IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE (Irresistible Romance Book 3) Anthology – Review by Erica Fish

IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE (Irresistible Romance Book 3)IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

My two favorite stories are by Tamara Ferguson and Jacquie Biggar

Two Hearts’ Reconnaissance: Tamara Ferguson

Two Hearts’ Reconnaissance by Tamara Ferguson is one of my favorite stories in this anthology. Ferguson wrote about a teenage couple Eve and Harry. They became close friends and it grew into a loving relationship. Now they had to split ways because they had different careers. Do you remember your high school sweetheart? Can you think about parting ways only to find your way back to them? Will Eve and Harry be able to rekindle their story? This story has a roller coaster ride of emotions. Enjoy Eve and Harry and their special story.

The Player by Jacquie Biggar

This love story is about Roy and Patience. Roy is a NHL player and he had a stalker. Now he was not able to play because of them. There was PA Patience, who helped him with his PR. All Roy wants is to play hockey. There was something innocent about Patience that peaked Roy’s interest. Can there be romance in the PA Patience and NHL Roy? Will Roy allow himself to love Patience? This is a short story but it is well written and captured my attention throughout the whole story.

Mountains Loved (Mountains Series #3) By Phoebe Alexander – Review by Erica Fish

Mountains Loved (Mountains #3)Mountains Loved by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the third book in the Mountain Series and we find ourselves with Sarah and James. I highly recommend reading this story in order. We are with Sarah and James at the start, middle, and now the final destination of their story. It is refreshing to follow a couple from when it started. I have a deeper understanding where they are coming from in their relationship. There have been many mountains for these two. Some rough patches, but they always find their way back to each other. In this story, Sarah and James thought that they had climbed their last mountain, well that is just a little more for them to climb. There is something not happening with Sarah and James. There is one piece of the puzzle that has eluded them. Will this puzzle piece missing can Sarah and James overcome this mountain before them? You will have to read this series to find out.

A KISS BENEATH A STRAWBERRY MOON (Daydreams & Dragonflies Rock 'N Sweet Romance 3)A KISS BENEATH A STRAWBERRY MOON by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is one of the sweetest stories I have read in a long time. To think that an innocent kiss under a Strawberry Moon is the start of a relationship. Tamara Ferguson is one of my favorite authors. Her characters are simple but complex at the same time.Within her story the plot line keeps your interest and makes you feel like you are right there with the characters. I personally went on a roller coaster ride of emotions. I would keep a box of Kleenex handy while reading this story. Vocalist Marielle McKinnon and composer Drew have shared a sweet innocent kiss under a Strawberry Moon. Their love story is going strong. Their careers are taken off, until something happened with Drew’s family. That is when their story starts taking a realistic side trip. Drew enlists and gets injured in Iraq. Can he ever face Marielle again? Will Marielle find out what happened? Can their sweet innocent relationship survive? You will have to read this story to find out.

Out Of The ShadowsOut Of The Shadows by Theresa Sederholt
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

OH MY GOODNESS!! OH MY GOODNESS!! This story is one of the best stories I have read in a long time. Theresa Sederholt can build a world in her writings that I was catapulted into. Her character development is complex. Her plot line is engaging and I could not put the book down until I finished it. This story is about Dane. He has a secret that he does not want to come out of his closet, but that may be happening. He is on a fast lane to hell. Will Dane be able to climb his way out of hell? Can he remain strong? I highly recommend this book.

FLOWERS IN DECEMBER TRILOGY: Flowers in December, Coming Home, Second Chance by Jane Suen – Review by Erica Fish

FLOWERS IN DECEMBER TRILOGYFLOWERS IN DECEMBER TRILOGY by Jane Suen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Flowers in December Trilogy by Jane Suen is a great family base story. This trilogy is about raw emotions: hope, loss, love, and second chances. Jane Suen does a wonderful job creating multi layers, fully developed characters. The stories flowed easily from one page to another page to the next book in the series. I found myself in the story with Mary Ann and Connor’s relationship and their life choices and situations. The story does have a roller coaster ride of ups and downs so I would make sure you have kleenex by you. I encourage you to read this trilogy because you will not regret it.

Lisa: Coming Of Age (Guardian Shifters #1)Lisa: Coming Of Age by K.M. Lowe
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Lisa: Coming of Age is the first book in the The Guardian Shifters by KM Lowe. KM Lowe put a lot of creativity into her story. She made her shifter story unique. It is a romance book with paranormal roots as well. Her characters are multi-layer which makes seeing them in my mind’s eye easy. This story is about Lisa. Lisa was left on hospital stairs seventeen years ago. She never wanted for anything in her life, until now. She was curious about her birth parents and what led them to leave her on those hospital stairs. She turns to her best friend Markus to help her understand what is going on with her. King & Hunt: A Lust / Hate Story By Brienne Dubh – Review by Erica Fish

King & Hunt: A Lust / Hate StoryKing & Hunt: A Lust / Hate Story by Brienne Dubh
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

King & Hunt: A Lust/Hate Story by Brienne Dubh is my first book by this author. It was a great story to get to know Brienne Dubh. This was a short hot, steamy, lust/hate story. The characters have great chemistry together. Brienne Dubh does an amazing bringing this story alive. I have always heard that there is a fine line between love/hate, but I did see a line between lust/hate for sure. Christian and Gabrella had that relationship. There was always a love/hate relationship until one day. Christian and Gabrella let their guard down and bam that is when the steamy part of the story began. There are so many questions but the main one I think is important is Will Christian and Gabrella go back to their love/hate relationship? I recommend you read this story to find this out.

Do not pass this boxed set pass by. Rowan Shaw. His attention to detail is one thing I love about his stories. These books are set in France. There not a place better for a love story. There is m/m romance and great diversities to show each relationship and how they grow. The characters are amazing and I felt at home with them. I could see myself being friends with all of the characters. Can you find love if you are being you? Will you allow yourself to open up to someone that you are ready to be with forever? Those relationships when you are yourself and still feel love is what you should hold in your life.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Mountains Series by Phoebe Alexander is another series not to pass up. In the synopsis it states to read the first three books in order because it is all about Sarah and James’s story. There are a total of eight books. Phoebe Alexander does not disappoint as her stories are always a great read. She has characters that pop off the page and the situations they find themselves in can be interesting. Like in this story, Sarah and James are not looking for a relationship only to be friends with benefits. Does that ever work out that way? Can there be a friendship with benefits and not get to wanting more? Is there any hope for Sarah and James to remain friends with benefits? Is one of them want more? I cannot wait to read book 2 for the continuation of their story.

Call of the Alpha is the second book in the Powder River Pack series by Brooke May. Brooke May’s attention to detail draws me in from the very first page. Her characters are amazingly close to real that I would want to belong to the pack. This story is about Mason and Rylie. Their story has lots of ups and downs, twists and turns, and a bond that makes a regular relationship boring. Rylie is moving back to her hometown. She comes back career focused biologist. Somehow that changes when she meets Mason for the first time. Mason is the pack leader and once he finds someone he wants a mate he goes and gets them. The Wicked Wolves of Windsor and other fairytales by Byrd Nash. This book is a collection of fairytales. The heros in fairytales is the female character. Nash’s is very descriptive and it was easy to follow throughout all the short tales. My favorite by Nash has to be The Wicked Wolves of Windsor. “This is a dark version of Red Riding Hood in a magical fantasy England post WWI” as the author says in the synopsis. With all these short tales, I felt my blood boiling and heart racing throughout the stories. I highly recommend this story to see it from Byrd Nash’s take of the fairytales.

Beloved is the third book in the 21st Century Courtesan by Pamela DuMond. I highly recommend reading the first two books before jumping in to this book. Ms. DuMond’s characters are fully developed and complex personalities. There are different levels of support for one another. The characters are also a bit dark but are intrinsic to each other. The story is a roller coaster ride. Evie, who is one of the main characters, has only four clients left and of the four there is one who wants Evie dead. I found myself reading at a fast pace because I wanted to see what was going to happen next. I suggest reading this book to see what happens to Evie.
