picture everything this Author is describing. His attention to detail and his characters are simply amazing. His characters are very developed. The storyline itself is mysterious yet very entertaining. Find out what happens when Night Scream sets out on a journey to find a fellow ranger. Will he find the answers he’s looking for? What does his future hold? I highly recommend reading this book .I can’t wait to read the next Book in this series.

Winds of Fear: A gripping psychological thriller (Fearless Series) by Gledé Browne Kabongo. This book was one of the best I’ve read this year! This is my first book by this author and I’ll be hitting the rest as soon as possible. I completely agree that this can be read as a stand-alone with any confusion, but I’ll definitely be getting the others. From page one I knew I was in for a fantastic read with Abbie and I wasn’t wrong. This story had me on the edge of my seat most of the time and I loved every minute of it. The characters are so well written you can see each scene right before your eyes. The storyline is filled with suspense and twists that had me completely hooked! I can’t wait to read more from this author! Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

Testament of Feats: Book of Judgment by K. H. Jones. I sometimes have a hard time sinking into a fantasy type stories but I had no trouble with this story. This book is well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. The characters are complex and truly pulled me in. The story is no quick read and I mean that in all the right ways, I had a hard time putting it down but I had at times simply to stop my head from being overloaded with all the amazing things happening in this book. The author created a truly unique story world that kept me hooked. I’m excited to see where we’re taken next from this author. Four big stars and highly recommended.

Earl of Darby (Wicked Earls’ Club) (Once Upon A Widow Book 4) by Aubrey Wynne. This entire series has been stealing bit of my heart since book one and yet again I find a piece missing! I’ve been really enjoying all these stories and this one was no different in that regard. Once again this author completely hooked me from page one. This author and series has really opened my eyes for historical romance, you see I wasn’t much of a fan but that’s definitely changing now. The characters from start to finish completely drew me into their world and I couldn’t stop reading. Each character brings something unique to the storyline, everyone being complex and relatable. The storyline is well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking. Each character has a story to be told you won’t want to miss. I’m excited to see where the author takes readers next. Five stars and highly recommend.
